Don?t ask me to recap last night?s Kids Choice Awards. I didn?t watch it, nor did I do anything but briefly skim a few stories about it. You can go here for a recap of the night?s events. Some celebrities got slimed. Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber seemed to win lots of awards. I?m just going to cover some of the fashion from the event, and I do mean ?some? – because I don?t recognize two-thirds of the ?stars? at the event.
Let?s start with Kristen Stewart, shall we? She stood out for me because A) I?m surprised Kristen still gets roped into doing these events, and I kind of like that she still puts in appearances at awards shows that she could totally ignore; B) Kristen looked gorgeous! I?m not completely in love with this Stella McCartney dress – it?s a beautiful color, but something isn?t working for me about the fit and the fabric (which looks like fancy wallpaper). Still, Kristen looks great. Tiny little waist, and the girl loves her minidresses. Just one thing: STAND UP STRAIGHT. Also: K-Stew loves her dark eye makeup. Which is fine – it suits her current ?look?. I would like to see her experiment with some subtler makeup styles, though.
Next up: Heidi Klum, in one of her first post-divorce red carpet appearances. I love everything about Heidi?s look here. The dress and boots are by Roland Mouret. The dress is flattering, understated, and awesome. The boots are AMAZING. I even love Heidi?s styling here – great makeup, good hair. I hope this is the start of a whole new Red Carpet Klum.

Making one of the most-anticipated arrivals of all those turning up on the star-studded orange carpet, Kristen Stewart was a hit (to say the least) at Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (March 31).
The Bella Swan beauty, who donned a springtime stylish Stella McCartney frock, was swarmed as she trekked through the USC Galen Center press area while gearing up for a promising evening in the spotlight.
Among the award hopefuls this year, Miss Stewart is in the running for Favorite Movie Actress for her work in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1" while facing off against Amy Adams, Sofia Vergara and Emma Watson.
Meanwhile, the Kids' Choice Awards are being hosted by Will Smith while airing live on Nickelodeon beginning at 8/7c.

These are even more photos from WonderCon! Not only did Charlize Theron get to sit next to (and flirt with) Michael Fassbender for Prometheus, she also promoted Snow White & the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart. Last year, Kristen and Charlize were sent out to do some early SWATH promotion at Comic-Con, and Kristen was criticized by some major outlets for her ?affected emo shtick? – like, she couldn?t even sit in a chair normally, and she has all of those nervous tics and such. I?m happy to say that in these photos, K-Stew?s nervousness (or her ?affected emo shtick?) has gotten much, much better. She sitting in a chair normally! She doesn?t look like she?s about to cry from the sheer ANGST of answering questions. Good for her. I wonder if she finally invested in a public-speaking coach? Also: Kristen is wearing a shirt belonging to Sparkles. For realz!
During the panel discussion (which didn?t seem to involve Chris Hemsworth), Kristen discussed her terror at all of the stunt work she had to do, and Charlize talked about her baby a little bit:
She is known to her legion of Twilight fans as the sweet-natured teenager Bella Swan. But Kristen Stewart has revealed she prefers playing darker characters, and likes to use swear words, as she promoted her forthcoming movie Snow White and the Huntsmen in California today.
The actress used a particularly hard-hitting word to explain the character trait that is driving her career choices. The 21-year-old actress said: ‘It’s because I’m a bitch.’
Her comment was the highlight of a rather fruity question and answer session about the film at the WonderCon convention in Anaheim. But she also said she was excited about the film’s more mature characterisation of the familiar fairy tale favourite, saying: ‘Everything I wanted Snow White to be is there and that’s really rare. And the Los Angeles born star said she had to put herself through the mill to play the aggressive militaristic imagining of Snow White.
She said: ‘I hurt myself a lot. I got to jump off cliffs and ride horses. And that terrified me. I didn’t like that.’
Kristen’s co-star Charlize Theron, 36, was also in foulmouthed form as they tried to live up to the movie’s more adult demographic.
Explaining why she wanted to play the Evil Queen, she said: ‘Everyone has an idea of her. And there’s something nice about f***ing with that idea.’
When told that she plays ?evil? really well, Charlize replied: ?That?s because I?m a bitch?.Picasso had his blue period, and this is my bitch period.?
It was a big week for Charlize, for as well as attending WonderCon, she also revealed she had adopted a baby boy called Jackson, who is now four-months-old. The South African stunner told Ryan Searest that ‘everyone has been so lovely’, ‘nice’ and ‘amazing,’ on his radio show last week.

