Taking care of an injury, Zoe Saldana emerged from a medical building with a colorful brace on her arm in Los Angeles, California on Friday (August 24).
Carrying a brown paper bag and a bottle of juice, the "Avatar" actress put her healthy hand over her face as she made her way across the street wearing high rise skinny jeans and a polka-dot top.
On the business front, Zoe has been rumored to have landed the lead role in the upcoming Cynthia Mort film "Nina", playing the late jazz musician and classical pianist Nina Simone.
The movie is said to document Simone's rise to fame as well as her relationship with her manager Clifton Henderson (played by David Oyelowo).

Making a gorgeous outing to meet up with friends, Zoe Saldana was spotted on her way to a sushi restaurant in Studio City, CA this afternoon (July 24).
The 34-year-old starlet donned a preppy ensemble made up with a blue button-up and a black pencil skirt while she pulled her hair back into a tight bun.
In recent news, the ?Avatar? stunner may have a new role playing Victor Cruz?s girlfriend in the film ?Out of the Blue.?
When asked who would ideally play his beautiful gal Elaina Watley in the flick, the NFL star responded, ?I would say Zoe Saldana.?

More photos from last night?s Teen Choice Awards! Here?s Zoe Saldana in a two-piece ensemble by Jonathan Saunders, a designer I am not familiar with. At first glance, I actually liked this on Zoe, although on second and third glances, I?m not wild about it. The design is? okay. It?s the kind of thing that only a girl with Zoe?s build can really pull off. Put this skirt and a cropped shell on a girl with short legs or any kind of curves, and it would look completely awful. So? kudos to Zoe for choosing something that is appropriate (and unique) for her figure. That being said, I guess my problem might be with the fabric. Notably, the print. The print isn?t all that great. It looks like a 1970s print? for pillows.
Next up: Gwen Stefani, who walked the red carpet with No Doubt, and No Doubt performed at the awards show too. For the carpet, Gwen also wore a two-piece ensemble, and I ended up liking hers a lot more than Zoe?s. Gwen went with Yves Saint Laurent ? look at that vest! That?s really awesome. And I like her general styling here too ? usually I want to wipe off some of her makeup and edit her outfit, but this version of Gwen is pretty great. Gwen?s shoes are Louboutin, by the way. Is Tony wearing Doc Martens?

Getting ready for a fashion-filled afternoon, Zoe Saldana and Shailene Woodley were spotted at the Giorgio Armani Prive Haute-Couture show at Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France on Tuesday (July 3).
Both starlets looked gorgeous during Paris Fashion Week's exclusive event as the "Avatar" actress donned a simple orange patterned dress, while the 20-year-old star looked mature in a while top and black trouser pants.
In other news, "The Descendants" actress has landed her newest role in Gregg Araki's newest film "White Bird."
The drama centers on a young woman whose mother disappears, turning her life upside down. According to Variety now that Arkai has his lead locked in, he will begin casting the other parts, which include that disappearing mother, the girl?s father and the police detective working the case.

Zoe Saldana showed up to the CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall in New York City and, my god, someone give this girl a hamburger. At the very least, direct her to the nearest halal cart. She’s so gaunt that people in concentration camps feel bad for her.

I completely forgot about the CFDAs (Council of Fashion Designers of America). It?s sort of like the Met Gala, only not as glamorous and much more about the actual designers rather than the Fashion Girls. Thus, the photos and fashion moments aren?t quite as good. Like, the most ?important? people at the Met Gala were (arguably) Beyonce and Gisele Bundchen. The most important people at the CFDAs were designers/celebrities Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Anyway, Zoe Saldana was one of the most photographed women at the event (which should tell you something), so here you go. Zoe wore Prabal Gurung, and she was Gurung?s ?date? too – that?s Gurung in the tux. I?m not crazy about the gown – it?s too busy. I know that a strange thing to say about a black gown, but the sheer panels and insets seem schizophrenic.
And here?s my girl Doutzen Kroes, in yet another black gown, this one by Sophie Theallet. It reminds me of the Dior gown Charlize wore to the UK SWATH premiere a few weeks ago – and I didn?t care for that Dior for the same reason I don?t care for this Theallet. It?s too sheer, too exposed. We?re looking at Doutzen?s chicken cutlet falsies, right?
Seth Meyers and his girlfriend, Alexi Ashe. This is just a reminder: Seth Meyers is not your boyfriend. He is Alexi Ashe?s boyfriend. Stop calling him and stop daydreaming about going on upstate New York minibreaks with him. It?s not happening. Sidenote: I hate Alexi?s dress.

The ?Avatar? star headed to Jersey City, NJ for the polo match dressed in tiny leather shots matched with a cropped tee and tan wedges.
In other news, rumors sparked that the 33-year-old star is rekindling her romance with the hunky Bradley Cooper after the two teamed up for their latest project ?The Words.?
The two were recently spotted enjoying a romantic dinner in New York and an eyewitness said they looked ?pretty engaged? adding, ?It looked a little more friendly than a business meeting.?
Neither of the stars have commented on the topic.

Trying to navigate her way through the Big Apple, Zoe Saldana looked like she got a little lost in the fashion district of New York City on Tuesday (May 29).
The "Avatar" stunner looked effortlessly chic in a black belted dress and strappy sandals while stopping to ask for directions in the chaotic and always busy city.
In career news, the gorgeous 33-year-old seems to have landed herself a spot in Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" sequel "Machete Kills." In a recent interview with Moviehole, actor Danny Trejo was the one to slip the exciting news.
While expressing his excitement about the beautiful A-List women who are joining him in the film, Trejo dished more about possible co-stars saying, "The sequel to Machete, Machete Kills is going to be a lot more over-the-top than Machete. We?ve got Sofia Vergara, who is a star in her own right, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, and Zoe Saldana ? and guess what? I get to kiss all of ?em.?
The new action flick tells the story of the U.S. government official who recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.
No exact release date is known at this time, but you can expect to see it hit theaters in 2013.

Jamming out to some music on the go, Zoe Saldana was spotted sharing an her ipod with a friend as they made their way through New York City this afternoon (May 11).
With a bright Pink purse slung over her shoulder, the "Avatar" star looked super chic in a blue and red stripped dress that she paired with gladiator sandals and a grey cardigan.
Earlier this week Zoe celebrated the launch of the very first Cosmopolitan magazine for Latinas, which she just graced the cover for and a bunch of loved ones were there to show their support "Had such an amazing time last night...... Here w Mom, @Teamvic & @DagobertoGalan. Thank you @CosmoForLatinas!" Zoe tweeted following the event.
As a first-generation Latino-American, Saldana admitted she's not trying to represent any particular demographic by supporting the magazine but she would love to see the mag touch "the first generations of me."
The 33-year-old actress wore a beautiful lacy dress to the event which she hopes will help inspire more diversity on glossy covers saying, "There are certain magazines -- there's just not enough diversity on their covers".

In career news, Zoe has been nominated for the Best Latino Actor trophy at the upcoming 2012 MTV Movie Awards, set to take place on June 3rd, 2012.
She?ll compete against Diego Luna, Demian Bichir, Penelope Cruz, and Harmony Santana in what has turned out to be a hotly contested category.
