Putting the well-being of her little boy at a priority, January Jones took Xander to a doctor appointment at the Santa Monica Medical Center on Tuesday (March 12).
The "Mad Men" star was dressed casually in a low-cut white T-shirt, jeans, and black boots as she clung tight to her adorable 1-year-old.
Recently, rumors have been swirling about the 35-year-old actress and Miley Cyrus's fiance, Liam Hemsworth after the two were spotted partying at an after-Oscars bash together.
Meanwhile, Miley is keeping mum, tweeting last week, "not discussing anything but my music from now on" as her hunky man jetted off to Australia to hang out with friends and family.

Ready to head out of town, January Jones caught a flight at LAX Airport on Monday (March 4) in Los Angeles.
Looking chic in black-and-white printed pants and a bright red leather jacket, the ?Mad Men? minx was in a hurry as she wheeled her luggage through the concourse.
The sixth season of the 35-year-old?s hit show premieres with a two-hour special on Sunday, April 7 at 9/8 central on AMC.

January Jones revealed last month that she ate her own placenta following the birth of her son Xander in January, and here it is two months later, and she’s still talking about eating the afterbirth. She tells the April issue of Glamoure:
When she needs some extra energy, January takes some pills made with her own dried placenta, at the suggestion of her doula.
“Your placenta gets dehydrated and made into vitamins,” says Jones. “We’re the only mammals who don’t ingest our own placentas. It’s not witch-crafty or anything. … I suggest it to all moms.”
Just because other mammals do it doesn’t mean we should do it, too. Mammals sometimes eat their own offspring. Or excrement. I don’t plan on doing either of those things, either.

When she?s not busy boning random husbands and fiancs (seriously!), January Jones loves to talk about eating her own placenta. Did I say that incorrectly? She ate the placenta that came with her son Xander. Last year she talked about it with People Magazine, saying: ?I have a great doula who makes sure I?m eating well, with vitamins and teas, and with placenta capsulation. Your placenta gets dehydrated and made into vitamins. It?s something I was very hesitant about, but we?re the only mammals who don?t ingest our own placentas. It?s not witch-crafty or anything! I suggest it to all moms!? Many people slammed her for talking about eating her placenta, but if we?re discussing January Jones? Mistakes In Life, I believe freeze-drying and eating a placenta is far down the list. So, January covers the new issue of Glamour UK (the April issue), and she?s still talking about placentas.
She hit headlines and divided opinion when she admitted she had consumed her own placenta following the birth of her son Xander. But now January Jones has come forward to reveal the reasons behind her somewhat unorthodox decision, saying that dehydrating the organ and eating it in the form of vitamin capsules helped her beat her baby blues.
Speaking to Britain’s Glamour magazine, January, 35, said that while her revelation caused a stir, she would recommend the pills to any expectant mother. She said: ‘I should never have told anyone about that. But it?s not gross or witchcrafty. Nor am I putting it in a shake or eating it raw. It?s a very civilised thing that can help women with depression or fatigue. I was never depressed or sad or down after the baby was born, so I?d highly suggest it to any pregnant woman.’
The placenta, an organ attached to the lining of the womb during pregnancy, is known to contain high levels of vitamins, particularly vitamin B6 – known to help curb postnatal depression.
January raises her son 17-month-old Xander on her own and has never revealed the identity of her the little boy’s father, but says she hates the taboo that often comes with being a single mother.
She said: ‘People keep saying, “Oh poor you, being a single mum”. But I don?t want to be pitied. I can do anything I want to do. I work, I date, I have friends. I have time for everything I had time for before. I just have an added amazing thing in my life. I don?t think being a single mum is something I need to feel sorry about or need to go to group therapy over. It?s really a joy in my life and that?s it. I have a great family and friends, and I know they?d be there if I needed help, but I feel like I?m doing it fine on my own. Being a mum is something I always wanted to do and I love it.’
January, who recently split from film director Noah Miller after a brief relationship, also spoke about her romance history, admitting that while she would love to date someone outside of her industry, it is too hard to meet people away from her work life.
The Mad Men star, who has dated stars including Ashton Kutcher and Jason Sudeikis in the past, said: ‘There was a time in my life when I said I?d never date another actor. But it?s hard to meet people outside of my job. In life, you tend to date the people who are around you, people you see every day. Unfortunately, it?s difficult to date someone who does our job, because it?s so transient. You?re never in the same place for long.’
And asked to describe her ideal man, January replied: ‘I don?t really have a type. But someone who is kind is important to me. Someone who I can have a laugh with, someone to trust.’
[From The Mail]
January continued: ?It also really turns me on when someone is wearing a wedding ring, or when he?s talking about his fiance. I get off on that. Like when Bobby Flay kept ordering drinks for me and then he kept talking about his wife. I try not to date actors, but ?date? doesn?t mean I won?t have a one-night-stand with Miley Cyrus?s fianc. What were we talking about?? Anyway, I agree, there?s no shame in January choosing to be a single mother. She doesn?t need therapy for that or anything. But she might need some therapy for only being sexually attracted to ?taken? men? Is that a ?daddy issues? thing?

