Getting a jumpstart to her day, Katie Holmes was spotted walking to a business meeting in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday morning (January 18).
The ?Romantics? gal donned her usual savvy style as she strolled along after hopping out of her Mercedes while not looking all that pleased when the sneaky photogs showed up.
Over the weekend, Mrs Tom Cruise was among the attendees at W Magazine?s Celebration of The Best Performances Issue and The Golden Globes.
The soiree was hosted at the popular Chateau Marmont in LA where Katie, dressed in Miu Miu, hobnobbed among fellow celebs including good friend Julianne Moore.

Bringing an end to the weekend with a leisurely lunch outing, Katie Holmes was spotted out meeting a few friends in West Hollywood on Sunday (January 16).
The "Mad Money" actress was all smiles as she waved to a staff member after chowing down at the eatery inside of the swanky Sunset Marquis Hotel.
Aside from her weekend doings, Showtime network entertainment head David Nevins recently explained the decision to pull the plug on Katie's made for TV miniseries "The Kennedys".
Nevins said, ?I looked seriously at it, and thought it was well acted, well made and very watchable. What it really came down to was that it didn?t feel Showtime. It didn?t feel like premium cable. I have great respect and love for [Kennedys creator] Joel Surnow. He?s got a great cast. It didn?t fundamentally feel us. My vow coming in was to focus on renewable resources, and series are renewable resources.?

Katie Holmes has scored a new gig as the face of the classic American brand Ann Taylor. Holmes will appear in the brand’s spring 2011 ads, set to debut in March.
“We are thrilled to have Katie as the face of Ann Taylor,” the company’s president, Christine Beauchamp, said in a statement. “Katie personifies the Ann Taylor brand — smart, talented, incredibly chic, and living a full life with beauty and grace. We admire and respect Katie for her intellect, kindness and enduring personal style.”
And Holmes seems just as happy to be representing the women’s clothing line. “I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl,” she says on their website. “I grew up loving the clothes…and am really excited to be the face of Ann Taylor for the Spring season. I am thrilled to be part of a brand I believe in.”

Getting back to work on their upcoming movie, Katie Holmes joined a cross-dressing Adam Sandler on the set of "Jack & Jill" in Los Angeles on Tuesday (January 11).
The former "Dawson's Creek" darling looked cheery while the cameras were rolling as she was clearly entertained by er drag-clad co-star funnyman's on-set antics.
Bringing her daughter to the workplace, Miss Holmes also made sure to spend part of her down time with Suri - as the pair visited the petting zoo in Plummer Park where they intently scoped out a gathering of rabbits.
As for the film, "Jack and Jill" is directed by Dennis Dugan while described as "a comedy about a brother and sister both played by Sandler."

Katie Holmes is the new face of Ann Taylor! This is the first ad from what I hope will be a major campaign for Katie. Not that I think the ad is much of anything - the clothes look nice, but Katie looks like she?s mid-stroke. I think that?s her ?look? though. She?s going to patent it. Some go with ?Blue Steel? and Katie goes for ?Half My Face Is Numb?. As far as whether it?s wise for Katie to associate herself with the Ann Taylor brand? sure. I know Katie likes to think of herself as high-fashion, but she?s not. She wishes she was business-classy like Ann Taylor!
Ann Taylor has confirmed that Katie Holmes will be the face of the company’s spring 2011 ad campaign that will debut in March.
The images of Holmes wearing the brand’s updated classics (think perfectly tailored trousers, sleek jackets and plenty of navy-and-white stripes) were shot in Los Angeles by famed fashion photographer Tom Munro. The spring line is modern and nautical-inspired, and there will also be bright yellow and green citrine-shade handbags and shoes featured in the ads.
“I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl — I grew up loving the clothes,” says Holmes. “I’m thrilled to be a part of a brand I believe in.”
Other celebrity fans of Ann Taylor include Naomi Watts (who appeared in the company’s fall ads), Halle Berry, Rachel Bilson and supermodel Heidi Klum (who has been the star of the company’s past two holiday campaigns).
This isn’t the first time Holmes has posed for a major fashion brand. She appeared in J. Crew’s catalog in the fall along with Josh Duhamel and her other The Romantics co-stars.
Holmes also appears on the cover of the current issue of Elle. The news of her Ann Taylor deal comes just days after History decided not to air her controversial series The Kennedys, in which Holmes was to portray Jackie Kennedy.

