Beyonce Knowles has laughed off bizarre reports she sent a look-a-like to visit one of Austria’s top art museums on Tuesday, insisting there’s “only one Beyonce”.The Irreplaceable hitmaker was in the country as part of her worldwide I Am… roadshow and was due to be given a personal tour of Vienna’s Albertina.But she found herself at the centre of controversy when local newspapers claimed she snubbed the visit to go shopping - and sent a doppelganger in her place.When alerted to the alleged scam, Albertina spokeswoman Verena Dahlitz said, “What a cheek! We were a little doubtful (if it was Beyonce), but weren’t really sure. It could have been her.”However, Beyonce’s representative Alan Nierob has shot down the claims, insisting the singer attended the art museum in person.

...and Obsessed is a crusty piece of weave glue off of Beyonce's head! Beyonce's soon-to-be multiple Razzie winning caca EXTRAVAGANZ-AAAAAA opens in theaters today. The movie wasn't screened for critics, so reviews have barely started trickling in this morning and the consensus is that you should spend your $10 on more important things like four VIP front-row tickets (with backstage passes and open baked potato bar) to Solange's concert in the basement or a Chia Pet.
Every review I've read so far has basically called it a wart on the ass of Basic Instinct 2 and this is exactly why I will probably be the only person in this country to pay actual cash money for this trash. And Papa Knowles using his Gold AMEX to buy thousands of movie tickets doesn't count!
Here's Beyonce at premiere in NYC last night. Beyonce is wearing House of Derrier's 80s catch-all dress! It can take you from prom to wedding to funeral. It's the only dress you'll ever need......if you lived and died in the mid-80s.

You may bleach and dye and straighten the girl until she doesn’t really look black anymore, but you can never take away her desire for over-the-top, showy clothes and bling-bling. If it doesn’t have sequins and a mermaid hem, then it has a train that requires its own handler (see Toby adjusting it below?) I think I saw this dress on a Bob Mackie for Barbie dress back in the 80’s. Do you girls remember those? Those were so ridiculously awesome. That Sears Wishbook would come every Christmastime and I’d eagerly flip to see what spangled, sequined creation would be outfitting Barbie that year. I never got one, dammit. Maybe Beyonce didn’t get one either, and that’s why she’s been dressing like a peacock.

Beyonce made an appearance to the Late Show with David Letterman. The singer looked pretty nice in a simple but elegant white dress. Every time Beyonce is on a talk show, she always ends up looking hot. If you discount the horrible "board feed" song we heard a couple of days ago, Beyonce still has it going on!

Yesterday everyone was buzzing over a supposed unfiltered “board mix” of Beyonce performing her hit “If I Were a Boy” on The Today Show last November. The story went that Beyonce lip synced that performance and that the recording was of her actual singing. Howard Stern played the clip on his show yesterday and it was just awful. Beyonce screeched and warbled off pitch, her voice getting increasingly worse as the song went on.
In response to that clip, Beyonce’s dad and manager, Mathew Knowles, pointed out that his daughter sang live at the inauguration and at the inaugural ball and didn’t miss a note, adding “At 12 years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability.”:
In a fiery statement to TMZ, Mathew Knowles, who’s also Bey’s manager, says his daughter was set up. It’s one of the best statements we’ve ever gotten.
“If no one took the time to look at the biggest Inauguration in the history of America then shame on them.
If no one took the time to listen to Beyonce sing ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘At Last’ at the Neighborhood Ball for the first dance of President Obama and the First Lady, and they question Beyonce’s vocal ability, they’ve gotta be an idiot.
At 12 years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability.
That would be like questioning if Kobe Bryant could shoot a jump shot. The vocals were obviously altered.”

