| Kristen Stewart. 22, named 'the highest paid actress in Hollywood' by Forbes | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I keep telling you, Hollywood is going to make Kristen Stewart out to be the next Angelina Jolie. Megan Fox?s attempts were a bust. Zoe Saldana was a non-starter. But Kristen has the staying power, and she incites controversy and fan flame-wars like no one else save Angelina. And now Kristen is even taking over one of Angelina?s old positions: that of ?the highest-paid actress in Hollywood.? Forbes released their list of ?Highest Paid Actresses? yesterday, and Kristen is positioned at the top – above such actresses as (in descending order): Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, Angelina, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts, Sarah Jessica Parker, Meryl Streep, Kristen Wiig, and Jennifer Aniston. Incidentally, Kristen is the only actress on the Top Ten who is under the age of 30. It?s a brand new Hollywood (except not really)!
Studios are notoriously stingy when it comes to paying young actors for the first film in a planned franchise. Forget about the $10 million they would have had to shell out to get a big name ? an up-and-comer is lucky to get $800,000. That changes dramatically when it comes to the third and fourth films in a series. Suddenly, the star becomes indispensable and the studio has to pay up. That?s why Kristen Stewart has vaulted to the top of our annual list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.
At this point, could anyone else play Bella Swan in Twilight? Probably not; if the studio tried to switch in another actress, fans would revolt. So for the last two Twilight films, Stewart has been able to demand an estimated $12.5 million per film, plus a share of the profits.
Her two co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, get paid the same, but Stewart earned more than them this year because of Snow White and the Huntsman. Stewart?s earnings between May 2011 and May 2012 totaled $34.5 million, helping her rank 43rd on our Celebrity 100 list. (The list measures a combination of money and fame.)
At 22, Stewart is the youngest woman on our list by 16 years. The next youngest is Kristen Wiig who is 38. Last year Stewart ranked 5th on our list of the Highest-Paid Actresses tied with Julia Roberts. This year Roberts ranked 6th.
Women are still paid less than men in the movie business. The 10 actresses who make up our list earned a total $200 million compared to the $361 million brought in by our top 10 men. To determine who the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood are, we considered upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising work. We talked to manager, agents, lawyers and other in-the-know folks to come up with our estimates. We did not deduct for things like agent fees or the expenses

| Kristen Stewart in beaded Balmain for 'sWATH' Sydney premiere: pretty' | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth were in Sydney, Australia yesterday (today?!?) for the Australian premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman. I don?t know where Charlize Theron was – I saw photos of Charlize getting on a plane, and I thought she would be at this premiere too. But Kristen is enough. Kristen is who we want to see. Sort of.
For the premiere, Kristen wore this Balmain ?gown?. That?s how it?s being described – a ?gown?. Look at the details though – this is a (fancy) tube top/bustier and an awkward skirt. If it was actually a gown, I might like it. If the House of Balmain had actually made an executive decision on the best length for the gown, I would have liked it even more. This is neither a full-length gown, nor tea-length. It falls somewhere in between, and that?s awful. The effect it gives Kristen is that she?s short, stubby and in need of a tailor. Now, all that being said, I do like the idea of the dress – dark green with lots of silver beading, strapless and showing off her figure. All of that is a good idea, it?s just the execution that leaves something to be desired.
I do love her hair like this, though. Some will say it?s not fancy enough for a red carpet, but I really like that she tried a big, high, messy bun. From the neck up, I have no complaints. Her skin looks gorgeous too. And I?m throwing in a little Chris Hemsworth, because I know how to keep my bitches happy.

Bringing their action-flick down under, the stars of ?Snow White and the Huntsman? hit the red carpet for a Sydney premiere screening on Tuesday evening (June 19).
Held at Event Cinemas in Westfield Bondi Junction, leading lady Kristen Stewart looked elegant in a Balmain Fall 2012 frock as she joined alongside her handsome castmate Chris Hemsworth and director Rupert Sanders for the big Aussie cinema debut.
With the press tour headed to Melbourne next, the Oceanic efforts come as K-Stew and co. have enjoyed a good deal of praise for their new take on the classic story.
Among those doting kind words is actress Ginnifer Goodwin - who plays the fairytale character of Snow White on her television show ?Once Upon a Time? - as the 34-year-old said, "I went to see Snow White and the Huntsman recently and I think it's phenomenal. I was so impressed with everyone's work."
Having already raked in more than $247.2 million worldwide, ?Snow White and the Huntsman? also stars Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin while set to open in Australian theaters on June 21.

