Making the most of their time at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival, James Franco and Nicole Kidman showed up at the photocall for ?Queen of the Desert? on Friday (February 6).
The ?Moulin Rouge? hottie smiled for the cameras outside the Grand Hyatt Hotel along with the ?Pineapple Express? hunk and their costar Damian Lewis.
?Queen of the Desert? is slated to hit theaters later this year. Per the synopsis, ?This is a chronicle of Gertrude Bell's life, a traveler, writer, archaeologist, explorer, cartographer, and political attach for the British Empire at the dawn of the twentieth century.?

Showing some love for her American fans, Nicole Kidman attended the Film Society premiere of ?Paddington? in Manhattan on Tuesday night (January 6). The ?Moulin Rouge? actress was darling as she worked the crowd outside Lincoln Center ahead of the special screening.
And while she was in the Big Apple, Nicole also paid a visit to ?The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? during which she told of a time when she and Jimmy had a pseudo-date. Kidman recalled, "So Rick, our mutual friend, says to me, 'Oh, Jimmy wants to meet you, and you can go over to his apartment.? And I'm single, and I'm like, 'Yeah, OK.'"
Nicole continued, "You're there in a baseball cap ? and you wouldn't talk. You didn't say anything ? and then you put a video game on or something. I'm like, 'This is so bad.'"

Nicole Kidman?s wax figure covers the January issue of Elle. Wait, what?s that? No joke? That?s the real Kidman posing on the cover?! Get out of town. The Dior shorts cover is the subscriber?s cover and it?s terrible. The newsstand cover is a little bit better. Anyway, Nicole covers the January issue because she?s promoting Paddington, which still looks terrifying to me but I?ve heard some people say that it?s actually a lovely family film. Nicole has had a really rough year with the passing of her father and, to a lesser degree, the utter failure of Grace of Monaco. Nic needs a win! So maybe Paddington will be that win. Some highlights from her interview:
Why she married Keith Urban after dating for a month: “I’m spontaneous. I jump in. I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other; I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it’s a more natural process.”
Noticing that the 38-year-old interview was pregnant: ?I had my last one at 43. My grandmother had her last at 49. Every month, I?m like, ?I hope I?m pregnant!?? ?Off the record,? interjects her publicist, who?d been waiting nearby to escort her into hair and makeup. ??Off the record?? I don?t mind!? Kidman says. ?Why not, right? I wish I was!?
This is what Sheryl Crow says about Kidman: ?I think that she has been very poised throughout her public life, and sometimes people will misconstrue that; they see her as being an ice queen. The kind of scrutiny she?s been subjected to can?t be comfortable, and she?s dealt with it by being very careful?that?s what gives people the wrong idea. She?s not someone we?re going to see out paddle-boarding in a G-string; she doesn?t set up situations where she?s playing to the paparazzi. She?s more old-school than that. She?s not that kind of movie star.?
On Kubrick, Cruise and Eyes Wide Shut: She credits the legendary Stanley Kubrick, who directed her and Cruise in 1999?s Eyes Wide Shut, for encouraging her: ?He would always say, ?You?re a character actress, Nicole. Don?t play leading ladies. Go and find the character roles.?? In fact, she says, she loved working with Kubrick so much that she didn?t mind the famously drawn-out, two-year shoot…and neither did her then husband. ?We loved it. Everyone thought that was when our marriage started to break down?not at all. That movie was a great part of our life together, and I?m glad we have it.?

Did she really only know Keith for a month before they got married? I feel like they were together for longer than that, but maybe she?s talking about getting engaged after a month. Which is still kind of wacky when you think about it. And I love that Elle published that bit about Nicole?s publicist barking ?OFF THE RECORD? when Nicole talked about babies. What, is it a state secret that Nicole wishes she could be pregnant right now? I believe that too ? she?s baby-crazy right now. Maybe she and Keith should adopt a kid?

Showing some love to her Australian fans, Nicole Kidman showed up at the Sydney premiere of ?Paddington? on Sunday (December 7). The ?Moulin Rouge? actress was all smiles as she posed with a life-sized bear at the Event Cinemas George Street prior to the big screening.
Ms. Kidman recently told The Guardian that while she?s in a good place now, the past year has been quite difficult for herself and her loved ones following the death of her father Antony Kidman.
?Personally [it?s been] really really really hard. My family underwent a massive tragedy. So not my favorite year. But I try not to be ungrateful ? I?m grateful to be alive... We?ve gone through a really tough time this year as a family. It?s so nice to be able to take care of each other.?

