Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Tori Spelling was spotted on her way to CW Studios in New York City today (January 27).
Joined by her husband Dean McDermott (who wore a sling due to a recent motorbike accident), the “90201” babe looked lovely in a faux fur coat as she prepared for the PIX morning show.

Star Magazine?s cover story this week is ?Tori Spelling Collapses!? This is not really news - last week, Dean McDermott was tweeting all over the place about Tori?s hospital stay for an unknown stomach ailment. Star doesn?t really know what kind of health problems Tori is facing, but they join together several stories into a pastiche of nasty gossip. First, according to Star?s sources, Tori has an eating disorder because she?s only ?95 pounds?. I?ve seen recent pictures of Tori, and she?s not 95 pounds. Yes, she?s very thin. But it?s not that extreme.
Secondly - and the biggest part of the story - is that Tori?s hospital stay and mysterious stomach ailment is all

Last week Gatecrasher had an interesting early excerpt from Mary Jo Eustace?s new book, Divorce Sucks: What to do when irreconcilable differences, lawyer fees, and your ex?s Hollywood wife make you miserable. Mary Jo is the ex-wife of Dean McDermott, who very publicly and suddenly dumped her for Tori Spelling back in 2005. Last week?s book excerpt was all about how the producers of Tori and Dean?s reality show wanted Mary Jo to come on and make a ?guest? appearance confronting Tori. Mary Jo refused - just as she refuses to let her kids on Tori and Dean?s show. I commented that it seemed like Mary Jo seemed pretty mature.
Now Star Magazine is carrying several more excerpts from Mary Jo?s book, and I?m questioning her maturity and her ability to simply move on from her divorce. She really seems like she has an ax to grind. Of course, wouldn?t you have an ax to grind if your husband left you for Tori Spelling? Yeah? I would be devastated. This excerpt also references the cover story Star ran several weeks ago about Tori and Dean?s loveless marriage. There?s even a quote from the source of that article, Michael Olifiers. Here?s some more from Mary Jo:
Mary Jo on how Tori Spelling was like Hiroshima: ?I guess I always knew that after the years of mini bombs, one day there would be a big, fat Hiroshima? I just didn?t know that Hiroshima would be Tori Spelling.?
Mary Jo on why Dean left her: Dean told Mary Jo that he was leaving her for ?his soul mate?. But she believes it was always about money and fame. ?He tells me that money will never be a problem.? Dean told his friend Michael Olifiers, ?You have no idea what this is going to do for my career! I?m with Tori Spelling now. I?m going to make millions!?
Mary Jo on her disappointment that women didn?t rally to support her: ?I just assumed everyone would rally around and support me, especially the women? Well, not if these women wanted to meet Tori Spelling.?
MJ on seeing a photo of a cowboy-clad Tori with her legs wrapped around Dean: ?I will never feel the same way about cowboy boots again.?
MJ on meeting Tori Spelling for the first time: ?Was there an area of misery and humiliation that I hadn?t fully explored? My afternoon companion with two blonde pigtails, snugly fitted jeans, and thigh-high boots clicking up my walkway. No recollection of tracksuits [as Tori had described her outfit for the incident]? but then again, I am getting older. Although I was tempted? no broken bones.?
MJ on Dean introducing their son Jack to Tori after 2 weeks of dating: ?My son was confused? I told him that it was his father?s girlfriend, and that he needed to talk to his dad about her.? Dean denied the relationship. ?Then I had to stand there while my 7-year-old son confronted me and called me a liar! To this day, it still gets me angry.?
MJ on Tori the Usurper: Mary Jo came across a photo of Tori, Dean and Jack with an accompanying interview with Tori. ?Tori said, ?She loved hanging out with ?her boys? and that they ?were like the three amigos,? doing everything together. My family had been officially usurped. What exactly is wrong with these women pouncing on families when they?re being dismantled??
[From Star Magazine, print edition, October 12 2009]
Although I have sympathy for Mary Jo, I don?t think she?s coming across well. She seems very bitter and very much like she?s wallowing in self-pity. She also seems like she?s using Tori as much as she would have us believe Dean is using Tori. Look - I could totally understand how Mary Jo couldn?t stand Tori and everything, but Mary Jo is feeding her own drama and neurosis by picking apart everything Tori and Dean do. It?s pretty obvious that Mary Jo sat down with Tori?s books and read them cover to cover, taking notes for her own response. It just seems petty, immature and vindictive.

