These are some new photos of Kristen Stewart at two events yesterday. The red carpet photos are from an industry screening of Snow White and the Huntsman, and the photos where Kristen is wearing the red jacket are from a Q&A session at Universal with Sam Claflin (sidenote about Sam: WORST PANTS-WEARER EVER). Kristen?s screening outfit is Stella McCartney. Thoughts? I kind of hate it, as I almost always hate Stella?s hideous designs. I really don?t know why Kristen does anything with a high neck. High neck + bad posture = slouchy, uncomfortable.
As for that red jacket – it?s Balenciaga. Also kind of rough. It looks so dated, like it belongs in a Michael Jackson music video. I tend to think Kristen is still learning, still trying out different looks, but I also think she?s getting some bad advice sometimes, and she doesn?t know her own strengths.
Anyway, if you couldn?t tell, there are about a million Kristen stories and Charlize Theron stories – because SWATH is opening up this weekend, so it?s the final push. You can read excerpts from Kristen?s Interview Magazine piece here – she actually impressed me a bit in that magazine. She came across as bright, although lacking in eloquence perhaps. The only other story of interest (to me) is Kristen?s ?review? of her sparkly lover?s latest film:
Memo to Kristen Stewart: If this whole movie-star thingy doesn’t work out, maybe you can give film criticism a shot. The Snow White and the Huntsman star, who recently took Cannes by storm with a PDA-filled romp with Robert Pattinson, was asked by MTV News to weigh in on his new flick, Cosmopolis, which received a splashy premiere at the fest. So did the famously private star pull a Roger Ebert and get those movie thumbs ready for critical action?
“He’s so good in it! Really, really,” K.Stew raved.
“I don’t even know how he…,” she continued, clearly at a loss for words. “I couldn’t even understand it. It’s so good, it’s so cool. I’m so proud of him.”
The couple has slowly started to loosen up about their discreet romance. Earlier this month, Stewart chatted with Elle magazine about Pattinson’s other 2012 flick, Bel Ami, and the two publicly supported each other in Cannes, where her own film, On the Road, premiered. The duo were later spotted locking lips at the flick’s after-party.
No surprise, then, that K.Stew copped to having a blast at the glamorous French film fest.
“It’s the ultimate celebration,” she said. “I was so oddly placed in my body, which I’m very unable to do. I was so not nervous. I had the greatest time?it was, like, so cool.”

I have something nice to say about Kristen and Sparkles? Twihards, pay attention! I like that both Kristen and Sparkles support each other?s careers. I think it?s incredibly sweet that Pattinson always talks up Kristen as an actress, and it?s clear that he thinks she?s very talented. It?s nice that Kristen is his cheerleader too. I like that there doesn?t seem to be any drama about competing careers and ?who has the bigger film? and all of that stuff.
One last nice thing: Kristen?s makeup person is AMAZING. Something bad: whoever did her hair for the screening should be fired.

With less than a week remaining until her movie hits theaters, Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of Universal Pictures' "Snow White and the Huntsman" on Tuesday evening (May 29).
Held at Westwood Village, the lovely young actress looked chic in a white collared top with a charcoal blazer and black mini skirt for the Tinseltown screening.
Prior to the premiere event, Miss Stewart and Mr Claflin were on hand at the MTV sneak peek of "Snow White and the Hunstman" at Universal Citywalk in Santa Monica.
While the fairy tale film is set to hit theaters this Friday (June 1), Kristen already is talking about her interest in doing a sequel.
Gushing to E! about her excitement of doing another "Snow White" film, the Bella Swan beauty said, "I would do it in a heartbeat, I know with the people involved it would only be done [because] it's very worthwhile and it's a good movie. We wouldn't just be cashing in."
Unlike the "Twilight" saga, Stewart explained that there are no necessary plans to make a second film, telling, "We don't have to do it, that's the coolest thing. There's no pressure. But to be able to expand on this would be awesome."
So before making the highly anticipated twisted fairy tale, was the 22-year-old up to date on her princess knowledge? "I had to rewatch it before we went off to shoot," she said. "Not so much as a reference, but more for fun."
K Stew also dished that she wasn't much of the fairy tale kind of girl when she was little, saying, "I wasn't into any of the princess ones, which I'm sure isn't much of a surprise, I loved 'The Jungle Book' and 'Robin Hood' and stuff more like that."

