Jennifer Love Hewitt waited a hot minute before dating another co-star in the wake of her breakup with Jamie Kennedy. According to both Life & Style and The National Enquirer, Hewitt, 31, is dating an actor named John Asher, 39, who divorced Jenny McCarthy in 2005. (Jenny and John have son Evan, 7, together.) Hewitt hooked up with Asher the same way she met her last two boyfriends - on the set of her hit TV show, Ghost Whisperer. Enquirer and L&S have Hewitt and Asher spotted at different events looking coupled up, so it sounds like this is happening.
Less than a month after her romance with Jamie Kennedy ended, Jennifer Love Hewitt appears to have found a new Mr. Right ? and he?s a friend of Jamie?s! Jennifer was spotted at a small March 27 dinner party with actor and director John Asher, Jenny McCarthy?s ex-husband (and father of Jenny?s 7-year-old son, Evan). ?Jennifer was all over him,? an eyewitness tells Life & Style. ?They were holding hands and canoodling. Would it kill Jennifer Love Hewitt to wait a while before she jumps into another long term relationship? She’s admitted on her book tour that she doesn’t date much and just has boyfriends. It’s like she’s so focused on that damn engagement ring she visits every month that she can’t relax and enjoy life. I like her, though, and hope she’s happy. She’s practically holding her breath until she gets married and maybe it will finally happen for her. It’s not the best sign that the guys a divorcee who already has a kid, but it could work out.
That said, Asher might not be the best catch. He kisses and tells and once told a radio station about threesomes he had with McCartney and other women. He also called her a “freak in the sack.” Apparently their relationship ended due to the stress over their son Evan’s autism. Maybe the guy has matured since he spilled the beans on his ex wife last year. It’s not the best sign, though, when a guy brags to the press about his ex being a sex freak. Given Hewitt’s penchant for oversharing, she may have met her match.

Well she sure doesn?t stay single for long and, according to reports, Jennifer Love Hewitt has already landed herself a new man.
The brunette actress ? who recently split from Jamie Kennedy ? is supposedly dating actor/director John Asher.
The two met when Asher taped a guest appearance for an episode of ?Ghost Whisperer? earlier this year.
Of the blossoming romance, a source told People magazine, "They've been spending a lot of time together and are having fun. He showers her with attention and is helping her move on from her breakup with Jamie [Kennedy]."

Jennifer Love Hewitt is still doing promotional duties for her new dating book, How I Shot Cupid. It’s a self help book from a woman who could use some solid advice in the relationship department and includes such gems as always requiring your man to keep track of your coat and making sure you take just one role in the relationship so you don’t confuse him. Yesterday Hewitt, 31, was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and she dropped the news that she’s been cheated on at least three times. She said that once she caught her then-boyfriend - who she didn’t name - with the other woman, who just happened to be a friend of hers:
The star — who recently split from Ghost Whisperer costar Jamie Kennedy — says she has been cheated on “a lot” in her life.
“It’s brutal,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show Tuesday. “Once I found out on television and that was awesome. And then another time I found them together … and that was, woooo!”
She says she walked in on the unnamed duo together and knew the girl.
“That was not good,” she says, adding that she also found out another beau was cheating because she “had a feeling” and then “found phone stuff.”
Luckily, The Day I Shot Cupid author, 31, said her latest boyfriend, Kennedy, taught her the most about relationships. (She even dedicated the book to him prior to their split.)
“We are sort of opposites — I am sort of this gushy hopeless romantic and he is sort of this realist,” she says. “So, he really taught me how to look at the reality of things like love whereas I had my head in the clouds before. He very much taught me some things and he taught me a lot about men and what they think.”
Hewitt jokes that she “won’t” seek out famous men like past flames — which included Joey Lawrence, Carson Daly and John Mayer — but admits that she doesn’t date them “on purpose.”
“I don’t seek them out,” she says. “I am starting to think maybe that’s not the way to go.”

The one thing I’ve learned about Jennifer Love Hewitt throughout this press tour is that she’s way too focused on how she needs to change in order to keep a man. It’s like she’s so dead set on getting married and having a lasting relationship that she’s not thinking about what she wants and needs in both a marriage and in her own life. She’ll eventually get married and have kids, but I’m afraid she’ll really try the patience of whomever she ends up with by constantly talking about the relationship and bugging the guy about a commitment. She’s one of those “what are you thinking?” girls whose beauty and success can’t make up for the fact that they’re both insecure and demanding.
So I wonder who cheated on Hewitt? There were rumors that both Ross McCall and Jamie Kennedy cheated on her, claims they both denied at the time. You have to give her credit for not naming names, though. I probably would. Isn’t it kind of sad that Hewitt got cheated on frequently and still spouts crap like “women have to better figure out who to be in a relationship, sort of stick with that consistently and maybe the guy will figure out better how to deal with them“? Sometimes it just isn’t us.

She's been referred to as a serial dater in the past, and it sounds like Jennifer Love Hewitt is falling for the wrong type of guys.
The "Ghost Whisperer" actress who recently split from Jamie Kennedy, admits to being cheated on ?a lot? in her life. "It's brutal," she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Tuesday (April 6). "Once I found out on television and that was awesome. And then another time I found them together ... and that was, woooo!"
Hewitt admitted to walking in on the couple and ended up knowing the girl. Also talking about being single again, Miss Love Hewitt says, "It's what life handed me, and I'm OK with it. I know wholeheartedly that I'm a really good partner. I think I'm a really good girlfriend, and I think that I could be a really good wife. I know that I love being able to give my love out to someone. I know there is somebody great out there for me."

Making for quite the interesting situation, Jen broke up with ex-beau Jamie Kennedy just prior to the dating and relationship advice book's release.
Talking about being single, Miss Love Hewitt told, "I don't like to go out to clubs and party. I'm not into 'Let's go out with one guy on a Monday and another guy on a Wednesday' -- that's just not me. I'm a relationship kind of girl. I like a twosome. Some people get excited about being single. I don't."
She added that the split was "a mutual decision, and we've parted as friends. There's no anger, there's no upset, there's no enemies."

As for breakup advice, Jennifer says to take 72 hours to wallow in sadness and then let the healing begin. "Put your big girl pants on and move on. Seventy-two hours is an appropriate time. After that you start to smell and your friends don't want to talk to you. ... It doesn't mean it fixes your feelings or takes away the sadness. You should just start to go, 'I'm OK.'"