Giving everyone quite a scare, Tori Spelling was admitted to the hospital Monday night after complaining of severe pain in her stomach.
An official statement from her rep yesterday said, “Tori went to the hospital last night for abdominal pain. They released her last night.”
Spelling’s rep continued, “She wasn’t feeling better today (Tuesday), so she returned to the hospital for more tests.”
Keeping fans abreast to the situation, Tori’s husband Dean McDermott wrote on his Twitter page on Monday night, saying, “T is in the hospital now with severe stomach pains. We’re trying to get her comfortable.”
Later in the night, he tweeted, “Just out of the hospital. After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.”

Tori Spelling was hospitalized twice in the past two days for severe stomach pain. Her husband, Dean McDermott, posted updates on his Twitter indicating that Tori had undergone tests and that they didn’t yet know what was wrong. People are inevitably going to make comments that she needs to eat something and speculate that her extreme thinness contributed to whatever is wrong with her. I don’t think that’s fair, because illness can strike any of us and it’s often hard to diagnose at first. If you haven’t experienced anything like that in your life, consider yourself lucky.
Tori Spelling is in recovery mode. From what, nobody knows.
The Inn Love reality star and professional marriage rumor-debunker is currently laid up in a hospital, where she has been receiving treatment for severe stomach pains.
“Tori went to the hospital last night for abdominal pain,” her rep told E! News. “They released her last night. She wasn’t feeling any better today so she returned to the hospital for more tests.”
There’s the clinical, succinct explanation. For the slightly less composed alternative, we turn to Spelling’s concerned hubby, Dean “Twitter Play-by-Play” McDermott.
“The hits just keep coming!!” he wrote yesterday. “T is in the hospital now with severe stomach pains. We’re trying to get her comfortable.
“Will keep you updated the best I can. Phone battery is dying.”
A man of his word, McDermott kept his followers abreast of Tori’s state later last night.
“Just out of the hospital. After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.”
There have been no further updates from McDermott on his wife’s condition, but we’re sure another is on the way. Just as soon as he finishes doling out cross-state trick-or-treating advice.

Dean also tweeted that he was in the hospital 10 days ago for a bad stomach virus (which kind of sounded like food poisoning to me) and that both of his children with Tori, Stella, 15 months, and Liam, 2 and a half, had the flu and then colds last week. It sounds like something is going around at their house and I hope that Tori recovers soon. There are all sorts of things that can cause bad abdominal pain and hopefully it isn’t anything serious.

Tori Spelling is a homewrecker. Just thought I?d get that out there, because I have been accused of bias about some of my favorite homewrecking girls. Tori ?stole? Dean McDermott from his wife, son and newly adopted daughter back in 2006. Tori ?stole? him even though Dean is an adult man, not a tube of lipstick. It is all Tori?s fault. Meh. What I really think is that people fall in and out of love, that sh-t gets complicated, and that you should try to be as honest as possible.
CB and MSat have different views on this- they think both Tori and Dean are selfish asses, which is totally legit. I get why some people hate them. I?m just saying this - I watch their show sometimes, and I think they?re in love. I think it?s for real. Whether or not Dean has ulterior motives for being with Tori (money, fame and horses), I think he and Tori handled the ?homewrecking? the right way - namely, they met, fell in love, and immediately split from their respective spouses, instead of dragging it out for months and lying to everybody.
Dean?s ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace obviously has a different view about the situation. She?s written a new book detailing her side of the story, Divorce Sucks: What to do when irreconcilable differences, lawyer fees, and your ex’s Hollywood wife make you miserable. Gatecrasher has an excerpt from the book, in which Mary Jo details how the producers of Dean and Tori?s reality show wanted Mary Jo to make an ?appearance?.
Tori Spelling should thank her lucky stars ? her hubby’s ex passed up the chance to turn “Tori and Dean” into “Three’s Company.”
In her book “Divorce Sucks,” Dean McDermott’s ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, reveals that a producer approached her to appear on the reality show ? and cause as much controversy as she could.
The Canadian TV chef couldn’t be blamed for wanting to stir things up: Her then-husband had an affair with the “90210? actress, then divorced her and married Spelling in 2006.
In the tome ? due Oct. 19 from Adams Media ? the abandoned Eustace says she considered hitting the small screen to portray herself as a broken woman and gain public sympathy. She even toyed with how she would fit into the show: She could move in next door and make Dean’s life a living hell. Or, she could take the “organic” route, as producers suggested, and “casually” confront Tori ? for two to three hours.
Eustace did end up meeting with the reality show’s honchos, but decided that ? although appreciative of the chance to air her dirty laundry ? she’d leave that to Tori and Dean, thanks. Instead, she took on a different role: Protective mama. Eustace says that, at the very same meeting where she declined the TV offer, she threatened producers that if her son Jack ever appeared on the program again, there’d be trouble.
“I said, ‘If I ever again see my son with a black X across his face on the show without my permission, we’ll be having a whole different type of conversation,’” she writes. She got her wish: Jack has not appeared on the show since.
“I have managed to keep my son off the reality show and cast him in his very own and wonderfully private life,” says Eustace, who’s mostly glad she helped Jack avoid the pitfalls of child stardom. “I mean, seriously ? remember the ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ kids? Enough said.”
[From Gatecrasher]
Mary Jo sounds very mature, although I still think she has an axe to grind if she?s writing a book discussing all of this crap. But the producers sound like idiots. I thought Tori and Dean were producers on the show too? Yeah, they are. At some point, the manufactured drama has to end, for the love of all that is holy. What would happen if Mary Jo actually made an ?appearance? on Tori and Dean?s show? Would the world end? Not really. They would probably sit down and talk about their bullsh-t like adults. Scandal!

