Making the most of her time in the Middle East, Madonna was spotted touring the ancient “Rose” city of Petra in Jordan yesterday (September 3).
The “Like a Virgin” songstress was accompanied by Jordanian security and an armed bodyguard as she perused the ancient town during some time off of her Sticky and Sweet tour.
Speaking of her tour, it seems Madge has broken so many records on this outing that she has garnered the title of most successful tour ever by a solo artist.
The year-long tour raked in more than $408 million, setting attendance records in Zurich, Switzerland, Gothenburg, Sweden, and Helsinki, Finland.

Madonna fainted twice while performing in Bulgaria on Saturday. It seems kind of inevitable given her grueling tour schedule and, ahem - age. She’s massively fit, but she also reportedly adheres to a strict diet, one that sometimes hovers around a starvation-level 800 calories a day if her scheming personal trainer is to be believed. There have also been stories that she doesn’t eat meat or dairy products. That level of exercise coupled with not eating has got to take a toll. The Sun has a video of one of the incidents, and Madonna clearly faints for a moment while dancing to Holiday, and one of her backup dancers holds her up and revives her. She then goes right on with the show:
IT’S no secret Madonna has a fitness regime that would make a Royal Marine weep.
But after collapsing on stage TWICE during Saturday’s Sticky & Sweet show in Sofia, Bulgaria, it might be time to take her foot off the gas.
Madge lost consciousness singing Holiday and had to be held up by a dancer.
Then, as she left the stage during Spanish Lesson, she passed out and fell over.
A source said: “Madge was really worried backstage. She had to sit down for a longer break than usual between songs.
“She refused to end the show or take a break after the Holiday dizzy spell. It turns out she’s suffering from exhaustion. She is anaemic.
“She was advised to postpone the last two shows in Israel for a few days, but logistics and stubborness stopped her. She’ll do them then take some rest.”
While in Bulgaria she took a dip with her tour dancers.
She is also pictured in the video for her new single Celebration, with daughter LOURDES.
No prizes for spotting the huge dig at her ex GUY RITCHIE - as she cops off with her new fella JESUS LUZ.

Maybe a big steak or some liver and onions would help Madonna keep her strength up, but I doubt she’ll ever injest something of such calorific proportions. This is a woman who once said “I would never get fat” as if gaining some weight would be the worst scenario she could ever imagine. There are much worse things than a little flab, and I would count health that’s so poor that you can’t get out of bed among them. Madonna is not my favorite person, but I wish her well and hope she recovers. She needs some rest and maybe this will be a wake up call for her to slow down the tour schedule and take some time off. It’s not like she needs the money from touring, but I get the impression that she has trouble coping without something intense and demanding to drive her. Take care of yourself Madonna, you don’t need to keep pushing it to the limit.

When I first saw the 15 second clip of Madonna?s upcoming single ?Celebration? I was sort of impressed. Jesus Luz. Without a shirt. Not bad. Naturally I assumed her record label leaked the clip because they?d get a lot of free Jesus hype. Now I?m thinking they did it because that?s just the only semi-interesting part of the video. I mean it?s all fine. Certainly Madonna doesn?t release sub-par stuff ? at least not without someone losing their testicles for it. But it?s just? there. It won?t go down in the books. There are people dancing. Oooh, they?re sped up! Ohhhh, now they?re slowed down. How novel. We?ve already covered Jesus with his shirt off. Lots of jerky dance movements. Little hint of Lourdes near the end. And I think that just about covers it.
Here’s the video of Madonna’s new single ‘Celebration,’ the title track of her upcoming greatest hits album. The material girl shows off her dance moves in thigh-high Louboutin boots and a dress short enough to allow for plenty of gyration and crotch-touching shots.
Around 2:20, Madonna’s boy toy Jesus Luz enters. He is playing a DJ, which is his real-life dream. Madge touches herself some more, realizes she must remove Jesus’ clothes to recognize him, then makes out with him.
Lourdes, Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter, also makes a cameo as a dancer towards the end of the video.
Madonna is currently on her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour in Europe, and has made time for visiting Jewish Holy sites with Jesus and speaking out on behalf of the Gypsies.

So? yeah, I?m not sure what to say. The video is just so-so to me. There?s no Madonna-esq controversy. There?s nothing fabulous about it. It?s fine. My great grandma has it on her iPod. She?s cool with it. As am I. Couldn?t really offend or interest anyone. I?m sure it?ll occasionally get played in clubs because it has that beat that just screams ?I blend well into other songs for 15 second mashups!? And that?s about it.

Making the most of her time in the Middle East, Madonna was spotted having dinner with Israeli politician Tzipi Livin in Tel Aviv last night (August 31).
The “Like a Virgin” songstress was surrounded by fans and paparazzi as she made her exit with boy toy Jesus Luz following close behind.
Madge has been enjoying her time in Israel ahead of her concert dates in the Holy Land later this week which will conclude her Sticky and Sweet world tour.
Madonna was escorted by police on a sightseeing tour of Jerusalem’s Old City yesterday where she saw many significant Jewish sites that are relevant to her Kabbalah faith.

