While she's currently getting "Breaking Dawn" filming underway, Kristen Stewart is also looking forward to the release of her movie "Welcome to the Rileys" - which hits theaters on October 29th.
Having premiered the film first at Sundance in January before taking it to New York City this past Monday (October 18), the Bella Swan babe has said that the role of a runaway-turned-stripper named Mallory is the most personal of her career.
As for the movie's plot, "Welcome to the Rileys" finds a damaged man on a business trip to New Orleans, where he seeks salvation by caring for a wayward young woman.
And while the movie is just being released, it was actually shot prior to Kristen's "Twilight" stardom back in 2008.
Talking with MTV News about the growth which he's seen in Miss Stewart since shooting "Welcome to the Rileys," director Jake Scott said, "She's grown up. She's a woman now."
Adding that he saw the "seedlings" of a mature woman in her from their first meetup, Scott added, "It was an act of courage on her part, especially when you consider she was just 18."

Being an actor isn?t always a walk-in-the-park, and Kristen Stewart can attest to that.
For the Bella Swan babe?s latest flick ?Welcome to the Rileys? - where she plays a young stripper - learning to pole dance was a requirement.
At Monday night?s premiere in New York City, Stewart told press of her new experience, ?I did two weeks of it?.I did learn how to do it and I got bruises all over my legs. It?s hard, but it actually doesn?t look painful, but it is. It kinda beats you up.?
Of playing a troubled 17-year-old in the film out October 29, Kristen says, "This is something that any girl can relate to: if you love yourself and you respect yourself, that's the only way anybody else is going to.?

I keep forgetting that Kristen Stewart has a new, non-Sparkly film coming out. It?s called Welcome to the Rileys, and Kristen plays a stripper who befriends James Gandolfini?s character, and in essence becomes his surrogate daughter (because his real daughter died). I think Kristen did this film a while back, and even now they?re still having problems getting it a wide release, I guess because no one wants to see Bella as a trashy New Orleans stripper. This film hasn?t even had a real premiere yet! Anyhoodle, there are some assorted K-Stew interviews out there, so I?m just doing some highlights:
Kristen on dyeing her hair from blonde (for On the Road) back to dark brown (for Breaking Dawn): ?I was blonde a little while ago. So now I?m dark again for Twilight? I feel much more myself with darker hair.?
Kristen?s Riley?s director on what Kristen is like: ?She ate badly, smoked tons of cigarettes, stayed up late,? Scott said. ?She embraced the habitual nature of the character.?
Kristen is on a diet: ?Well, it?s kind of embarrassing,? she told PEOPLE. ?But I?m playing a vampire soon. I eat disgustingly normally. And so, right now, I?m trying to not put so much butter in my food and stuff like that.? And is the diet working? ?Yeah, yeah,? she answered ?I feel better . . . I guess so.?
On learning how to flaunt her sexuality as a stripper: “Well, I mean, like, doing this movie … one shocking thing was to find how easy it is [to flaunt your sexuality]? Like, I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job. And then walking around New Orleans wearing the kind of stuff I was wearing literally could be like boom, boom, boom, done. But I would never do that.”
On Breaking Dawn: ?I?m so happy that we?re doing two movies, because we would have had to cut out so much - it would have been almost near impossible! I?m excited about a lot of little bits, but mostly excited about Bella?s [dramatic change]. It all comes to fruition. You finally get what you?ve been begging for. It feels good!?

She sounds less angst, although the one line that stood out to me was ?And then walking around New Orleans wearing the kind of stuff I was wearing literally could be like boom, boom, boom, done. But I would never do that.” Our little Kristen would never dress like a stripper in real life. She will only dress like a truck driver, I suppose. NO, that?s unfair. Her fashion is getting loads better through the years. By the time Breaking Dawn?s promotion is upon us, Kristen?s wardrobe should be killer.

Continuing along with her promotional duties, Kristen Stewart was spotted heading in for an appearance on ?Live! With Regis and Kelly? in New York City on Tuesday morning (October 19).
The ?New Moon? gal looked cute and casual with a green knit hat and shades as she posed for a few quick pics and signed autographs for some very lucky fans.
Ms Stewart is has been in the midst of promo duties for the upcoming film ?Welcome to the Rileys,? in which she stars alongside James Gandolfini.
The flick - which sees limited release on October 29th - is about a damaged man who seeks salvation by caring for a wayward young woman during a business trip to New Orleans.

