Kate Winslet looked like she was having an awesome time on Italian TV show the “Chiambretti Wednesday Show.” She joked around with the little orange and blue host, and even had the guy sit on her lap at one point. Kate is promoting the 3D re-release of Titanic, which I honestly assumed was out and gone already. (I was hoping, I think.) It’s coming out on April 4, though. I remember exactly when I saw Titanic in the theater in 1997, and I remember the tween girls talking excitedly around me when then-hot Leonardo DiCaprio was on screen. I’m not sure I’ll see it again in 3D, sometimes 3D films give me a headache and I would rather watch 2D movies for cheaper. If a friend wants to go with me I might though. Will you see it?
So this begs the other question that often comes to mind about Kate – what has she had done plastic surgery and injectable-wise, if anything? If you would have asked me what year it was that Kate Winslet spoke out against plastic surgery and I didn’t look it up I would have said “2009? and made a joke about how she’s obviously changed her stance on it. I looked it up, and Kate spoke out against plastic surgery in August, 2011, just eight months ago.
A lot of you firmly believe that Kate is all natural, and she could be. Her skin looks radiant and her eyes look somewhat different to me, like wider or something. She does have natural lines but there’s something different about her lately. Maybe it’s just because she’s so pretty and her face has thinned out.
I’ve been looking into “non-invasive” procedures that don’t involve Botox or fillers. One of the things that interests me is laser skin resurfacing, which can supposedly significantly reduce lines, make eyes wider-looking and make your face look much younger overall without looking noticeably “worked on.” (Yesterday I was looking up costs and watching YouTube videos of it. It looks painful, and I’m chickensh*t about that, but it might be worth it.) There are also chemical peels, which could achieve similar results from what I understand. (Remember how Kate was looking much more “refreshed” last year?) So I’m wondering, is this why Kate Winslet looks slightly different but still natural, and could I benefit from this too? (Strokes chin and squints thoughtfully.) I would have said the same thing about Sandra Bullock a few months ago too, (basically get me what she’s having in the same amounts) but fast forward to now and she’s just gone too far, poor lady.
Here’s the trailer for Titanic 3D.

Enjoying her time in Milan, Italy, Kate Winslet was seen attending the ?Chiambretti Wednesday Show? this evening (March 6).
Sporting an all-black ensemble, the ?Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? actress looked beautiful as she posed for the paparazzi.
Kate has been busy promoting the re-release of her classic film ?Titanic,? which has been given the 3D treatment this time around.
She shared, "A whole new generation is going to get to experience the film. It's very exciting that I can actually sit with them [11-year-old Mia and 8-year-old Joe] -- together -- and we can all watch it in a movie theater. That is going to be quite amazing, actually."
However, when she first got a sneak peek of the 3D flick, it was a bit troubling for her. "I was literally like, 'Oh my God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that's me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it f-cking stop!'"

| Kate Winslet in metallic Jenny Packham at the Cesars: lovely or budget? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I feel as if Kate Winslet?s super-fans will issue a fatwa against me if I even utter one less-than-glowing word about her at any moment. Luckily for them, I don?t have any big problems with Kate?s appearance last night at the Cesar Awards in France. The Cesars are like the French Oscars, and I always forget that the Cesars are held really close to the Oscars too. Kate wore this Jenny Packham gown that makes her look like she got a boob job – which I?m sure she hasn?t. I?m just saying, the cut of the gown is good enough where I?m sure some French women were like, ?Girl, get out of here with your bolt-ons!? (If someone could translate that into French, I would be much obliged.) The one bad thing about the dress is that it looked really, really heavy. It?s not beading, though – those are sequins. So maybe it?s not that heavy. As for Kate?s face? sigh? I?m not even going to start.
Kate was at the Cesars because she was given an honorary career-achievement award. In previous years, honorary Cesars have been given to Quentin Tarantino, Meryl Streep, Spike Lee, Jean-Luc Godard and Ingrid Bergman, to name just a few. So Kate?s in good company there, although I hate it when women in their 30s receive ?lifetime achievement? awards. Winslet still has decades left in her career, y?all. Give it to her when she?s in her 60s.
Oh, and Kate brought her boyfriend/fianc (?) as her date. Ned Rocknroll got all dressed up to be Kate?s escort. Ugh. This man/boy. He?s like the British equivalent of facially-challenged Casper Smart. I don?t even think Ned?s attractive in the least. I?m also including a photo of Ned & Kate?s arrival in Paris. He just travels with her, does whatever she wants. I?m guessing that she?s paying for everything too – don?t even start with ?his family is rich!? His family IS rich. He is not. He married rich, he?s divorcing rich, and he?s jumping-off rich. He?s a golddigging man-child with a sketchy hairline.

