Continuing along with what was an emotional day of activities, Emma Watson attended the afterparty following the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" in London on Thursday night (July 7).
Held at Old Billingsgate Market, the Hermione Granger hottie sashayed into the fete in a comfier, silver and white frock after wearing a floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown to the Trafalgar Square premiere.
Also on hand for the event were Emma's co-stars Rupert Grint, Tom Felton and Bonnie Wright, as well as partygoers such as Pixie Geldof and Eliza Doolittle.
Breaking into tears at the "Harry Potter" finale premiere, Miss Watson told her fans at the red carpet extravaganza, ?It?s overwhelming to try to find the words to say what I want to say, but I have been so privileged to play this role and be a part of these films. Thank you so much for all of your love and support, and for embracing all the work that we did. I?ve had the most amazing 10 years of my life. Thank you so much.?

Here’s Emma Watson at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows wearing whatever the hell this is. Some say it’s an Oscar de la Renta ball gown while others say “Oh, look at the pretty princess. Pretty princess want a cookie? Where’s your prince pretty princess?” Suffice to say, those other people weren’t invited to the premiere.

New photos! Happening right now - the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, in London. The star of the red carpet? Of course, it?s Emma Watson, in her absolutely gigantic Oscar de la Renta ball gown. What?s with all of the princess-styles today? Anne Hathaway and now Emma. Emma is young enough to pull off the princess thing without it going ?sickly sweet? in my opinion. I like the De la Renta - I think it would be better for an awards ceremony, but considering this is the last world premiere of one of the biggest franchises the world has ever seen, it?s totally appropriate to go all out for the red carpet. Honestly, this looks like something Penelope Cruz would attempt, and although I love Penelope, it?s better on a young girl.
What do you think of Emma?s hair? I feel like it?s at an awkward stage. Some will say that it?s super-fashionable and cute and even rocker-chic. It just looks awkward to me, though.
The ?other? star of the red carpet? Helena!!!! God bless her. I love her so much. I?m assuming the dress is Vivienne Westwood, but lord knows who did the fascinator.
And lastly, we have a little Tom Felton, for those of you who get hot for him. I could see it.

She?s no stranger to the spotlight, but Emma Watson admits she?s not so sure about living in Los Angeles, CA.
The ?Harry Potter? babe opened up for the August issue of Harper?s Bazaar UK, telling, "L.A. scares the crap out of me. I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad. I will absolutely lose it."
However, Watson continued on the say that she was excited to move away from London for awhile and relocate to the east coast to attend Brown University back in 2009.
She told, "I felt suddenly very claustrophobic. I thought, 'I can't stay [in England]. I won't be able to concentrate. I won't be left alone.'"

Emma Watson is the cover girl for Harper?s Bazaar UK, for the August issue. Ah, to be just the right age to cover both Seventeen and a major style magazine in the same month. I have to say - I actually might prefer Emma?s wholesome Seventeen photo shoot to this mess. Some of the images are striking, although the white, Vaseline-smeared pics kind of look like ads for yeast infection cures. Beyond that, I feel I must disregard the entire shoot because of THE WIG OF DOOM:
For goodness sake! The girl already has a Justin Bieber problem! The problem being: in a certain light, with a certain hairstyle, she looks just like Justin Bieber. Why would you put a dark Justin Bieber wig on her?!?
Anyway, there aren?t many interview excerpts thus far, but Emma does change her story yet again about dropping out of Brown. Here you go:
Emma on why she left Brown University: ‘Leaving Brown had nothing to do with bullying, as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life. Like a lot of other students at Brown, I might spend my third year abroad.’
Why she didn?t and WON?T choose a British university: Although Watson is still musing over where to complete her studies, it appears her native England is unlikely to be an option. When asked why she didn’t originally chose an English university, Watson explained: ‘I felt suddenly very claustrophobic…I thought, “I can?t stay here, I won?t be able to concentrate, I won?t be left alone.”‘
Emma takes acting classes: ‘My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, “I can?t do it, I just can?t do it.” I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing ? and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it?s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn?t come naturally at all.’
On not wanting to be in Hollywood: ‘LA scares the crap out of me. I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.’
[From The Mail]
So much for just taking a semester off to work. So much for simply leaving Brown. So much for transferring to a university close to home. The new excuse is that she *might* want to study abroad ?like other students at Brown.? But she dropped out? Sure. Studying abroad is great, and taking a semester off? well, it happens. But it just feels like she?s throwing excuses out there because she doesn?t want to take the heat for dropping out of college to party and model.
As for her remarks on LA? sure. But even though she?s not living in LA, she seems to talk a lot about her appearance and how people react to her appearance, right? She obsesses about appearances too - so part of that is on her.

Emma Watson is the cover girl for the August issue of Seventeen. In the cover shot, some brilliant makeup/hair person worked magic on Emma?s too-intense eyebrows, and now I feel like I?m actually looking at her little elf face without being attacked by BROWS. I guess Emma is on the cover because of Harry Potter, right? Sure. The interview is nice enough - she?s not going on and on about how hard it is being so famous and so beautiful, and she mostly sounds like a young woman who is still figuring junk out. Here are some highlights:
Emma on relationships and whether she?s a good ?game player?: ?No! I?m a terrible game player. I?m so impatient ? it?s one of my worst traits! If I want to see someone, I want to see them, and if I don?t, then I don?t. My friends are always telling me I have to play hard to get because I?ll pretty much say to a guy, ?I like you ? let?s go hang out.? But my friends are like, ?You can?t do that! You have to string this guy along.? And I?m just like, ?No! I won?t! I just want to go on the date! It?s a nightmare ? I definitely haven?t figured it out yet.?
On which Harry Potter costar she had a crush on: ?For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it ? we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that?s cool.?
Celebrity crushes: ?I?ve never understood having crushes on people who you don?t know in real life. I only crush on people I meet. I mean, I can appreciate that someone is good-looking, obviously, but I don?t intend to fantasize about people I don?t know!?
Avoiding the color black, style-wise: ?I try to avoid wearing black because sometimes it?s the easy option. But I?m young, so it?s nice to be able to play with color and not just wear black all the time. I can save that for when I?m older.?
Exercise: ?I dance a lot and I run and do yoga and play field hockey and tennis. I like to be active. I don?t always have time for that stuff, but I do always feel better afterward.?
Friends for life: ?I still have friends from primary school. And my two best girlfriends are from secondary school. I don?t have to explain anything to them. I don?t have to apologize for anything. They know. There?s no judgment in any way.?
Studying abroad?? ?Most of my friends are doing their third year abroad so I might do my third year abroad as well, and then come back for my last year. I hope I could do that.?
[From Seventeen]
Tom Felton? He?s ?Draco? right? He?s kind of white-blonde and sweet, but bland? Out of all of the dudes she?s worked with, she got the hots for him?!? Weird. Meanwhile, I?m nursing two completely inappropriate crushes on both Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson, both of whom seem way more interesting and sexy to me. But Emma is young - soon enough, she?ll discover that the occasional bad boy is good for the soul. I pray that she?s not around Gerard Butler when that happens. Ew? I just grossed myself out with the thought of Emma being Butler?d. Nasty.
By the way, are you Potter-heads excited about the last movie? I?m not into the series, and I think CB stopped after a few books/movies, so our coverage of it has been less than breathless. My apologies. Here?s a trailer for it. It made me goosebumpy and I don?t even know what?s happening. (Mostly it?s just because Ralph Fiennes makes me goosebumpy.)
