Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart out and about with Alicia Cargile and some friends on Sunday in LA. Kristen was in New York all last week, promoting Camp X-Ray and Clouds of Sils Maria. Kristen also partied ? undercover but not-so-secretly ? with Nicholas Hoult. Hoult seems to have come out specifically for his friend and Equals costar Kristen, which led some people to wonder if they were in fact ?secretly dating.? My question was more like ?are they bros with benefits?? I think Kristen and Nicholas probably have a very bro-y relationship which could totally include some hooking up. Hoult would be the first solid ?boy rumor? that Kristen has gotten since her split with Sparkles.
But the rumors about Kristen and Alicia Cargile persist. I have to give Kristen a lot of credit here, and you know how she?s not even my favorite person. But I like that she doesn?t give a crap about the incessant and long-standing rumors that she?s gay. Those rumors have been around for so many years, back when the Twihards were mad that Robert Pattinson got together with a girl wearing sneakers and jeans instead of heels and miniskirts. Kristen knows that there are lots of stories about her relationship with Alicia in particular, but K-Stew doesn?t care. She?s still going to publicly hang out with her girlfriends, and she doesn?t give a crap if she?s photographed with Alicia in particular.
Now, are they dating? I have no idea. If they are, God bless and I wish them well. I think Kristen?s aim at this point in her life, post-Twilight and post-Mini Coopering, is to play her personal life closer to the vest. No more public declarations of love, no more chatting about her boyfriend/girlfriend in interviews. At least that seems to be her current phase.

Kristen Stewart got pap?d so much in NYC last week, I didn?t even get the chance to use all of the new photos of her. So here?s a hodge-podge of K-Stew pics from the last week. Enjoy! Kristen managed to avoid being pap?d with Nicholas Hoult, even though he reportedly came out to her NYFF premiere and after-party ? they were reportedly pretty tight at the party, so take that however you want. Kristen also sat down with The Daily Beast for a lengthy interview about Camp X-Ray last week (it was published on Saturday). You can read the full piece here. Most of the conversation is about Gitmo and the politics of Gitmo and terrorism. Kristen also talks about the people who think she cannot act, plus her thoughts on feminism. Some highlights:
Taking two years off, then working with a first-time director on Camp X-Ray: ?I?m never really that precious about choosing projects that don?t have every sure element that is a guaranteed good experience and/or success. There?s a lot of risk involved in this job, and it doesn?t bother me? I?ve had experiences that have made me go, ?Ugh, I have to be careful and make sure that every part is sturdy and that I won?t be let down.? If I was a director, I would be extremely conscious of my filmography. It says so much about the difference between putting your name on something and owning it instead of being one tiny part of it. Actors get to work all the time. If I make a bad movie every once in a while, I don?t care. I didn?t work after Snow White for about two years, but it?s because a lot of these projects didn?t come together. I?m decisive, but I?m definitely not a planner.?
The criticism that she can?t act: ?Honestly, I don?t care. It?s fine. I?m really happy doing what I?m doing. I?m sure there are a ton of people out there who would hate my movies even if they saw all those, just as I?m sure there are people out there who are obsessed with Twilight and say, ?I watched the series, and she completely let me down, and then I watched every one of her other movies, and I f–kin? hate her!? And that?s cool! Just don?t watch my movies.?
Whether she?s politically active: ?I don?t want to talk about that s–t at all. Trust me, I?m only asking for it. When it comes time to stand up and affect change, I?m not the type of person to shout from the rooftops. Just because you?re an actor and in the public eye, people think that?s how you must be. But there are other ways to do that. That?s not me.
She?s confused why some young women don?t identify with feminism: ?That?s such a strange thing to say, isn?t it? Like, what do you mean? Do you not believe in equality for men and women? I think it?s a response to overly-aggressive types. There are a lot of women who feel persecuted and go on about it, and I sometimes am like, ?Honestly, just relax, because now you?re going in the other direction.? Sometimes, the loudest voice in the room isn?t necessarily the one you should listen to. By our nature alone, think about what you?re saying and say it?but don?t scream in people?s faces, because then you?re discrediting us. Relating it to my one little avenue, people say, ?If you want to make it in the film industry as a woman, you have to be a bitch.? No, you are going to ruin any chance you have and give us a bad name. It?s the overcompensation to where our generation goes, ?Relax,? because it?s been easier for us, and because we don?t have as much of the anger, so it?s like we can?t get behind it and it?s a bit embarrassing. But that being said, it?s a really ridiculous thing to say you?re not a feminist.

Kristen?s answer on the feminism question is classic Kristen ? for most of the answer, I thought she was going off in one direction (the ?women need to stop complaining about inequality? direction) and then she does an about-face at the very end with the ?of course you should identify with feminism? direction. Can you talk honestly about feminism if you had a high-profile affair with your married director? I?m honestly acting.
There?s also a somewhat interesting discussion about Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first Twilight movie, and how Hardwicke was basically chased out of Hollywood after the failure of Red Riding Hood. Kristen doesn?t defend her former director and champion specifically at all, but she does say that what happened to Hardwicke was ?f?ked up? and that women need to ?persevere? in the industry to make it.

Ever since Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult signed up for the film Equals, there were rumors about a possible love-match. Those rumors heated up with Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence split up on the eve of the Equals production. Hoult and K-Stew seemed friendly and sort of bro-y and they even did their ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together. Personally, I?ve been thinking this whole time that Kristen has a girlfriend and that Kristen and Hoult are just buds. But this Page Six item made me think again:

The pair, co-stars in the upcoming ?Equals,? were seen cozying up at a Cinema Society bash for Stewart?s new film ?Clouds of Sils Maria? at Omar?s.
We?re told they ?stuck together throughout the party,? which was also attended by Patti Smith, Juliette Binoche and Viggo Mortensen.
Stewart was overheard saying at the screening she liked the script because it makes ?comments about how insane the media can be.?