Flying under the radar as of late, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott emerged last night (September 18) in Malibu, CA.
The “sTori Telling” author looked beautiful in a black ensemble with a stylish hat to boot while enjoying dinner with her hubby at Tra Di Noi.
As for those tabloid reports stating that Tori and Dean have a loveless marriage, Ms Spelling shot back via Twitter, saying, “R they kiddin? DON’T believe! Uggh. Hate tabloid lies!” Additionally, Tori tweeted, Happiness is the best revenge on the haters!”
And in other news, the blonde beauty recently launched her new line of children’s clothing - called Little Maven - at Bloomingdale’s in New York.

Dude? Star Magazine?s cover story this week is intense. Star has a source named Michael Olifiers, who claims to have been ?friends? with Dean McDermott ?for years? and Michael is telling all. Michael claims that Dean has been plotting against wife Tori Spelling since they met - and that their marriage is totally based on the idea that Dean wanted Aaron Spelling?s millions. Michael says there is ?no question? that all Dean ever wanted from Tori was money and fame, and that Dean has made cruel remarks about Tori behind her back. Something about ?looking like a horse?. Tori?s not the prettiest girl, I?ll admit, but I wouldn?t call her horsey. Let?s face it - she?s not Sarah Jessica Parker.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott seem to have the perfect marriage on their hit show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, but in reality, it’s anything but. According to a friend of Dean’s, their relationship has been a lie since the get-go and Dean has even said Tori looks “like a horse!”
“There is no question Dean is with Tori for the money and the fame,” Michael Olifiers, an actor who’s been friends with Dean for years, tells Star in a world exclusive interview. “Dean’s always been desperate to become famous. He craved being in the spotlight and Tori’s his ticket to that life.”
But he didn’t always have kind words for the woman who became his wife and mother of his two children. The night before Dean left to film Mind Over Murder in 2005, he fired off a barrage of cruel barbs aimed at Tori, says Michael. “I can’t believe I have to kiss her,” Dean joked. “She looks like a horse!”
Yet once the then-married Dean met Tori, who was a newlywed herself, all that changed ? he dumped his wife Mary Jo Eustace and began scheming to latch onto Tori’s fame and fortune.
As her mega-rich father Aaron Spelling lay dying, Dean forced Tori to not make him sign a prenup. But when the legendary TV producer passed away a month after they married, Tori discovered she hadn’t inherited the multi-millions she was expecting.
“Dean was livid,” says Michael. Today, the couple earn a living from their Oxygen reality show and “exploiting their relationship,” says Michael. “They do everything and anything to make money from their fame.”
And Michael warns that his former friend will only stay with Tori if the money keeps rolling in ? and if he cannot hook a bigger or richer star!
Find out more about Dean’s heartless scheme to make millions off Tori and the other names he called her in the new issue of Star, on newsstands now.
[From Star Magazine]
I?ve heard versions of this story before - that Dean was all about Tori for her money (or her dad?s money) and that all Dean wanted was to be rich and famous. I?ve also heard versions that have Aaron and Candy Spelling hating Dean from the start of Tori?s relationship with him, and Aaron being convinced to cut Tori out of the will because of the fear Dean would just take all of the money. Here?s the thing - I could conceivably buy parts of that story (especially the part about the will), except that I do think Dean really loves Tori. I?ve watched their show - and he?s not that good of an actor. He really seems to love her. But what do I know?
What?s strange to me if that Star actually has a named source for all of this stuff. It?s no longer furtive whispers by unnamed sources - they actually have a guy who claims to be friends with Dean. Ten bucks says Michael?s not getting a Christmas card from the McDermott-Spelling house this year.

