Continuing production on her upcoming film ?The Intern,? Anne Hathaway showed up on a Manhattan set on Thursday afternoon (September 4).
The ?Dark Knight Rises? dame wore a retro-style red dress and 1960s hairstyle as she filmed scenes outside a New York City office building and attracted plenty of attention.
Also starring Robert DeNiro, Rene Russo and Nat Wolffe, ?The Intern? is slated to hit theaters on September 25th, 2015.
Per the synopsis, ?This is a hilarious comedy about a fashion website that decides to bring in an elderly intern, and all the generation gap drama that comes with it.?

Kicking off another day of work, Anne Hathaway was busy on the set of "The Intern" in New York City on Wednesday (July 9).
The Brooklyn native donned a navy and white checked coat and dark pants as she shot scenes for the comedy on Whitehall Street.
Due out in September of next year, the film also stars Nat Wolff, Robert De Niro and Renee Russo.
Per the synopsis, "The Intern" is described as: ?a comedy about a fashion website that brings in an elderly intern.?

Lending her star power to the fight, Anne Hathaway attended a rally to Bring Back Our Girls in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 8).
Joined by her husband Adam Shulman, the ?Les Miserables? star shared her support by amping up the crowd through a megaphone and waving around signs to help raise awareness about the kidnapping of 300 girls in Nigeria.
The Nigerian school girls were kidnapped last month from the town of Chibok by the radical group Boko Harem. Celebrities joined the cause by sharing their tweets on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #bringbackourgirls.
Everyone from Reese Witherspoon to Angelina Jolie shared their support for the cause. First Lady Michelle Obama also tweeted a photo of herself holding a sign, which read #bringbackourgirls and wrote, "It's time to #BringBackOurGirls."

Anne Hathaway was one of the most notable women at last year?s Met Gala ? she went all out in a bad-ass Valentino and she bleached her hair a punked-out white-blonde, befitting the theme of last year?s gala. This year?s theme was more conservative, so Annie opted for Calvin Klein, and the CK designer Francisco Costa was her date. I?m SHOCKED that Adam Shulman didn?t come to the gala wearing skinny tuxedo pants. Anyway, Annie looks really pretty here. I?m ready for her to grow out her hair and the red dress is so clean and simple, it?s almost a snoozefest. But she looks nice. Classic.
Zooey Deschanel in Tommy Hilfiger. Zooey collaborated with Hilfiger on an inexpensive mass-market line which recently debuted, so it makes sense that she wore Hilfiger. But my God, this dress is beneath her. It looks like a cheap prom dress. WTF?
Chloe Sevigny in Kenzo. This might be the saddest look of all. That hair says, ?I think I?m giving up.? The dress looks like vintage Escada, which is to say? dated and unflattering, and unworthy of Chloe.

Zoe Kravitz in custom Topshop. Apparently, Zoe wasn?t wearing underwear and the slit on the dress was too high and she was flashing her Kravitz beav to everyone at the Met Gala. Klassy! The dress looks like something Rihanna would wear (and has worn?), and Zoe as a blonde is? not the best.

Always proud to show off her work, Anne Hathaway was in attendance for a special screening of "Rio 2" on Saturday (April 26) in Burbank, CA.
Beautiful in black, the voice of Jewel the parrot strolled the red carpet with a smile at the event, which was held as part of the Lollipop Network's Night Under the Stars.
In career news, Anne will soon be both heard and seen on the big screen in the comedy "Don Peyote."
Slated to hit theaters later this year, the film is described as follows: "Don Peyote" tells the story Warren Allman, an unemployed stoner who finally finds a purpose in life after an unpleasant encounter with a homeless man preaching the end is near.

The Oscar-winning actress used her stint on the show to speak (and sing) to her haters in a hilarious song and dance session with the host.
Transforming rap jams into Broadway tunes, Anne and Jimmy sang versions of ?Gin and Juice," "In Da Club" and "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe."