Can they be bros and still hang out together at a party? Sure. Does anything sexy have to happen? Nope. But my radar is pinging, especially since Hoult doesn?t even have any connection to Clouds of Sils Maria at all. He literally just came out for Kristen. Does a guy do that just for a new female friend without any hope of hot armpit action?
Now?I?ll admit that I love Hoult and J-Law together ? I always thought he grounded her and calmed her. But now that J-Law is with Chris Martin, Hoult might have fallen for She Who Lip-Bites. The crazy fans that feel like it?s a competition between J-Law and K-Stew are going to have a field day with this. Just know: Hoult is the new Sparkles!!! YAY.

She?s been a busy lady as of late, and on Wednesday (October 8) Kristen Stewart showed up on the streets of New York City.
The ?Snow White and the Huntsman? hottie, who just finished filming ?Equals? with Nicholas Hoult, was stylish in a black ensemble as she scurried past a swarm of shutterbugs and ducked into a building.
Meanwhile, a source close to Miss Stewart told E! News that Kristen is having a blast with her bustling career and she?s feeling emotionally healthy these days.
"She is in a really, really good place right now. She is really happy with the films she is working on and she is in a great spot in her career. She is finally able to focus on herself and not worry about the nonsense that is out there. This is the best many close to her have seen her in quite a while."

Kristen Stewart has been in NYC this week to do promotional work for Clouds of Sils Maria and Camp X-Ray. A few nights ago, she wore a J. Mendel minidress that I didn?t really love but didn?t completely hate either. But for the past two nights, Kristen has been representing her Chanel contract and she wore some interesting Chanel looks. First up: this Chanel Fall 2014 dress which she wore to the Clouds of Sils Maria premiere at the New York Film Festival. I really, really like this. This is a great dress for Kristen in particular and in general, for any starlet. I?m loving the fact that long sleeves seem to be on trend this year and I just think ?black with shiny metallic details? is a great look for her.
Kristen?s other Chanel look came on Tuesday, when she did a ?Meet the Filmmakers? event at the Soho Apple Store. The event was for Camp X-Ray. This Chanel look was from the Spring 2015 collection? I?m not a big fan. It?s like Karl Lagerfeld was trying to do deconstructed, high-fashion overalls and it just looks? dated and weird. Meanwhile, everybody?s talking about how Kristen seems pretty relaxed these days. She doesn?t seem to have any romantic drama and she?s supporting three films she believes in. Sources told E! News that K-Stew is ?in a really good place right now.?

Making her promotional rounds, Kristen Stewart showed up at the Apple Store SoHo to talk about her forthcoming film ?Camp X-Ray? last night (October 7) in Manhattan.
Joined by Peter Sattler and Peyman Maadi, the ?Twilight Saga: New Moon? cutie had a blast interacting with fans and answering questions during the special event.
And later, Kristen stopped by ?The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? where she conversed about her new dog and played a round of ?Ring Around the Nosy.?
Stewart and Fallon both donned plastic elephant masks and tried to scoop up rings just using the trunk of their mask!

Stewart stars in Camp X-Ray as a woman who gets a job with the army and is hoping to hightail it out of her claustrophobic small town to Iraq.
Instead she is send to Guantanamo. While most Muslim men in her charge seem to despise her, Cole forms an unlikely bond with Ali (Peyman Moaadi), who has been imprisoned at Gitmo for eight years.

Kicking off the week with some promotional duties, Kristen Stewart showed up at the Crosby Street Hotel in Manhattan on Monday (October 6).
The ?Snow White and the Huntsman? hottie was in the house to plug the premiere of her new flick ?Camp X-Ray,? slated to hit theaters October 17th.
And Kristen looked to be her usual sexy self in a pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos teamed with a green and red sheer fishnet dress and a side-swept hairdo.
?Camp X-Ray? is about a soldier assigned to Guantanamo Bay who befriends a man who has been imprisoned there for eight years.

Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart out and about in LA over the weekend. Random thoughts/details: She wore some too-tight 7 For All Mankind jeans and she was driving her Isuzu. She dropped her keys at one point and the photographer caught it all. I also really like her hair these days. Good color, the cut suits her and overall… she’s looking pretty good. She might need to go up one size in jeans though.
I have to say, I?m sort of impressed with Kristen these days. She?s enjoying great critical buzz about three films, all of which will be released in the next few months. She?s got Still Alice, which might end up getting K-Stew an Oscar nomination. She?s got Clouds of Sils Maria, also critically acclaimed. And she?s got Camp X-Ray, that film where she plays a guard at Gitmo. They just released a new trailer for Camp X-Ray and this has a feel of an Independent Spirit Award winner:
I said it before and I?ll say it again: I actually think Kristen looks really interesting in this role. She seems at home in a military fatigues and her whole awkward, butch vibe really works with this character.
As for Kristen?s personal life? she recently completed filming on Equals with Nicholas Hoult. Some people tried to make it into a thing, like Hoult went from J-Law to K-Stew, but the vibe I got from them was ?friendship? or ?bros.? I actually think there?s a decent chance she?s really dating Alicia Cargile. One thing I?m sure of: K-Stew is not trying to get back with Robert Pattinson. Robsten Is Broken. He?s with FKA Twigs and he?s probably moving back to London. Sparkles and K-Stew are over.
Kristen attended the NYFF premiere of Camp X-Ray last night & I’ll have those photos later. She’s also going to attend the NYFF premiere of Clouds of Sils Maria this week ? the premiere is Wednesday night, so we?ll have the photos on Thursday. Just FYI.
