She’s always been interested in using her celebrity for the benefit of others, and last night Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted at the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s ‘Unforgettable Evening.’
The “Shakespeare in Love” hottie was looking absolutely gorgeous as she arrived at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, sporting a white dress with a matching blazer and a pair of Pink and yellow feathered heels as she mingled with guests including Courteney Cox and Rita Wilson.

According to the National Enquirer and multiple gossip sites, Courtney Cox and David Arquette are ?desperate? for another child, whether by IVF or adoption. Courtney gave birth to daughter CoCo in 2004, and it seems Courtney is feeling broody for another set of little feet to join the Cox-Arquette clan.
Courteney Cox is reportedly planning on adopting with husband David Arquette in a bid to save their marriage. The couple - who recently spent the holidays with Jennifer Aniston in Mexico - are said to be eager to adopt after several failed attempts conceive a second child.
A source tells the National Enquirer, “David wants a sibling for Coco, but Courteney’s reached a point where she feels it’s hopeless to keep trying to get pregnant.
“They love each other very much, but with Courteney’s intense work schedule and her resisting adoption, David started acting out, going out nights without her.
“But now that Courteney’s given the Okay to adopting a brother or sister for Coco, David has agreed to scale back on nights out and be more accommodating to Jennifer Aniston when she’s on the scene. “It’s a win-win scenario for Courteney and David.”
Courteney struggled to fall pregnant before she and David finally concieved four-year-old Coco.

If they want to go for IVF or adoption, it makes no difference to me. I like celebrity gossip as much as the next person, but I draw the line at judging other women?s reproductive systems. Courtney has always been vocal about her difficulties in conceiving- she and David tried for years before she got pregnant with Coco. I would completely understand how Courtney wouldn?t want to go on that merry-go-round of fertility treatments, hormones, etc with IVF. So I wouldn?t be surprised if they do end up adopting. The only thing I find slightly amusing about this whole report is how Jennifer Aniston?s well-being is somehow a factor in the Cox-Arquette family planning. *zipping mouth about that one*

The eighth season of Scrubs will premiere next week, moved from NBC over to ABC. There were many questions as to whether Scrubs would even have an eighth season, and the mid-season ABC move isn?t striking a lot of fans as the best idea. Judging from the commercials running on ABC, it seems like the once-great series is running on fumes. Joining the cast for this 18-episode mini-season is Courtney Cox as the new, crazy (somewhat waxy-looking) Chief of Medicine. Zach Braff, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes and Sarah Chalke have all returned but it seems like at least one of them might be itching to move on to other projects.
One never knows what the show’s irrepressible creator Bill Lawrence might have up his sleeve, and to be sure he’s pulled off quite a feat to land this 18-episode stay of execution. Of course, the fact that “Scrubs” is produced by ABC Studios might have had a little something to do with it. No matter the reason, it’s pretty terrific to see the return of a half-hour this charmingly performed and superbly written, particularly when we’re suffering such a primetime network comedy shortage.
The show hits the ground in midseason form after eight months and one change of venue, integrating a new crop of interns with seamless aplomb and again demonstrating how to fuse dramatic elements into a sitcom without breaking a sweat.
It rolls onto ABC with a double-barreled (a.ka. a two-episode) premiere assault. First up is an episode that introduces the heartless and unethical Dr. Maddox, played by none other than new recurring player Courteney Cox (who surely knows her way around a comedy series and turns in sharply over-the-top work here). She’s surrounded by the usual cast of returning “Scrubs” players led by the underrated Zach Braff along with Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, the incomparable John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes — long one of TV’s most talented and colorful casts. The opening installment sputters a bit before finding a rhythm in Episode 2 that guest stars Glynn Turman as a dying patient coming to terms with his mortality.
What remains great about “Scrubs” is its politically incorrect tone, one that’s so smooth the offending line is already in the rear-view mirror before you have a chance to work up a good dose of outrage. While universal health care may still be a political pipe dream, laughter remains a medicine we can afford. And “Scrubs” supplies plenty of that without demanding so much as a co-pay.

