Zoe Saldana has an interesting way with interviews and often says really unexpected, strange things like how she collapsed under the weight of her own enormous fame and how only racists hate America. Now she’s appearing on the new Demi-Moore produced show on Lifetime, “The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet.” For some strange reason, Zoe has chosen to discuss how she is certainly not opposed to buying a pair of bolt-ons. Okay:
Zoe Saldana isn’t opposed to plastic surgery.
On Lifetime’s “The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet” Thursday, the 33-year-old actress revealed she wouldn’t mind getting a breast augmentation.
“‘Buy yourself a pair of t-tties.’ I heard somebody tell me this once and I I was like, ‘You know what? You’re absolutely right. Thank you for that,’” Saldana said. “And it just hit me, like, ‘Why not? But yourself a pair of t-tties.’”
In Saldana’s eyes, if “an old man was having a midlife crisis and can buy a Porsche and date a 17-year-old, I can buy myself a pair and be the sexiest soccer mom you’ve ever seen.”
The single star — she recently split with beau of three months Bradley Cooper, 37 — added that she doesn’t judge women who decide to go under the knife.
“As long as you’re doing it for reasons that are balanced for you [it's okay]. It’s not even about judging what’s right or wrong. There’s nobody on this earth who can tell you that what you’re feeling is wrong. They can tell you it’s different to what they’re feeling. That said, I’m okay with people trying to do whatever it is they need to do to feel better,” The Words actress explained.
“What doesn’t feel okay to me, what feels a little bit out of balance, is when you want to turn yourself into something else — when you want to be another person.”

Hmm. I generally don’t have a problem with women wanting to improve themselves with a new pair of boobs. However, one should be as tasteful as possible and size accordingly to one’s frame (like Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie have done). Why do I get the feeling that Zoe is envisioning a massively huge rack for herself? I hope she doesn’t do that because very large boobs would look ridiculous on her very thin frame. Of course, maybe some essential sentiment has been lost in this interview because her points about the ubiquitous male mid-life crisis do make sense, and females should be allowed to enjoy the equivalent. Still, if Zoe’s plan is to buy herself a Katy Perry set of girls, she might want to rethink that strategy.
In addition, Zoe also covers the May issue of Cosmo for Latinas. This is the premiere issue, which launches a new offshoot of the magazine that is geared towards English speaking Latinas. Does this new Cosmo incarnation offer different sex tips, perhaps? Who knows, but Zoe has a bit to say about being a proud Latina:
On being a Latina: “People think of Latina women as being fiery and fierce, which is usually true. But I think the quality that so many Latinas possess is strength. I’m very proud to have Latin blood.”
Acting over ballet: “I had to quit ballet because it felt like a part of me was dying inside. It takes a lot of courage to face up to things you can’t do because we feed ourselves so much denial…In dance you use every party of your body except your voice. I wanted to start acting because I wanted to use my voice.”

I appreciate when people are proud of their heritage, but it often seems in Hollywood that actresses (and singers) only pull out the badge of pride when it suits their PR purposes, right? Not that it really matters. It’s interesting that Zoe also says that ballet was slowly killing her. Now I’m receiving Black Swan-like visions of Zoe, which seems pretty crazy.

Looks like Zoe Saldana could be the next big name to join Christian Bale in an upcoming revenge thriller set in the 1970's.
The "Avatar" star is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Relativity Media's "Out of the Furnace" as Bale's ex-wife working as a waitress who is re-married to the town sheriff.
The film follows Christian Bale as he plays an ex-con looking to avenge the death of his brother as soon as he is released from prison.
Saldana is currently working on the yet-untitled Star Trek sequel set to hit theaters May 17.

Taking a breather in between shooting scenes, Zoe Saldana was spotted on the set of the latest "Star Trek" project in Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 29).
The "Avatar" actress - who's playing the role of Nyota Uhura - looked comfy in skinny jeans, Ugg boots and a baggy sweater as she roamed from her trailer to the filming grounds.
The photos of the actress in between takes come just after shots of the actual filming in progress leaked online - despite the fact that director J.J. Abrams has tried to keep everything as secretive as possible.
And it's safe to say that the breach of privacy didn't go over so well, as Zoe told MTV News, "J.J. was very upset, I have to say that."
As for when we can expect to see the finished product, the untitled "Star Trek" movie is currently slated to hit theaters May 17, 2013.

