Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund, both starring in critical and commercial flop Country Strong, are probably boning. So say eyewitnesses who saw Leighton and Garrett all up on each other during the Globes after-parties. Damn, I really wanted her with Anthony Mackie. Garrett just seems so? I don?t know. He doesn?t know Hollywood yet. He seems like a sweet kid, but he?s bugging me for some reason.
Country cuties! Country Strong costars Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund may be making their onscreen romance a reality.
Whooping it up after the Golden Globes at HBO’s party held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel’s Circa 55 eatery, Meester, 24, and Hedlund, 26, were “inseparable the entire night,” a partygoer tells UsMagazine.com exclusively.
As the duo chatted, “Garret wrapped his arm around her,” the observer says. “She wraps her arm completely around his neck and pulls him for a quick peck on the lips.”
When the pair called it a night, Hedlund was “massaging her shoulders” as they exited together.
Meester split with Gossip Girl costar Sebastian Stan last year and told Allure she wasn’t a fan of playing the field.
“I don’t see the point in dating,” the star said. “I hate it. It’s wonderful to be in love. And it’s definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it’s OK if you don?t find him and you’re 24. You can find it someday.”

Since there really isn?t anything scandalous about this, what is there to say? Two pretty, young, single actors are dating. Maybe that?s what?s bothering me - there?s a ?meh? factor to this coupling.
I will say this though - if they?re boning, I bet it?s really, really hot. Okay, now I?m not feeling so ?meh? about them.

Making for what looks to be a potential budding offscreen romance, Leighton Meester was side-by-side and lovey-dovey with Garrett Hedlund on Golden Globes night (January 16).
The "Country Strong" co-stars took to HBO's post-show fete at the Beverly Hilton Hotel's Circa 55 where they got chummy throughout the duration of the affair.
A source on-hand told Us magazine that Miss Meester and Mr Hedlund were "inseparable the entire night."
The onlooker continued to dish that "Garret wrapped his arm around her... She wrapped her arm completely around his neck and pulled him for a quick peck on the lips."

In relationship news, Leighton recently confessed that she?s not really a fan of being single, and loves being in love.
?I love love and I want it in my life. When it comes, I welcome it and when it isn?t there, it kind of sucks. But if it?s just that you have your careers in common it won?t work. People say to me, ?Well, if you have trouble, don?t date actors.? Well, who the hell else am I gonna date when I work 24 hours a day??

She?s been busy promoting her new film ?Country Strong,? and Leighton Meester paid a visit to ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? earlier this week.
The ?Gossip Girl? hottie looked absolutely fabulous as she walked out on stage in a leggy grey sleeveless dress with matching heels.
During the course of her interview, Leighton divulged that she grew up in Marco Island, Florida- far from the bright lights of Tinseltown.
Miss Meester also explained that she got started acting at a young age. ?I started acting in musicals and plays in my hometown when I was 10, moved to New York when I was 11 and moved here (Los Angeles) when I was 14.?

Prettying up the atmosphere, Leighton Meester was looking fabulous in Vionnet on Wednesday night (January 5) at the 2011 People?s Choice Awards.
The ?Gossip Girl? gal joined up with her "The Roommate" co-star Minka Kelly as the gals made their way down the red carpet before heading inside the Nokia Theatre for the exciting show.
During the course of the festivities, Leighton and Minka took the stage alongside one another to introduce performer Kid rock to the audience.

Much to the delight of the gathered crowd, Leighton Meester teamed up with Portraits of Hope and Herbal Essences for a midday event in Santa Monica on Tuesday (January 4).
The "Gossip Girl" actress strapped on her skates as she helped to transform the ICE outdoor skating rink into a paradise of painted flowers.
Meanwhile, Miss Meester is in the midst of final promotions as her new movie "Country Strong" hits theaters on Friday, January 7th.
Of shooting the film, which co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw, Leighton recently told Seventeen magazine, "It was very inspiring being around all these people who make really good music and write amazing songs that tell stories."
She added, "There's a lot of really talented people in Nashville and the music they make has been around forever. They are real musicians, it's not just a computer."

Stepping out of her comfort zone, Leighton Meester stars as Chiles Stanton, an up-and-coming country singer in ?Country Strong.? And she said the performance-heavy role was a bit nerve-wracking.
The ?Gossip Girl? actress explained, "It's terrifying and it's just, it's an incredible adrenaline rush. It's not bad, by any means, it's just terrifying."
She continued, ?I've never done what Chiles does [in the film]: get up onstage and not a single note comes out. That hasn't happened. For her, that was another aspect that was incredibly fulfilling. She changes. She starts off a certain way and she ends up completely the other way. She grows up."
As for her new album, Leighton seemed sketchy about a release date. "I don't know. I recorded three songs recently. I have, like, 20 more to do. So I don't know when that's going to happen. I just really want it to be perfect. I'm not in any rush. It's all in my heart, and I'm really happy how it's going. I've been very inspired, even with this movie, how I write."

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester talks sex, drugs and rock and roll in the January issue of Allure magazine. Us Weekly says:
“We had craaaazy parties — bands, an ice luge, a fire twirler,” the actress, 24, [says] of sharing a North Hollywood pad with a group of pals in her late teens.
“We would go out all the time,” she tells the mag. “I definitely got to have some experiences.”
One thing the singer isn’t a big fan [of: dating.]
“I don’t see the point in dating,” Meester tells Allure. “I hate it. [But] it?s definitely wonderful to… have sex.”
Long story short: she likes to booze it up and sleep around. So basically, her life reads just like my eHarmony profile. See, I have way more in common with celebrities than you think!
