In yesterday?s post about Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron and the trailer for Prometheus (which is SO awesome), I only came at them from one direction: the direction of the Fassdong. It didn?t occur to me until hours later that Michael is actually very much Charlize Theron?s type. She dated a charming Irishman (Stuart Townsend) for the better part of a decade. She obviously liked very fair-skinned, boyish men. Charlize is hot for Fassy. I?ve decided it. As for whether Fassy is hot for Charlize? I don?t know. He seems to only go for black, Asian or mixed-race girls, but I would imagine that most men would like to try out Charlize and her insane legs. We?ll come back to this.
In my coverage of the Human Rights Campaign gala in LA, I somehow completely missed that Fassy was also at the event. He presented Charlize with her Ally for Equality Award. I?m including photos of Fassy up at the podium, drinking something (Scotch?) and presumably toasting his girl. And when Charlize accepted her award, she made reference to The Fassdong. You know all of the HRC people loved that. Seriously.
And the award for best male member in a supporting role goes to ? Michael Fassbender!
That’s according to Charlize Theron, who jokingly saluted her Prometheus costar’s anatomy on Saturday in reference to his several scenes of full-frontal nudity in Shame last year.
“Your penis was a revelation. I’m available to work with it any time,” the new mom, 36, said at the Human Rights Campaign gala in Los Angeles, where she was honored with the Ally For Equality award, the L.A. Times reports.
“I have to say that I was truly impressed that you chose to play it big,” she joked to Fassbender, 34, who later toasted the crowd himself from the podium. “Most other actors would have gone small, trust me. I know because I’ve worked with them.”
Fassbender’s manhood has been a popular subject ever since Shame was released. George Clooney even made an off-color joke about it in his Golden Globes acceptance speech after winning best actor, for which Fassbender was also nominated. Clooney thanked Fassbender “for taking over the frontal nudity responsibility that I had,” then wisecracked that the Shame star could play golf “with your hands behind your back.”

These are even more photos from WonderCon! Not only did Charlize Theron get to sit next to (and flirt with) Michael Fassbender for Prometheus, she also promoted Snow White & the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart. Last year, Kristen and Charlize were sent out to do some early SWATH promotion at Comic-Con, and Kristen was criticized by some major outlets for her ?affected emo shtick? – like, she couldn?t even sit in a chair normally, and she has all of those nervous tics and such. I?m happy to say that in these photos, K-Stew?s nervousness (or her ?affected emo shtick?) has gotten much, much better. She sitting in a chair normally! She doesn?t look like she?s about to cry from the sheer ANGST of answering questions. Good for her. I wonder if she finally invested in a public-speaking coach? Also: Kristen is wearing a shirt belonging to Sparkles. For realz!
During the panel discussion (which didn?t seem to involve Chris Hemsworth), Kristen discussed her terror at all of the stunt work she had to do, and Charlize talked about her baby a little bit:
She is known to her legion of Twilight fans as the sweet-natured teenager Bella Swan. But Kristen Stewart has revealed she prefers playing darker characters, and likes to use swear words, as she promoted her forthcoming movie Snow White and the Huntsmen in California today.
The actress used a particularly hard-hitting word to explain the character trait that is driving her career choices. The 21-year-old actress said: ‘It’s because I’m a bitch.’
Her comment was the highlight of a rather fruity question and answer session about the film at the WonderCon convention in Anaheim. But she also said she was excited about the film’s more mature characterisation of the familiar fairy tale favourite, saying: ‘Everything I wanted Snow White to be is there and that’s really rare. And the Los Angeles born star said she had to put herself through the mill to play the aggressive militaristic imagining of Snow White.
She said: ‘I hurt myself a lot. I got to jump off cliffs and ride horses. And that terrified me. I didn’t like that.’
Kristen’s co-star Charlize Theron, 36, was also in foulmouthed form as they tried to live up to the movie’s more adult demographic.
Explaining why she wanted to play the Evil Queen, she said: ‘Everyone has an idea of her. And there’s something nice about f***ing with that idea.’
When told that she plays ?evil? really well, Charlize replied: ?That?s because I?m a bitch?.Picasso had his blue period, and this is my bitch period.?
It was a big week for Charlize, for as well as attending WonderCon, she also revealed she had adopted a baby boy called Jackson, who is now four-months-old. The South African stunner told Ryan Searest that ‘everyone has been so lovely’, ‘nice’ and ‘amazing,’ on his radio show last week.

Yes, Charlize is in a ?bitch period?. It?s called “her career?. She?s good at playing bitches – there?s no shame in that. Although I do think she might be actively trying to shake up her (bitchy) image a bit with her new baby, Jackson. Charlize also called into Ryan Seacrest?s radio show last week to talk about the baby – you can read some of it here. She?s learning about swaddling.
Also – from everything I?ve seen, Charlize and Kristen are really nice to each other. They consistently say nice things about each other in the press, and they seemed to work well together. So even though Charlize looks kind of ?over it? in these photos, I don?t think that has anything to do with Kristen.