| Entertainment Weekly's 1st look at Renesmee of 'Breaking Dawn?: perfect' | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Entertainment Weekly has been graced with the very first look at the long-awaited Renesmee of Breaking Dawn – Part II fame. Of course, this highly anticipated character is the child of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen and is played by a young actress named Mackenzie Foy. Now EW has the big reveal of photos of the fledgling family and extension of the Cullen clan. Having read (and begrudgingly enjoyed) the books and watched (and moderately hated) the movies, I can safely say that — as far as physicality is concerned — the casting directors nailed this one. Here are some details from EW.com:
The Cullens are a family unlike any other.
At the end of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, Kristen Stewart’s Bella gave birth to a half-vampire, half-mortal child named Renesmee. In Breaking Dawn – Part 2, the fifth and final installment of the mega-successful movie franchise, Bella and husband, Edward (Robert Pattinson), will fight to protect their little girl from the Volturi clan.
Up until now, the trio have not been seen together in the same photograph. Real-life loves Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, “were amazing” with Foy, 11, director Bill Condon, 56, says in the June 22 issue of Entertainment Weekly. “It really brought something paternal out in Rob, and Kristen was especially protective. I’d have to interrupt them when they were in deep conversation to get going with a scene.”
According to Foy, her onscreen parents “are super-nice.”
Finding the right actress to portray Renesmee was no easy task. “It’s a hugely important part,” Condon explains. “There were a lot of kids. But this was kind of obvious. It was one of those rare times when you see something — like with an apartment or house — and it feels good and you just need to take it. I felt that way, like, ‘Oh, this is good.’”
Stewart was amazed by the similarities she shares with Foy. “Even our hands look similar,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. “It was kind of strange, but it’s funny how it actually helps. It’s like, ‘Oh hey, you look like me, kid! Come on!!’”
[From Us Weekly]
Certainly, Mackenzie does resemble both of her onscreen parents … not that it matters, really. The Twilight movies are not exactly known for continuity as far as its actors’ physical appearances go (seriously, what is up with Esme’s morphing hair?), but it’s a nice little detail that Mackenzie looks like the perfect hybrid of Bella and Edward. Of course, there’s also the icky bit about Jacob falling in love with her as a baby. Er, imprinting. Whatever.
Here are some of the posters that have already been released for Breaking Dawn 2. I have to admit to laughing when I spotted the first two in the theater last weekend.

| Kristen Stewart Embraces Her Ugly in Vanity Fair | Added 12 years ago | Source: Yeeeah |

Kristen Stewart sucks with the power of a thousand Flowbees, and yet Vanity Fair still felt compelled to put her on the cover of their July issue and ruin it with an interview inside. She told the magazine (via the NY Post):
“I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph. I get some serious [shit] about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet would think, ‘What an actress! What a faker!’
Bitch, please. If there’s one thing no one would ever accuse Kristen Stewart of, it’s being an actress.
Two more pics from the issue (video from the shoot after the jump), plus a couple of her pawing at her scalp like she’s got ringworm at the MTV Movie Awards:

