She’s made quite the name for herself over the years, and Beyonce Knowles currently finds herself atop of the music world as she celebrates her 28th birthday today (September 4).
Aside from rejoicing her successful first 27 years of living, the “Irreplaceable” songstress currently gearing up for next weekend –finding herself nominated for nine MTV VMA trophies during a ceremony to be held next Sunday (September 13).
Meanwhile, Beyonce’s hubby, Jay-Z, has been promoting his upcoming album, “The Blueprint 3,” which will be released on September 11th.
While doing an interview for Oprah’s O Magazine, the hip-hop mogul dished a few details about he and Beyonce’s romantic doings, saying, “I’m gonna get killed for this, but I’ll tell you anyway.
There’s a great pizza spot we go to every Sunday. It’s our tradition. It’s a small place in Brooklyn, you can bring your own wine, and there are candles there. It’s a nice date.”

They’re always up for a good party, and yesterday (August 30) Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z were spotted at the Jelly NYC Pool Party.
The “Crazy in Love” songstress and her “99 Problems” beau looked to be having a marvelous time as they arrived at the soiree in Brooklyn, New York.
Keeping it in the Big Apple, Jay-Z and Beyonce were seen at a press conference for the “Answer the Call” charity concert at Madison Square Garden today (August 31).
Joined by Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group Kevin Liles, Jay fielded questions and posed for pictures ahead of the September 11th concert to benefit the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards are getting ready for the big night on September 13th.
Playing a big role, Beyonc is also getting ready for the event, as she’s nominated for an enormous number of nine Moonmen- but that’s not all.
On top of already receiving nine nominations, the singer will be performing on stage during the course of the evening.
Beyonc will be performing “Sweet Dreams,” her latest single, joining husband Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Pink and Muse, who are all on the list to perform.
This is the third time Beyonc will be a VMA performer, as she sang back in 2003 and again in 2006.

September 13, the night of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, was already shaping up to be a pretty busy evening for Beyonc, who's nominated for a whopping nine Moonmen. Now, it's going to be even busier.
That's because B — who's up for Video of the Year and Best Female Video for her eye-popping, hip-shaking "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" clip — has just been added to the growing list of VMA performers, too.

Kim Kardashian had to shake things up by dying her hair blonde a few days ago now making her an official blonde bombshell. I still haven’t decided whether or not I’m liking Kim’s new look. She kind of has that Beyonce or Mariah Carey look going on now. Who am I to judge though, I’m not looking at her hair anyway as long as she keeps showing that awesome cleavage!

They’ve always been fans of the finer things in life, and last night (August 11) Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were spotted out on a swanky dinner date.
The “Crazy in Love” songstress and her “99 Problems” husband looked to be in good spirits as they made their exit from Nello’s Italian restaurant.
And of course there were plenty of fans and shutterbugs waiting to catch a glimpse of the super couple as they made their way from the Upper East Side eatery to a chauffeured car.
Coming up next month at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce will be competing for Video of the Year against Britney Spears, Lady GaGa, Eminem, and Kanye West.

They’re always up to something, and earlier today (August 10) Beyonce Knowles and her sister Solange were spotted at a promotional appearance in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan.
The “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” songstress and her younger sister were all about hyping up the Samantha Thavasa & Disney Handbag Collection at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.
And Beyonce looked amazing, as usual, in a strapless blue and lilac dress while Solange rocked a white tank top with a ruffled Pink skirt.
Also of note, Solange was still sporting her buzzed haircut as a way of freeing herself “from the bondage that black women sometimes put on themselves with hair.” Whatever.

Enjoying a summer day in the Big Apple, Beyonce Knowles was spotted out and about over the weekend in New York City.
The “If I Were a Boy” songstress looked stylish in checkered shorts, a white tank with matching heels and hat.
In other news, some of Beyonce’s fans are outraged over the questionable similarity of Kelly Clarkson’s new single “Already Gone” and Beyonce’s song,"Halo."
However, according to Perez Hilton, Clarkson’s song was already in production before Beyonce’s was even underway.
In fact, Clarkson’s tune was created first, but Beyonce’s happened to hit the airwaves before the former American Idol’s could be released.

Taking an evening off from her usual crazy schedule, Beyonce Knowles was spotted chilling out at Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles last night (July 12).
The “Crazy in Love” songstress looked absolutely fabulous as she emerged from the club, sporting a beautiful purple dress as she was escorted to her car by a security guard.
The night before, Beyonce was in Anaheim, giving another high-energy performance for her fans at the Honda Center.
And in a recent report, Ms. Knowles was the top-paid celebrity under the age of 30- Forbes estimated that she earned $87 million between June 2008 and June 2009. Not too shabby!

Beyonc and mom Tina Knowles are launching a junior clothing line named after the singer?s alter ego, WWD is reporting.Based on the urban chic look of Beyonc?s current tour, the mother-daughter-designed collection includes sportswear, outerwear, handbags, jewelry, footwear, eyewear and lingerie, and wholesales for $25 to $75. Meant to accompany their already established Deron junior label, “the line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express,” Beyonc said in a statement. Macy’s, Dillard’s, Jimmy Jazz, and Against All Odds have signed on to carry the collection.