Fresh off of a pair of panel appearances at WonderCon, Charlize Theron got glammed up before arriving for The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Los Angeles Gala on Saturday night (March 17).
The Oscar-winning actress worked the arrivals area in an elegant black Acne frock as she joined "Hardball" host Chris Matthews and Marriott International, Inc. Executive VP Kathleen Matthews as the ceremony's Ally for Equality Award winners.
With the swanky fete being hosted by Chelsea Handler, the night also included special appearances by "True Blood" stud Joe Manganiello and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa .
As for the organization, The Human Rights Campaign envisions "an America where gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of the American family at home, at work and in every community."
On a sidenote, during Charlize's appearance at WonderCon earlier in the day she was asked about her experience as a parent to newly adopted son Jackson, of which she told ET that it is "overwhelmingly incredible."

Charlize Theron became a mother the smart way this month, by letting someone else get the stretch marks and the pelvic floor annihilation and the nipples the size of pie pans. People Magazine says:
The actress, 36, “has adopted a child,” her rep says in a statement. “She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson.”
No further details about her new addition were released.
Here’s my dilemma. I like Charlize Theron a lot. And I like babies. I could say something pointlessly mean, but then I wouldn’t be adhering to my authentic self, and ultimately the quality of my work would suffer. Hypothetically speaking, of course, if there were any actual quality to my work at all.

A rep for Charlize Theron confirms to PEOPLE that “She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson.” Which she adopted and not secretly gave birth to. Whew. *Wipes sweat off brow* I was worried I’d have to move and change my name again.

It?s an exciting time in the life of Charlize Theron, as she has just added a new title to her credit- Mother!
The ?Italian Job? actress has adopted a son named Jackson, according to a statement released by her spokesperson.
The rep confirmed that Charlize is the ?proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson,? and everyone is doing quite well.

Well, this will humanize her. I don’t think that’s why Charlize Theron has adopted a child, but it certainly helps, right? And don’t even tell me that wasn’t one of the first things you thought of too. “Oh, maybe she’s not like everyone claims, now she’s a mom!” Us Weekly confirms through Charlize’s rep that Charlize has adopted a baby boy named Jackson.
Surprise! Charlize Theron is now a mom!
A rep for the Oscar-winning actress, 36, tells Us Weekly in a Wednesday statement: “Charlize Theron has adopted a child. She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson.”
According to a source close to the single Young Adult star, little Jackson was born in the United States, and is African-American. Jackson is the first child for Theron.
“She has always wanted to be a mom,” the source tells Us. “She is glad to be able to do it on her own now and is so happy to be a mom.”
The never-married South African beauty split with actor Stuart Townsend in January 2010 after nine years together — and the breakup prompted a whole new chapter in her life.
She told the December 2011 issue of Vogue, “This is the first time [being single] in my life. From the time I was 19, I’ve been in relationships, literally gone from one to the other within a month.”

Congrats to Charlize and baby Jackson. I wonder if this was a foreign or domestic adoption. I’m assuming Charlize is an American citizen at this point (although I really don’t know), but she was born in South Africa, and she still does a lot of charitable work in Africa. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if she adopted an African baby, that’s what I’m saying. I can’t wait to see baby photos!

Among the millions gathering in front of their televisions to watch the NFL Championship matchup, Charlize Theron was certainly in party mode as she attended a friend's Super Bowl bash on Sunday evening (February 5).
The ?Young Adult? actress and a gal pal both lugged big boxes full of booze in their arms in preparation of the matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
On the career front, Theron will next be seen in ?Prometheus? and as for working with director Ridley Scott, she told press, "Working with Ridley was amazing. Of Ridley's generation I think there are abut three that are masters of filmmaking and Ridley is one of them.
"I think every actor has a director that they dream to work with and for me it was Ridley. Out of all of those guys of his generation I've always walked around saying 'God, I would give anything to work with Ridley Scott,' and he was everything that I hoped and dreamed for. I've been a really lucky girl lately."

She?s always up to something, and yesterday afternoon (January 22) Charlize Theron was spotted attending a yoga class in Los Angeles.
The ?Italian Job? actress took her mother along for the ride, and looked sporty sexy in a black jacket, black top, and black workout pants.
Though she?s widely considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, Charlize told press it was a different story entirely as a child.
"For the first eight years of my life, I didn't have front teeth. I was pretty sick as an infant, and antibiotics rotted them. But then I started to take dance classes, and I eventually got some teeth."
