Always doing their best to help out those in need, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are pledging their support to the many victims of a giant earthquake rocking the island of Haiti on Tuesday (January 12).
The Hollywood power couple released a statement reading: “We are devastated by the news from Haiti. We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.”
Musician Wyclef Jean is spearheading the collection efforts - which follow the 7.0-magnitude earthquake which has left “thousands” who are feared to be dead.
Jean told ET of the situation, “I cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse. The over 2 million people in [capital] Port-au-Prince tonight face catastrophe alone. We must act now.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out last night for a date night in New York. They?ve been in New York for several weeks, as Angelina had about a week of reshoots for her action film Salt. I think the reshoots are over, but the family is still hanging out in New York, much to the joy of the paparazzi, who seem to be getting good shots of them every other day. Last night they got caught by photographers again, and Fame Pictures notes that ?amidst rumors swirling about their unhappy home life, Brad Pitt steps out earlier in the day on January 6, 2010 in NYC, NY with partner Angelina Jolie before taking out the upset looking A list actress for a romantic dinner away from their pack of children in early evening. Despite the gesture the actresses demeanor remained frigid and irate.? Frigid and irate? They look like they?re trying to find their car.
I love Angelina?s dress and boots, by the way. I love when she wears rich jewel tones, which she rarely does. Meanwhile, Brad looked like hell, as usual. The close-ups of him are scary. I will say this - the East Coast has been totally frozen the past few weeks, and they both were probably cold as hell. Put on some coats, people!

After tending to a few business matters, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got all prettied up for an evening out in New York City on Wednesday (January 6).
Leaving their brood of six children at home with tenders, the “Fight Club” stud and his “Wanted” lady headed out for a swanky dinner date in the Big Apple.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, recently dished out quite the pleasant gift to Brangelina’s children Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh.
Each little one got $100,000 in her will, although Pax, Knox, and Vivienne were left out - as Miss Bertrand hadn’t updated her will since 2006 and hence hadn’t included them.

Out running around town, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted taking care of a few errands in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday (January 6).
Free from their parental duties, the “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple smiled and waved at fans as they walked into their Big Apple offices.
Meanwhile, Angelina will soon be coming face to face with Jennifer Aniston - as the duo are both scheduled for red carpet appearances at the Golden Globe Awards.
Taking place on Sunday, January 17th, the annual Tinseltown ceremony will also feature appearances by the likes of Christina Aguilera, Tom Hanks and Neil Patrick Harris.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided to treat their four oldest kids to a Broadway matinee on Sunday. They went to see Mary Poppins, which I hope the kids enjoyed. Personally, Poppins is one of my least favorite musicals or children?s films, although I?ll watch Julie Andrews in anything. I always thought the Jolie-Pitt clan would be more partial to The Sound of Music, but whatever. That was just my theory!
So, anyway, I guess this means that Angelina and Brad and the kids are still in New York, so Angelina still might have a few days more of Salt reshoots, which will be some more great photos. I know it must drive Brad and Angelina crazy, but I love when they?re in New York - there are always more photos of them when they?re staying in New York, probably because the paparazzi are more wily, perhaps?
Pax, Maddox, Shiloh and Zahara all got to go out with their mom and dad in what is turning out to be one of the coldest early winters the East Coast has ever had in my lifetime. Shiloh looks totally over it. And the Huffington Post is identifying Princess Zahara as six years old, but she?ll be turning five years old on January 8 - so happy early birthday to her! Such a big girl! This matinee could be an early birthday present. PopEater says that the theatre?s security had advance knowledge of their appearance, and the security ?ushered? them into the performance. There?s also video of the whole thing at PopEater!

Making for a little quality family time, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, out in New York City on Sunday afternoon (January 3).
The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple each tended to a few of the little ones as they unloaded the family van and headed to a performance of “Mary Poppins” on Broadway.
The sighting comes amidst endless tabloid rumors that Brangelina will be calling it quits - with an alleged insider predicting the breakup will happen sometime during the course of 2010.
“Things are really bad between them,” a source told the National Enquirer. “The fights are getting worse and worse. In my opinion, it’s only a matter of time before they split up for good.”
Nonetheless, Brad and Angie continue to debunk past breakup claims as they lovingly tend to their brood of six kiddies.

