So I’m kind of bored sitting around wondering what else to report on today and am watching some taped episodes of The View. (I’ve already watched all the good shows, don’t judge me! It’s for work.) Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on vacation yesterday and Jennifer Love Hewitt was the guest host. It was a particularly tolerable episode and one that didn’t require fast forwarding while Hasselbeck got indignant over something or other. Anyway the ladies were talking about cheating men in light of the Jesse James interview. Sheri said that she checked her now ex-husband’s Blackberry and e-mail once she found out he was fooling around and found plenty of evidence. Hewitt chimed in and said “I was cheated on, and I did check. And I’m really happy I did and I’d do it again.”
She laughed and explained “I knew in my gut that something was going on… you have to trust [that instinct]… I checked and I found that out of the almost two year relationship I was in for a year and a half he’d been having relationships with not just one woman but a few. And it was really heartbreaking to me, but it saved me staying another year in that relationship.”
When Joy asked Jennifer what signs she saw that lead her to check up on the guy, she said “I just knew his behavior was different. He was caring more about his appearance… which is a big sign. They start to work out more and they’re like ‘no I just want to get in shape.’ ‘For who? Because you haven’t been in shape our whole relationship.’”
This isn’t the first time Hewitt revealed that she was cheated on. In April she told Ryan Seacrest on his show that she was cheated on “a lot” and that “Once I found out on television and that was awesome. And then another time I found them together.” She then said she had a feeling about a different boyfriend, probably the guy she talked about on The View, and found “phone stuff” to confirm it.
Who is this guy that cheated? I’m guessing it’s her boyfriend before Jamie Kennedy, Irish actor Ross McCall. She was with McCall for just about two years and they broke up in January, 2009. There were rumors at the time that McCall was cheating on her. Good for her for trusting her feelings and checking up on him. I love how she gives us enough clues to figure out who she’s talking about without naming names. It must have been a relief to figure out what was going on and to get out of the relationship. I wonder if she celebrated by having her mons bedazzled with something empowering like “Never Again” with little curlicues around it.

Toting her pillow in her arms, the "Ghost Whisperer" actress headed down an escalator and out to an awaiting car while nearly tripping over her untied shoelaces.

In career news, J. Love?s hit ABC show ?Ghost Whisperer? has been picked up for another season by the network.
Though it?s still up in the air what will be done with the show, ABC has acquired the rights and will be formulating a plan of action.

Showing off a sexy new hairstyle, Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted walking to grab some lunch in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (May 21).
The former ?Ghost Whisperer? actress looked ready for business as she headed into popular eatery, Katsuya restaurant.
In recent news, it was announced earlier in the week that Hewitt?s ?Ghost Whisperer? show has been cancelled by CBS.
Talking about what could be the last episode ever (unless ABC picks up the long-running show) Ms Hewitt told press, "The dark side gets extremely powerful very quickly and he's sort of her only heroic key. So my son gets to kind of be a superhero for the episode, which is very cool."
The season finale airs tonight (May 21) at 8pm on CBS.

In other news, it was recently announced that Miss Hewitt?s show, ?Ghost Whisperer,? has been canceled by CBS television.
The show, in which Jennifer played the main character who could receive messages from the dead, ran for five years and word has it, could possibly be picked up by ABC.
