After firing her magician of a lawyer Shawn Holley and replacing her with shady New York attorney Mark Heller, Lindsay Lohan finally realized what a terrible mistake she made. She begged Holley to come back but Holley was done with her. Especially considering Lindsay still owed $150,000 in unpaid fees.
More than a week later, Lindsay is still trying to get her back. How? She plans on paying the bill. As any MBA program will tell you, that’s probably a good first step in any business relationship.
We’re told Lindsay has instructed her business manager to pay the tab ASAP. Lindsay is making money from appearances, endorsements and some acting gigs, but she’s been spending like an insane woman — first class plane tickets, expensive hotels, restaurants, clothes, etc. Lindsay says she’ll cut back so Shawn gets paid. It’s kind of surprising that a lot of Lindsay’s money goes towards hotels, restaurants and clothes. I just figured she stole most of her clothes from photo shoots, made a scene in restaurants until she got comped and tricked producers into paying for her hotel rooms. She’s like a Hollywood grifter.

Last week, The Enquirer?s gossip guy Mike Walker claimed that Lindsay Lohan was $150 million in debt. Many of you took issue with that, as you should. I think we can all agree that Lindsay is a crackhead with no sense of fiscal responsibility, and while I could believe that she?s $10 million in debt, I can?t get on board with the $150 million figure. Lindsay has probably racked up a few million in credit card debt, a few million in back-taxes, a few million in real estate schemes, and a few million in legal bills. As for the legal bill situation ? many think that Lindsay dumped Shawn Holley initially because LL owed Shawn so much money and maybe, in LL?s crack-addled mind, she thought she wouldn?t have to pay Shawn if she fired her. Now that Lindsay has a new lawyer who she hates, LL will do anything to get Shawn back ? even paying her bills!
Lindsay Lohan is telling friends she was clueless until a few days ago that she owed Shawn Holley a small fortune in attorney’s fees, but we’re told now that she knows she’s putting Shawn at the top of her creditor’s list.
It’s hard to swallow … that Lindsay didn’t know how much she owed Shawn. We’ve been reporting for weeks it’s in the 6 figures. Sources quite familiar with the situation tell TMZ, Lindsay owes Shawn $150,000.
It’s interesting … although Lindsay fired Shawn … our sources tell us she’s been making a full-court press for more than a week to get her back, but Shawn isn’t having it.

I thought the whole reason Lindsay hired Mark Heller was because he wasn?t going to charge her? Or maybe he just takes payment in beejs. In any case, Lindsay is looking to dump Heller and no other lawyer will take her, so this is basically her only option ? pay Shawn and suck it up (and not in the normal way she pays her bills). Also: I bet she owes Shawn WAY more than $150,000.

While Lindsay Lohan was facing her legal issues in court, a new member of the Lohan family was being born across the country.
Michael Lohan's fiance Kate Major gave birth to Landon Major Lohan at 11:39 AM PT in a Florida hospital, according to TMZ.
Reportedly healthy, the baby boy weighed in at 7lbs, 5 oz. and measured 19 3/4 in. long. Lindsay's father was with Kate during the delivery and reportedly cut the umbilical cord. A representative shares that mommy and baby are doing great.
Meanwhile, LiLo narrowly avoided jail time again as she managed to appear in court today while the trial for her charge in lying to police was set for March 18th.

As previously mentioned, Lindsay Lohan showed up for her day in court this morning with attorney Mark Heller in tow. You know things are off to a bad start when the judge mocks you by saying, “I’m glad to see you’re feeling better,” in reference to the “doctor’s note” your attorney presented.
Neither is it a good sign when your attorney tries to kiss ass by telling the judge how much he respects her because she was once a detective in NYC and is summarily shot down and told flattery would get him nowhere fast.
Regardless, Lindsay did not go to jail today. A new hearing is set for March 1 and Judge Sautner won’t be overseeing it because she’s retiring.
On another note, what is with that yokel face Lindsay is making up above. Jesus, is she having a stroke?

Despite reports that Lindsay Lohan was too sick to make it into court on Wednesday morning (January 30), she turned up bright and early in Los Angeles.
Making her way through the awaiting crowds with mom Dina, the 26-year-old actress donned a black dress and a smile before heading inside.
On Tuesday (January 29), reports surfaced that the "Mean Girls" star was still in New York City and allegedly too sick to make it to LA for the court appearance.
Things changed after Lindsay learned that a warrant would be issued for her arrest if she failed to show up.
During today's hearing, Miss Lohan faces misdemeanor charges of lying to authorities and reckless driving.

