This is your Open Post for tonight?s MTV Movie Awards, which begin tonight at 9 pm EST. We?ll have full coverage of the event tomorrow! Russell Brand is hosting, which Bedhead is excited about. The last time MTV let Brand host something, he was the catalyst for several controversies, including some ?jokes? about the Jonas Brothers? virginity, if I?m remembering correctly.
For this year?s awards show, there are actually going to be some interesting people on hand to present, and some good performances that I?m looking forward to. The Black Keys are performing!!! HUZZAH! I love them. Fun (fun.) is also performing. While Kristen Stewart (seen in these photos during her Today Show appearance last week) is scheduled to come, Robert Pattinson has dropped out of the show. Kristen and Sparkles are nominated for Best Kiss – so if they win, I guess Kristen will just have to go up there all by herself. (SOB!)
Guess who else is coming? MICHAEL FASSBENDER!!! He?s presenting, probably with Charlize Theron as a way to promote Prometheus. Also presenting: Mila Kunis, Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, and probably some of The Hunger Games people too. You can see a list of the nominees here.

Continuing to log those frequent flyer miles, Kristen Stewart was spotted arriving for a flight out of JFK Airport in New York City this afternoon (June 1).
Fully immersed in the denim trend, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" lady donned a jean-inspired top, white tee, light wash pant and black sneakers as she readied her departure.
During recent press duties for her new film, K Stew called co-star Charlize a bit intimidating at first, as she explained, "We have such completely opposite energies. I mean, I cannot begin to describe to you. I was very curious initially how that was going to go."
Kristen male castmate Sam Clafin also agreed, telling, "I didn't cross paths with her too much in the film. However, pretty much everytime that she walked on set she kind of had this presence?the Charlize Theron, I call it now. She's a very strong-willed, independent woman."

Promoting Snow White and the Huntsmenreleasing this Friday, Kristen Stewart was asked whether this film marked a new phase in her career and served as a way to distance herself from the Twilightfranchise.
” ‘Twilight’ means so much to me, but it doesn’t stand out in terms of — ” she paused, looking for the right words. “Everything I do needs to be really important. ['Snow White'] is neither better or worse than anything I’ve done.” LAT
It’s not better or worse than anything she’s ever done. Wow, what a glowing recommendation. Hey, Kristen, now tell us what makes this movie worth watching. “Well, Snow White has a sword in this one.” Amazing! You don’t say?! Can we look forward to more variety like this in your future projects? “Yea, maybe, I don’t know.”

Continuing her long day of media duties, Kristen Stewart was spotted on her way to ?Live with Kelly? in New York City today (May 31).
The ?Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2? starlet looked cute and casual in a black jacket, black top, and khaki trousers as she prepared to promote her new flick ?Snow White and the Huntsman.?
As for her boyfriend Robert Pattinson, Kristen couldn?t say enough good things about his forthcoming movie ?Cosmopolis.?
Stewart shared, "He's so good in it! He's really, really [good]. I don't even know how he [did it]. I couldn't even understand it. It's so good, it's so cool and I'm so proud of him."

Gearing up for a busy day of promotional appearances, Kristen Stewart was spotted out in New York City this morning (May 31).
The ?Adventureland? actress looked lovely in a green and gray dress as she prepared for her interview on "The Today Show" to plug her new movie ?Snow White and the Huntsman.?
In a recent interview, Kristen talked about the public?s perception that she?s trying to ditch her Bella Swan persona by taking different movie roles.
She explained, "People are going to think that it's me trying to either distance myself from 'Twilight' or try to prove myself beyond it or whatever. But it's [just] good timing. I think it's all fallen off the truck in a really lucky way. But it's totally not my doing."

These are new photos of Kristen Stewart arriving in New York City yesterday. She had been in LA, where she did a Q&A with Bad-Pants McGee and she also attended a screening for Snow White & The Huntsman. I?m hoping that we get an actual big premiere tonight, but I can?t find out if one is scheduled. I think Charlize is still in New York too, so chances are pretty good that something will go down tonight. As for Kristen?s travel outfit – those are the same busted skinny jeans she always wears. I think the kicks are new. And God help me, I LOVE that top. I want that top in all of the colors.

Making another trip across the country, Kristen Stewart touched down at JFK airport in New York City this afternoon (May 30).
In town to promote her newest film ?Snow White and the Huntsman,? the actress sported her usual casual attire in a black beanie with grey skinny jeans and a grey sweatshirt as she made her way past the awaiting paparazzi.
In recent news, the ?Twilight? actress dished to MTV! After Hours about the first time she read an excerpt from the racy novel ?Fifty Shades of Grey? on a television special with cast mates Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron.
"To be honest, having watched that back, I took it way too seriously," the actor laughed as he recalled the video. "All four of us did very different readings, but I actually properly read it. I got really into it."

