Sandra Bullock is having another great year. Unfortunately for her, that?s usually when the bottom drops out on her. The Heat made more money than analysts expected, and it?s on track to get a sequel (plus, it was just a really funny movie). Gravity is making crazy money too, and it?s got great reviews and Sandy will probably get another Oscar nomination out of it. Plus, she gets to hang out with George Clooney and her little man Louis. All is well with the world. Well, now Star Mag says that Sandra is so blissed-out on life, she?s determined to adopt another kid.
Sandra Bullock is reportedly adding a new addition to her adorable family which includes her precious boy, Louis, 3. Sandra had such a great experience with adopting her son that she is now going through the process to welcome her second child, according to multiple reports.
Sandra, 49, adopted her son Louis in 2010, when he was a newborn. Now, the adorable mom/son duo are reportedly planning for a new addition!
?Sandra wants her son to have the same type of upbringing that she enjoyed, and for him to develop a lifelong bond with a sibling. That is the main reason she?s expanding her family,? a friend told Star magazine.
Louis is ?a mama?s boy,? explains the magazine?s source. ?So Sandra thought he would adjust better to having a little sister than a brother. This way, as he gets older, he will be the man of the house, looking out for both Sandra and his sister.?
Sandra has been loving every minute of her son Louis? first few years, and did not rush into adopting another child.
The adoption process itself does take some time, as does adjusting to new motherhood!
?She always said the time would come when she?d give Louis a sibling, most likely a little girl,? an inside source told OK! magazine. ?She already has the paperwork in progress. She?s gone through her usual adoption lawyer, who also helped Charlize Theron. It can take up to two years, but she put the green light on it earlier this year.?

If it?s happening, then good for her and God bless. If it?s not, it?s none of my business. I have no desire to climb up in Sandy?s personal life at this point. I?ll celebrate her successes both personal and professional but I have no interest in inserting some tabloid angle into things. IF she is considering another adoption (which could totally be the case), I suspect we won?t know for sure about it until she brings the kid home. And even then, she?ll probably wait like she did with Louis. I seriously doubt that any potential adoption will be used to further Sandra?s Oscar campaign.

I really like the Giambattista Valli dress Sandra Bullock wore to the premiere of “Gravity” last night in New York. That shoulder draping looks like a tiny angel wing. Aw, we love you, Sandy!

There were a lot of big-name celebrity women at last night?s NYC premiere of Gravity. At first I thought, ?Oh, that?s nice, ladies came out to support Sandra Bullock!? But really, I think some of these ladies came out for George Clooney, because they heard he was in the market for a new girlfriend. Which made it extra-funny to see Katie Holmes there! What if Katie Holmes and George Clooney had a fling?! The gossip universe would meltdown.
As for Sandra, she wore this Giambattista Valli Resort 2014 dress and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. I?m okay with the dress but I loathe those shoes. While promoting Gravity at the film festivals, Sandra had been wearing more color and it was so good ? I?m sad to see her go back to monochromatic stuff. Clooney looks very dapper too ? this is the best he?s looked in a while, right?
Emma Watson was at the premiere ? she wore this really cute little J.Mendel dress. This a great little dress!
Here?s Katie Holmes in hot pink. I don?t have the designer ID for this. She looks good in this color, but I?d like to see something different with her hair. It looks like she put her greasy, unwashed hair into a high ponytail, which is so wrong because Katie actually does have lovely, thick hair. Update: the dress is Azzedine Alaia.

Pitching in on promotional efforts for her upcoming film "Gravity," Sandra Bullock showed up on the set of the "Today Show" in NYC on Tuesday (October 1).
During her interview with Matt Lauer, the "Miss Congeniality" star revealed the upcoming drama is more than just her and George Clooney stuck in space.
"It was actually the perfect setup for feeling lonely, feeling lost, feeling frustrated," Miss Bullock explained. "Once you started using it, instead of fighting all the time, it make it what it was."
Also discussing her preserved cemented hands and feet outside the TCL Chinese Theater, formerly known as Grauman's Chinese Theater, Sandra revealed what it felt like to have her son Louis by her side at the ceremony on September 25.
"You try not to make a lot out of it, but having him [there]... he's made everything sweet," the 49-year-old stated.
"Later on when he hates me and I'm an embarrassment, I'll say, 'Come here, let me show you what we did when you were younger and how much you liked mike at that time," she jokingly added.

She has always been known as one of Hollywood?s best actresses, and on Wednesday (September 25), Sandra Bullock cemented her place as an A-lister during a ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Glammed up in an orchid print dress, the ?Blind Side? beauty immortalized her hands and footprints in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 49-year-old actress has shown no sign of slowing down career wise, as she is stars alongside George Clooney in the sci-fi drama ?Gravity,? which opens in theaters on October 4.
Sandra is also voicing a character in the animated ?Minions,? and is rumored to be reprising her role as Sarah in ?The Heat 2.?