When Scrubs is good, it?s very, very good. When it?s bad… well, it gets moved to ABC as a mid-season replacement. One of my peeves is when a good television show doesn?t know how to bow out with grace. I feel for the writers and the producers - I think getting bumped from NBC was probably a huge disappointment, and they?re probably just trying to tie up the plot lines for the die-hard fans. I hope that after this mini-season, all the actors involved get good projects, especially Donald Faison, who was always my favorite.

Clad in a sexy orange bikini, Jennifer Aniston teamed up with her gal pals for a Mexican holiday over the New Year’s.
Joined by her former “Friends” co-star Courteney Cox, as well as Sheryl Crow and Laura Dern, the four lovely ladies showed off their bikini bodies while hitting the beach in Cabo San Lucas on Friday (January 2).

Courtney Cox has given an interview, promoting nothing in particular, although her new show Cougar Town is currently in production. She?s given some great sound bites about her personal life to the Daily Mail.
On her marriage:
Courteney is one of the few celebrities I?ve met who is candid about her relationship, admitting their nine-year marriage has had its rocky patches. ?Is marriage for ever? I think you get married with the intention that it will be, but who knows?
‘I get shocked by people getting divorced all the time, that?s why I choose to work on it. Therapy helps us,? she says, twirling her fingers around a long lock of hair. ?It?s so easy to grow apart; marriage takes work. I suppose you can work it out by talking to each other ? I would just prefer to have a referee, it reminds us why we?re together.?
Courteney?s own parents divorced when she was a child. ?Before my dad died, he said one of his big regrets was that he hadn?t worked on their marriage enough. I don?t know what the future?s going to hold, but divorce isn?t really an option.?
Isn?t it difficult working together? ?It seems like it would be the worst thing in the world but we manage to handle it really well. We argue, but never about work. We love being together.?
On Jennifer Aniston:
What makes her friendship with Jennifer Aniston so enduring? ?We?ve known each other nearly 15 years now, we grew up together emotionally. I lost my father, Jen got divorced, and I had a baby. We?ve been through huge life changes together. I can be myself around her.
‘We never judge each other, we support each other, but we?re honest with each other too. I feel lucky to have her.?
Courteney won?t comment on her friend?s love life. ?I want for Jen whatever she wants; she?s really happy at the moment, so I don?t have to worry about her.?
On beauty:
Courteney is even willing to put the record straight on internet rumours about plastic surgery. Now 44, she looks younger, but there are lines around the eyes. ?I?ve done Botox,? she admits, ?and there were times when I thought, ?That was nice?, but I had one bad experience when I wasn?t able to move my face for two or three months.?
Will she do it again? ?I don?t know,? is her candid reply. ?I?m sure I?ll be tempted when I get older, but you see too many people who look really strange.?
She adds that David, who?s seven years younger, doesn?t think she needs any improvement. ?He loves the ageing process; he thinks it?s beautiful. Right now, I don?t do Botox ? or anything except this,? she says, pointing to a cabinet of creams and serums by Kinerase, the American skincare company for which she?s spokesperson.
On parenthood:
?I can?t imagine life without a child; I don?t even remember what it was like four years ago. CoCo is everything to me,? she says.
?We did a lot of in vitro fertilisation, and it was tough. But we?d waited a few years before trying, and in retrospect I would say: don?t wait as long as I did, especially if you want more than one child.?

Courtney has said in the past that she has done botox and been unsatisfied with the results, feeling that as an actress she needs to be able to move her face. Nicole Kidman did not get that memo.
Courtney also says that she?d love another child, but if it ?doesn?t work?, she?ll adopt. She adds that while she wants to buy one really great present for Coco, David ‘wants to buy her 900 presents’. Usually David gets his way. This is how it often happens in our house, where we try to keep Christmas and birthdays low key but you just can’t resist those cute toys.
Courtney to me always seems like the most successful of the Friends stars, because although Jennifer Aniston?s movies earn good box office, I feel like her personal life has distracted from her success. Courtney seems to have walked away from Friends and found a great life with her family if not necessarily with her work. She also looks fabulous for 44, cosmetically enhanced or not.