This was from last week but Kristen Stewart looked better than she has for a while during the Cosmopolis premiere in Cannes. She still has a pissy look on her face like she doesn’t want to be there but whatever. I’ll take it.
Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson may have starred in Twilightbut he still seems like a cool dude because there’s not one set of premiere photos where he’s not making faces.

Having wrapped up her time overseas, Kristen Stewart made her way back to the States as she arrived into LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (May 26).
The casually clad "Twilight" actress offered up a small smile as she passed through the metro terminal after having made the long flight from France following her publicity efforts at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival.
During her time in Cannes, Miss Stewart spoke with numerous media outlets while dishing about her movies "On The Road" and "Snow White and the Huntsman" - with the latter set to hit theaters on June 1st.
Of her role as fairy tale character Snow White, Kristen expressed her distaste for having to spend so much time atop a horse, as she dished, "Riding a horse was the worst part of the movie. The dynamic between horse and rider is not for me."
The 22-year-old added, "I'll happily watch a horse run around a pasture, I'll even run with him but I hate riding horses. But it's cool to watch people genuinely uncomfortable on screen."

Trying to enjoy a night out together, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were busy party hopping in Cannes, France on Friday night (May 25).
The "Twilight" beauty looked rocker chic in a bright red leather jacket that she paired with cut off black denim shorts and Nike sneakers while her actor beau wore a more formal outfit in a tuxedo complete with a bow tie.
As could be expected, the pair drew quite an intense mob of fans as their security was seen holding people back just so they could make it into their vehicle.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Rob and Kristen are in the southern France locale for the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival - where they are promoting their latest films.
Pattinson took to the red carpet earlier on Friday for the premiere of his newest movie "Cosmopolis" with co-stars Sarah Gadon and Paul Giamatti while Kristen dazzled on the red carpet just a few days prior for the debut screening of her new flick, "On The Road".

I knew that Kristen Stewart would at least show up for Robert Pattinson‘s big Cannes premiere of Cosmopolis, but she did more than just turn up and do her infamous eye roll. Kristen probably looks better here than I’ve ever seen her look before! She donned a red Reem Acra gown and looks unbelievably sexy here. In fact, Kaiser and I have both been sitting here and admiring how perky her boobs are in this dress. Did you even realize that KStew had boobs before she wore this dress? Probably not.
Bright red lipstick and glammed up hair and minimal accessories really set off the whole package, and while Kaiser doesn’t really like the lace detail on the sides and back, I do for very unexplained reasons.
But KStew didn’t walk the red carpet alone. Her escort was Tom Sturridge, also known as Rob’s BFF and Sienna Miller’s baby daddy. I guess Tom makes a good enough escort despite the scrunchie. God, I wish he’d just cut that thing off.
Kristen looked so good at this premiere that I almost forgot that she didn’t even star within the movie. So let’s check on Rob and his co-stars, shall we?
Sarah Gadon wore a strapless, royal blue Jason Wu dress with a black waistband. It was kind of meh, but so is Sarah. As for Rob, he pulled some excellent faces on his way into the theater.
Of course, there were lots of other gorgeous ladies on the red carpet, and several of them gave Kristen a run for her proverbial money by wearing red dresses as well. Some were more appropriate than … others.
Natasha Poly probably thought she was bringing it in this trashy-looking scarlet cutout dress, but she looked like she was begging for attention. Did she realize that the leading man’s girlfriend would also be wearing a sexy red gown? Probably not, but Natasha overdid it in a big way here.
In contrast, Beatrice Rose did better in red than Natasha did. She made a statement but didn’t go overboard.
Julianna Margulies didn’t look like a showoff at all in red in this Reed Krakoff color-block dress. Even with a strapless gown, Julianna manages to somehow look demure.
Next came a sea of greens and blues for several other ladies in attendance.
Doutzen Kroes wore this slightly ugly sequined Elie Saab gown with a black waistband. Her purposely messy hair and flawless makeup redeemed her look somewhat.
Lily Donaldson looked really cute in this green number. She’s an effortless beauty.
Finally, we have Aishwarya Rai in a midnight blue, embroidered Elie Saab couture gown. She is pure class and looked amazing.