Ack! Her hair. As I previewed on Sunday, Sandra Bullock covers the October issue of Vogue. She?s promoting Gravity, which could seriously be an awards-contender this awards season. I wouldn?t mind it at all if Sandra got nominated for some stuff, but we?ll see. As for this Peter Lindbergh photoshoot? it?s pretty except for the hair. I don?t know why they gave her bangs and a bouffant?? My first thought was that they were trying to do a retro ?Astronaut?s Wife? hairstyle, or am I overthinking it? You can read Sandra?s full Vogue interview here ? I?ve just skimmed it, and while it?s interesting, the most interesting quotes are kind of buried at the end.
On Gravity: ?You check it off and go, ?If it ends here, I?ve ended up on top.? There?s nothing else to do.?
After filming Gravity, she did The Heat: ?I need my funny? In comedy you just know right away,? says Bullock. ?Melissa?s pure genius, you know? Everyone was just waiting to see what would come out of that woman?s mouth.?
On The Blind Side: ?I turned it down three, four times,? she says. ?I was so worried about it being a Lifetime movie.? Director John Lee Hancock convinced her otherwise, but the first week of shooting was rocky. Bullock admits she struggled to find her rhythm playing Leigh Anne Tuohy, a larger-than-life Memphis powerhouse. ?I could not make it work,? Bullock recalls. ?I thought, I?m going to get roasted. I?m going to get creamed for this.?
On Jesse James and her divorce: ?We?re all where we?re supposed to be,? she says now. ?I am exactly where I want to be now. You can?t go backward. I?m not going backward. I?m grateful that I?m here, blessed to have what I have. Nobody can be prepared for anything. If you end up in a place where you can look back and go, ?It happened, but I?m so lucky to be sitting where I am sitting. . . .? ? Bullock doesn?t complete the thought, but it is clear what she means.
On Louis: ?I think this business can take the child out of kids so quickly,? she says. ?I don?t want him to have pressures brought on by what I do. I will quit. I will leave. If I see whatever I?m doing affecting him negatively, I will pack up and move to Alaska.?
Future plans: ?I?m just sort of seeing where life goes,? she says. She is open to the idea of more children. ?If all of a sudden someone said, ?You have five more kids,? I?d be totally OK with it.? At the moment, ?I?m having such an amazing time. Whatever comes our way, we handle as a family. It?s not just me anymore.?

Most of the piece is about Gravity, and it?s becoming increasingly clear that Sandra is positioning herself ? and that she?s being positioned by producers and the studio ? as an awards contender. And Sandra seems ?up? for it this year. She?s matured a lot the past few years, although it?s not like she was ever flaky or immature in the first place. She just seems calmer, less eager to please, more reticent. It will be interesting to see how that plays out when the studio really wants her to campaign.

Here a preview of the October issue of Vogue ? I?m sure the full interview and editorial starring Sandra Bullock will be out on Monday or Tuesday. For now we just have the cover, which is? okay. I like the idea of putting her in a backless dress and shooting her looking over her shoulder. I like what I see of the dress. I like Sandra?s serious expression too ? I?m glad she?s not doing some mouth-breathing Sexy-face. So what?s wrong? I guess it?s her hair. It looks like she?s wearing an unfortunate wiglet from The Travolta Collection. It?s throwing off everything else.
That being said, I am looking forward to seeing the editorial and reading the interview. Since The Badness (Jesse James, Bombshell McGee, etc), Sandra hasn?t done many magazine interviews at all (notable exception: the People Mag cover story she did when she introduced Louis to the world). I?m trying to remember the last time she covered a major monthly magazine and I?m drawing a blank. So, if it?s been as long as I think, that means Sandra is going to pull out all the stops to promote Gravity. Which means she thinks she might be a contender for some awards. Which should get interesting! When Sandra won for The Blind Side, she was up against Meryl Streep that year. And that will happen again this year.
Speaking of the Oscars and all of that, Sandra gave an interesting interview to The Vancouver Sun when she was at TIFF ? you can read the full piece here, and here are some highlights:
On attending the Oscars: ?I don?t think anybody can honestly feel comfortable at the Oscars. It is such a frighteningly powerful night of emotion, and you have on a dress that hurts somewhere and they?re making fun of you, and the fashion choice you wore.?
Her director Alfonso Cuaron. ?He?s been working on this for five years and nobody was sure it would work,? she said.
Playing a character who just lost a child: ?Who wants to even imagine that?? said Bullock, the divorced single mother of Louis, who was adopted in 2010. ?It was horrible to go there, and especially with someone who was not able to show her emotions and who might have been just as happy if she perished.? Lucky for her, in between those 14-hour days, ?I had the luxury of unscrewing my head, going home to smooch my boy.?
On George Clooney: ?We?ve known each other for 20 years, but that doesn?t mean we knew we were going to click on screen. George is a life force, and very much like his astronaut, he was born to live and die doing what he?s doing.? So would they consider doing another movie together? ?We would like it to be on the ground ? something where we could be in the same room,? said Bullock, smiling. ?Even if it takes another 20 years, it would be worth it.?

