Sandra Bullock covers the latest issue of Glamour Magazine. The editorial is fresh and pretty. They dressed her in playful preppy clothes and her personality comes through in the photos. In the interview, Bullock gets candid and opens up somewhat about her career and motherhood. She was actually interviewed by her costar, Zoe Kazan, which could explain why she’s so chatty. Bullock hints about some of the things she went through in the aftermath of her divorce while focusing on how it changed and shaped her as a person. She’s a smart cookie and she’s tough. I enjoyed reading this and found myself nodding a little at some of things she said. She also revealed that her role in the film Our Brand is Crisis, which is out later this month, was originally written for a man. She requested that the gender be switched and was given the part.
Here’s some of what she told Glamour:
On not being asked to be ‘the girl’ in films
“They didn’t want me to be the girl. ?Cause I wasn’t classically beautiful. I loved comedy. I was the best friend. I wasn’t a leading lady. It allowed me to express myself in a more authentic way. Because I didn’t fit a certain type, it gave me the career I wanted.”
On requesting to make her character a woman instead of a man
“I did as my mother did: I put my blinders on and blazed forward. Sometimes you get a no. But I expect the no. I don’t expect the yes. With this I got very nervous. I didn’t know if George [Clooney] had made this for himself. But the response was ‘We’re cool with it.’”
On her youth and feeling like an adult
“I did some stupid things in college. Fact that I didn’t wind up in jail: miracle. Miracle! So I’m grateful for that. But, you know, I don’t feel like I was an adult till about five years ago.
I literally went, ‘I know who I am.’ Not completely. But about two years ago all the puzzle pieces came together. I went, ‘This is who I like. This is who I am.’
The events that gave her self knowledge
“Motherhood and divorce?and not just divorce but the onslaught. Again, I let it affect me. I heard it all. And I had to step back and go, ?I have the greatest gift in little Louis, and I’m gonna let him see the woman I want him to know.’ So a child forces you to get your sh-t together. In the best way.”
On if she thinks about the peril that African-American men face in our country
Men and women. [I think about it] Every day. Tearing up again. You see how far we?ve come in civil rights?and where we?ve gotten back to now. I want my son to be safe. I want my son to be judged for the man he is. We are at a point now where if we don?t do something, we will have destroyed what so many amazing people have done. You look at women?s rights; it?s turning into a mad, mad world out there. But sometimes it needs to get really loud for people to say, ‘I can?t unsee this.’ If I could ride in a bubble with him for the rest of his life, I would. But I can?t.

Well that was fast. About a month after introducing the press to her new boyfriend, photographer Bryan Randall, 49, he’s moved in with her. What’s more is that Sandra is said to have just adopted a baby girl. She also has a son Louis, 5, whom she adopted as a single mom in the wake of her high profile split from douchebag Jesse James. Sandra was spotted bringing the baby into a hospital, and outlets are reporting that she’s adopted a sibling for Louis. Here’s US Magazine’s report. They’ve run insider stories from Sandra so I suspect this is true:
Sandra Bullock made room in her seven-bedroom, 8,000 square foot Beverly Hills estate for one more. The star?s boyfriend of less than a year, Bryan Randall, ?still has his place, but he?s living at Sandra?s,? a source says. [Sandra], 51, and the photographer, 49, enjoy quiet nights at home with 5-year-old Louis, who [sic] Bullock adopted in New Orleans in 2010. ?Bryan and Sandra are total homebodies,? adds the source. But Bullock did venture out the evening of September 27. She was photographed carrying a baby girl into an LA hospital, leading some to speculate the actress adopted another child. (Her rep didn?t return calls for comment.) The move wouldn?t surprise Bullock?s pals. ?Sandra is a great mom,? says an insider. ?She?s very attentive.?

Radar reports that it’s true that Sandra has adopted a girl, and that she’s hoping Bryan will be a father figure. Remember how Sandra experienced that terrifying home invasion and had to hide in her closet, which was also equipped as a safe room? That was in June, 2014. After that she got a gorgeous German Shepherd for protection and hired a bodyguard. She met Bryan when he was hired to photograph Louis’s birthday party in January. He seems like somewhat of a badass and he probably makes her feel safe after all that she went through.
If it’s true that Sandra adopted a baby girl congratulations! I hope we’ll hear more about the baby as Sandra promotes Our Brand is Crisis, which is out at the end of the month. After that she might head to Wyoming, if that story from yesterday was true.

Sandy wore this Roksanda Illincic dress in black and yellow ? the colors of the Minions ? and she wore these absolutely AMAZING Minions-themed pumps by Rupert Sanderson. They are literally Minion-heels.
Sandy voices the character of Scarlet Overkill, the new villain in the Minions? world. She basically admits that she agreed to voice the villain character because of her son, saying: ?I wanted to do something that he could see, that I was in.” She also told the BBC that she loves that she?s voicing a villain because ?As an actor, being a villain is a great thing. Everyone wants to be able to do that. And we’re human beings – we’re crabby – so to be able to be mean the entire time you’re working? Super-cute. And no, no one believes that Sandy is secretly a bitchy villain in real life. She?s America?s Sweetheart! She really is, more than anyone else these days. Julia Roberts? Not so much. Jennifer Aniston? Eh. Sandy is the Sweetheart.
PS? I wouldn?t mind seeing Hamm and Bullock play opposite each other in a rom-com, you know? Their coloring is a little brother-sister, but I bet they would have chemistry together.