There are a ton of new reviews out for On the Road now that critics in Cannes have finally gotten to see it. The reviews are? mixed. And they?re not what I was expecting. I have no interest in nit-picking or anything, so just Google ?On the Road review? and pick and choose which reviews to put stock in (I think The Hollywood Reporter?s review is pretty fair and comprehensive). I think most critics agree that several of the performances are very good (I?ve seen praise for Garrett Hedlund, Viggo Mortensen, Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart), and most critics agree that On the Road is a really difficult book to adapt and Walter Salles made an interesting film that won?t make everybody happy.
But all of the reviews coming out of Cannes are not so straight-forward. Radar reports that Kristen Stewart?s performance – as the teenage bride who has several sex romps in the film – is drawing out some criticism from those people who think she should remain a virginal, family-friendly oasis. LIKE BELLA!!!
Kristen Stewart?s teen queen crown is going to get severely dislodged, thanks to salacious threesome sex scenes in her upcoming film, On The Road, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that her controversial role has disgusted conservative groups.
?The movie industry has a twisted affection for making raunchy films that use and abuse former child stars,? Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
?In the film On The Road, Kristen Stewart engages in a threesome and masturbates two male characters according to reports. How will parents who took their daughters to see the Twilight movies explain this?? asked Gainor.

?All we’ve learned here is that parents should tell their children that the time when most in Hollywood are truly acting is when they are acting decently,? he adamantly concluded.

Now, you know I?m not some huge Kristen Stewart fan, but for goodness sake, LEAVE KRISTEN ALONE. Some days, I?m irritated by the whole ?let me sexpot my way out of the Disney ghetto? path that too many young celebrity women attempt, but there?s a difference in this situation – Kristen is an actress. She?s playing a part, and some say she?s playing the part very, very well. She should not be criticized for stretching herself as an actress and getting out of her comfort zone for a good role.
When Kristen discussed the ?controversial? threesome scene yesterday in Cannes, K-Stew said, ?I wanted to do it? I love pushing. I love scaring myself. I’ve always wanted to get as close to an experience as I could. I was almost the same age Luanne was at the time, but I was a much younger 16, so I’m glad I had a chance to age before we started shooting.?

We covered the On the Road photo call earlier today – go here to see. These are some of the early photos from tonight?s red carpet premiere in Cannes. Just know that all of the photos haven?t come in yet and this post is just for the early ones, so you can talk about fashion and stuff. You know what?s nice? Robert Pattinson came out to support Kristen Stewart?s film! I think that?s sweet. I didn?t even realize Sparkles had arrived in Cannes yet (I?m not a Twihard) – his film promotional work doesn?t start until Friday, I think. So he came early to spend time with Kristen and to support her film. Sweet.
As far as I can see, Sparkles and Kristen didn?t pose together on the carpet – she was too busy with her cast. As for Kristen Stewart?s dress? it?s Balenciaga. She wore Balenciaga earlier today, and I?m guessing her fashion contract means she has to wear the label for day and night appearances. This dress is pretty – it?s not blowing me away, but at least it?s not some hideous, fur-ball Marchesa.
Kiki Dunst looked? eh. I?ll say something nice about this Dior – it?s an interesting color choice for her. Kiki often chooses the lightest creams, whites and pastels, and it?s nice to see her in something bold. But I?m not crazy about this dress. Also: I?m really starting to wonder if she IS pregnant after all.
Ah, VIGGO!!! Why does he look so hot to me right now?
PS? Name that ginger. I can?t.