This ^^ is a photo of Lindsay Lohan arriving at LAX late last night. Can I just say? All week, I?ve had anxiety about Lindsay Lohan?s court appearance today in LA. Mostly my anxiety comes from a place of ?How many times do I have to cover Lindsay Lohan?s courtroom shenanigans? Nothing ever comes from it anyway. Lady Justice pretty much gives her a handie and she?s on her way to more cracktastrophes.? But now I have anxiety for another reason ? Lindsay made sure that her arrival in LA would get wall-to-wall coverage because she played a game of “Haha, I might not even show up to court, even though the judge ordered me to appear.” At first she claimed she might not come because she?s ?sick?. Super-sick you guys. So sick that she needed some retail therapy in NYC and she totally can?t fly.
Lindsay Lohan is gonna be in a heap of trouble tomorrow … we’ve learned she will NOT be in an L.A. court Wednesday as required, because she claims she’s sick … but pictures prove otherwise.
We’ve learned Lindsay’s new lawyer, Mark Heller, submitted documents notifying the judge she’s too ill to fly. Heller submitted a note from a Park Avenue doctor who says Lindsay has an upper respiratory infection and can’t fly for her own safety as well as the safety of the public.
Heller also submitted an article from the New York Post from January 11, reporting that a flu epidemic has hit the Big Apple.
But take a look at the pictures showing Lindsay on an all-day shopping spree in SoHo Saturday — the same day the doctor allegedly examined her. She’s even smoking … which doesn’t seem like great idea for someone with a respiratory infection.
Interesting … the judge hasn’t even approved Heller — a New York lawyer — to appear in a California court on Lindsay’s behalf and already there are shenanigans.
As for Lindsay … she’s in trouble. The judge could issue a warrant for her arrest if the excuse proves bogus.

Now, the flu is a real thing, and it?s pretty rough this year. You know what else is going around? That awful Norovirus that I had around this time last year. If Lindsay actually had the Norovirus, I would give her a pass ? but I know she doesn?t have it. The Norovirus knocks you flat on your ass, and you can?t even stand up and walk around without barfing. So, the ?flu? it is. The kind of flu where you walk around shopping and smoking.
Anyway, TMZ got the “tip” (from Lindsay or Dina) that the threat of an arrest warrant being issued was hardcore enough to get the Cracken’s ass on a place. TMZ also says that Lindsay has been “begging” Shawn Holley to take her back, telling Shawn “she can’t stand Heller and wants it the way it was … problem is, Lindsay already made her bed and as we already reported, Holley is over Lindsay for good.” TMZ also says that Lindsay flew first class to LA because she was in a “panic” after their reporting. Sure.
One thing is for sure – this will be a major cracktastrophe.