Out for a day of pampering, January Jones stopped by the salon for a manicure on Tuesday afternoon (February 12) in Los Angeles.
Clad in jeans and a black sweater, the ?Mad Men? cutie was careful with her freshly painted nails as she headed back to her car after the appointment.
Bouncing back after her split with director Noah Miller, the blonde beauty has been keeping busy with film projects.
Her latest movie, ?Sweetwater,? which also stars Jason Aldean, made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

| January Jones' hair is 'falling out in clumps' from dyeing it too much | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

When I first read the headline about ?January Jones says her hair is falling out in clumps? I thought it was going to be another one of those horrific childbirth and postpartum stories that new mothers tell about what REALLY happens to your body during and after a pregnancy. Selma Blair once discussed how her hair was ?falling out in clumps? after she gave birth, something about vitamins and hormones or whatever. Well, this January story isn?t like that. January?s hair is falling out because it?s overprocessed and she?s used too many chemicals on it, so now she?s going bald. Was her dystopian hairstyle at the SAGs her last hair hurrah?
January Jones’ days as a hair chameleon may be over. Speaking to British magazine Grazia Daily during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, the blonde-again actress talked about the side effects of her multiple hair makeovers while promoting the movie Sweetwater.
“I have been every color and now my hair is falling out in clumps,” Jones said. “I’ve been blonde, red with extensions for this film, then blonde, then black, and now blonde again. I’m going to have to shave it off and wear a wig.”
The 35-year-old actress said that while she likes experimenting with new hues, her 16-month-old son Xander likes her golden locks best. “I like it all colors,” Jones told Grazia. “It makes you feel different according to what color it is, but I prefer to be blonde. My son recognizes me in photos when I am blonde. He says, ‘Mama.’”
Jones — who has never publicly revealed her baby daddy’s identity — is “so brave” when it comes to dyeing her hair new colors, according to her colorist Jennifer J. (of Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills).
“One time, seven or eight years ago, we made her whole head bubblegum pink!” the hair pro told Us Weekly in November. “It’s fun to do color changes, especially with somebody who looks good in everything.”
[From Us Weekly]
I almost always think that women look better with darker hair, but I?m making an exception for January. She only really looks good as a blonde, I think. Not that she looks terrible with red or brown hair, I just think the blonde suits her best of all. But it would be interesting if she had to go ?Full Travolta? from hair loss. Poor January.
In other JJ news, while she was at Sundance, she was asked if she was going to return as Emma Frost in the sequel to the X-Men prequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Director Matthew Vaughn, who helmed First Class, is not returning as the director this time. So? there?s that. Cough. Cough. Hegh-ack! Got it. Genius Bryan Singer will be directing Days of Future Past, and the cast is already getting firmed up ? Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Lawrence will all appear. As for January and Emma Frost? January says no one has spoken to her. Heh.
?I don?t know that I?m in it, I don?t think Emma?s in this one. Well they haven?t told me if I am (laughs). I wouldn?t put it past them though, I got the script for the first one on the airplane on the way there. It?s called Days of Future Past I think, and I think it?s more about James [McAvoy] and Michael [Fassbender] and then Patrick [Stewart] and Ian [McKellan], and I think it?s gonna go back and forth with those so I don?t think Emma?s in those bits. I don?t know, I really don?t know.?
[Via Collider]
I mean? obviously, there was the (cough!) baby-daddy drama, but beyond that, everyone kind of hated January?s Emma Frost. The X-Men fan-girls and fan-boys told me that Emma Frost was one of the most beloved mutants, and that January just didn?t bring anything to the character. So? probably no Emma/January.