Sigh? I miss Kate Winslet?s old face, I really do. I saw this Ladies Home Journal cover staring out at me at the gym, and I was like, ?Damn it, Kate! STOP.? In my opinion, it was a really bad eye job that is still ?settling in.? Plus Botox. Plus lies. Anyway, she covers the March issue of LHJ? for some reason?? Is she promoting a new project or is she just promoting the 3D re-release of Titanic? Who knows. In the LHJ interview, she talks about her charity work, but in another new interview, she discussed the Titanic 3D experience:
On the Titanic re-release: “A whole new generation is going to get to experience the film. It’s very exciting that I can actually sit with them — together — and we can all watch it in a movie theater. That is going to be quite amazing, actually.” Winslet says she’s already seen 17 minutes of 3-D footage, which she deems “extraordinary.”
Watching her old self (and her old face): “I was literally like, ‘Oh my God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that’s me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it f-cking stop!’”
She doesn?t think she was a good actress back then: While her costar Leonardo DiCaprio “looks so young and so skinny,” in the 1997 blockbuster, Winslet, 36, admits she’s “slightly freaked out” about seeing her 21-year-old self onscreen again. “I’m sure I wasn’t really a very good actress. Seriously, we are talking about something that happened 15 years ago. It is a very long time ago. I’ve learned so much, and I’ve changed as a person so much since then. It is really quite weird. Can you imagine anything stranger? It’s going to be like famous all over again, Titanic all over again!”
Her Golden Hat Foundation, which raises money/awareness about autism. ?[The biggest misunderstanding is] that they are not capable of understanding anything, that they are completely locked in their own worlds and aren?t paying attention to anything around them or that they are disinterested. Even those closest to them sometimes believe that. And so often that proves not to be the case.?
Teaching her kids about giving back: ?They get a little allowance every week, and they are given an opportunity to match what we put in the family charity box each week. They always put in part of their allowance, so I think their awareness of giving is present.?
[From Celebrity Chatta & Us Weekly]
I?m not sure what I think about Kate disrespecting her old films like that – she got her first Oscar nomination for my favorite film of hers, Sense & Sensibility, and she was only, like, 19 or 20 years old then. And you know what? I think she might have even been a better actress back then. When was the last time you saw a current Kate Winslet film and walked out thinking ?Kate Winslet is awesome, she nailed that.? Don?t say The Reader. While she was fine in The Reader (not Oscar-worthy, but fine), that movie was terrible. What else do you have? Little Children? Maybe. But I tend to think Kate will always be beloved as an actress because of her early roles in S&S and Titanic. She was simply a more ?natural? actress back then. She was fresh and different and interesting to watch. Not so much any more.

Held as part of the New York Fashion Week festivities, the exhibition opening night gala for 'Impact: 50 Years of the CFDA' was the place to be in New York City on Thursday night (February 9).
Held at The Fashion Institute of Technology, stars such as Kate Winslet, Rachel Roy and Catherine Malandrino shuffled inside to get an early preview of the Council of Fashion Designers of America creation.
As for what's on display, the exhibit was put together as the CFDA asked all members - which includes numerous top name designers and celebrities - to craft personal "impact statements" and submit outfits and pictures representing their unique style.
Along with the exhibit, the CFDA milestone has also been marked with a multimedia display and a companion book featuring the works of 450 fashion designers including Diane von Furstenberg.
In the literary offering, Diane penned, "There is something magical about the way this group was founded back in 1962, in a small room off of Seventh Avenue. It was the brain trust of 20 passionate designers who were motivated to create a safe haven for the members of their community. They sought to protect and promote their own. Nearly half a century later, through triumphs and failures, with businesses made and broken, that small assemblage has evolved into a modern family of over 400 members."