Naming Sandra Bullock the Most Beautiful Person in the World is sort of like naming Tom Hanks ?the Nicest Dude in the World.? It?s an obvious choice, and it?s a choice that will give People Magazine very little controversy. The past cover ladies have included Lupita Nyong?o (2014), Gwyneth Paltrow (2013), Beyonce (2012) and Jennifer Lopez (2011). The ?most beautiful? does skew towards moms, but to give People Mag some credit, they?ve been doing more diverse lists over the past decade or so. Anyway, part of the agreement when one is named Most Beautiful is an in-depth interview with People. You can read Sandra?s full interview here. She talks mostly about being a mom to son Louis. Some highlights:
When she heard she was ?Most Beautiful?: She laughed. “No, really. I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous.? I’ve told no one.”
Beauty in LA: ?Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that.? No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”
Conversations with Louis: “[I?m] listening to him tell me why he was going to marry his girlfriend. But then we were having Sunday dinner, and he said he changed his mind. I just told him, ‘Always love those who want to love you back and are nice to you.’ Then we moved back to Legos and ‘Why are you making me eat broccoli?’ ”
Her workouts with Body By Simone four to five times a week: “I love that it’s not big weights, you move the entire time, it’s a torture chamber of sorts. When I started, I could barely do 20 seconds, and I’m not kidding. I’m crying on the floor, and she’s like, ‘Are you a smoker?’ I was like, ‘I hate you.’ ”
What Louis says about her wrinkles: “I was putting him to bed and told him that even when I’m old and gray and more wrinkly than I am now, I’ll still love him and want to tuck him in. And he asked why I have wrinkles, and I said, ‘Well, I hope some of them are from laughing so much.’ And he touched my face and said, ‘You’re not old, you’re just happy.’ ”

She talks a lot about how she is as a mother, that she maintains the rules but she lets all of Louis?s aunties and uncles spoil him. She also says that she doesn?t want Louis to know she?s an actress because ?I want it to be so inconsequential and such a nonissue. I want him to be embarrassed by me like all other parents.”

With plenty of hit movies and an impressive collection of accolades, Sandra Bullock can score a table at any restaurant in Tinseltown.
However, when it came time to decide on a location for her 50th birthday celebration, the ?Gravity? gal opted for a trip to Wyoming.
Sandra and her crew kicked things off Thursday (July 24) at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole, and it looks like they all had a blast.
An eyewitness told People, "They said they kept it [quiet] because she sometimes likes to just act like a normal person. They came out and danced and took a bunch of pictures."
One of those photos, posted by Chelsea Handler, included a Pink thong and a full moon, along with the caption, ?Birthday girls.?

Enormous fame can unfortunately bring about some scary situations. When fans get overly obsessed, they may go to great lengths to meet their favorite star and Sandra Bullock knows all too well what that type of situation looks like.
In a newly obtained document, we learn that the Oscar-winning actress' home intruder Joshua Corbett waited outside the star's bedroom when he trespassed inside her home last month.
According to TMZ, the police report that Sandra heard a loud noise inside her home at approximately 1 a.m. When she went to shut her bedroom door, she saw Corbett standing in the hallway, wearing dark clothes. Bullock slammed and locked her door before calling 911. She informed law enforcement that she had showered before going to bed, and that Corbett may have been in her house the entire time.
When police arrived, Corbett reportedly said, "Sandy, I?m sorry! Please don?t press charges.? When he was taken into custody, officers found a notebook with magazine pictures of the brunette beauty and a handwritten note that read, ?I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.?

Preparing for an outbound flight, Sandra Bullock hurried her way through LAX International Airport earlier this week.
Rushing through the busy terminal, the Oscar-winning actress headed to her gate while trying to avoid the awaiting shutterbugs.
Sandra faced a scary situation at her LA home last month when a scaled the fence and entered her property.
Joshua James Corbett was charged with multiple felony counts after authorities found an arsenal of weapons at his home. He reportedly entered Bullock?s home and was inside for several hours.

A few weeks ago, we heard the scrumptuous news that Sandra Bullock (she of the decade of hotness) was dating Chris Evans, a.k.a., “Captain America.” Chris has been crushing on Sandra since her Speed days and even kept posters of her on his teenage bedroom wall. They met in 2012 and reportedly just started dating. We heard that “they really like each other,” but neither of their reps confirmed the relationship. I shipped them pretty hard.
Chris has been able to avoid the press lately, but Sandra hasn’t been so evasive. How is she dealing with the questions of her new rumored man? Sandra’s cracking jokes when people ask her about this new romance: “We’ve since married and it started breaking apart, so we separated. We filed for divorce, and I hope everyone can respect our privacy. But we’re going to remain friends and share responsibility of the farm animals we’ve taken on, because you just can’t abandon the animals.”
Ha. I bet Chris is enjoying the heck out of this. He’s so private, and Sandra is throwing the rumors back at the media. Lainey points out that Sandra used to tease the press the same way way back when she dated Matthew McConaughey. Sandra is very good at letting the press know what she won’t talk about. But yeah. Sandy and Cap are hitting it. Totally.
Now for more Sandra news that isn’t so happy. CB already covered the weekend intruder at Sandra’s home. CNN updates the story and says the man was inside Sandra’s home for over an hour while she slept. The intruder was charged with felony counts of burglary, stalking, and possession of a machine gun. (He did not have the machine gun with him when he broke in.) This is so scary! I am glad that Sandra and her son are okay, and hopefully, the intruder will be locked away.