Pretty soon, January Jones’ baby, Xavier, won’t be able to recognize her. Because she’ll be bald. And babies don’t have the mental capacity to understand that a bald January Jones is the same person as a non-bald January Jones. Babies are stupid like that. Note that this is just my assumption based on hours of playing peek-a-boo with babies. Those idiots fall for it every time.
“Why is she losing her hair?,” you ask. Not because of the stress of being a single parent raising a baby and dealing with questions from everyone asking who the baby’s daddy is. No, it’s because she’s been dying her hair way too much.
During the Sundance Film Festival, Jones said that going from blonde to red to blonde to black and back to blonde has caused her hair to start falling out in clumps. “I’m going to have to shave it off and wear a wig,” she joked.
Jones’ colorist, Jennifer J, says January is “so brave” when it comes to dyeing her hair new colors. Wait, why does that make her brave? Is it because she’ll turn her hair any color? Like that “One time, seven or eight years ago, we made her whole head bubblegum pink!?”
“No,” I imagine Jennifer explaining, “it’s because her head is now completely f*cked.”

Do you know that it?s taken me THIS LONG to realize that Christina Hendricks was nowhere to be seen at the Golden Globes? She wasn?t nominated for a Golden Globe or a SAG for Best Supporting Actress for Mad Men, which is crime because last season her storyline on Mad Men was amazing and thought-provoking and she killed it. Christina was nominated this year as part of the Mad Men ensemble, but even then she didn?t come out. Now I know what was missing the past few weeks ? Hendricks tatas! I miss them. Where art thou, Titsy McGinge?
Anyway, these photos are of the Mad Men cast members who did make it to the SAGs. Let?s begin with the mess that is January Jones. Her dress is Prabal Gurung, a designer that I don?t have a really strong opinion on either way, but this is maybe the worst, the cheapest-looking Gurung dress I?ve ever seen. It?s just poorly designed in total. And January did the dress NO favors with her dystopian hair and her too-heavy makeup. YIKES.
Elisabeth Moss in a subdued and cute Dolce & Gabbana. I like it because she?s not trying to ?win? the red carpet, and because she kept it simple. She looks adorable.
Jon Hamm and his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt. I hope this doesn?t offend the faithful but JESUS H!!!!! Her face is ten kinds of crazy. She looks like she?s trying to morph into Renee Zellweger, right? I swear, the state of Jennifer Westfeldt makes me like Jon Hamm less.
Vincent Kartheiser and his girlfriend, the Lady Lazarus, Alexis Bleidel. He looks old (right?) and she looks like Emily Deschanel. Still, I love that they’re a couple now.
I?m trying not to be a full-on Jessica Pare-hater. It?s not her fault that Megan Draper sucks so hard. But good God! The closeup of just her face startled me. From a distance, in the full-length photo, she looks okay in the green Jason Wu though. It?s not a great dress, but I do like the color.

Checking some items off her to-do list, January Jones ran errands on Saturday (December 1) in Los Feliz, CA.
The ?Mad Men? star was casually beautiful in jeans, a black-and-white sweater, and brown boots, as she emerged from the local pet store.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old has been filming season six of her hit show, "Mad Men," in which she portrays 1960?s wife Betty Draper.
The award-winning series will be back in 2013 on AMC.

| January Jones goes dark brunette: is it flattering & does it change her whole look? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some new photos of January Jones out and about with her blonde (!) baby Xander yesterday in Pasadena. Did you even recognize her? I didn?t! January is showing off her newly darkened hair? I don?t think I?ve ever seen her as a brunette before. She?s usually a blonde ? early in her career, she was more of a dirty blonde or honey blonde, and then earlier this year January went red for a film role. But I?m looking at her IMDB right now, I don?t see why she would have gone brunette for another role? she doesn?t have any films in preproduction.
There is a minor theory I have? the new season of Mad Men is already filming, and while the Betty character has definitely taken a backseat, it seems like the writers are really mixing it up when we do see Betty. Maybe Betty goes brunette? Last season it was all about ?Fat Betty? so maybe the next season will be all about ?Brunette Betty?. ?Brown Betty?? Who is Betty if she?s not an icy blonde?
January will probably have to go back to blonde soon enough either way? everyone assumes that she will be back as Emma Frost for the next X-Men movie, along with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender (sigh). Guess who is not coming back? The director of X-Men: First Class, Matthew Vaughn. COUGH COUGH COUGH. Deadline reported several weeks ago that Vaughn ?decided not to direct the sequel? after what I can only guess was his wife Claudia Schiffer?s objections. COUGH. But! Vaughn was working on the script, and it?s believed that Bryan Singer will rejoin the X-Men franchise to direct X-Men: Days of Future Past, set for a 2014 release.
PS? I think Xander is an adorable baby. Yes, I think January is probably the queen of ice-cold vanilla bitchery in real life, but I want to believe that she?s a good mom. Xander seems quite taken with her! Also: I kind of think Xander looks like Tom Hardy. RIGHT?
