Ending the weekend with a red carpet appearance, Zoe Saldana turned up at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on Sunday night (November 7).
The "Avatar" actress looked fabulous in a clack frock as she made her press rounds ahead of the AFI FEST 2010 Audi presentation of the movie "Abel".
With stars such as Will Ferrell, Paz Vega and Gael Garcia Bernal also on hand, Miss Saldana proceeded on to check out the Diego Luna directed flick starring Geraldine Alejandra and Karina Gidi.
A synopsis of the film via IMDB tells that the movie is "about a peculiar young boy who, as he blurs reality and fantasy, takes over the responsibilities of a family man in his father's absence."

A few months ago, Zoe Saldana was named the new face/crotch of Calvin Klein panties. There were a couple of teaser images released from the print ad campaign, and now the commercial (directed by Mikael Jansson) has just been released. This thing is apparently going to debut during the Emmy telecast. So? just keep that in mind when you?re leaving the room for a potty break. You?re missing this horribly annoying commercial:
I?m sorry, were we supposed to be paying attention to what she said? If you?re going to have a beautiful woman (and she is pretty, I?m not saying that) twitching and stretching and spreading for your commercial, why make her talk too? And why try to make her sound ?deep? or like she has something powerful to say? It?s a commercial for panties! She?s not trying to sell us a set of Encyclopedia Britannica. She could (and should) have just been muttering ?Biscuit? hammer pants? Godzilla? carnation? bald eagle? Isosceles triangle.? You know what?s worse? This is how Zoe really talks. According to People Magazine, Zoe ?is featured in conversational moments of undress as she reveals little known details about herself. Not only is Saldana the star of the sizzling videos, but she also had a hand in writing each script.? Well, that?s what Calvin Klein gets. You hire someone horribly full of themselves to ?write? her own ?script? for an underwear commercial, and your results will always be predictably annoying.

This is Zoe Saldana on the August issue of GQ UK. It?s an interesting cover shot, and I get the feeling that Zoe has had a lot of dance and modeling experience, and that?s why she?s contorted herself into this position. But you can barely see her beautiful face, the photo is so strange. And I do think she?s beautiful, I really do. I just get tired of her trying to impress me and everyone else with how hardcore and intelligent she is. She reminds me a little of Gwyneth that way. Anyway, here are some excerpts from the GQ profile:
What she loves in a man: ?I love men?s hands not just nice, manicured hands. I feel as though hands say a lot about you and your history. There?s something very abrasively fragile about a man?s hands.?
What she dislikes in people: ?The only thing I can?t tolerate in a human being, especially in a man, is ignorance. Somebody who talks in labels, or talks just to hear themselves speak. To me, judgment day is when you open your mouth and say something that lets me know what kind of personality you have. I mean, I?m not saying I love a man who cries, but I think that can be very sexy.?
On playing Neytiri: ?I didn?t know what the hell I was doing. I just instinctively played her like an animal. I don?t mean like a savage ? I just knew that she operates on natural, organic feelings. She?s not calculated or manipulative. There?s an innocence to her, a purity.”
On Naytiri?s fans: ?It?s because of how tough she was, and how she was willing to stand by her man. In reality, no matter how fragile a woman can be on the exterior, I think it?s good to have some toughness. That way you get to share the load with the man, so they can be a little vulnerable now and then.?

I guess she?s very happy in her relationship, and that?s why she talks like that about men? She?s not on the market for a man, and she hasn?t been for ten years, so of course she?s going to be all ?All of those dudes at the club suck.? And she?s right - they do suck. But if she was single, she might not be saying it in an interview, that?s all I?m saying. But yes, Zoe just got engaged to Keith Britton after dating for 10 years (since she was 23 years old!). Us Weekly?s source claims that they?re ?in no rush to walk down the aisle? and that ?She hasn?t stopped working to plan anything.? Hm.
Zoe is also the new face/crotch of Calvin Klein. I think she?s going to be doing campaigns for the perfume and for underwear. Zoe released a statement when her first ad came out yesterday: “Calvin Klein has always put forth such beautifully executed campaigns. It’s very exciting for me to be associated with such an iconic, globally recognized brand like Calvin Klein Underwear.” It’s a nice image. But they cut off part of her face!

Having quite the spectacular year, Zoe Saldana has been named as the new face for the women's Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Underwear global advertising campaign.
Chief executive Tom Murry made the announcement at a press conference at Mercedes-Benz Berlin Fashion Week on Wednesday (July 7), with the "Avatar" babe grabbing the much sought after gig shortly after announcing her engagement.
According to WWD, the campaign was shot by Mikael Jansson - with plans to launch the Envy range campaign with the October 2010 magazine issues.
Of the offer, Zoe told press, "I just want to say I'm extremely excited to be part of the Calvin Klein family. It feels like Christmas."
As for her hopes when it comes to public reaction to the campaign, Miss Saldana said, "I'm hoping they will embrace the fact that inner beauty and strength is what's sexy about a woman. I didn't want to overdo it, because I'm also representing women of all shapes. I didn't want to sell something unrealistic."

The 32-year-old actress will be tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend Keith Britton and ?is thrilled? that they?ve taken their relationship to the next level.
An insider told press, ?They?ve been together forever. They?re a great couple. She doesn?t even introduce him as her fianc. She will just say, ?This is Keith.? She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress.?
But don?t expect a wedding anytime in the near future. ?She hasn?t stopped working to plan anything.?

Wearing a Herve Leger by Max Azria Fall/Winter 2010 frock, the "Avatar" actress posed for pictures before mingling with fellow guests at Bing's Celebration of Creative Minds After-Party.
As for her career endeavors, Miss Saldana is gearing up to work on the Olivier Megaton directed picture titled "Colombiana".
The action/adventure flick is about "a young woman who, after witnessing her parents' murder as a child in Bogota, grows up to be a stone-cold assassin."

Enjoying a night out on the town, Zoe Saldana let loose over the weekend in West Hollywood, California.
The "Avatar" hottie was clad in an all-black ensemble as she was ecorted to and from the popular Trousdale nightclub on Saturday (May 22).
And while she's still soaking up the glory of her hit movie "Avatar," Miss Saldana is also said to be eyeing a role as an assassin in "Colombiana".
The project is slated for late-summer start, with Olivier Megaton ("Transporter 3") directing from a script by producer Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.