Last night’s Independent Spirit Awards added to the 70 worldwide awards already collected by The Artist, which won Best Feature, Best Director (Michel Hazanavicius), Best Male Lead (Jean Dujardin), and Best Cinematography. Sadly, there was no Jean or Uggie on the red carpet! They were probably en route across the Atlantic Ocean in preparation for tonight’s Oscars, and if you want to read a full list of Independent Spirit winners, you may do so here. Now let’s run down some B-C listers on the red carpet.
Zoe Saldana wore a floral Balmain mini dress that showed off her pin-thin pins. She’s really, really skinny, right? I’d make the clichd statement that the gold, flowery print really reminds me of something that I’ve seen in my grandma’s living room, but my grandma had much better taste than to upholster in such a manner. I feel like Zoe does the structured shoulder look far too often, and the nude-colored pumps look really obtrusive (gold strappy sandals would’ve been better). Zoe is a very beautiful woman, but she didn’t bring it on the red carpet here. The open back on the dress is slightly interesting though.
Elizabeth Olsen donned an Antonio Berardi white sheath dress, and I wanted to say something about Lizzie not being able to dress for her body type, but she’s lovely in this dress nonetheless. I’m not entirely crazy about the sleeves, and it’s a bit too crystal-encrusted for my personal tastes, but she made a strong debut at these awards with her nomination for Best Female Lead.
Anna Kendrick wore an Alexander McQueen dress that I really tried to resist but actually loved. I think the bold shot of reds overrode the paisley combined with black leather waist — a combo that doesn’t theoretically make sense, but Anna pulls it off. Her hair and makeup are quite pretty and set off a youthful glow.
Kate Beckinsale went very casual with a fuschia jumpsuit by Diane von Furstenberg. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels and a Gucci bag. Her glossy lips and loose hair looked particularly unkempt, and this entire ensemble gives me a headache.
Laura Dern, in a move clearly inspired by late 1980s Bop magazine ensembles, wore a floral maxi dress and denim jacket. Holy Debbie Gibson monstrosity! I’m not quite sure what’s going on here, and I don’t know that we should even try to analyze it beyond stating that Laura really looks like crap here.
Lucy Liu provided a much needed kick of playfulness on the red carpet. She wore a Roberto Cavalli dress (which I like even with the leopard print detail) and Giuseppi Zanotti wedge shoes. Her makeup was appropriate, and her pulled-back ponytail was just right. Did you know that she’s 43 years old? Lucy looks spectacular.

Spending the day at the purple carpet celebration, Zoe Saldana looked darling as she arrived at the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 25).
The "Avatar" hottie took to the Santa Monica beachfront venue in preparation of the annual cinema showcase - which pays tribute to the best in Independent filmmaking.
Drawing plenty of star power, the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards will see big names such as Jessica Chastain, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Elizabeth Banks and Ewan Mcgregor take the stage as presenters.
Meanwhile, the show will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Seth Rogen handling the hosting duties.

Last June, the tabloids started buzzing about a potential love connection brewing on set between Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana while the two were filming The Words in Vancouver, and these rumors persisted despite the fact that Zoe was in a 10-year relationship with fianc Keith Britton. Then in early November, Zoe broke up with Keith, and everyone wondered whether Bradley was somehow involved in the split. In late December, reports began to fly that Zoe and Bradley were totally dating, and just a few days ago, nameless witnesses spotted the pair making out “like two seventh graders” at Sundance. Naturally, nobody secured a photo of this phenomenon, and I’m still having trouble believing that they’re an actual couple, mostly because the tabloids have linked Bradley with nearly every up-and-coming starlet:
Bradley Cooper may have bitten off more than he can chew with new gal Zoe Saldana. Bradley, who’s been dating a slew of Hollywood ladies, seems to have settled with Zoe, 33, but a source claims the relationship isn’t the casual good time that it appears.
“Zoe is really intense,” says an insider. “She just came out of a long-term relationship with Keith Britton, and now she really wants to settle down.” The insider says that she has decided Bradley, 37, is “the one” and wants to do what other women have tried — and failed [to do]: get a committment out of him. “Bradley really likes her, but he’s trying to keep things casual.”

The story also says that Zoe is angling to move in with Bradley as soon as he finds a home base in NYC, and he’s totally not feeling it. So is this story true? Who knows, but if it is, Zoe should probably take it down a few notches since she just got out of a serious relationship.
If Zoe and Bradley really are hooking up, this could also be a publicity move to create “intrigue” for their movie. He’s certainly not above such a tactic because, c’mon, the guy dined with JLo to similar effect. Then again, I just might be too skeptical about Bradley’s willingness to enter a relationship for romantic reasons. It might have something to do with the fact that I don’t see the attraction to this year’s Sexiest Man Alive at all.