| Tori Spelling wants to reconcile with Candy, jokes about being 'middle-aged' | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I still have no idea how Tori Spelling got such adorable children - little Stella doesn?t even look like either of her parents. Stella does seem to have inherited her grandmother Candy?s diva attitude, though, because this baby is not happy to be on the Malibu beach. These photos are from a little visit Tori and her family had over the weekend - Tori looks good (for her) and seems happy in the photos. Stella, not so much. Looks like Stella?s having herself a Malibu tantrum on the sand. The baby needs a little hat, perhaps? Her little scalp is going to get sunburned. I bet that sand is hot too.
Tori has really grown on me the past year - I really like the way she handles herself in the press, and I do think she?s trying to be good, low-maintenance mother and wife. As Tori?s mom Candy goes on a daughter-bashing tour, writing open letters and complaining to every media outlet, Tori lets most of the criticisms pass her by. When Tori does speak up, her tone is usually conciliatory and good-humored. Such is the case with Tori?s latest interview. Tori spoke to OK! over the weekend about her mom?s latest anit-Tori publicity tour, and she even spoke out about her mom calling her ?middle-aged?:
Refreshed from a recent trip to the Four Season?s Puta Mita Resort in Mexico, Tori Spelling, accompanied by hubby Dean McDermott, opened up to OK! about her delicate relationship with estranged mother Candy Spelling in an exclusive interview.
?I definitely want to reconcile with my mother, but that?s the wrong word,? Tori confessed to OK!. ?There?s nothing that really happened that made us fight. It?s just time, distance and media that have come between my mom and me.?
Speaking to OK! at the grand opening of A Hollywood Spectacle earlier this week, Tori explained, ?I just think that as long as we both keep it private from here on out, reconciliation is imminent. It will totally happen and I hope that she wants that.?
Candy claimed to have e-mailed prior to missing Stella?s first birthday party, but Tori was almost brought to tears as she discussed how she holds out hope for her mom to come around for her own children.
?I am proud of my kids, but I also want to make my mom proud of me. I?m still a momma?s girl at the heart of the situation,? Tori dished to OK!. ?I look forward to the relationship that Liam and Stella will have with their grandmother one day and I?m confident that it will happen.?
And if Candy calling her daughter a ?middle-aged woman? was meant as a put-down, Tori doesn?t seem to be taking the comment too seriously. ?When you?re in your twenties, you can still wear things like this and then I become a mother of two and wear these six-inch Fendi heels and I?m falling all over the place,? she joked to OK!.
All kidding aside, husband Dean spoke candidly about his own relationship with his now-deceased father and how he can relate to his wife?s heartbreaking situation.
?I know the hurt because I have gone through it,? Dean revealed. ?I know what it?s like to hold out hope and for it to not pan out and to get your feelings hurt again and again. After a while, at the end of the day, you really have to protect yourself and see that it?s not healthy for us? Your family can cause you a lot of pain and heartache.?
[From OK! Magazine]
See, I just think Tori handles herself well. She never ?goes on the attack?. She?s never an outright bitch about anything. I?m not sure if this is Tori?s natural state, or if this is the image she?s concocted, or whatever. I know some people think that Candy and Tori are playing some kind of joke on us, just play-fighting as a way for both of them to get attention. It doesn?t strike me that way - I think Candy really is that much of a harpie, and Tori is really trying to be the opposite of her mother in every possible way.
Here are Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott enjoying the day at Malibu Beach yesterday. Images thanks to WENN.com .
