Tom Cruise?s promotional duties for Valkyrie will never end. The man has been promoting his comeback role nearly non-stop for months, and the latest tour has taken him and his girls to Japan. But shock of all shocks, Tom Cruise and his girls flew… gasp… commercial! First-class, commercial flight. As opposed to Tom?s normal mode of transport, the wings of Xenu. No, just kidding! He normally flies one of his own planes, like his tricked-out Gulfstream or the jet he bought Katie. Australia?s Daily Telegraph has more:
What would make Tom Cruise take his family on a red eye commercial flight, albeit first class, from New York to Tokyo, when he usually flies himself to cities worldwide?
Perhaps the global financial crisis has even hit the kings of Hollywood.
Cruise flies his own Gulfstream and owns two other planes, and last year bought his wife, Katie Holmes, a jet.
But to promote his new film Valkyrie in Tokyo, which hits the screens on March 20, Tom, Katie and their daughter Suri touched down at Narita International Airport on a commercial flight.

Shocking. Even though everyone is pinching pennies these days, I doubt Tom Cruise has many financial worries. Before he went crazy (circa 2005), Tom had accumulated $400 million, by some estimates (probably more). It?s much more likely that Tom wanted to get some extra publicity by arriving and walking Toyko?s Narita airport terminal like a normal person.
If extra publicity was his intention, it sort of worked. Tom, Katie and Suri were ?mobbed? by crazed Japanese fans. According to ITN, Tom ?shook hands, signed dozens of autographs and posed for pictures with his Japanese fans while Holmes walked with baby Suri in her arms. Tom told reporters, “We’re gonna hang out. We’re gonna see some sights, you know, and we want to eat great sushi that they have here, and just looking forward to seeing some friends.” Japan?s always loved Tom, and he?s showing the love right back.

Back home with her family in Los Angeles during a break from filming, Katie Holmes enjoyed a romantic dinner date with hubby Tom Cruise on Saturday night (February 28).
The “Top Gun” stud took his “Mad Money” bride to Il Sole restaurant, with Katie looking a bit somber as she and Tom exited the popular eatery following their meal.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Katie spent the past week working in NYC on her new movie, “The Extra Man,” a comedy starring Kevin Kline and John C. Reilly.
And though it’s work, FOX New reports that she actually plays “pretty much fourth fiddle, as Kline and Paul Dano are the main characters. Everyone involved says Katie’s part is small and requires very little work.”

Tom Cruise and counterpart Katie Holmes treated Suri (oh yeah and Connor too–but who cares about him, right?) to a magical Valentine’s Day at Walt Disney World. It’s always great fun to escape one fanciful reality for another one, I always say. Disneyland will do for the Cruises until Xenuland is done. There’ll be all sorts of out-of-this-world attractions, like the Body Thetan Blaster, where you can blast those pesky clustering alien spirits, the Audacious Auditor, where your head is harnessed up to a helmet and then blasted with 50,000 volts (it’s a LOT more fun than it sounds) and simultaneously poked with a cattle prod up your rectum, and don’t let’s forget about the hourly showings of the Space Opera, where you can see for yourself just how thetans got trapped in a meat body! Regular amusement park fare will be served, along with more exotic delicacies, like deep-fried placenta on a stick! Mmm, I can smell it now!

Tom Cruise is a man of leisure at the moment. He can jet off to Florida for a little rest and relaxation, attend Daytona, then take his girls to DisneyWorld to meet Cinderella. His comeback is nearly complete. The only thing that would enhance it would be a magnanimous appearance at the Oscars, even though the Academy failed to nominate him this year for his hilarious appearance in Tropic Thunder (though the Academy recognized Robert Downey Jr.?s comeback).
But Tom Cruise won’t be doing ?presenting? duties at the Oscars. Allegedly, according to OK! Magazine, Cruise and Holmes will not be attending this year?s Oscar ceremony. It could be a fake-out, like when Tom presented in 2002, the year his new ex-wife Nicole Kidman was nominated for Moulin Rouge. Or it could be that the Academy didn?t even ask Tom or his wife (or both) to present.
Perhaps it’s because Valkyrie was a box-office dud or because Mad Money was an even bigger disappointment, but it looks like this year’s Academy Awards ceremony will be TomKat free.
According to a source close to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the Hollywood power couple had been planning on attending the Feb. 22 festivities, despite neither of them getting any love from the Academy.
But then in the last couple days “plans changed,” says the source adding that it’s all a bit of a mystery as to why, since both Tom and Katie are still planning on being in town for the weekend.

Even though I?ve lately been giving into the power of Xenu, I know Tom Cruise?s publicity-seeking ways too well. Even if he?s not attending the Oscar ceremony, he?ll find some way to be apart of the Oscar festivities. Perhaps Tom and Katie plan to party-hop all night? That would be my guess, but maybe Xenu will provide some last-mintue presenting duties so Tom won?t lose face.

