Racking up some serious frequent flier miles, Kristen Stewart caught an outbound flight at LAX International Airport on Tuesday afternoon (April 7).
As usual, the ?Adventureland? actress hid behind a pair of sunglasses as she scurried past the shutterbugs in a grey hoodie, skinny jeans and Vans sneakers along with a black leather handbag.
And according to insiders, Kristen has received news of her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson?s engagement to FKA Twigs quite well- ?Kristen is doing fine. Working and travelling, and she will survive Robert's engagement. She has her own life and has moved on. Kristen lives a much more low-key life now and seems happier. It was obvious that she was struggling with the media attention (during her relationship with Rob).?

Here are some assorted photos of Kristen Stewart leaving LA over the weekend, plus some pics of K-Stew and her girlfriend Alicia Cargile from two weekends ago (I just never got around to publishing those). Can I just say? I?m really enjoying Kristen?s hair these days. She chopped it off last year and she?s been growing out some shaggy transition styles for the past few months and it looks SO cute. Anyway, Kristen is still giving interviews about her Cesar-Award-winning performance in Clouds of Sils Maria. She spoke to the Associated Press a few days ago about some of her dialogue about how her character reads celebrity gossip online.
Kristen Stewart has moved on from Twilight, and the actress? role in Clouds of Sils Maria gives her an opportunity to mock gently the tabloid chaos that surrounded her at the height of the blockbuster franchise?s popularity. Telling the Associated Press about a scene in which her Hollywood assistant character casually reads gossipy stories about a starlet, Stewart says, ?I had to seriously harness the glee that was exploding across my face when I was saying some of those lines. I don?t think that?s what the movie is fully about. It?s not a commentary about the insane nature of the media in the States, especially. But no one knows about that more than me.?
Stewart is currently in the midst of a long series of smaller, independent roles, including her award-winning performance in Clouds of Sils Maria. ?I?m having more fun now than I ever have,? she says. ?These movies go by (she snaps her fingers). We made Camp X-Ray in 20 days. It?s just better when it?s faster.?
And it?s a lot different than the experience of making the Twilight films, which came with built-in fans and their expectations. ?Because of the lack of expectation of any of these [more recent] movies, there were no moments that people had read in a book that were the most important thing in their lives,? explains Stewart. ?I really let go.?
The interviewer notes that Stewart nods when it?s suggested Twilight is now far from her thoughts. She says, ?Completely. I only have to think about that when someone asks me.?

She always just takes it a touch too far. ?No one knows about that more than me??? Jennifer Aniston would beg to differ. As would Angelina Jolie. And John Travolta, Julia Roberts and Oprah Winfrey. And Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and the Kardashians. Granted, Kristen was a tabloid-cover fixture for several years and if she had said ?It was really bad for me and so many other celebrities,? there would be no problem.

Kristen Stewart has a feature in the new issue of CR Fashion Book (Carine Roitfeld?s side venture). Apparently, Kristen wrote (?) a first-person account of who she is and what she digs for the magazine. The piece is called “In Bed With Kristen Stewart.” Only a handful of quotes have been released, and I?ll admit it ? this gave me an old-school Twihard pang. Like, some of these quotes took me back to the stuff Kristen was saying when she was with Robert Pattinson, just before she maybe-banged a married director in the back of her mom?s Mini Cooper. Remember when she told Elle Mag (back in 2012), ?I can’t wait for something crazy to f—ing happen to me. I want someone to f— me over?? Enter Rupert Sanders. Anyway, here are the highlights from CR Fashion Book:
She digs pain: “I love putting myself through hell and really experiencing that pain. That’s when I feel the most fulfilled, when at the end I feel like I’ve slaughtered myself. And it’s so worth it.”
What turns her on: “For me, the most attractive thing in a person is drive?genuine impulse expressed for the sake of it, not for perception. I think that’s hot.” The need to create “is a compulsion and I share that.”
Her friends: “It’s not hard for me to figure out who I like or who my friends are. I trust my energy meter, but I’m also not afraid to let me people in who might hurt me.”
Impulse control: “I do not approach my life tactfully at all. I’m incredibly impulsive and I am definitely an intense weirdo. I love living and I love people. They trip me out and I want to know more about them all the time. That isn’t something I can turn off and on.”

I?ll be fair to her on some of these quotes ? Kristen has always had a tight-knit group of female friends, and I believe she has a good gut for making friends and keeping friends (exception: Nikki Reed). As for the rest of it? La Lip-Biter is so hardcore, don?t you know? She digs pain. She loves the drama of putting herself and others through hell. And she has poor impulse control. Yep. That about covers it. How long do you think it will be before we find out about some new scandal with Kristen banging some new married guy?