Getting a dose of negative feedback, Madonna endured a solid booing while performing in Bucharest , Romania last night.
While onstage, the Material Girl told her views on discrimination in Eastern Europe, where anti-Gypsy (or Roma as they’re known there) behavior is common.
During the concert, Madge told 60,000 concertgoers her thoughts about how discrimination made her “very sad, especially because we don’t believe in discrimination against anyone.”
Despite the poor reaction, Madonna continued on - hoping to try and get through to the crowd, saying,”We believe in equal rights for everyone, right? Gypsies, homosexuals, people who are different; everyone is equal and should be treated with respect, OK? Let’s not forget that.”

Spotted out in London earlier today (August 21), Madonna headed to the Kabbalah Center along with her children, Lourdes and Mercy.
The 51-year-old singer was carrying a soccer ball and looked comfortable in black pants, a zip-up sweatshirt and a ball cap while heading to the chauffeured car.
After paying a visit to the center, Madonna headed to the airport to catch a flight back to the United States.
In other news, the “Like a Prayer” songstress recently recorded two new songs for her “Greatest Hits Volume 3,” due out on September 29th.

Continuing her holiday in Portofino, Italy, Madonna was spotted having an afternoon of fun in the sun today (August 17).
Joined by her kids Rocco, Lourdes, David Banda, and Mercy James as well as boyfriend Jesus Luz, Madge made the most of her family day with a ride on a yacht.
At one point, Madonna got brave and hopped into the crystal waters to swim around with her kids, laughing and splashing around.
It has been a relaxing couple of days for the Material Girl and her crew as they’ve been enjoying shacking up at Dolce & Gabbana’s villa since the weekend when they celebrated her 51st birthday.

We’ve seen plenty of photos of Madonna and Jesus out together, but usually it looks like Jesus is there in some sort of official capacity - like to make Madonna seem much younger and more relevant. He could also be hanging around as some kind of glorified assistant - he’s been seen carrying Madonna’s bags and it’s rumored that he often babysits her kids. Maybe I’m in denial because the thought of 22 year-old Jesus having athletic sex with 51 year-old Madge just skeeves me out and I was hoping it wasn’t true.
It could be, though, as Jesus and Madonna were finally photographed looking intimate. Jesus was seen kissing Madonna’s well-preserved neck at dinner for her 51st birthday. If the situation was reversed I would speculate that Madonna was getting some life essence like the succubus she is. Instead, it looks like true love or at least like they’re legitimately having sex. *shiver* There’s also another picture of the two kissing over breakfast on their hotel patio in Italy. Madonna — along with her gorgeous boy toy/model Jesus Luz — is in the Italian Riviera resort of Portofino Monday to celebrate her birthday in true star style.
The superstar singer — who turned 51 Sunday — booked an entire floor of the town’s Splendido Hotel for her stay. The Material Mom (sans kids) was snapped Sunday sharing breakfast (and a kiss!) with Jesus before joining the rest of her entourage later for dinner and cake.
Famed Italian fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are expected to host a star studded birthday party for the Material Mom during her trip.
But where there’s Madonna, there’s always controversy. The ‘Like A Virgin’ Singer caused a flap on Saturday when her Sticky and Sweet tour concert in Poland happened on the same day as the Feast of the Assumption, a high point of the Catholic calendar marking the traditional belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus also known as the Madonna, was taken up into heaven.
She may have been branded a “Satanist” by the religious leaders of Poland, but Madonna seemed genuinely touched when the 80,000 strong crowd at her concert in Warsaw surprised her by singing a traditional Polish birthday song, ‘May You Live A Hundred Years’.
“I feel your love. I love what I do, but you regenerate me,” said a beaming Madonna.
Many of the fans near the stage also held up paper hearts. One said: “Adopt Me.”
During the concert, Madonna paid tribute to fellow pop icon Michael Jackson, who died June 25 in Los Angeles, CA.
A Jackson impersonator did the King of Pop’s signature moonwalk dance move on stage while wearing a sequined jacket, white T-shirt, white glove and white socks, while a large photograph of him as a boy appeared on stage.

I’m sure it’s no coincidence that Madonna timed her tour so that she was performing in a predominantly Catholic country on one of most holy days of the year. It’s a little more subtle than hanging herself on a cross with a crown of thorns on her head, but just as purposeful. That was Madonna’s little pre-birthday present to herself. There’s nothing she likes more than a good old fashioned feud with the Catholics. She also apparently still has that doe-eyed young model on the hook. Damn her.

The “Like a Virgin” songstress looked to be enjoying herself as she spent some quality time with her kids Lourdes, Rocco, David Banda, and Mercy James as well as her boyfriend Jesus Luz.
Yesterday the Material Girl celebrated her 51st birthday in the picturesque Italian town with breakfast on her hotel room balcony and dinner out with her entourage.
Prior to that, Madge stirred up some controversy in Warsaw, Poland where she drew criticism from a local Catholic organization for performing on the same day as their Virgin Mary holiday.

She turned 51 over the weekend, and Madonna enjoyed a romantic birthday in Portofino, Italy with her boytoy Jesus Luz.
The Material Girl was spotted with her Brazilian beau at the Splendido Hotel yesterday (August 16), chatting on the balcony and having a special birthday breakfast while a bouquet of flowers was delivered.
Later on Madge and Jesus joined up with the rest of the entourage to grab some dinner and celebrate some more with birthday cake.
The night before, Madonna played a concert in Warsaw, Poland where she was protested by a Catholic organization for her religious views, as it was also a church holiday celebrating the heavenly assumption of the Virgin Mary.