Suri Cruise is a princess, in every possible way. Or, at least, she?s always dressed like a princess. Always. One outfit on any given day is most likely more expensive than my entire wardrobe. Now Suri is actually being dressed as a Disney princess - and she gets to meet Cinderella! Cinderella was always one of my favorites of the Disney heroines. I?m so jealous, Suri!
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes took little Suri to Disney World, and for the occasion, Suri was decked out in what looks like a special blue ball-gown and bare feet. Of course. The day was part of Tom?s ?romantic? plans for Katie and Suri, which I have to admit, is reallt sweet. Being the daughter of one of Hollywood’s most well paid actors certainly has its perks.
And toddler Suri Cruise was enjoying the benefits of it during a family trip to Walt Disney World in Florida.
The two-year-old, who was dressed as a princess for the occasion, looked to be having a magical time as she was treated to a very personal meet and greet with her heroes Mickey and Minnie Mouse while her doting parents Tom Cruise, 46, and Katie Holmes, 30, looked on.
The Cruise family skipped the queues at the theme park and spent time with a number of characters including Cinderella - much to Suri?s delight.
The toddler, who has become something of a fashionista despite her tender years, looked adorable in a blue ball gown and bare feet and was all smiles during the trip which was a Valentines day surprise for her and her mother from film star Tom.
Katie opted for a more casual look for the occasion and was sporting a striped top and jeans.
Before the trip Cruise admitted that he had some special treats up his sleeve for his 30-year-old wife and would provide ‘a lot of surprises for her throughout the day.’
“(I like) doing romantic things, such as bringing flowers and surprising her with things,’ the actor told US magazine.
‘I love candlelit evenings with nice music. I feel lucky to have Kate as my wife. She’s an extraordinary woman. She is funny and smart and she likes the same things that I do.’
He also commented on his daughter’s style icon status and admitted that he is ‘flattered’ that the public have become influenced by her wardrobe.
‘It’s very flattering that people want to copy Suri’s clothes and the way she dresses,’ said Tom - who also has two adopted children, Connor and Bella, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. ‘It does feel strange but you have to kind of go ‘it is what it is. Of course we all think our children are incredible and I feel that way about all three of our kids.’

I?ve never been one of those people who buys into Tom Cruise?s stuff or his ?romance?, but I?m tempted to become a believer. First there was that fun-looking Brazilian vacation, and now he took his girls to Disney World! I don?t want to be married to Tom, but I wouldn?t mind having him as a very generous friend. His comeback is complete! I now feel wistful when looking at pictures of Katie Holmes?s life. That means it all worked.

He’s been a huge fan of race cars since his days on the set of “Days of Thunder,” and yesterday (February 15) Tom Cruise was spotted at the Daytona 500 along with his son Connor.
The “Valkyrie” stud looked to be having a marvelous time with his son as they meandered around Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

10 years ago I never thought I would say this, but I rish wish Tom Cruise would put his shirt back on. There is just something wrong with his stomach, it is actually mystifying me and grossing me out at the same.Maybe it looks so because you know he is holding it in for the paparazzi.

Katie Holmes is still pulling this is-she-or-isn’t she pregnant stuff. Two days ago she was photographed in a breezy, white dress with an obvious-looking bump in the baby area. She was also photographed flat-stomached in a bathing suit. Next came Tom Cruise?s Brazilian Valkyrie premiere, where Katie wore a vintage Christian Lacroix dress with an albeit smaller bump. Is it indigestion? I have no idea. Tom must love the rumors and speculation.
Tom did a press conference while in Brazil, and apparently the power of Xenu was with him. He had the journalists eating out of his hand, according to the Associated Press.
Tom Cruise may sometimes confuse his countries, but he’s winning fans among Brazil’s press corps.
A news conference to promote his movie “Valkyrie” turned into something of a fan club meeting when a journalist said he promised his niece he would get a photo with Cruise. The actor immediately obliged.
That prompted another journalist to squeeze under a barrier for a photo. Guards stopped other reporters from doing the same.

He thanked one questioner with the Spanish “gracias” ? though Brazilians speak Portuguese. And he said he enjoys the tango ? the traditional dance of neighboring Argentina.

Brazil loves Tom Cruise. Good for Tom (and Xenu). Valkyrie is a huge hit overseas, and it?s the number one film in the world this week. According to Reuters UK, the film has made more than $38 million overseas so far, making it a pretty big hit for a Tom Cruise film lacking the words ?mission? or ?impossible? in the title. Could Tom have another reason to celebrate? Perhaps the impregnation of a certain ?amazing? woman?
Note by Celebitchy: I’ve seen enough flat-stomached bathing suit photos to convince me that Katie is not pregnant. I also thought she was pregnant around a year ago, but she has a slouch going to compensate for her shorter partner and she also favors loose clothing.

They’ve been enjoying a beautiful Brazilian vacation as of late, and yesterday Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and their daughter Suri were spotted soaking in the sun.
The “Top Gun” stud looked hunky in a blue polo shirt and blue board shorts while his “Mad Money” wife cut loose in a one-shoulder blue bathing suit with shorts and a bandana, and Suri sported a white dress. Earlier in the day, they enjoyed a helicopter ride.
