Kicking off their week more in love than ever, Michelle Williams and Jason Segel were seen out in Los Feliz, CA on Monday (August 20).
The Hollywood duo walked arm-in-arm to their vehicle after dropping the blonde beauty's daughter Matilda at Griffith Park.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the "How I Met Your Mother" actor recently reached out to Kim Ledger, the father of the late actor Heath Ledger, to express his care for their six year-old granddaughter.
A source told website RadarOnline: "Jason got on the phone and introduced himself to Kim, and then invited the Ledgers to use his home whenever they wanted to fly in from Australia to visit Michelle and Maddie.
"Kim was blown away by Jason's generosity and the two hit it off right away. Now Kim's given his blessing for Jason to marry Michelle and be a stepdad to Matilda."

Making the most of the beautiful weather, Michelle Williams and her daughter Matilda strolled around West Hollywood, California yesterday afternoon (August 16).
Doing their best to avoid attracting attention, the ?Dawson?s Creek? star shielded her six-year-old from the shutterbugs as they headed into an optical shop to look for new glasses.
And of course both ladies were well-dressed, with Michelle sporting a black and white dress with black strappy sandals and black sunglasses, while Matilda opted for a colorful striped summer dress.
Coming up next spring (March 8th), Michelle will be starring on ?Oz: The Great and Powerful,? along with James Franco and Mila Kunis.

Stepping out for some fresh air and sunshine, Michelle Williams and Jason Segel were spotted taking a walk in New York City on Saturday (June 23).
The ?My Week with Marilyn? babe and her ?Forgetting Sarah Marshall? stud enjoyed each other?s company and looked cute and casual.
And though they?ve only been together since March, Michelle and Jason are said to be head over heels in love with each other.
An insider told press, ?They are totally in love. [Jason is] obsessed with Michelle and loves Matilda. He?s been doing all sorts of ?dad stuff? with her, like drawing and playing music.?
Another source added that, "Jason is totally smitten. It's like the first girl he's ever been this way with. And Michelle hasn?t been this happy in forever.?

I have to admit something that?s going to make me sound like a loser (big surprise, I know): at one of our photo agencies, WENN, they supply us with promotional stills for some films, and they have a really graphic one for Michelle Williams? new film, Take This Waltz. I have no idea what this film is about. But I do know that at various points in the film, Michelle gets completely naked, and at one point she?s getting boned properly, and the promotional images are incredibly sexy. So, my admission: while I sometimes find Michelle annoying and ?affected?, I have to give her props for some really ballsy performances, and not being afraid of graphic sexual content.
Anyway, these are some new photos of Michelle outside of a ?special screening? for Take This Waltz in NYC. Michelle?s dress is Altuzarra – eh. It?s a boring and cheap-looking LBD, in my opinion. And I think the weird bust tassels are kind of wrong. She?s not Gypsy Rose Lee – her boobs don?t need tassels. Also: I think the white Givenchy shoes are a mistake with the LBD.
In other Michelle news, Us Weekly has a new story about Michelle’s romance with Jason Segel and how loved up they are:
Michelle Williams and Jason Segel are still going strong! After Us Weekly broke the news of their romance in March, the unlikely pair kept a low-profile while Segel promoted The Five-Year Engagement in Europe and Williams prepped for her Take This Waltz press tour. But on June 19, witnesses saw the couple looking “very lovey-dovey” at Broadway’s One Man, Two Guvnors, The New York Post’s Page Six reports. Williams, 31, looked “so pretty” in white, while Segel, 32, wore “a suit.”
The couple stepped out to support James Corden, 33, Segel’s costar in 2010?s Gulliver’s Travels. “Jason loved the play,” a Segel source tells Us. “It was definitely his sense of humor.”
According to the source, Williams and Segel “are totally in love. Jason is obsessed with Michelle.” What’s more, he’s become somewhat of a father figure to Williams’ daughter Matilda, 6 (with her late ex, Heath Ledger). “He’s been doing all sorts of ‘dad stuff’ with her, like drawing and playing music.”
Friends for years via mutual pal Busy Philipps, 32, Segel has only spoken publicly about Williams once, during an April interview with Extra. “I think we would just very much like to be happy,” he said. “That’s all I’m going to say about it.”

Hm? well, I do like it that Jason and Michelle seem to have taken it down a notch – we?re no longer getting breathless daily reports about how Michelle and Jason totally know that they?re going to be together 4 EVA after one month of dating. This caught my eye – ?Jason is obsessed with Michelle?.? Hm. Interesting word choice. I believe that they?re in love and all, I hope it?s going well. But I do wonder.

Capping off a full day in the spotlight, Michelle Williams was the center of attention as she arrived for a special screening of "Take This Waltz" in New York City on Thursday night (June 21).
Clad in a black Altuzarra frock with Givenchy kicks, the 31-year-old actress prettied up the Sunshine Landmark venue while joining alongside co-star Luke Kirby to promote their Sarah Polley directed dramedy - which is set for a limited U.S. release on June 29th.
The screening comes after Miss Williams dropped by ?CBS This Morning? earlier in the day to chat about her new film, saying, ?I always thought about it as a sort of coming of age story, a different kind of coming of age, a kind of unsung period of your life, when you?re making the transition from being a girl into being a woman, and this sort of on-the-cusp kind of thing when you?re trying to leave behind childish things and it?s really a last step into an adult life.?
As for her character?s conundrum, Michelle dished, ?I thought of it as a kind of, as a struggle between her selfish side, her pleasurable side, and her moral side.?
Also starring Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman, ?Take This Waltz? is about ?a happily married woman who falls for the artist across the street.?

