Remember how so many people had all of those predictions about Kristen Stewart right after the world learned that she Mini-Coopers married men? People claimed the scandal would help her. People claimed that she would be more in-demand than ever, that she would become the next Angelina Jolie ? meaning that Jolie?s career flourished even more after she ?stole? Brad Pitt away from America?s Sweetheart.
The Jolie-fication of Kristen Stewart is something I was following with some interest, but the side-by-side comparison between the two doesn?t always work out. For one, Kristen?s career has seemed to seriously falter post-scandal. Part of it may be that she?s actually not that great of an actress, and the ?demand? for her acting talents was limited to the Twilight franchise. The other part of it is? hard to explain. I?ve actually been wondering if Kristen hasn?t been black-listed by some prominent people as punishment for her affair and partially for her general unprofessional attitude and ?miserable c?tiness?. First, she dropped out of Cali, a film which would have had her playing the wanton woman. For a second it looked like she was going to work with Ben Affleck? until he pulled out really quickly, probably not wanting to associate with Kristen any longer. So Kristen has been unemployed for a while, and it even seemed like she was actively begging for work. Well, she finally got a gig!
Kristen Stewart and Elizabeth Banks are joining Jim Sturgess in Steven Shainberg?s The Big Shoe.
Sturgess plays a gifted shoe designer forced to break free from a family who want to turn his designs into mass-produced knock-offs. The family hires psychotherapist Mary Kay (Banks) and muse Delphi (Stewart) to lure him back to work.
Shainberg says the film will combine eroticism and humor in a similar way to dark comedy Secretary.

I love Elizabeth Banks so much. That?s the kind of role model Kristen Stewart desperately needs. The bad news is that this sounds like a weird/funky/bad movie in which Kristen will be playing ?the girl? ? a bland, eye-rolly, lip-biting, awkward hipster accompaniment to the infinitely more interesting male character. It feels like a step down for her career. But what do I know? Maybe it was the only thing she could get.

This shot of Kristen Stewart is fromW Magazine’s Best Performances photoshoot. It’s far from the glamorous shots you usually see celebrities in. In fact, it’s like they pulled a meth head off the street, put her in a fancy dress, propped her up on a couch and took pictures. What is this. My basement?
The only reason you know this is Kristen Stewart is because a meth addict would have been able to show way more emotion.

These are photos of Kristen Stewart arriving at LAX on Saturday, this past weekend. They got lost in the Golden Globes storm, but here you go ? I know how much you love new K-Stew pics! She arrived wearing her seemingly obligatory skinny jeans, a t-shirt and a backwards baseball cap that said ?Us Vs. Them?. Because she?s super-hardcore! And while Kristen didn?t come to the actual Globe ceremony (I was expecting her to, because of Jodie Foster, etc), Robert Pattinson did present an award, and he partied at the post-Globes parties? and Kristen joined him.
Has Kristen Stewart been too busy to call her mom, or is she avoiding her? Jules Stewart asked her followers on Twitter if anyone had seen her daughter. Well, we all know where Kristen was last night!
On Jan.10, Jules tweeted, ?Hey, anybody seen Kristen? Ask her to call her mom. Thanks.?
Kristen actually just flew back from NYC so she could celebrate at The Golden Globe Awards with Robert Pattinson on Jan.13.
At first, it seemed as though Kristen would NOT be attending the glitzy awards show because Rob walked the red carpet solo. But the actress did meet up with Rob later in the evening at a super exclusive after-party.
According to E! Online, Rob and Kristen reunited at their favorite place ? The Soho House ? in West Hollywood, where Golden Globes co-hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler had their A-list after-party.
In the early hours of Jan. 14, E! News reporter Marc Malkin tweeted, ?Just got word that Kristen Stewart just joined Robert Pattinson at a super private post-Golden Globes VIP party.?
?Kristen came later around 1 a.m. dressed in her signature casual style ? jeans, sweatshirt, backwards hat and tennis shoes,? E! Online reported.

That?s weird that she didn?t check in with her mom, but she went partying with Sparkles at the post-Globes party. And she didn?t dress up because of course not. Actually, I?m not really going to slam her for that ? if she didn?t go to actual ceremony, why bother with actually getting all glitzed up, especially if she was avoiding being photographed? It?s not like she?s J.Lo or something.

It seems Kristen Stewart may be attending the Golden Globes with Robert Pattinson after all. On Saturday, the "Twilight" star touched down at LAX airport in Los Angeles (January 12).
The 22-year-old actress was dressed casually in a white T-shirt showing her black bra, blue jeans, and a baseball cap as she carried a brown jacket.
Airing Sunday night at 8 ET on NBC, the Golden Globes showcase the Hollywood Foreign Association's favorites in movies and television for 2012.
This year's ceremony will be co-hosted by funny ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Check back with GossipCenter to see if Kristen appears as Robert's arm candy and for all the Globes gossip.