Matthew Knowles was right. Someone took the real live recording Beyonce’s performance on The Today Show
and altered it to make her voice sound terrible. It was never intended to be taken as a real recording and was just a joke that went too far:
Beyonce has officially been cleared of all bad singing charges — the atrocious supposed “board mix” of her performance on “The Today Show” last year was altered after all.
Just as Mathew Knowles told us, the audio clip that many people believed was leaked from “Today” was indeed a fake.
In fact, TMZ found the person behind the prank who was surprised it went as far as it did, saying, “It’s a little bit crazy. No one in their right mind would sound like that, and no one would cheer for someone singing like that.”
Apparently, the dude never went to an Ashlee Simpson concert…

MSat and I were chatting about this, and she was saying how ironic it is, in the wake of the Susan Boyle phenomenon, that an attractive woman like Beyonce who is known for elaborate performances can’t really sing. It makes you think about the nature of the entertainment industry and how it favors flash over substance. In this case it didn’t happen to pan out that way and Beyonce really does have the pipes to back up her gorgeous wigs and bizarre outfits. Britney, though, is a different matter, although now I’m inclined to believe that her board mix was also a fake.
Beyonce is shown outside the Late Show last night. She told Letterman that performing at the inauguration was “the best moment” of her career.

TMZ found the guy who doctored the supposed audio of the board feed from Beyonce’s performance on The Today Show. They’ve cleared her of all bad singing charges and have vindicated Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles, who, earlier, released the statement:
If no one took the time to look at the biggest Inauguration in the history of America then shame on them.
If no one took the time to listen to Beyonce sing ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘At Last’ at the Neighborhood Ball for the first dance of President Obama and the First Lady, and they question Beyonce’s vocal ability, they’ve gotta be an idiot.

On Tuesday, Howard Stern played what he claimed to be the unedited board mix of Beyonc's performance of "If I Were a Boy" from a "Today" show appearance last year — at times, the performance is rather excruciatingly off-key.
On Wednesday (April 22), Beyonc commented about the allegations exclusively to MTV News — and when she said the report was "ridiculous," she was right: TMZ reported late Wednesday afternoon that
the tape was a hoax.

When most pop singers perform live, they?re often lip-synching. It ensures that they sound good. And to be fair, if there?s much dancing going on, it would be hard to sing well, especially to the standards people would expect. Normally they record a new, slightly different or less-perfect sounding version of the song, so it?s not exactly what you hear on the radio. Oftentimes singers sing along, but the sound from their microphones is just fed into the sound board and not played out for the audience. That ensures they really look like they?re singing, while the perfect sounding music is what?s played.
Howard Stern managed to get a recording of Beyonce?s board mix from when she performed ?If I Were a Boy? on The Today Show on November 26th. The board mix is the sound from Beyonce?s mic ? completely unedited. The audience and viewers couldn?t hear it. And to say it?s shockingly atrocious is an understatement. At first when you listen to a bit, you think, ?Well, it?s not all that bad, there might be an explanation.? But then as it goes on and on, your jaw drops further to the ground and you start to curse modern technology for letting someone who sings this way put out so many albums.

Here?s what the audience heard (song starts at 2:25)
When I first heard the board mix my thought was, ?Well, maybe she was dancing or something.? But watching the video, it?s clear Beyonce is just walking around in a tight spandex bodysuit. That only takes so much out of you. To be fair, the acoustics at Rockefeller Center are probably atrocious. The way the buildings are laid out with long, narrow corridors cannot help things. And that explains why nearly everyone would want to lip synch to a track. But what we?re listening to is just Beyonce?s voice, straight from the mic to the board. The acoustics don?t explain the warbling, the lack of pitch, the ? everything. It?s just shocking. I?m thinking PART of it must be that she didn?t think anyone would ever hear the recording and wasn?t trying. All that aside? it?s really mind-boggling.

Beyonce Knowles would love to follow in the footsteps of rock bands Aerosmith and Metallica by developing a Guitar Hero video game exclusively featuring her songs.The singer is a big fan of the popular music simulator and insists she is better at rocking out on Guitar Hero than on the actual instrument.And she would jump at the chance to create a Beyonce edition of the game for her fans.Asked about the possibility of creating her version, she replied: “Definitely. I would love to imagine people playing to my songs.”But the R&B star admits her experiences with karaoke video games are less impressive: “I’ve actually played some karaoke games with the old Destiny’s Child songs. It’s so funny, because I don’t get great scores. I’m like, ‘How is that possible?’”
