She’s no stranger to travel, and last night (December 10) Charlize Theron was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport.
The “Italian Job” babe looked cool and casual as she made her way through the terminal, sporting a black jacket with a white top and black trousers.
Charlize was returning from South Africa where she participated in the World Cup Drawing. Of the honor, she told press, “I’m glowing. I’m one proud South African today. I think everyone who is South African is so proud at the moment and glad to be alive at this period in our history.”
“This is a magical moment for all of us; for this young democracy and for all the people who have worked hard to make this country a better place.”
“To have been asked to be part of this draw was an honor for me. We are all excited about this World Cup in our country, and we are aware of the legacy it will create in South Africa.”

Donning a sexy red dress, Charlize Theron was among the big names gracing the 2010 Soccer World Cup Final Draw at the CTICC in Cape Town, South Africa on Friday (December 4).
Quite the anticipated event, Miss Theron joined sporting superstars and world leaders including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, David Beckham, Haile Gebrselassie and Eusbio during a lengthy televised event to unveil matchups for next year’s tournament.
While making the announcements for the games, which get underway on June 11, Theron playfully gave Beckham a little smooch as he then stood there smirking after England drew the USA for their opening game.
As for the groupings, teams were lined up as follows:
Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
Group B: Argentina, South Korea, Nigeria, Greece,
Group C: England, USA, Algeria, Slovenia
Group D: Germany, Australia, Ghana, Serbia
Group E: Holland, Japan, Cameroon, Denmark,
Group F: Italy, New Zealand, Paraguay, Slovakia
Group G: Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal
Group H: Spain, Honduras, Chile, Switzerland.

Charlize Theron is giving back to her homeland by donating soccer fields to Africa in honor of the 2010 World Cup.Theron has revealed that her Africa Outreach charity is currently raising funds to build the fields and she is “excited” about bringing the opportunity of soccer to the rural kids in the country.“I love soccer and it’s great for Africa that we?re finally hosting it [World Cup]. We?re so proud,” the Daily Star quoted the actress as saying.Adding, “I started a program about two years ago that’s become very integrated and, in honor of the World Cup, we’re building soccer fields in very rural communities, where African children have no access to play this sport.”

Taking a breather from promotional duties, Charlize Theron ventured out shopping with her mom, Gerda, in West Hollywood in Saturday evening (November 7).
The mother/daughter duo didn’t hold back when it came to spending their cash, as the Theron ladies loaded up on a plethora of bags at Sigerson Morrison before continuing about with their doings.
Aside from recently hitting the AFI Film Fest to promote “The Road,” Charlize recently decided to sign on to star in the George Miller helmed movie, “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
Talking about the decision, Miss Theron told press: “George Miller is THAT for me. He is amazing. I am really looking forward working with him.”

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Charlize Theron was spotted attending the premiere of her new flick “The Road” last night in Hollywood.
Joined by her beau Stuart Townsend, the “Italian Job” hottie looked lovely as she arrived at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, sporting a sexy silver dress with matching heels.
Speaking about her experience with the film, Charlize told press, “I loved the book and so I felt very honored that they asked me. Working with Viggo [Mortensen] was amazing. I really think they did an incredible job.”
Theron also noted that she’d be just fine if placed in a post-apocalyptic scenario like that of the movie. “Hey I don’t know, I think of myself as someone who wouldn’t just roll over and die, I’d fight, that’s for sure.”

During a live auction during a gala for the OneXOne Charirty in San Francisco, the blonde actress was auctioning off a trip to South Africa that included World Cup tickets, a safari and a meet-and-greet with Nelson Mandela.
When the 34-year-old actress wasn’t getting the bids she wanted, she decided to raise the stakes and auction off a 7 second kiss to go along with the travel package!
And just a few moments later, the winning bidder took the stage. A woman - who won the bidding at $140,000 - got what she paid for and more – a 20-second smooch on the lips from Charlize Theron!