These are some new photos of Kristen Stewart at two events yesterday. The red carpet photos are from an industry screening of Snow White and the Huntsman, and the photos where Kristen is wearing the red jacket are from a Q&A session at Universal with Sam Claflin (sidenote about Sam: WORST PANTS-WEARER EVER). Kristen?s screening outfit is Stella McCartney. Thoughts? I kind of hate it, as I almost always hate Stella?s hideous designs. I really don?t know why Kristen does anything with a high neck. High neck + bad posture = slouchy, uncomfortable.
As for that red jacket – it?s Balenciaga. Also kind of rough. It looks so dated, like it belongs in a Michael Jackson music video. I tend to think Kristen is still learning, still trying out different looks, but I also think she?s getting some bad advice sometimes, and she doesn?t know her own strengths.
Anyway, if you couldn?t tell, there are about a million Kristen stories and Charlize Theron stories – because SWATH is opening up this weekend, so it?s the final push. You can read excerpts from Kristen?s Interview Magazine piece here – she actually impressed me a bit in that magazine. She came across as bright, although lacking in eloquence perhaps. The only other story of interest (to me) is Kristen?s ?review? of her sparkly lover?s latest film:
Memo to Kristen Stewart: If this whole movie-star thingy doesn’t work out, maybe you can give film criticism a shot. The Snow White and the Huntsman star, who recently took Cannes by storm with a PDA-filled romp with Robert Pattinson, was asked by MTV News to weigh in on his new flick, Cosmopolis, which received a splashy premiere at the fest. So did the famously private star pull a Roger Ebert and get those movie thumbs ready for critical action?
“He’s so good in it! Really, really,” K.Stew raved.
“I don’t even know how he…,” she continued, clearly at a loss for words. “I couldn’t even understand it. It’s so good, it’s so cool. I’m so proud of him.”
The couple has slowly started to loosen up about their discreet romance. Earlier this month, Stewart chatted with Elle magazine about Pattinson’s other 2012 flick, Bel Ami, and the two publicly supported each other in Cannes, where her own film, On the Road, premiered. The duo were later spotted locking lips at the flick’s after-party.
No surprise, then, that K.Stew copped to having a blast at the glamorous French film fest.
“It’s the ultimate celebration,” she said. “I was so oddly placed in my body, which I’m very unable to do. I was so not nervous. I had the greatest time?it was, like, so cool.”

I have something nice to say about Kristen and Sparkles? Twihards, pay attention! I like that both Kristen and Sparkles support each other?s careers. I think it?s incredibly sweet that Pattinson always talks up Kristen as an actress, and it?s clear that he thinks she?s very talented. It?s nice that Kristen is his cheerleader too. I like that there doesn?t seem to be any drama about competing careers and ?who has the bigger film? and all of that stuff.
One last nice thing: Kristen?s makeup person is AMAZING. Something bad: whoever did her hair for the screening should be fired.

With less than a week remaining until her movie hits theaters, Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of Universal Pictures' "Snow White and the Huntsman" on Tuesday evening (May 29).
Held at Westwood Village, the lovely young actress looked chic in a white collared top with a charcoal blazer and black mini skirt for the Tinseltown screening.
Prior to the premiere event, Miss Stewart and Mr Claflin were on hand at the MTV sneak peek of "Snow White and the Hunstman" at Universal Citywalk in Santa Monica.
While the fairy tale film is set to hit theaters this Friday (June 1), Kristen already is talking about her interest in doing a sequel.
Gushing to E! about her excitement of doing another "Snow White" film, the Bella Swan beauty said, "I would do it in a heartbeat, I know with the people involved it would only be done [because] it's very worthwhile and it's a good movie. We wouldn't just be cashing in."
Unlike the "Twilight" saga, Stewart explained that there are no necessary plans to make a second film, telling, "We don't have to do it, that's the coolest thing. There's no pressure. But to be able to expand on this would be awesome."
So before making the highly anticipated twisted fairy tale, was the 22-year-old up to date on her princess knowledge? "I had to rewatch it before we went off to shoot," she said. "Not so much as a reference, but more for fun."
K Stew also dished that she wasn't much of the fairy tale kind of girl when she was little, saying, "I wasn't into any of the princess ones, which I'm sure isn't much of a surprise, I loved 'The Jungle Book' and 'Robin Hood' and stuff more like that."