Kristen Stewart is now the first American actress to ever win a Cesar Award. The Cesar Awards are the French Oscars, and Kristen was the first American woman to be nominated for a Cesar in decades, and then last night, she WON. She won for her supporting work in Clouds of Sils Maria, the film she did with Juliette Binoche. Kristen got great reviews for that film, and it was somewhat a French production? Something like that. Other winners at last night?s Cesars included Timbuktu (Best Picture and six other awards), with Saint-Laurent picking up only Best Costume. You can read more about the awards here. Here?s Kristen Stewart being awkward and twitchy when she won her Cesar:
Well, congrats to her. But God, she?s awkward. Anyway, fashion notes! Kristen?s gown was Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2015. It?s not great. I think Kristen does look better when she wears more body-con styles, and that skirt looks too stiff and BIG for her. I?ll give Kristen this though: her hair and makeup were on-point. Kristen?s date last night was Juliette Binoche (Binoche lost her Cesar!) and Binoche wore Balenciaga. The dress is cute enough, I just wish Binoche had done something different with her hair and worn different shoes.
Also in attendance: Marion Cotillard and her lover/partner Guillaume Canet. Marion wore Dior. Consider this to be a preview of what she?ll wear at the Oscars.
Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were also in attendance. Charlize also wore Dior (gown and blazer). Her gown is so much better than Marion?s.

Kristen Stewart covers the March issue of Interview Magazine. The interview was conducted by icon of not giving any f?ks, Patti Smith. It?s interesting to me that Patti Smith would agree to interview Kristen ?It?s like a poem, it?s about water? Stewart. But stranger things have happened, of course. Anyway, I only skimmed the Interview piece ? I find Interview Mag?s cover stories pretty tedious these days, too much mutual appreciate and ass-kissing for my taste, but you can read the full piece here.
On Twilight: ?Anybody who wants to talk sh-t about Twilight, I completely get it, but there?s something there that I?m endlessly, and to this day, f-cking proud of. My memory of it felt?still feels?really good. People are always comparing Twilight to things and trying to figure out why I?ve made certain decisions that I?ve made, and I always say every single moment that has led me to this moment has made me who I am. Every movie that I’ve done, they don’t stand independently from one another because a little bit of me is in every single one of those, and it’s part of my own personal growth.?
Becoming a child actor: “Well, I’m sitting back and enjoying the benefits of a decision that I made when I was a person who I can still relate to but am not anymore.?
On Jodie Foster: ?I was really lucky to work with her at such a young age because I’ve had some serious self-persecuting … People sometimes actually get me to think I take things too seriously and maybe I’m too earnest and it’s coming across like I’m better than them. But working with people like Jodie?we are quite kindred. There’s just something when people look at you and go, “Listen, I know it’s awkward, but just keep being honest.” I could have gotten really unlucky and compared myself to another kind of actress and felt inadequate. I can’t, like, put on the show. I’m not a performer. And it’s hard for people to accept a serious tone from a kid without thinking they’re sort of stuck up.
On wearing heels: ?I can do it for about three minutes.?
Her next project: ?I?m writing a poem for the wedding of one of my best friends.?

Here?s something interesting: Patti Smith is a Twihard!!! For real. She compliments K-Stew on the Twilight franchise, saying, ?I loved your work in those films. I thought the commitment of everyone in those films was true. Like The Hunger Games?if you accept the world that you’re entering, and if the people deliver that world, that’s what we’re looking for.? Ha, that?s a dangerous thing to compare the Twilight franchise to The Hunger Games, but whatever. Patti Smith is a Twihard. Patti Smith likes sparkly vampires and lip-biting heroines.
As for Kristen still feeling proud of her work in the franchise? so be it. I like her more for owning that part of her filmography. It?s not like it?s something she can walk away from, you know?

Kristen Stewart spent much of the past week in NYC doing promotional work for Still Alice, the Oscar-nominated film which features Kristen in a supporting role. Her promotional work has been surprisingly breezy and gaffe-free. I mean, she?s not the most eloquent of starlets, but there hasn?t been any major mistake or problem. She seemed relaxed and happy, a new thing for Kristen-doing-promotion. I?d like to think that she?s grown up a lot in the past few years. I?d also like to think that she?s probably happier in her current relationship than in any of her past relationships. So, here are some photos of Kristen back in LA yesterday, out and about with her girlfriend Alicia Cargile. I don?t really think we have to say ?alleged girlfriend? anymore. They?re dating. And it?s not scandalous in the least.
This week?s Star Magazine says that Kristen and Alicia are ?taking their romance to the next level? by looking for a place together in LA. I?m not sure I believe that though ? I thought Kristen only recently bought a loft in LA? And from the looks of the thrice-weekly paparazzi photos, I?d say that Alicia already spends the night with Kristen regularly. They probably already live together or are close to it, but Kristen?s not going to buy another place specifically so it can be ?theirs.? Star goes on to say that Kristen and Alicia?s joint style is ?funky and a little grungy,? because of course it is. What did you expect, chintz?
There was also a story going around yesterday that Kristen opened up an Instagram account, but Gossip Cop says that it?s not her account. Blah. I bet Kristen does have an IG and she just has all of the privacy settings locked.