Michelle Williams covers the new issue of Flare Magazine, a Canadian fashion mag. Unfortunately, this cover shot is a reprint from Elle UK?s December 2011 issue. Fortunately, the interview seems to be new. It struck me as I was reading the excerpts that we haven?t heard much from Michelle in the past two months. She went undercover, dropping out of view after the awards season and post-awards love-athon with Jason Segel. Jason and Michelle got together in late February, which means that they?ve been together for three-and-a-half months at this point. Is it weird that we haven?t heard much about them over the past six weeks? It?s weird (to me) because Michelle and Jason?s relationship got a very big PR rollout in People Magazine and Us Weekly, and I?m surprised at how little follow-up there?s been. Us Weekly says they?re still together at this point, and maybe Michelle?s Flare interview will give us some insights:
On her personal life: ?I need to keep my life very separate. I live and love and make decisions from a very comfortable and removed place. That’s how it works for me.”
Michelle on her character in Take This Waltz: ?I thought about [this movie] as a coming-of-age story. Not in the pubescent way, but a girl on the verge of becoming a woman, of that transition that you make in your late 20s or early 30s. She?s yet to experience a great kind of sadness. And I think that that?s the thing that kind of plants her into adulthood.?
On relationships: ?You deserve more than just somebody who?s nice to you. I think that so often these days, niceness seems like it should be enough because it seems like such a rare quality but when you get inside of it, you think, ?Hmmm ? I can be pretty nice to myself.? What about these other things? Life is too short and too crappy to not try to get more of what you want.?
On her number one summer rule: ?You should never wear jewelry in the summer. You should always be ready to jump into a lake at any time.?

I understand her point about setting the relationship bar so low that you?ll settle for someone who is just ?nice? to you. It?s a valid point – we should want so much more out of a relationship. But in reality, it sometimes seems really difficult to find someone who is capable of being ?nice,? isn?t it? But that?s me – I?m a cynic. Michelle is an optimist.

Could a reunion show be in the works for the former cast of the late-nineties television show, ?Dawson?s Creek?? According to Michelle Williams, it?s not out of the question.
The 31-year-old actress spoke about the possibility to NYMag?s Vulture at Sunday?s (April 22) premiere of her new film ?Take This Waltz? at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City saying, ?"[James] could totally ask! I've always said, I'm totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows, so we can do that."
Her former co-star, James Van Der Beek, spoke out and shared his interest in making a new installment of the show saying, "I mean, if somebody came up with a brilliant idea how to do it, why not? I always love that Michelle is like, 'I definitely wanna do it! I'm in!' which is so easy for her to say because her character is dead. I always smile when I see that.?
Miss Williams responded, "He has my email! He has my home phone and my cell phone, so we talk."
This isn?t the first time the Oscar-nominated actress has showed interest in the idea. Last Novemember, the blonde beauty told Ryan Seacrest that she would ?do it in a heartbeat? adding, "I would have to go back as a ghost though, because poor Jen Lindley died. But yes!"
Katie Holmes, who played the role of Dawson?s on-again, off-again girl Joey Potter, also expressed that she would get involved with the project while talking to Robin Roberts on Good Morning America in November.
"I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories, a really great group of people," said the 33-year-old actress.

Bringing her charm to the annual Big Apple cinema celebration, Michelle Williams hit the red carpet at the BMCC Tribeca PAC in New York City on Sunday evening (April 22).
The Oscar-nominated actress showed off her sweet smile as she was on hand for the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her new drama titled "Take This Waltz".
Also starring Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman and Luke Kirby, "Take This Waltz" is described as "a funny, bittersweet and heart-wrenching story about a woman struggling to choose between two different types of love."
The Sarah Polley directed work will be available On Demand beginning May 25th while it will reportedly make its way into theaters on a limited basis on June 29th.

They may not be the most likely couple in Tinseltown, but Michelle Williams and Jason Segel certainly seem to have hit it off.
The ?Forgetting Sarah Marshall? stud and the ?My Week with Marilyn? babe are said to be enjoying the beginnings of a romantic relationship and were spotted out in New York City together this past week.
According to an eyewitness, Jason took Michelle out to dinner at Frankie Sputino?s restaurant where they looked ?smitten and very serious.?
The source added, ?He put his arm around her and made her laugh as they walked. They looked very relaxed.?

Michelle Williams, who’s tried to distance herself as much as she can from Dawson’s Creekbut won’t be able to because I’m going to mention it every time she’s in the news, and Jason Segel were caught holding hands while on a “romantic stroll” through Brooklyn. “He put his arm around her and made her laugh as they walked. [They] seemed very relaxed.”
The two know each other through mutual friend Busy Philipps who Jason worked with on Freaks and Geeksbut only now have they started dating. Hey, if Jason plays his cards right maybe he can get a threesome. Though I don’t think Michelle is that type of girl. She looks like she’ll get weepy over anything.
