Gearing up for what's sure to be one of the most memorable episodes to date, Leighton Meester filmed scenes for "Gossip Girl" on the streets of New York City last night (November 14).
Looking like a runaway bride, photogs snapped the 25-year-old actress dressed in an exquisite flowing wedding dress as she hurriedly dashed through Big Apple traffic to make her escape.
The emotional scene eludes to the possibility that Blair Waldorf may not go through with her much-talked about royal wedding after all.
Setting up what "Gossip Girl" executive producer Josh Safran said will be a "big and lavish and twisty and juicy" 100th episode, the conflicted bride-to-be will have to choose between her prince Louis and the love of her life Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).

She?s always up for a good time, and last night (October 25) Leighton Meester attended the Uptown-Downtown Rendez-Vous in New York City.
Showing off that beautiful smile, the ?Gossip Girl? gal dazzled in front of the cameras as she posed for pictures at the Roger Vivier boutique.
The event was in celebration of the fashion house?s limited Fall/Winter collection and held in benefit of the Music United Youth Choir.
On Monday, Meester was busy filming scenes for her hit CW show in an eye-catching blue and turquoise outfit.

Taking a break from her "Gossip Girl" filming duties to promote her new movie, Leighton Meester turned up at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday night (September 10).
The 25-year-old actress took to the north of the border locale as she attended the red carpet premiere of her romantic dramedy "The Oranges" alongside co-stars Allison Janney, Hugh Laurie, Alia Shawkat and Oliver Platt.
Directed by Julian Farino, the film tells the tale of "a guy falling for the daughter of a family friend, which makes life just a bit awkward for himself and the family."
Quite the busy lady these days, the trip to TIFF comes just after Miss Meester performed with her band Cobra Starship as part of Thursday's "Fashion Night Out" in NYC.
Talking about her musical efforts with E!, Leighton dished, ?I?m inspired by my friends, my family, love, loss of love, fashion, art, traveling, sex, food?everything!"
?If it were up to me, I?d release it today,? she added. ?I do want to continue to perform and let people hear it. I do wanna play other places but until my show is done for the season, I can?t.?

Braving the wet summertime conditions, Leighton Meester diligently worked away on the set of "Gossip Girl" in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 6).
The Blair Waldorf babe toted a rainbow umbrella as she was mobbed by fans while walking along Park Avenue in between scenes - with the material being compiled for the show's new season ahead of its premiere on September 26th.
Aside from her work duties, Leighton's legal team has filed a petition with the Los Angeles Superior Court hoping to get her mother Constance Meester's $3 million breach of contract slawsuit tossed out due to its frivolous nature.
With Constance claiming she and her daughter had an oral agreement in which she was to receive $10,000 per month for life, Leighton's camp tells, "None of these agreements are valid or enforceable as a matter of law."
The matter is set to go in front of a judge during a hearing slated to take place on October 5th.

Making her way to work, Leighton Meester was spotted arriving on the set of ?Gossip Girl? yesterday (August 30).
The CW cutie smiled from ear to ear as she strolled out of her trailer in a retro-style dress teamed with a pair of comfy-looking UGG boots.
When asked about her preference of cosmetics, Leighton told press she?s a big fan of the ?less is more? approach.
She explained, ?My makeup bag is so minimal it?s embarrassing. I like L?Oreal mascara, I like eyelash curlers, and I like a little bit of tinted moisturizer.?
"One of the best makeup tips I've ever gotten is to take off all your makeup because I'm generally really bad at that. That's really saved my skin. But besides that I think just really being hydrated and being healthy. I think whatever's on the inside shows on the outside, so it's not as much about makeup as it is your health."

Teaming up for a full day of filming, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were side-by-side on the set of "Gossip Girl" in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (August 10).
The CW hotties were both in jovial moods as they laughed with one another while also joined by fellow castmate Ed Westwick for the Big Apple shoot.
The day's work comes as Blake, Leighton and Ed are busily compiling material for the show's much-awaited fifth season - which premieres on September 26th at 8/7c.
Finding much success, the teen drama cleaned up at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards this past weekend - garnering wins in categories including Choice TV Show, Choice TV Actor Drama, and an award for Miss Lively as Choice TV Actress Drama.

Setting out for a photo shoot in New York City, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick were spotted on the Upper West Side on Tuesday afternoon (August 9).
Decked out in their characters? wardrobe, the ?Gossip Girl? co-stars happened to be shooting promotional pics for their hit CW show's upcoming fifth season - which premieres Monday, September 26th at 8/7c.
And though Miss Meester?s Blair Waldorf character is always super trendy, Leighton recently said that she doesn?t care too much about fashion.
The 25-year-old actress told press, "I think it?s fine if you?re expecting to be judged. I completely close my eyes to all of that - I just wear whatever I like."

Getting down to business on a new episode of ?Gossip Girl,? Leighton Meester and Elizabeth Hurley were spotted on the New York City set today (July 28).
Both ladies looked cute and casual as they chatted with each other and members of the crew in between takes.
In legal news, Leighton is currently suing her mother for custody of her brother Alexander Meester, who has chronic health problems.
It seems Miss Meester had been sending $7,500 per month home to help with medical costs, and her mom took the money and used it for plastic surgery, hair extensions, and other unnecessary purchases.
Meanwhile, Mama Meester is also suing Leighton, claiming that she hit her with a bottle back in December of 2010.

“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester is suing her ex-convict mother for using the money Leighton sent to cover her brother’s medical bills for her own plastic surgery. TMZ says:
According to the suit, Leighton’s mom refused to work, but Leighton felt badly for her younger brother Lex, who has severe medical issues. So Leighton sent her mom $7,500 a month so she could provide for Lex.
But the suit claims the mother, Constance Meester, used the money for cosmetic procedures and other personal expenses.
According to the suit, Constance even tried to convince Leighton they had an oral contract requiring Leighton to pay her $10,000 a month for life. Leighton says it’s a total lie.
Leighton wants the judge to declare there’s no contract between her and her mom.
Constance has since filed a $3 million dollar lawsuit against Leighton for violating that imaginary oral contact that entitled her to ten grand a month. And also for being assaulting with a water bottle. It’s like a high-stakes version of Jerry Springer in here. The NY Daily News says:
Constance Meester has filed a $3 million suit complaining her famous daughter reneged on an oral agreement to pay her $10,000 a month, canceled her health insurance and assaulted her during a 2 a.m. confrontation Dec. 11.
“[Leighton] pushed her mother to the floor and just started hitting her over the head with a water bottle,” Constance Meester’s lawyer [said].
[He also] denied allegations the mom spent the star’s $7,500 monthly checks on cosmetic procedures.
“That’s absurd,” he said. “She did have some cosmetic surgery, but not with the money from her daughter. She has some money saved up from when she managed her daughter.”
Did you catch that? She paid for her plastic surgery “not with money from her daughter, but with money saved up from when she managed her daughter.” Ah. I see. Maybe English isn’t her first language and nobody explained that no matter how many extra words you stuff between the preposition and the object of the preposition, it still means you paid for your new tits and fake hair with money you stole from your kid. Casey Anthony would make a better mother than this bitch does.