Do you realize we?re less than a month away from the 2014 Met Gala? It?s true. This year?s Met Gala is on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo!). I was thinking about last year?s Met Gala, when Anne Hathaway showed up with her bleach-blonde hair. I wonder if Annie is coming this year and if she will do something else equally dramatic. Because these days, I?m longing for her to change up her hair. I?m tired of the short look on her. I?m not saying she should get extensions or anything, but I?d like to see her start growing that crap out.
These are pics of Annie yesterday in NYC, where she was photographed entering and exiting the ABC studio. She appeared on Good Morning America, just FYI. What are your thoughts on the coat? The coat is annoying me. It feels? Kardashian-esque. Like, I could see Kanye West talking Kim into wearing that coat. Hell, I could see Kanye wearing that coat. Annie = Yeezus? Also: I?m sorry for being so negative, but what?s up with her Terry Richardson-esque horn-rimmed glasses?!
As for Annie?s GMA interview, it was sort of cute. A 6-year-old named Sammy asked Annie to name her favorite princess:

So, Annie says: ?My favorite princess is Kate Middleton, but she’s a duchess. She’s a princess too, right? I’ll go with Kate Middleton? I think she’s lovely. She makes me very happy and that royal wedding just could not be beat.” Well, Prince William thinks Kate is a princess, but the UK press (not to mention the Palace) seems to disagree. I would be hard-pressed to name my favorite princess on the spot though, so snaps to Annie for thinking on the spot.
? Who would I name as my favorite princess? Not Letizia. Not Charlene. Probably Princess Victoria. Yes, Victoria is my favorite!

I have respect for people who can shop with intelligence and get the best deals. I also have respect for people who are good at bargaining. But does there come a point when good bargaining crosses a line and just becomes ?cheap?? I don?t know. If you?re Anne Hathaway and you have $35 million (or more) in the bank, should you really haggle over the price of a pair of sunglasses at a flea market? That?s what happened, according to Star?s source:
Star Magazine has learned that despite having $35 million in the bank, Anne Hathaway isn?t above haggling with a flea market vendor! Strolling through an LA market in mid-March, Anne spotted a pair of vintage 1960s sunglasses she just had to have, but the $80 price tag seemed steep to Hathaway.
According to an eyewitness, Anne wheedled the amount down to $55 and, to sweeten the deal, agreed to snap a selfie with the seller ? just as long as he promised not to post it online.
?It seemed obvious that Anne was having a blast negotiating deals? she also struck deals on a vase and a vintage straw hat!?

My take: I think people selling their goods at flea markets expect you to haggle. Maybe they even get insulted if you don?t try to haggle. At flea markets, every price is negotiable. And props to Anne for being good at it. I?m so bad at haggling ? if someone quotes me a price I don?t like, I get mad and walk away. I?m all, ?F?k them, I didn?t even want it that much.? It?s even worse when I?m trying to sell something and someone tries to haggle with me ? I get all flummoxed and I don?t know how to handle the art of the deal.
Now, all that being said? Anne Hathaway can afford it. But maybe she can afford it because she knows a good deal and she?s good at haggling. Or maybe she?s just cheap. Or all of the above.

Stepping out for promotional duties, Anne Hathaway headed to BBC studios in London on Wednesday (March 26).
The "Les Miserables" star donned a darling getup as she smiled and waved at her adoring fans before making her way into the studio.
Meanwhile, Miss Hathaway managed to address her haters during the premiere of her adorable new film "Rio 2" in Miami.
While chatting about how lucky she is to have straight hair that benefits from heat, Anne quickly realized her statement may spark some criticism and noted, "Everybody hates me, it's fine. I'm used to it!"

Displaying her slender frame in a purple one piece, Anne was seen dipping her head back into the ocean… clearly enjoying her time in the sun and surf.
Anne is currently in Miami while doing press for her new animated movie Rio 2, but this is the second time this month she is down south. Just a couple of weeks ago she was spotted unwinding at the beach after a hectic Oscars weekend.