In June and September of this year, the tabloids began reporting that Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana were hooking up and getting way too friendly on the set of their new film, The Words. Star Magazine even went as far as to claim that Zoe cheated on her boyfriend/fiance of 10 years in September. Zoe?s people denied it, but then something suspicious happened – Zoe and her fiance Keith split up in November, and it seemed like they had been done for a month or so before they announced it. I said at the time that it seemed like Zoe had split up with Keith FOR Bradley. And now E! News is reporting that Bradley and Zoe are totally doing it.
Now here’s someone who does not prefer Ryan Gosling to Bradley Cooper.
The reigning Sexiest Man Alive and Zoe Saldana are dating and they’re extremely happy about it, sources exclusively tell E! News. And we hear that the pair are just now starting to tell family and friends that they’re an item.
What? You didn’t expect either one of them to remain on the market for long, did you?
A rep for Saldana, who recently filmed The Words with?and got to practice kissing?Cooper, denied that the costars were anything more than friends a month ago, after their appearance together at a Manhattan nightclub prompted romantic speculation.
But as recently as last week, a source tells E! News, they were telling friends that they had plans to go skiing in the Rockies together over the holidays.
“They are totally dating,” the source says.
Reps for both stars did not immediately return requests for comment.
Saldana and her boyfriend of nearly 11 years, Keith Britton, called off their engagement and revealed that they had broken up in early November.

Yeah, I think they?re totally doing it, and by “it” I mean “whatever situation Bradley had with Renee Zellweger.” I would guess that they?ve been doing it, off and on, for six months or so. I would guess that Bradley is the reason that Zoe and Keith are no longer together. I would also guess that Bradley isn?t exactly Mr. Faithful – he was recently spotted on what I?m still guessing was a flat-out date with Melanie Laurent, in Paris about a month ago. Bradley might be playing the field still, but? I could definitely see Zoe sticking around.

The ?Avatar? hottie chatted with a gal pal after treating herself to some delicious eats at Good Earth restaurant.
Later on in the evening, Zoe headed over to the ?X Factor? season finale where Melanie Amaro was named the champion.
On the career front, Ms. Saldana is keeping busy with ?The Words,? ?Blood Ties,? and the much-anticipated ?Avatar 2.?

They?re both major Hollywood hotties in their own right, and last night (November 16) Minka Kelly and Zoe Saldana were spotted at the grand opening of the new Michael Kors boutique.
The ?Avatar? actress and the ?Charlie?s Angels? chick posed together at the Robertson Boulevard shindig along with host Petra Flannery.
And it was more than just a swanky fete- the Michael Kors Boutique opening raised money for the St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital.
Other notable names in the house included ?So You Think You Can Dance? host Cat Deeley, Kate Mara, and Lydia Hearst.

Oooooh, I was right. I love it when that happens. Back in September, there were multiple reports that Zoe Saldana was maybe/probably getting it on with her costar at the time, Bradley Cooper. While I doubted the stories as they focused on Bradley, I did point out that it certainly appeared that Zoe was acting like a single girl, and that was probably bad news for her boyfriend/fianc of 10 to 11 years, Keith Britton. Everyone was all, ?You don?t know! She?s not a famewhore! She keeps her junk private!? But now Zoe and Keith have announced their split (to both People Mag and Us Weekly, whazzup privacy?), and I?m left wondering when they exactly called it quits. I bet it was two months ago, don?t you? They haven?t been photographed together since July, at least that was all I found.
For the first time in over a decade, Zoe Saldana is single. The Avatar star, 33, and fiance Keith Britton, 35, “have amicably separated after 11 years,” the actress’ rep tells Us Weekly.
“[They] remain committed business partners as co-founders of fashion resource MyFDB.com,” Saldana’s rep added. “Respect of their privacy is appreciated during this time.”
Saldana and her entrepreneur ex confirmed their engagement in June 2010. A source told Us at the time the actress was “thrilled,” adding, “They’ve been together forever. They’re a great couple.”
Another insider at the time told Us: “[Zoe] doesn’t even introduce him as her fiance. She will just say, ‘This is Keith.’ She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress.”

So, did Zoe bone Bradly Cooper? They played love interests in the film they were doing a few months ago, and I personally believe the stories of their hookups were just based on the photos from the set, of the two actors acting lovey in character. But God knows. Everyone claims Bradley is straight, and we know he likes super-skinny girls, so maybe he and Zoe had a thing. That would certainly be interesting.