Taking care of some media duties, Kristen Stewart paid a visit to ?Late Night with Seth Meyers? on Thursday evening (January 15).
The ?Snow White and the Huntsman? stunner was in the house to plug her new movie ?Still Alice,? though she ended up discussing her career plans, or lack thereof. Meyers asked Kristen about her future plans, to which she replied, ?After Still Alice? I don?t know. None of your business! I say that very fondly.?
She added, ?I don?t know what I?m doing. I very impulsively go to one thing to the next to the next to the next. So, Twilight blew up, and I still look at it as being something that made me who I am. And in no way am I distancing myself. I?m just trying to do cool stuff.?

Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart outside and inside of a screening for Still Alice in NYC last night. She was out and about in New York all day yesterday promoting the film with Julianne Moore and Kate Bosworth. Julianne is pretty much the frontrunner in the Best Actress race and ? just my opinion ? Julianne can and should be doing the bulk of the promotional work. But Julianne is a generous person and she probably enjoys having the younger girls around. Kristen?s dress last night (which you can see in greater detail below) was Roksanda?s Ellsworth dress. K-Stew and her see-through dresses? I?m over it. But I appreciate that she pulled together a real red carpet look. I wouldn?t mind seeing her at the Oscars this year? as a presenter.
Kristen and Julianne sat down for a HuffPo interview ? you can see the video here (it?s autoplay). Kristen was asked about her recent remarks about taking some time off from Hollywood to just live in her LA loft and work on her art projects. Kristen said that those stories were spun by the tabloids to make it sound like she was quitting Hollywood. Her thoughts on the tabs: ?There is like, you know, a whole other form of entertainment that is just voraciously consumed. It’s funny, you know, you do an interview and someone says, ‘Oh you’ve been working a lot? What are you planning on doing now?’ And you say, ‘Uh, I’m just going to take a second and like do something other than that,’ and then ‘Kristen Stewart Quits Hollywood!’ I basically have started a self-led middle school art class in my garage and it’s so cool. It feels so good!” She says people should take the tabloids with a ?whole big boulder of salt.? Huh. So then we shouldn?t believe the evidence we have that Kristen is with Alicia?

For the better part of 2014, there were rumors that Kristen Stewart and her BFF Alicia Cargile had made the transition from friendship to something more. I tended to believe the rumors, just because Alicia and K-Stew just seemed to be spending SO MUCH time together, and there was just a vibe of comfort and familiarity in their body language. Kristen and Alicia flew to Hawaii together after Christmas to bring in the New Year at the beach ? there were photos of them which were just released a few days ago. Go here to see. The body language is friendly, loving, affectionate. They very much look like girlfriends/lovers.
So, what?s the big deal? There isn?t one, really. If Kristen was consciously trying to ease Alicia into her public life gradually, so that even the confirmation of their dating was barely a tabloid blip, then Kristen pulled it off really well. It doesn?t seem to me like ?Kristen Stewart has a girlfriend now? is even some major tabloid story. Kristen?s fans and foes are mostly like ?Oh, she?s got a girlfriend? God bless.? So how close are they?
Kristen Stewart?s live-in gal pal Alicia Cargile are so close that they got matching tattoos, even as speculation grows that the two could be more than just best friends and roommates.
?They are inseparable and mimic each other?s everything,? a friend of the Twilight actress tells RadarOnline.com exclusively regarding their matching right-arm tattoos of arrows pointing in the same direction.
In photographs taken this past week while vacationing in Hawaii together, Stewart, 24, and Cargile are seen holding hands and acting extremely affectionate with each other.
?When Kristen and Alicia were in Hawaii for New Years, I am sure that they thought no one was going to see them,? the insider says. ?But they are not exactly nonchalant about their relationship anymore.?
After Stewart got caught cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson, 28, in 2012 with her married Snow White director Rupert Sanders, 43, the friend tells Radar that ?she just doesn?t care what people think anymore.?
?Kristen is happy and she is just being herself. She doesn?t need to worry about where her next role is going to come from nowadays because she has proven herself as an actress,? the source adds.

I would be curious to hear how Kristen self-identifies these days, whether she?s calling herself gay or bisexual or whether she simply doesn?t believe in labels. I think that?s probably the catch for a lot of Twihards: if Kristen is with a woman now, does that ?prove? that her relationship with Robert Pattinson was always a sham, always doomed, always some PR ploy? For what it?s worth, I don?t believe that. I think she loved Rob and he broke her heart. I think Rob loved her and she broke his heart. I think she was really and truly banging Rupert Sanders too. I think Kristen got majorly burned by the whole Rob-Rupert thing and she spent some time alone at first, and then she quietly got with Alicia. Eh. God bless!