Yes, Charlize is in a ?bitch period?. It?s called “her career?. She?s good at playing bitches – there?s no shame in that. Although I do think she might be actively trying to shake up her (bitchy) image a bit with her new baby, Jackson. Charlize also called into Ryan Seacrest?s radio show last week to talk about the baby – you can read some of it here. She?s learning about swaddling.
Also – from everything I?ve seen, Charlize and Kristen are really nice to each other. They consistently say nice things about each other in the press, and they seemed to work well together. So even though Charlize looks kind of ?over it? in these photos, I don?t think that has anything to do with Kristen.

I hate this new trend of making a ?preview? of a trailer. Yesterday, I watched a ?sneak peek? of a new trailer for Prometheus (FAAAASSSYYY!!), and now I?m watching the sneak peek of the new trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman. Why?!?! Why not just release the damn trailer for the love of God. I know it?s to build interest and suspense, but IT?S A TRAILER. We don?t need a sneak peek of a trailer. But in case you?re interested, here?s the sneak peek:
I should note that back in November of last year, the studio already released a teaser trailer – you can see it here. I think there?s a second teaser floating around too. Anyway, in addition to the sneak peek, the studio also released this video with some behind-the-scenes action and cast interviews:
The set design looks gorgeous, it really does. It will be interesting to see this film simply for the costume and set design pr0n.
In other Kristen Stewart news, she gave a short interview to Premiere France to preview SWATH. The Twihard sites found someone to translate!
Revisiting Snow White today is before all a look and attitude business. Fun, funny, and coloured to one side; dark, tortured and gothic to the other. Speaking of look, a true shock aesthetic is waiting for us in Pinewood’s corridor when Snow White/Kristen Stewart heads to us wearing the medieval armor that she wears in the movie.
“I didn’t want to play a Disney-style heroine,? says the actress directly. ?I mean, come on look at me, I’m more like Joan of Arc right? In our version, Snow White’s a warrior.”
A warrior that spends almost the all time yomping in the forest next to a quiet huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, the handsome Thor) and bringing together an army to evict the queen of her kingdom. If you hoped a scene where she’s baking an apple pie while humming Someday My Prince Will Come, you might wait a long time.
“It’s good ’cause when I was a kid, I was never dressed up as a princess. My thing was more Dracula”, she says with a smile, aware of the impact that has that kind of statement when the world still see her as Bella Swan in Twilight. “But we’re not here to play differences game, she says just before she was going back to the set. Before you go see the movie, reread the Grimm’s version and you’ll see that we stayed very close to it.”

I thought you guys would like to dissect her comments with the same furor that you had for Jessica Biel yesterday in that post about Biel?s W Magazine cover. Biel claimed she ?never identified with girls? or girly things. Kristen is saying basically the same thing – she?s not interested in playing princesses. She wants to play warriors and tomboy badasses. Judge away.
In one last piece of K-Stew news, Star Magazine reports this week that Robert Pattinson and Kristen enjoyed their week-long stay in Paris so much that Sparkles plunked down $1 million for a new little Parisian pied--terre that they will share. Apparently, their conflicting work schedules were bothering them, and Kristen is so excited that Sparkles made the commitment. It?s probably crap, but who knows?

Offering a first glimpse into the upcoming adventure/drama, the trailer for "On the Road" has just hit the web!
Starring Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund in the leads, the movie tells the story of Dean and Sal, who are the portrait of the Beat Generation. Their search for "It" results in a fast paced, energetic roller coaster ride with highs and lows throughout the U.S.
Of working with Kristen, Garrett previously told MTV News that she is "incredible, and in this, everyone is going to get to see how hard of a worker she is, man. I mean, the devotion that she puts into her work, and her performance is going to be exposed highly in this."
The Walter Salles directed film also stars Kirsten Dunst, Tom Sturridge, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams and Sam Riley.

I?m not sure why or how I missed these photos yesterday, because I was looking for them. These are photos from two nights ago, at the Paris Fashion Week event, ?Louis Vuitton – Marc Jacobs: The Exhibition?. I want to start with Kristen Stewart, because this is maybe the best she?s ever looked, in my opinion. The thing with Kristen is that she?s a pretty girl, but she messes up her ?look? very often. Bad styling, bad hair, bad posture, lip-biting, eye-rolling, it all contributes to her fugging up a decent look. Even when she?s wearing an evening gown and her hair and makeup are wonderful, she usually looks uncomfortable and grim. But here, at this event, in these photos – this is a great look for her. This is what she should be aiming for more often. It?s young. It?s rock n? roll. It?s cute. She?s not overly-styled. She?s not uncomfortable (or, she?s not any more uncomfortable than she usually is). This is her best Paris Fashion Week appearance!
This was also her last appearance at Paris Fashion Week – soon after this event, Kristen and Robert Pattinson flew to LA. But they still had this night! And Sparkles even came out for it too – here?s a photo of Sparkles doing his ?model-face? at the Marc Jacobs event.
You know who else looked surprisingly great? Sarah Jessica Parker! I know, I know. This decade-old Vuitton dress is ?too young? for her, but I still think she looks awesome here.
And finally, let?s talk about Marc Jacobs and his friend Peter Marino. I mean? sure. Jacobs likes the rough trade. I think that?s been established. So? I?m not offended by this in the larger sense. Although I hate that Marc paired his Pink dress with those fug shoes. THAT is what bugs me.