Kicking off her week with a delicious dinner out, Kristen Stewart was spotted hitting up Nobu restaurant in New York City last night (October 18).
The ?New Moon? actress tried to avoid the paparazzi by running around the entire city block after dinner, but ended up needing the help of her bodyguard to get back to her car.
In a recent interview with MTV News, Kristen revealed that while filming ?Welcome to the Rileys? she was offered a job in a strip club.
She tells, "Well, I mean, like, doing this movie ... one shocking thing was to find how easy it is [to flaunt your sexuality]. Like, I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job."

Stepping out for an evening on the red carpet, Kristen Stewart looked simply stunning as she attended The Cinema Society and Everlon Diamond Knot Collection?s screening of "Welcome To The Rileys" in New York City on Monday night (October 18).
Taking place at the posh Tribeca Grand Hotel, the lovely actress was joined by co-star James Gandolfini as they boost interest in their new movie - due out in theaters on October 29th.
Meanwhile, Kristen will soon be flying out to Louisiana to join up with her "Twilight" co-stars to begin shooting "Breaking Dawn".
Telling Access Hollywood how excited she is to start up work on the much-0anticipated vampire flick, K-Stew said, ?I?m so happy that we?re doing two movies, because we would have had to cut out so much - it would have been almost near impossible. While she opted to pass up on the red carpet walk, At the Spike TV Scream Awards - October 16, 2010 showed up as expected for Spike TV's Scream 2010 Awards in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night (October 16).
Looking darling in a white and black dress, the Bella Swan babe proudly took the stage at the Greek Theatre venue to accept the Best Fantasy Actress trophy.
Giving fans plenty of action, the 2010 Scream Awards feature a tribute to the end of ?Lost,? the premiere of footage from Scream 4, a 25th-anniversary celebration of Back to the Future and a musical performance by M.I.A.
The not-to-be-missed event airs on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 19 at 9PM ET/PT.

Kicking off the weekend with a press appearance, Kristen Stewart dropped by the "Tonight Show" in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (October 8).
The "Twilight" actress was in quite the cheerful mood as she took a seat alongside Jay Leno to promote her new movie "Welcome to the Rileys.?
During the visit, Miss Stewart revealed that vampires have always been a theme in her life while also touching on her obsession with Dracula.
Aside from her promotional efforts and upcoming "Twilight" filming duties, Kristen is also reportedly cast as Talia in a movie called, ?Someone in the Dark.?
The film is said to be a thriller by DreamWorks Pictures, with production to kick off once "Breaking Dawn" finishes up in March 2011.

He indirectly told Kristen Stewart to give up her acting career if she hates fame so much, but Adam Brody says he didn?t mean to come off the way he did.
The ?Romantics? actor gave an interview on Diablo Cody?s online talk show recently where he was asked if he liked being a celebrity or would rather be ?just an actor,? an obvious reverence to the ?Twilight? actress? sentiments.
And in response, Brody explained, "It's only gotten worse, I'm sure, being a celebrity. At the same time, I don't have a lot of patience for people who moan about it too much. Because there are many things you could do. ... It's like, quit ... you don't need to be an actor, so it's like, if it's that much of a problem ... there's the door."
After receiving a ton of negative responses to his remarks, Adam told press, "I, no, I just, I, this is horrible. It wasn't taken out of context. I saw [the episode] and thought I sounded like an idiot. I did. Regardless of how anyone else took anything, I would think that sounds very ungentlemanly and I sounded like a jackass."

Getting back to work on her latest project, Kristen Stewart did her best to keep cool in the New Orleans heat as she prepares for scenes for her new film, "On the Road'" on Thursday afternoon (September 2).
According to a GossipCenter source on the scene, the Bella Swan babe left her Big Easy hotel with hunky co-star, Garrett Hedlund, as the pair headed off to rehearsals.
Once arrived on-set, Miss Stewart proceeded to puff on a cigarette and chomp down a banana before sitting down with the crew to go over her lines.
The sighting comes just after Kristen moved out of her shared Bel-Air abode with Robert Pattinson, as a real estate agent told E! Online: ?They are no longer renting the home.?
Back to "On the Road", the Walter Salles directed film is due out in 2011 and is about "a young man sets out to travel the roads and railways of America."