| Kristen Stewart on Vanity Fair: 'I?m a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot' | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kristen Stewart covers the July issue of Vanity Fair magazine. These are some selected photos from the Mario Testino shoot – thoughts? I?ve praised Kristen?s makeup artist before, and once again, I think her makeup looks great? but I?m gradually coming to the opinion that Kristen simply has a face that ?takes? extreme makeup. You know, some girls can?t DO dramatic makeup – I?m one of them. I look better when my makeup is natural and ?dewy? – not ?dramatic?. Kristen can pull off extreme makeup looks. I think the little dog on her lap is kind of dumb, though. She?s not Paris Hilton. She?s not a fashion girl carrying around a little dog in her Birkin.
As for the VF interview? well, VF really went out of their way to release some of the best quotes. It feels like VF is really trying to win over the all-powerful Twihard contingent, especially when Kristen goes off, yelling at her biggest critics (although I don?t think she accurately assesses her critics? arguments).
?I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph,? Kristen Stewart tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Ingrid Sischy in July?s cover story. ?I get some serious sh-t about it. I?m not embarrassed about it. I?m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like sh-t in half my photos, and I don?t give a f–k. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ?She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.? I don?t care about the voracious, starving sh-t eaters who want to turn truth into sh-t. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!?
On top of battling personal reluctance, Stewart also struggles with the public?s preconceived notions about her personality. ?People have decided how they are going to perceive her,? Robert Pattinson tells V.F. of Stewart. ?No matter how many times she smiles, they?ll put in the one picture where she?s not smiling.?
But for all her nose-thumbing at critics who demand perfection, she looks pretty perfect in the photographs from July?s Vanity Fair, in which she poses at locations across Paris in spring?s couture for contributing photographer Mario Testino. In some of the most glamorous photographs, Stewart wears haute couture at the ballet, posing with dancer Jrmie Blingard in a pantless Jean Gaultier corset and dripping in Faberg diamonds and emeralds, at right.
Of her personal style, she tells us she?s evolved into loving wearing ?some cool sh-t? from the world?s most respected and avant-garde designers, although she wasn?t always attuned to the power of fashion. ?Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother?s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn?t wearing Juicy jeans. I didn?t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it?s not like I didn?t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ?Oh my God! That?s disgusting?you don?t shave your legs!?
Now past the initial Sting of her harsh childhood critics, Stewart has developed into a wry and at-ease adult, and Sischy caught her in the mood for modest adventures?like when she takes the actress to a quiet, tucked-away table in the back of a Parisian seafood restaurant, where they are offered escargot, a dish that Stewart has never tried. After warily eyeing the snails, she dives right in?washing them down with white wine and bread?and says with a grin, ?Pretty good. Though I just don?t want to eat a whole plate of them.?
Of her life as a major star, she reflects on the moment when she realized that Twilight had changed her life. ?You can Google my name and one of the first things that comes up is images of me sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and my dog. It was [taken] the day the movie came out. I was no one. I was a kid. I had just turned 18. In [the tabloids] the next day it was like I was a delinquent slimy idiot, whereas I?m kind of a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot. Big deal. But that changed my daily life instantly. I didn?t go out in my underwear anymore.?
For her part, author Sischy sees ?something so endearing, so human, about [Stewart?s] combination of bravado, kindness, self-preservation, self-assertion, and revved-up fierceness that I found her cheering. Of course, her idealism and drive to tell it as she sees it?the voracious, starving shit eaters be damned!?could be just a product of her youth. She could grow up to be another narcissistic snore, but my sense is that?s not in the cards here.?
[From Vanity Fair]
In case you missed it, the word of the day was ?sh-t?. When she was interviewed in Elle, the word of the day was ?f-ck?. I know she?s super-cool and somewhat intelligent (I go back and forth on that), but she really needs to change up her vocabulary. I cuss like a sailor too, but every other word out of my mouth isn?t ?sh-t? and ?f–k?. Also: did anyone else not really see Kristen?s delineation from ?delinquent slimy idiot? and ?a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot?? Plus, I just don?t think anyone should refer to themselves as ?a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot.? That?s like Rooney Mara calling herself ?aloof?.
Here?s the Vanity Fair behind-the-scenes video for the K-Stew-stans.

| Kristen Stewart in GUiSHEM at the MTV Movie Awards: pretty or rough? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kristen Stewart was the woman of the hour at the MTV Movie Awards. Sort of. While Kristen only took home one award – ?Best Kiss? which she had to accept solo – she presented with her Snow White costar Chris Hemsworth, and she got a lot of cutaways and stuff. I think it?s interesting that Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress (or whatever the category is called), and that Kristen had to announce it. Personally, I think there is a real rivalry between J-Law and K-Stew – it?s not like ?OMG, bitch-fight!?. But it?s a healthy competition, and it would have been an interesting moment if Jennifer Lawrence had shown up.
Anyway, Kristen Stewart wore this GUiSHEM mini-dress which I don?t really hate. All of the girls were in mini-dresses last night, did you notice? This one is kind of weird/cute – Kristen loves this silhouette, and the colors and back straps are interesting. My one big complaint about her styling? HER HAIR. I don?t understand how her hair looked great two weeks ago and now it looks like a poorly-dyed rat?s nest. Is her hair just dirty? Or is it a confluence of several awful factors?
When Kristen won for ?Best Kiss? and she had to go up there alone, I?m assuming she knew she was going to win and she had her little bit prepared. Did you notice how incredibly awkward she is when it?s a bit she?s rehearsed?

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson may have won the Best Kiss trophy for the fourth time but Rob wasn’t there to celebrate their achievement so Kristen had to make out with herself. I’ve said it every time two people made out in a movie. It’d be so much better if they just got rid of the guy. Someone finally listened.
Here’s Kristen on the red carpet. As you’d expect, she looks real shifty. As if she silently farted.

She?s one of the most anticipated guests of the evening, and earlier tonight (June 3) Kristen Stewart was spotted arriving at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.
The Bella Swan beauty worked the red carpet with the utmost grace while decked out in a chic ensemble consisting of a GUiSHEM Fall 2012 RTW dress with Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps.
Along with presenting an award, Kristen finds herself nominated for Best Kiss for her smooch with co-star beau Robert Pattinson in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1".
Asked whether she and Rob will be doted with the liplock saluting hardware once more, the 21-year-old replied, "You know, you can't have too many expectations going into that. There's a lot going into that, just to be there is a huge honor."
