Here are photos from the red carpet of the New Moon premiere in Los Angeles, held last night. Before I get into the stars of the film, I have to admit there are some wacky people on this red carpet. Jeffrey Dean Morgan?!? Why are you at the premiere of a tween film? 50 cent? There goes you street cred, dude.
Now, onto the stars and the fashion. Taylor Lautner wore a navy suit and looked about 12 years old - am I the only one who loses her jailbait crush when he?s fully dressed? Sparkles was in blue too, and he actually looked like he bathed and tried to tamp down his rat?s nest hair. The effect is startlingly good - Sparkles looks like a dreamboat! Meanwhile, Kristen was decked out in a gorgeous, romantic strapless ball gown. Her hair looks a bit grown out, her makeup looks flawless, and my only minor complaint is that she?s still slumping her shoulders. Stand up straight, kids! Here?s more about the event:
Guest list: Stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, along with castmates Dakota Fanning, Michael Welch, Justin Chon, Michael Sheen, Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone. Celebrity fans of the film franchise ?Glee’s Lea Michele, Ghost Whisperer’s Jennifer Love Hewitt with Jamie Kennedy, rapper 50 cent, singer and dancer Julianne Hough and rocker Richie Sambora (with daughter Ava) ? also were there.
Background: In the highly anticipated sequel, which opens Friday, Stewart’s character, Bella, is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Pattinson), but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with Jacob Black (Lautner). Hers is a world where werewolves and vampires intersect.
Fan appreciation: An estimated 3,000 screaming fans were present. Some traveled from as far away as Canada, Minnesota and Florida to catch a glimpse of the New Moon stars. “I don’t think most people will get to experience something quite like this,” said Pattinson, who was flanked by bodyguards. Stewart also had heavy security on the carpet. “This is what you work for,” she said, looking at the crowd. “The only reason we make movies is because we care about people.” Said Facinelli: “We’re just blessed to have a really strong fan base. I’m a fan of the books, so I know where it comes from.” Fanning knew what to expect: “I’ve never been a part of something this big before. I heard what it was like last time, so I was prepared.”
Best fan signs: “Team whatever I can get,” “Team Ed-cob. Why not have both?” “Team Jacob, cuz real men don’t sparkle,” “Jasper: I’d cut myself in front of you any day.” And yes, there were even naughtier signs.
Sound man: “I learned my lesson from the first premiere,” said Lutz, who then admitted, “I have earplugs, but I left them at home. They were bright orange.” As for his character, “Emmett is so happy-go-lucky. But when stuff hits the fan, he steps in and takes care of business.”
Surreal moment: “I just feel really grateful,” Reed said. “I totally feel like I don’t deserve this much attention. I want to tell them that I shouldn’t even be in this film.”
Star prep time: “This morning, I went to In-N-Out for breakfast,” Pattinson said, adding, “Pretty exciting!” Reed took a two-hour hike in the morning to work on her nerves. “I’m constantly nervous! I’m always nervous!”

Unlike the other New Moon events in Europe last week, it looks like Taylor, Kristen and Sparkles didn?t do a lot of posing together on the red carpet. So, no longing, sexy looks between Sparkles and Kristen, unfortunately. I guess we?ll have to comfort ourselves in the knowledge that Sparkles took a shower. Thank God.

Ready for a weekend getaway, Jennifer Love Hewitt and her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy were spotted catching a flight at the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank on Friday (November 6).
The co-star couple wasn’t shy when it came to PDA, sharing a kiss and hugging as they made their way past the ticket counter before boarding their outbound American Airlines flight.
Meanwhile, “Ghost Whisperer” fans have lots to look forward to in tonight’s episode - as Miss Love Hewitt’s Melinda character “has a paranormal encounter with a stripper, who takes possession of her body to give her a message from the other side.”
According to ET Online, the episode, which airs at 8PM on CBS, also sees “Melinda’s husband Jim (David Conrad), surprised by one of his colleague’s nonchalance to a paranormal encounter, suspects that the man is involved in a med student’s sudden disappearance.”

