Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have been dating for about five years. That seems like forever for a guy who’s known for messing with fragile lady minds and zeroing in on vulnerable women. Given Demi’s history with self harm and an eating disorder, Wilmer could have been a very bad boyfriend choice. They did break up a few times but appeared surprisingly solid for the past few years. He gave her a Tiffany ring in 2013. All along, they’ve stayed very private as a couple.
Things have changed very fast. Demi and Wilmer are making public, smooshy love declarations on Twitter. I expect an engagement announcement soon.

These are photos of Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato looking overenthused on the 2009 red carpet of the Hannah Montana movie. Their smiles look completely fake. Demi looks hyped up on something. To be fair, this was probably the age when she was experimenting with drugs. Demi always overcompensated with a super-chipper mood during the height of her personal troubles.
Demi is promoting her new skincare line, Devonne by Demi, which is such a weird name. Demi still has a very young audience, so perhaps her image will help the company score some sales. Demi promoted her line on the TJ & Loren Amp 103.3 show. The subject of Miley came up, and Demi told it like it is:
TJ and Loren spoke to Demi Lovato about her new skincare line, Devonne by Demi. She also answered some listener questions, including where her friendship with Miley Cyrus stands.
When asked by a listener if they?re still friends, she said: “Um … yeah … that, um? we’re, we’re like, we’re acquaintances … it’s life, and people change, and, you know, I don’t have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best.”

You can listen to the whole episode here. None of it is very interesting except the part about Demi and Miley’s breakup. I do question how tight these two were back in the day. Miley used to mock Demi and Selena Gomez on YouTube. Maybe they simply faked their friendship for press events, or they were “frenemies.”
I definitely understand growing apart from teenage BFFs. Facebook never fails to inform me how little I have in common with the people I went to high school with. Everyone goes in different directions after graduation, and Disney was “high school” for Demi and Miley. Nowadays, Miley is ripping her clothes of in public, dropping Molly and smoking pot. Whereas Demi has been working on her sobriety for years. They have nothing in common. Was their whole friendship a lie? Demi isn’t really dissing Miley here, and Miley’s too busy photoshopping herself in NSFW ways and smoking joints on Instagram to notice.

Here is Demi Lovato taking a night last night off from her busy tour schedule, to the red carpet in Santa Monica, where she attended Vevo CERTIFIED SuperFanFest.
She was all smiles as she posed for pictures, rocking a matching hot Pink two piece-set, while showing off her new blue hair.
Demi performed at the event, along with Iggy Azalea and others, which celebrated music videos that reached more than 100 million views online.

She switches her hairstyle as often as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber split up, and Demi Lovato is once again trying out a new ?do.
The ?Really Don?t Care? songstress just posted a photo of her teal locks, accented with shaved texture on the sides and totally punk rock.
Lovato has been having a blast on her current world tour and it seems the downtime has left her with plenty of opportunity to dream up new hair concepts.
In fact, over the past year, she?s dabbled in cerulean, grey, brunette, purple, pink, and blonde hues, as well as several different cuts.

It?s hard to find an honest and reliable gal pal in Tinseltown, and it looks as if Demi Lovato has kicked Selena Gomez out of her circle of trust.
The ?Heart Attack? songstress un-followed Ms. Gomez on Twitter earlier this week and posted a cryptic tweet that was later deleted.
In the secret message, Demi wrote, ?Swimming away from the bullsh*t bye b*tch,? though she?s since taken it down.
This isn?t the first time the ?Sonny with a Chance? chick and the ?Come and Get It? singer have hit rocky ground. Last spring, Selena told Seventeen magazine, "I've known her since we were 7, and we did fall apart for a while. She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, 'OK, I don't understand what she's going through so I'm just going to do this.' I don't think it was fair. I'm so happy that I have her back in my life now."

Always a supporter of gay rights, Demi Lovato was named the Grand Marshall of the 2014 LA Pride Parade on Sunday afternoon (June 8).
The ?Skyscraper? singer belted out her hit songs while being driven through the streets of Hollywood atop a colorful float with the message ?Really Don?t Care.?
Lovato told press, ?I have been an active advocate of the LGBT community and am wholly committed to supporting individuality and being comfortable in one?s own skin.?
Demi will also participate in a similar shindig in New York City later this month. ?I am thrilled to be a part of both events as they are a wonderful celebration of independence and self-confidence,? she added.