It?s almost like the producers were trying bury the fact that they made this film!!! The world premiere for Paddington – the film about a huge, creepy, CGI Paddington Bear ? was held in London on Sunday night. Most people forgot about it because it was the same night at the AMAs, obviously, which is why I?m so late in getting to these photos.
From what I know of the film (not much), Paddington Bear is now voiced by Ben Whishaw after Colin Firth ?consciously uncoupled? from the work at the last minute (it was so late in the game, there were already previews using Colin?s voice out in the world). Whishaw was brought in to give Paddington Bear a nicer, softer, less creepy voice, hoping to offset the fact that actors are interacting with a CGI terror. You can see the trailer for the film here.
Nicole Kidman plays the villainess in the film and she wore a wig for much of it, I guess (I don?t care). For the premiere, her hair was not the best ? I really wish she would stop with this too-light color. I think she would actually achieve a more youthful look (which is what she?s been aiming for all these years) if she just went back to a darker shade of red. Nicole?s dress is Prada Resort 2015. It?s not the best, but not the worst either. And I do like she?s holding her own umbrella. Her face looks? tight. Like if she smiles too much, it hurts.
I?m also including photos of Keith Urban, Ben Whishaw (adorable) and for some reason, Kate Moss. Moss brought her daughter Lila Grace and another child (I?m assuming the other little girl is Lila?s friend?). It?s cute to me that Kate Moss came out for this.

Her new movie ?Paddington? is slated to hit theaters on January 16th and Nicole Kidman hung out with a bunch of her younger fans for a little ?Paddington Storytime? in Brentwood, Tennessee on Thursday (November 6).
The ?Eyes Wide Shut? actress showed off her motherly side as she read from the book while children and parents listened closely.
Meanwhile, Nicole told People that she loves to dance, especially because her husband Keith Urban enjoys watching.
?Last night. I was watching Dancing with the Stars, and I got up and danced to an old Captain & Tennille song, ?Love Will Keep Us Together.? Keith [Urban] was like, ?Gosh, please continue to do that till the day we die!??

More photos from last night?s CMA Awards. It was actually a decent event, you know? You can see the list of last night?s winners here. Nicole Kidman came to support husband Keith Urban. Shockingly, Nicole looked perfectly fine. I looked at some closeups and her face didn?t even look crazy-Botoxy. Her boho dress is Roberto Cavalli. It?s not that great, but my problem with it is mostly a tailoring and lining issue. The top part of her gown wasn?t lined properly and there are some photos of Nicole?s ?girls? peeking out.
Lily Aldridge wore custom Calvin Klein. Sexy. Not really what I would think of for the CMAs.
Lucy Hale in Romona Keveza Fall 2014. She was one of the few ladies in red, so she really stood out. It?s a pretty look.
Jennifer Nettles was one of my favorite looks of the night! Nettles usually gets it wrong with her gowns and styling, so I?m pleased to say that she looked pretty perfect last night. Her gown is Christian Siriano Resort 2015. Beautiful, right?
Connie Britton in Naeem Khan. This was one of my least favorite looks ? I just think she could do loads better than this.
Kimberly Perry in Georges Hobeika Spring 2014. This is one of my other favorite looks of the night!

It was a sea of cowboy boots and 10-gallon hats outside the Bridgestone Arena as Keith Urban made his arrival at the 48th Annual CMA Awards tonight (November 5).
Joined by his lovely wife Nicole Kidman, the ?Days Go By? star was in great spirits as he mingled with fellow guests during one of the hottest Nashville nights of the year.
This year Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to host the massive event, featuring performers like Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw.
As for the Entertainer of the Year nominees, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, George Strait and Luke Bryan are all in the running alongside Urban.

Hoping over the border, Nicole Kidman arrived in Seoul, South Korea this afternoon (October 2) to promote her campaign with Omega De Ville Prestige.
The ?Paddington? actress looked lovely in a form-fitting black gown as she struck a few poses for the press and showed off the Butterfly timepiece on her delicate wrist.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Kidman broke her silence after losing her father unexpectedly last month.
?We would just like to thank everyone for their love and prayers over these past couple of weeks," Nicole said in a joint-statement posted on Facebook with her husband Keith Urban.
"We are all heartbroken, but knowing we are in the hearts and thoughts of others is so comforting.?

Last week Dr. Antony Kidman passed away in Singapore and this morning (September 15) Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban jetted into Sydney, Australia to meet with family and make funeral arrangements.
The ?Moulin Rouge? actress and her ?God?s Been Good To Me? country crooner hubby both looked understandably somber as they arrived at Nicole?s mom?s house in the Greenwich neighborhood, carrying a large bouquet of flowers.
As a result of the family tragedy, Keith has cancelled several concerts, including a charity event in California.
He wrote, ?I'm so very sorry that I cannot perform this weekend. We are in a deep state of grief at the passing of Nic's Father and are heading to Australia to be with family. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their love, prayers and support through this devastating loss.?