| Kate Winslet's latest St. John's ad campaign: less bitchfaced, more Botoxy' | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kate Winslet was named as the new ?(Botox)face? of St. John?s last year. Her first batch of ads were memorable, in my mind, because Kate looked seriously pissed off in every shot, and St. John?s ad people must have found it difficult to Photoshop-out the ?bitchface.? Anyway, these are some new ads from the St. John?s Spring 2012 campaign. We have two print ads and a video (which I?ve included below). The ad campaign was shot by Craig McDean, who does a lot of work for W Magazine, often creating airy, light-soaked images. I like the idea of this ad campaign – a woman in her 30s who isn?t a size zero, wearing comfortable, accessible, pretty business-wear. But somehow, the execution is ?off? somehow. Maybe it?s because of whatever is happening to Kate?s face? Should we talk about Kate?s face? Um. You know my thoughts on it. Bitch is jacked to high heaven. Feel free to disagree.
In the video, Kate says: “This collection does feel very light and very fresh. What I love too is the lines are a lot more relaxed, and yet at the same time they still give shape, so you get those lovely feminine curves, which to me are very, very important. You don’t have to be a size 2 or even a size 4 to be able to wear these garments because they fall so well, they’re cut for women with a shape, and of course I love that. That’s me all over.”

Since splitting with Sam Mendes, Kate Winslet has been leaving a trail of half-eaten hearts. Her most recent ex, Louis Dowler, was so heart broken, he went to Radar Online and cried his little model eyes out.
According to her recent ex, model Louis Dowler, he was stunned when she dumped him, and still can?t get over the loss. ?I don?t think Kate behaved well and it is still very raw for me,? Dowler told the Daily Mail about his breakup with the 35-year-old actress. ?I was in love with her and you can?t switch that off over night,? he said.
Dowler shared that the two went on what should have been a romantic trip to Sir Richard Branson?s luxurious Necker Island, but after leaving the vacation Kate promptly ended the relationship.
?I?m not sure Kate treated me well,? Dowler said. He rehashed the relationship, detailing the intimate events they shared. ?Kate came home with me to Cornwall and we just hung out together. She met my parents and family.? Going on to claim: ?I don?t want to go into details but it wasn?t a straightforward break-up. I?m a laid-back guy, so I am not walking around with a long face ? but I do still hold a torch for her.? Radar Online
Hey, Dowler, you ever thought that Kate dumped you because you were a pathetic whiny b*tch who lept at the first opportunity to make some money off the relationship? If I was Kate, I’d have dumped you too. There’s only room for one pu**y in a relationship.

Because male models are complete pussies, Kate Winslet’s model ex-boyfriend Louis Dowler has gone crying to the British tabloids about how Kate broke his heart when she ended their relationship. Radar Online says:
?I don?t think Kate behaved well and it is still very raw for me,? Dowler [said] about his breakup with the 35-year-old actress.
?I was in love with her and you can?t switch that off over night.”
Dowler shared that the two went on a romantic trip to Necker Island, but after leaving the vacation Kate promptly ended the relationship, [adding], “I don?t want to go into details but it wasn?t a straightforward break-up… I?m a laid-back guy, so I am not walking around with a long face ? but I do still hold a torch for her.?
Meanwhile, Kate has rebounded with Richard Branson?s nephew, Abel Smith, who split with his wife Eliza Pearson, after just 20 months of marriage.
How could you not know that Kate Winslet was a total man-eater? Just look at her. She’s dressed like a Bizarro black widow, for chrissakes. Does she need claws and fangs, too?