I wasn?t even paying attention to this when it happened, but over the holidays there was a sad, tragic moment of TWIHARD PROOF. It was the good kind of ?proof? in which Kristen Stewart was clothed in Robert Pattinson?s clothes, her hair and face greasy from their post-coital Twihard love. No, this Twihard Proof was the other kind ? the ?proof? that there are serious cracks in Robert Pattinson and Kristen?s relationship. Rob was spotted in London on Christmas Eve, drinking at a pub with some friends with NO K-Stew. Now, Kristen and Rob have been apart for Christmas before, and in past years, they get together for New Year?s, which they spend at The Isle of Wight. Hollywood Life says that Kristen did end up flying to England after Christmas, where they had a low-key NYE at the Isle of Wight like always. But what about Christmas? Well, the tabloids have some theories:
There was no kissing under the mistletoe this year for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Though the troubled couple had initially planned to spend Christmas with Rob?s family in London, they got into an explosive fight days before the holiday.
?At the last minute, Kristen announced that she wanted to take her mom to the UK? Rob was annoyed because this trip was supposed to be about her spending more time with HIS family,? who have been wary of Kristen ever since she cheated on Rob.
So Rob ?ended up going alone,? says the insider. He spent Christmas Eve in a pub with pals and one of his sisters, and before he even left for London, he blew off some steam with friends at Le Baron nightclub in NYC.
?He stayed there until the wee hours,? says a witness. ?Girls were all over him.?

OK! Magazine also claims that Kristen purposefully refused to join Rob in London for Christmas because his sisters are ?suspicious? of her, and his sisters were trying to ?talk Rob into ditching Kristen for good.? You know what though? I kind of think Kristen wanted to spend Christmas with her family, and this might have even been the first Christmas she had to do separate Christmas celebrations with her mom and dad, considering they?ve separated. As a fellow child of a broken home, dueling Christmases are rough the first few years. Sucks for her. Now, that being said? I do think 2013 is going to bring us the long-awaited Ultimate Robsten Breakup. And it?s going to be epic, y?all.

The interview is here and one of the things she talks about is being an actress.?It?s a pretty f?king odd thing to want to pretend to be another person,? she says, ?and then have a lot of other people who watch you do that. You have this experience of reading something, and if you don?t bring it to life, you?re basically deleting it. Every day of shooting you?re depriving the world of having that. Kristen Stewart covers the new issue (Spring) of V Magazine, likely to promote On the Road, right? Her Twilight promotion is over, and On the Road is the only thing she has out these days. The V Mag photo shoot is by Inez & Vinoodh, and it? sucks. I mean, it?s very ?Kristen,? but I don?t think that?s a good thing. I know Twihards are going to yell at me, so let me explain myself: I think Kristen is very photogenic, and she?s capable of working some very strong photo shoot styling. So I don?t understand this minimalist shoot in which Kristen?s hair looks super-greasy and she?s slouching and slumping her way into self-inflicted misery. Kristen goes out of her way to be nice during the interview: Upon walking into this interview a few minutes behind schedule, she proffers a hug and an offer to ?stay until you get everything you need.? There are no publicists, handlers, ringleaders, or beefcake bodyguards hanging around? ?I really love people? You can?t not as an actor. It?s just strange meeting someone and going, Okay, you start at square one and I will try and make up for what you already think you know about me.?
She feels stronger than ever: ?I have realized that you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it?s a difficult thing. You can?t see over, people can?t see in, and you also can?t see out. So I?ve gotten quite comfortable with just being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing: it?s not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them.?
On the Road: ?I would have done anything, I would have played any part,? says Stewart. ?Marylou is remarkable because she?s got a tough core. When you?re a teenager, a year can be crippling to maneuver through. You?re just out there questioning things, and so to be completely okay with that and not think that there?s anything wrong with you, that?s something I?ve recently understood. I?m 22. Marylou started this whole thing when she was 15.?

I?m a contemporary, sensitive, normal girl, and it?s difficult to try and empathize with someone who seems to have a lack of empathy. She seems a bit callous in the book. She?s literally the farthest?I have never encountered a person that had their nerves so f–king close to the surface.?
Broadway Twihards? ?Theater is a completely different way of working, but, yeah, I would be very much down.?
She?s up for ensemble work, especially with her girlfriends: ?There are so many cool girls out there!? she says, name-checking Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, and her best friend, Dakota Fanning.

Kristen Stewart showed up to theOn the Road premiere in New York wearing this thing. I’m not even sure how to describe it. The front looks like one of those shower curtains you buy for kids at Target. Does her stylist hate her or something? “No, no, trust me. It’ll look greeeeat.” Maybe she missed the hint of sarcasm?