As I was looking through our older photos of Lindsay Lohan sitting in court or on her way to court, I felt a really gross wave of nostalgia. Memories? like the crackies of my mind?. Misty water-colored memories? Of the way we were. So, Lindsay is due back in court for the pretrial hearing on the 30th, which is next Wednesday. I?m not looking forward to it at all. I?m tempted to not even cover the situation in real time and just leave an Open Post for all of you to enjoy the latest twists and turns of Lindsay?s cracktastrophe. You?re going to need to prepare yourselves for some stuff. Here, I made you a list:
*Lindsay really is supposed to show up in person. The judge ordered it specifically, and I guess she?s supposed to listen to the pre-trial motions from her defense. The actual court date for the big trial is February 27. Three days after the Oscars!
*Expect for Lindsay?s lawyer situation to be a hot mess. She?s got her NY lawyer Mark Heller and he?s hired two California lawyers to act on his behalf (because he can?t practice in CA).
*Prepare for Lindsay to go braless to court. She always does.
*Prepare for it to be a crackie fashion show. She loves the attention, and she loves showing off her designer clothes for the courthouse paparazzi.
*The LA court case involves her PCH car crash last June. She has been charged with THREE misdemeanor counts: willfully obstructing the accident probe, reckless driving and providing fale information/lying to a police officer.
*Lindsay?s case was transferred to Judge Stephanie Sautner. If that name sounds familiar, it?s because Lindsay has already been in front of Sautner before ? she was the presiding judge on Lindsay?s jewelry heist case, in which Lindsay entered a plea deal and mandatory probation (which she is now in violation of). Sautner was also the judge who told Lindsay, ?The only thing you have to do is follow all laws? Live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work, OK? I don’t expect to see you again. You know what you have to do.”
And lastly, in other Cracken news, Snooki has just revealed that Lindsay and Pauly D once hooked up. Snooki said: ?It was the first time in LA and I feel like she was flirting with Pauly – and I feel like they made out? It was, like, three years ago? Personally, I like Lindsay. I think she’s a fun girl and she’s made a few mistakes and people thinks she’s the devil for it. [I met her in a club in 2012 and] She pulled me up to her VIP and she introduced me to her mother. I guess she clubs with her mother. Her mom is wicked cool. I mean, she was wicked cool. I was dancing with both of them. We were having a good time? they had a lot of respect for us. There are so many smaller, awful stories about Lindsay Lohan today. I guess I could parcel them out like crack gumdrops, but let?s all get through this together. First of all, as many of you fact-checked me earlier in the week, Max George totally denied that he?s dating Lindsay Lohan, regardless of her recent Instagram photo of the two of them. Max got on his Twitter and responded to his fans questions, tweeting ?Nooooooo? and ?I?m not? when asked.
Second story ? you know how Lindsay?s micro-budget movie The Canyons looks like an awful disaster? Well, the film was rejected from the Sundance Film Festival months ago, and now it will probably be rejected from the South by Southwest Festival too! A festival insider told THR that the film suffers from major ?quality issues? and ?It?s got an ugliness and a deadness to it.? Shocking.
Next ? there?s a ton of legal drama and behind-the-scenes drama with Lindsay?s lawyers. Lindsay?s new lawyer, Mark Heller, can?t practice law in California, so he has to have a ?sponsor? and it got complicated so now two California lawyers ? Lindsay Berger Sacks and Peter Toumbekis ? will also be appearing with Lohan next week. As for the chance that the Cracken will ever, ever take a plea? not so much:

In her seemingly never-ending litany of legal issues, Lindsay is facing criminal charges stemming from a car accident in Santa Monica, Calif. last summer. Lohan is accused of lying to police when she told them she was not driving at the time of the crash. The troubled actress is rejecting a deal that would put her in rehab for nine months and taking her chances in court.
Lindsay fired powerhouse attorney Shawn Holley and is now represented by Mark Heller, who once had his law license suspended for five years.
?Mark believes he can get Lindsay acquitted of all criminal charges stemming from her car accident in Santa Monica last summer,? a source told Radar. ?Lindsay has convinced Mark that she never lied to cops when they asked her if she was driving the car that day.
?There was a plea bargain offer on the table for Lindsay to go to rehab for nine months, but she absolutely refused that. Mark won?t sign off on a deal that sends Lindsay to rehab for more than 60 days.?
And in a move that would certainly be dramatic ? and possibly disastrous ? Lindsay may testify in her own defense!

Lilo owes former attorney, Holley more than $300,000 in legal fees, as Radar reported exclusively.
?Lindsay owes Shawn over $300,000 in legal fees and she hasn?t made any payments to her in over six months,? an insider previously told us. ?Lindsay hadn?t paid anything for any of the work Shawn has done on her three new criminal charges of lying to cops in connection with her car accident in Santa Monica last summer. Shawn has kept Lindsay out of extended jail stays for over five years now ?
Heller is based in New York City, and has obtained the necessary license to practice in California.
?Mark will be with Lindsay in court on January 30 at which point a date will be set for the trial,? a source said. ?Lindsay?s probation violation hearing would be held at the conclusion of the criminal trial. ?
Commissioner Jane Godfrey already has revoked her probation. Added the source: ?Even if Lindsay is acquitted on the criminal charges, she can still be found in violation of the terms of her probation stemming from her necklace theft case.
?Lindsay has made it clear to Mark that she won?t be going back to jail, or to rehab under terms that she doesn?t agree to but it doesn?t appear that Lindsay comprehends the huge legal gamble she is taking by going to trial.?