Back in September, Kate Winslet seemed to become instantly enamored with Richard Branson?s nephew, Ned RocknRoll. Ned was married at the time, but likely estranged from his (rich) wife. Kate was actually ?with? Louis Dowler at the time too – Kate and Louis had been on and off for more than a year, but were seemingly loved up just a few weeks before Kate and Ned made their debut as a couple. It seems more and more like Kate and Ned had that ?thunderbolt? moment and they both dumped their partners very quickly. Now Louis Dowler is speaking out about how brutally Kate treated him, although he doesn?t really go into details or a specific timeline. It?s interesting though:
Nearly three months after he was unceremoniously dumped by Kate Winslet when she took up with Richard Branson?s party-loving nephew, her former love is still coming to terms with the break-up ? and the way he was so brutally discarded.
Speaking publicly for the first time since he was abandoned by the Oscar-winning actress, male model Louis Dowler, 35, says: ?I don?t think Kate behaved well and it is still very raw for me.?
Famous for her own emotional performances at award ceremonies, Kate, 35, left Dowler close to tears after they went on what should have been a romantic trip to Branson?s Caribbean hideaway on Necker Island this summer. Instead, it was a disaster. While Kate was hailed a hero for rescuing Sir Richard?s mother, Eve, from the fire which engulfed the luxurious retreat, Louis was devastated when the trip ended with the actress flying to New York with Ned Abel Smith.
?I was in love with her and you can?t switch that off overnight,? Dowler tells me. ?I?m not sure Kate treated me well.?
For his part Abel Smith, who eccentrically changed his name by deed poll some years ago to Ned RocknRoll, subsequently informed his wife, Eliza Pearson, 23, the sweet-natured daughter of multi-millionaire Viscount Cowdray, that he had fallen for the Titantic star.
While Eliza took it on the chin, Louis is still struggling with what happened.
?Kate came home with me to Cornwall and we just hung out together. She met my parents and family,? he says. ?I thought we were inseparable. I certainly haven?t found anyone else since.?
The Burberry model says that at first he was blissfully happy with Kate when they met after her split from film director husband Sam Mendes, spending time at her 2.5?million New York apartment.
Louis, who was at a party for the Omega boutique at the new Westfield shopping centre in East London, adds: ?I don?t want to go into details but it wasn?t a straightforward break-up. I?m a laid-back guy, so I am not walking around with a long face ? but I do still hold a torch for her.?
[From The Mail]
Apparently Louis didn?t know what I knew just from looking at photos – that Kate just wanted to be with some pretty and uncomplicated, a “just-for-now dong” and when someone ?better? came along, she was going to dump Louis. Poor Louis, though. I thought he was a dolt (and he really might be), but he?s a dolt with a broken heart. Winslet is such a heartbreaker!

| Kate Winslet's ex-husband really is boning the alleged other woman, Rebecca Hall | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
I know most people won?t give a crap about this story, but I?m feeling a moment of gossip vindication! In March of 2010, Kate Winslet and her director husband/baby-daddy Sam Mendes announced their split. At first, sources were mealy-mouthed about the ?reasons? for the split – stuff about how Sam and Kate?s marriage suffered after they worked together, and that Sam was ?bored? in the marriage, blah, blah, blah. And then some of the British tabloids began saying that The Real Reason was Sam?s ongoing friendship/relationship with Rebecca Hall, a young actress who is probably best known to American audiences for her part in The Town. Here?s a photo of Hall:
Sam and Rebecca were working together when Sam and Kate Winslet broke up, and there were rumors of an affair. Rumors that Rebecca offered a non-denial denial for when they came up during The Town?s promotion. Time passed and I didn?t really hear anything, so I kind of thought my initial instinct – that Winslet left her philandering husband – was not on target. But it was on target. Rebecca and Sam have been seeing each other this whole time:
She’s the beautiful English actress who was blamed for the breakdown of Kate Winslet?s marriage to film director Sam Mendes. Now, 18 months after being implicated as the ?other woman?, it has been revealed that Rebecca Hall, daughter of veteran theatre director Sir Peter Hall, is dating the Oscar-winning film director.
A spokesman for Mendes last night confirmed he was romantically involved with Miss Hall, 29, saying: ?It?s true they are in a relationship.?
A source close to the star added: ?They are dating and have been for some time. I can?t put an exact date on it, but certainly nothing happened until after Sam?s marriage was over.?
The couple are believed to be spending time together in London where Mendes, 46, is directing the new James Bond film Skyfall. News of their relationship comes 18 months after Miss Hall was blamed for the collapse of Mendes? six-year marriage to Titanic actress Miss Winslet.
At the time it was claimed Miss Winslet ended the marriage after growing tired of her husband?s closeness to Cambridge-educated Miss Hall, whose father Sir Peter founded the Royal Shakespeare Company. But sources close to Mendes, who has an eight-year-old son Joe with his ex-wife, insisted the couple were nothing more than friends.
Miss Hall first met Mendes ? who won an Oscar for his 1999 debut film American Beauty ? on the set of her film, Starter For 10, where he was executive producer. He later cast her in two of his plays, a move that was said to have infuriated Miss Winslet. A spokesman for Miss Hall was unavailable for comment.
[From The Mail]
Shady. Totally shady. Of course, it?s totally possible that Sam and Rebecca were ?just friends? while Sam was a married man and that once he found himself single, his relationship with Rebecca progressed romantically. But in my mind, it?s far more likely that Sam was either having an emotional or physical affair with Hall, and Kate simply had enough. I?m also saying the ?affair? possibility is more likely because Hall looks so much like Rachel Weisz, who Sam was dating before Kate (Kate reportedly ?stole? Sam from Weisz).