Still situated in the French capital city, Kristen Stewart was back amidst the stylish doings that coincide with the semi-annual Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 6).
The Bella Swan babe opted for a casual look in a black leather jacket, rolled up jeans and a black and white striped shirt as she was escorted inside Louis Vuitton's showroom.

All of last week, Kristen Stewart was in France for Paris Fashion Week. She?s the latest face of Balenciaga, and she was likely contractually obligated to make an appearance at the runway show, and maybe even a few more functions too. For the most part, Kristen didn?t seem too pleased with any of it – she was photographed looking grim and tired for most of the week, although in her defense, I don?t think she likes wearing makeup and I think her ?natural? expression is rather grim and dull – that?s just what she looks like when she?s not posing.
Anyway, things started looking up for Kristen over the weekend. Her beloved Sparkles arrived in Paris!!! Yay? I don?t think Robert Pattinson had any business in Paris, so he probably just came to spend time with his girlfriend and have a nice, romantic, loved-up break. Of course, they took pains to avoid being photographed together – they left the Meurice Hotel separately, but they met up at the Sardegna Tavola restaurant for dinner on Friday night.
I know some people have a countdown clock attached to Sparkles and Kristen?s relationship – and I tend to agree with those people. I often wonder if they?ll last much longer after the last promotional tour is over. Maybe I?m wrong though – they?ve managed to last this long. Not only last, but they seem to thrive, even when they?re both off, making films across the world, they manage to come and visit each other and they seem to prioritize making time for each other too. Maybe they?re the real deal. Maybe they?ll last longer than ?through this year.? Who knows? But I would love to know what Sparkles and K-Stew spend their time doing in Paris. Do they just sit in the hotel and get high? Or are they just having crazy ?I haven?t seen you in a week? sex?
Also: I hate the trend of buttoning your shirt all the way up. It looks moronic.

Currently situated in the City of Lights during the Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012 festivities, Kristen Stewart was spotted exiting her posh hotel in the French capital city on Friday night (March 2).
The 21-year-old actress was in quite the cheerful mood, as she flashed her adorable smile for the cameras while surrounded by security staffers.
As for her blossoming theatrical career, Miss Stewart is less than three months away from the release of her new film "Snow White and the Huntsman".
Recently asked by Teen.com about what she loved the most about playing the famous fairy tale character, Kristen replied, "It?s strange playing a character that you actually could never truly embody. I can?t have Snow White?s affect on people. I can?t actually be completely selfless because nobody is."
"You can only really play a character like that in a fairytale and play it with an awful load of integrity and not have it just be like a fake character in a movie with other people that do seem real," she added. "She?s a very fully formed but very farfetched from the reality that we live in type of person. She also is strong in a very different way than you?d expect like bullying a person in an action-type adventure movie."

Just take this as further evidence that it?s a slow post-Oscars gossip day. Here are even more photos of Kristen Stewart in Paris, where she?s grimly fulfilling her (likely) million-dollar contract with Balenciaga by appearing at the runway show and showing up to various events. I covered some of the photos yesterday, from outside of the show, where Kristen posed for photos in a bad blouse and killer leather pants. Today, I?m including some shots of Kristen sitting front row at the Balenciaga show, with Salma Hayek and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Can I tell you how much I love this photo of Kristen fully taking in the effortless coolness of Charlotte Gainsbourg?
Yes, Kristen. This is what you were attempting. And this is what you fail to be.
I like this photo because I think that once Kristen got inside, she was handled by some professional makeup and hair people, and in just a few minutes, everything looked so much better:
This is just a great pic. I love how small Kristen looks here – she and Salma are almost the same height! K-Stew is super-tiny.
And these are just photos from another, post-Balenciaga outing that Kristen did in Paris. I think she was going out to lunch or something. She looks kind of strung out to me, but I?d be willing to bet she simply isn?t wearing makeup, and maybe she?s jet-lagged or she was up partying. What?s more interesting than that, though, is the outfit. This is her natural style – see-through shirt, skinny jeans, leather jacket, flats. Now? I?ll defend her right to dress like a tomboy. I?m fine with it. But I also feel like this is an outfit that Kristen put together with a lot of thought, only she wanted to look like she just threw it on. That?s just my opinion of her – she wants people to think that she?s simply a nervous, shy, hipster girl who doesn?t care. But it?s all for effect. Especially considering she?s now the ?face? of a major fashion label and all of this is ?work? for her.