Now I?m kind of hoping she will get nominated for some awards. That means the Best Actress race is tightening up a bit too ? I think Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett will definitely get nominations, and the wild cards are Sandra, Amy Adams, Emma Thompson (for that Walt Disney movie), and maybe Marion Cotillard. Sounds about right ? last year the Best Actress Oscar went to a ?new girl? (Jennifer Lawrence) so it sounds like the Academy might over-correct and give it to someone who has been around for a while.

Y?all know I wouldn?t mind seeing George Clooney and Sandra Bullock get together. Most of you disagree with me, but I?m still holding to that opinion ? they would be fascinating and wonderful as a couple. Unfortunately, George didn?t care enough to come to Toronto to promote Gravity with Sandy, so in his absence, Sandy has been talking about their ?20 year? friendship (for real?) and how her son Louis LOVES Clooney. This story made my day.
For the first time, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney have teamed up on the big screen, for their new space drama Gravity. Turns out, the two superstars are not just costars, but good pals, as well.
“George and I have known each other for over 20 years. We’ve known each other since we got out of college and we have the same group of friends,” the Oscar-winning actress, 49, told reporters at Monday’s Gravity press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival.
“We knew each other since we had no work,” she quips. Despite their subsequent fame and success, Bullock says Clooney, 52, has remained the same person except for one thing.
“He has better hair now!” she kids. “There’s less of it, which I appreciate. The big curls were cute, but you know ? Really, he’s taken his blessed life and done amazing things with it.?
Bullock may adore The Monuments Men star, but the biggest Clooney fan is her 3-year-old son, Louis.
“My son thinks he’s a very cool dude. If there was a choice between me and George and [director] Alfonso [Curan], my son will leave to go with George and the guys,? she says. “He’s a boys’ boy ? he has to go and talk to the men.”
Recently, little Louis even requested to have some male-bonding time.
“He asked, ‘Where’s George and Rande [Gerber]?’ I’m like, ‘What? I don’t know.’ He goes, ‘I need them.’ We went to meet with them and they had man time. I stood off to the side and waited for them to finish,” she says with a laugh, “and then I was allowed to take him back.”
The proud mom appreciates Clooney’s willingness to spend time with her son.
“George is a good man, and I’m really proud to have known him for this time and the human being he’s become,? she said. “He’s a good egg.”

I forgot that Gravity was coming to TIFF just after the big premiere in Venice last week! George Clooney was not in attendance at the TIFF premiere though ? I wonder why? I think he was scheduled to appear, but I guess he pulled out?? So we just have photos of Sandra Bullock. Which is still pretty great. Sandy wore this Narciso Rodriguez dress to last night?s premiere. You know what? I like it. I like that Sandra seems to have finally figured out her style to a certain extent. She?s been gravitating more towards clean, minimalist looks the past few years and it?s such an improvement. The color-blocking is okay here ? it?s done well, so I approve. Her shoes are Christian Louboutin ?Geo?. Last thing: Sandy has one thing in common with Gwyneth Paltrow ? the center-part rut. Try a side-part!
Thandie Newton at the premiere of Half of a Yellow Sun. She wore a surprisingly cute Stella McCartney dress. Seriously, this is one of the best Stella dresses I?ve ever seen. Also: she?s pregnant again. For the third time. She?s 40 years old?? I thought she was older, quite honestly.
Mireille Enos at the premiere of The Devil?s Knot. She wore Catherine Malandrino. I?m fine with the silhouette, but the color is wrong. I would have loved this in a teal or a blood red or even in gray. Also: I love that she?s married to Cameron from Ferris Bueller?s Day Off. That never fails to make me smile.
Reese Witherspoon also at The Devil?s Knot premiere. She wore this really gorgeous little Jason Wu dress. She looks great! The dress is super-flattering and it?s nice to see Reese looking sober-ish.
Hilary Swank at the Inspiration Gala. She?s in a terrible black lace Gucci. Widow doily. DONE.