So? modeling seems like a nice way for Katie to supplement her income, considering she?s not getting a lot scripts sent her way. And Katie Holmes: Model isn?t that laughable. I?m just a sucker for a slim navy suit though.

She was geeked to get the gig as Jacqueline Kennedy in the new miniseries ?The Kennedys? but Katie Holmes won?t be hitting the History Channel anytime soon.
The head honchos over at History decided to scrap their involvement in the project because it is a bit too honest about the great American family.
Executive producer Michael Prupas told press, "It's the truth. The goal of the script from the very beginning was to tell the family story of the Kennedys. There's much written evidence of what went on in that family ... They truly were a great family that has a Shakespearian story arc that resulted in many tragedies and many great successes."
"It is blatantly obvious from many public sources that the family had certain flaws and certain problems. We weren't inventing the wheel. The film is a positive reflection. But we have shown the flaws."
Now it?s uncertain where ?The Kennedys? will end up. "We don't have an offer in place. We don't have a discussion going on with a specific network. [But] there are several interested in reviewing the material. I know the material and I know anybody who's watched this material and the response has been overwhelmingly positive."

It’s all sour Scientology grapes at the Katie Holmes-Tom Cruise funny farm. Xenu doesn’t have a sense of humor and so has commanded them not to attend this year’s Oscars because Anne Hathaway made fun of minion Katie. Says Huffington Post,
Anne Hathaway’s ‘SNL’ impression of Katie Holmes was so good that it may actually keep Holmes and husband Tom Cruise away from the Academy Awards this year, The Daily Mail reports.
Hathaway, this year’s Oscars co-host with James Franco, spoofed Holmes in a November episode of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ playing a gaspy, “complex,” and confused version of the former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star. Apparently, it was either so insulting — or so spot on — that Holmes and Cruise are enraged enough to boycott the show, unwilling to run into Hathaway.
The Daily Mail quotes a source saying that Holmes and Cruise felt betrayed by the nationally televised impression, given what they considered a solid friendship with the ‘Love and Other Drugs’ star. When Hathaway broke up with boyfriend Raffaello Follieri in 2008, Cruise and Holmes took Hathaway to a Tina Turner concert, the ultimate salve.
“Katie feels they were really supportive at a difficult time so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her,” the source told the paper.
Shortly after the show, Hathaway defended the impression, saying that she didn’t mean to make fun of Holmes herself.
“I was a teenager when ‘Dawson’s Creek’ was airing, and I was a pretty avid fan, so it just sort of came from that,” Anne told The Hollywood Reporter (via Access Hollywood). “It wasn’t really Katie Holmes; it was more [her 'Creek' character] Joey Potter.”
Everybody already thinks of Katie as an uptight robot-twat (RoboTwat?) so she could have done herself a favor and laughed it off in good humor. But instead she and shorty have to go take their toys and leave the sandbox in a huff.

Making for a fun-filled gals-only outing, Katie Holmes took her daughter Suri and friends shoe shopping at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver on Sunday (January 9).
The "Mad Money" mommy escorted the pack of ladies into the upscale store as Suri happily tried on high heels to practice her walking skills before checking out her teeth in the mirror.
In town as family patriarch Tom Cruise films "Mission: Impossible IV," the outing comes as it was recently announced that Katie's most recent effort "The Kennedys" has been pulled from The History Channel's planned lineup in the States.
The eight-part miniseries didn't make the cut on the network, as a rep told THR, ?While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand."

The eight-part miniseries didn't make the cut on the network, as a rep told THR, ?While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand."
While the series - which also stars Greg Kinnear - will still be broadcast internationally, stateside plans are now up in the air.
Not letting the news dampen her spirits, the former "Dawson's Creek" actress was all smiles as she and daughter Suri spent Friday night (January 7) visiting family patriarch Tom Cruise on the Vancouver set of his new "Mission: Impossible" film.