I seem to remember there was some speculation that Lindsay would testify in her own defense when she was on trial for the jewelry-heisting case, right? But she ended up not doing that, and I can?t see ANY lawyer thinking that it would be a good idea to let this cracktastrophe testify in open court. Ugh, so much stupid Lohan drama. So, do you remember how Lindsay Lohan tried to fire her longtime attorney Shawn Holley last week? Shawn has gotten LL out of numerous scrapes, and if you?re looking for a reason why Lindsay hasn?t been rotting away in a jail cell for YEARS, it?s all because of Shawn. Maybe Lindsay just got scared with the overwhelming amount of money she owes Shawn, or maybe Lindsay?s crack-addled mind thought she was being clever, but for whatever reason, LL tried to fire Shawn and hire a new lawyer (NY-based). Shawn appeared in court last week on Lindsay?s behalf, and it seems like that appearance was Shawn?s last act as LL?s lawyer ? TMZ reports that Shawn has quit Lohan now!
Shawn Holley is saying goodbye to Lindsay Lohan for good, even though Lindsay has begged her to come back on board as her lawyer … TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the case tell us … Holley is in the process of filling out paperwork and getting the necessary signatures to officially withdraw from the case … before Lindsay’s hearing on January 30.
TMZ broke the story …. Lindsay fired Holley last week as she was on her way to the courthouse to discuss plea bargaining her lying-to-cops case. Lindsay hired Mark Heller, a New York lawyer who is not licensed to practice in California.
Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ … Lindsay has told Holley she made a mistake firing her and wants her back, but Holley has had it with Lohan — who still owes her a ton of money.
We’re guessing Holley will never see her money, but Lindsay may have lost a lot more.

CB and I were recently talking about why TMZ seemed so personally offended by LL?s recent legal shenanigans, and CB offered a theory which I think is true ? Harvey Levin is a lawyer and he likes other lawyers, and he didn?t like seeing Shawn screwed over, which is why TMZ seemed to be going overboard by declaring LL?s attempt to fire Shawn as LL?s ?worst decision ever.?
In other Cracken news, yesterday TMZ claimed that Lindsay had turned down a massive offer to do Dancing With the Stars. Reportedly, DWTS offered her $550,000 to see her cracked-out trainwreck on live TV, but Lindsay told them she?s going ?to stick to films? because? you know, she thinks she?s Marilyn Monroe/Elizabeth Taylor. Radar has a follow-up today which basically says that Lindsay refused the offer because she knew she wouldn?t be reliable enough to do a live show:

The cash-strapped 26-year-old troubled actress definitely needs the career boost, after her much-panned Liz & Dick and The Canyons roles, but her advisers didn?t think she could handle DWTS.
?Lindsay has been a mess on movie sets lately. She doesn?t show up on time, she keeps everyone waiting and so her team decided that there was no way that she could handle the pressure of a live show like Dancing with the Stars.?
With two live shows a week, as well as months of daily practices, Lindsay would have to be very disciplined, and her team didn?t think should could make that major commitment to ABC.
?Lindsay operates on her own schedule, and there would be no way that anyone could guarantee that she would be on time for rehearsals or the shows, and they?re live so it would be horrible if she didn?t show up!?
Even though the former Disney star would be a ratings draw, the people around her realized that she would be too much of a risk for a reality show.
?A live show and Lindsay? That would not be smart!?

While I agree, it would be a total disaster if she had signed on, I don?t really buy this story. It just sounds too shockingly self-aware on Lindsay?s part. The reasons given ? she?s a cracked-out mess, she wouldn?t be on time, she would screw up a live show ? are the reasons why DWTS producers would reject her, even if her trainwreck would be must-see-TV.

In surprising news, there may still be a little bit of dignity left in the dark recesses of Lindsay Lohan’s nicotine filled soul. Oddly enough, this may be Lindsay’s downfall.
According to TMZ, she turned down a $550,000 offer to appear on the upcoming season ofDancing With the Stars. Why? By the sounds of it, Lindsay thinks reality TV is beneath her. Oh, so now we have lines. The non-crossing variety, not the snorting variety.Considering this girl still owes back taxes and is pretty much Hollywood poison afterthe NYT piece,half a million wouldn’t have hurt.
A source says Lindsay is telling friends she’d never do reality TV and wants to stick to films. Because film has been working out so well for her, you see, what with those string of movies she did with $30 million opening weekends. Oh, wait. That never happened.