She’s an avid music fan (as well as a singer), and Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted checking out the premiere of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” flick last night (October 27).
Joined by her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, the “Ghost Whisperer” actress looked to be in good spirits as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Nokia Theatre LA Live.
As for the steady stream of breakup rumors swirling around the proverbial campfire, J. Love says it’s getting to be ‘hurtful.’
She explained, “I’m not going to lie. It’s not annoying, it’s hurtful. It’s really hurtful that people say that. Because he is like the most awesome person. I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well. We are just trying to be really happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there.”

Showing that they’re still very much together, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy were side-by-side at The Children’s Institute’s “Poker For A Cause” celebrity poker tournament on Saturday night (October 17).
Held at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California, Jennifer and Jamie loving posed arm-in-arm at the charitable fete - taking their seats at the poker table and dropping some cash for a good cause.
As for the recent breakup rumors, Love Hewitt told People magazine,"I’m not going to lie – it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful.”
The 30-year-old “Ghost Whisperer” star adds, “It’s really hurtful that people say that. Because he is like the most awesome person. I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well.”

It looks like yesterday?s report about Jamie Kennedy was false, according to Jamie himself. Fox News 411 ran with the continuing rumors that Jamie is cheating on girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt with his ex-girlfriend Shannon Funk. Jamie?s rep denied the initial rumors when Perez Hilton started them, but Fox News 411 had additional sources who claimed that Jennifer Jamie were pretty much done, and that he was about ten seconds away from dumping her pear ass. People obviously carried the new denial, which isn?t really that resounding. When People asked Jamie if he and Jennifer were happy, he replied ?Yes.? Thundering silence. Crickets.
Is Jamie Kennedy about to pull the plug on his relationship with Jennifer Love Hewitt ? and reconcile with his former flame, Shannon Funk?
While a new report suggests that Kennedy, 39 ? who began dating Hewitt, 30, last winter ? is no longer smitten with his Ghost Whisperer costar and is instead still hung up on Funk (a former assistant of Britney Spears), a rep for Kennedy told PEOPLE on Thursday: “There’s no truth to this report.”
And at the Oct. 3 Tao/Lavo Anniversary party in Las Vegas, Kennedy told PEOPLE, “People just keep going on [with the rumor-mongering]. We know what we are.”
So, is the couple happy? “Yes,” replied Kennedy.
In the past week alone, the couple ? who denied engagement rumors in July ? have been spotted together on several occasions.
On Tuesday, they had a romantic dinner in Los Angeles. A few days earlier, on Saturday, Kennedy performed at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, Calif., and brought Hewitt up on stage. A Laugh Factory rep tells PEOPLE that Kennedy announced that “his eyes had stopped roaming and that he had no plans of ruining a good thing.”

Whatever. I bet they are still together, but I also think Jamie is totally over Jennifer?s bullsh-t. Now, I know I?ve been saying that she seems to have traded down with Jamie, but that doesn?t mean that Jennifer?s not one massive, annoying handfull. This report from Star Magazine (which, yes, could be crap, but it totally sounds like Hewitt) makes it seem like Jamie has to put up with a lot of small, dumb little things from her:

Christ, I would shoot myself in the head if I had to go out with someone like that. It would be annoying if I was friends with someone like that. ?Oh, it might be salty! Taste this!? Taste it yourself, moron. Or don?t order something you think might be salty or spicy if you can?t handle it. It?s not cute. By the way, it seems like all of these stories are revolving around Jamie and Jennifer?s appearance at Tao. Where People seems to be the only source running a story about how they?re fine, everyone else is running stories about how they?re annoying each other. I really don?t think this relationship has too much life in it.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has been out of the limelight lately, but that does not mean she’s been sitting around on her ass. Jennifer has actually been taking a pole dancing class in Encino. I’m not sure if she’s preparing for a new role, just trying to keep in shape, or preparinga little something special for someone special. Either way, I’d like to be a fly on that wall just to see how she handles a pole. Not surprisingly,JenniferLove Hewitt (and the rest of Hollywood) is wearing some tight black pants, andwe even get agreat ass shot in one of the photos! I think there really is something to that pole dancing after all.