While Angelina Jolie was working her ass off doing reshoots on Salt yesterday (and in her downtime reading a book about Afghan girls? schools), Brad Pitt took their two oldest boys out for some play time. Brad brought Pax and Maddox to Dave and Busters, which was the second time (we know of) that Maddox got to go. There are actually photos of Pax smiling as they leave! I?m sure Pax smiles all the time, but he?s the Jolie-Pitt child who looks most terrified of the paparazzi, so it?s nice to see him enjoying himself out in public. Oh, and Brad?s brother Doug and Doug?s son joined them too! It’s a boys’ day out for Brad Pitt and sons Maddox and Pax!
The star, 46, and his younger brother Doug took the two boys to Dave & Buster’s in New York City’s Times Square Wednesday afternoon, UsMagazine.com confirms. (Pitt took Maddox to the same Dave & Busters back in September.)
While at the arcade restaurant, Pitt helped Pax, 6, with the controls on “The Big One,” an oversized crane used to grab stuffed animals. After several attempts, they won a giant stuffed animal.
The group — surrounded by four security guards — then moved on to war game “Razing Storm.” Pax and Maddox, 8, took hold of the life-size guns and shot at the arcade screen for a few minutes before moving on.
While the bearded Pitt watched them play, an eyewitness tells Us he handed out extra Dave & Buster’s game cards to a few children. One boy jumped up and down in excitement when the star gave him the card and patted him on the back, the source says.
When a crowd began gathering, Pitt, Doug and the kids got in an elevator to leave. As the doors closed, one onlooker yelled out, “I love Jennifer Aniston!”
Although Pitt didn’t look amused, his brother Doug laughed out loud, an eyewitness says.
Their afternoon out came one day after Pitt was photographed greeting Angelina Jolie with their two daughters, Shiloh, 3, and Zahara, 5. The clan has been braving the 30-degree temperatures in NYC as Jolie finishes several re-shoots of her action flick Salt.

I?ve always liked Brad?s relationship to his brother Doug. They seem genuinely tight, and it?s cool that Doug and at least part of his family are in New York to spend time with Brad, Angelina and the clan. Oh, and I love the boys? style. Maddox especially looks so hardcore. Take note, Taylor Momsen.

Enjoying a boys-only outing, Brad Pitt stepped out with sons Maddox and Pax for a fun-filled evening in New York City on Wednesday (December 30).
While his lovely partner Angelina Jolie was busy working on the set of “Salt,” the “Fight Club” hunk was all smiles as he took his two tots to Dave & Busters arcade in Times Square.
Once inside the popular family spot, Papa Pitt and the boys indulged in a few video game rounds and a bite to eat - having visited the same establishment on their last visit to NYC, as well.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, reports tell that Brangelina and the brood have been “spotted waiting in line like all the other patrons for hot cocoa and picking up winter gear from street vendors” during their holiday stay in the Big Apple.

These are more photos of Angelina Jolie doing her re-shoots for Salt, as she?s been doing for the past few days. What?s new is that it seems Brad and the two older girls came to visit their mom on set, so we have new photos of Empress Zahara and Shiloh! I love everything about Zahara, from her oversized white ear muffs to her kick-ass (Ugg?) boots. I love that both girls have bomber jackets. I love that even though Zahara is being carried, she still looks like she?s issuing orders to her parents. I love that Shiloh is giving her dad a ?WTF?? look, which I really think is about his ugly beard.
Also, WENN notes on these photos that the Brangelina clan is leaving the set. So? I guess Angelina gets to take that black banged wig home with her? Sure, it looks cheap and the film probably has 50 of them. But still! I bet Angelina has it written into her contract that she gets to keep all of the wigs, whips, riding crops and handcuffs from all of her films. Brad?s going to have fun with that wig tonight! Or, you know, the girls will play with it.
Do you feel it? The Empress grows stronger by the day. Soon we will all live under her benevolent rule. And I, for one, would like to say that I can?t wait!

Making for quite the adorable sighting, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted out with their children, Shiloh and Zahara, as they left the set of “Salt” in Manhattan on Tuesday evening (December 29).
The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple both seemed to be in cheerful moods, with Angelina toting Zahara while Brad tended to little Shiloh.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Angelina has been plugging away on her “Salt” re-shoot duties over the past few days.
Directed by Phillip Noyce, the CIA thriller co-stars Liev Schreiber with a scheduled release date set for July 23, 2010.
