Jennifer Aniston made her first post-wedding public appearance last night at the LA premiere of She?s Funny That Way, the Peter Bogdanovich comedy which Aniston filmed two summers ago. SFTW was supposed to come out last year, but they held it until now. It?s being released tomorrow. Aniston isn?t the lead or anything ? it?s an ensemble comedy and Aniston plays a therapist. At the premiere, Aniston was said to be ?giddy.? She also told E! News that it ?feels quite natural? to be married and that Justin is already back in Texas filming The Leftovers.
As for her look here? I thought it was a cheap-looking black gown, but it?s actually a wide-legged jumpsuit by Roland Mouret. I like Mouret?s work ordinarily, and I would love to see Aniston wear more Mouret, but I?m not crazy about this on her. It just seems so boring and she doesn?t look happy in it at all. But I?m old fashioned ? I think newly married women should wear a lot of white! Enjoy and extend your bridal moment. This jumpsuit would have been snazzy in a white or cream, I think.
Some photographers got good shots of Jennifer?s new wedding band. It?s funny because she didn?t wear her ugly quartz engagement ring, but her wedding band is not that great either. One of the things I?ve always liked about Jennifer is her taste in simple, easy-to-wear jewelry. She likes small, delicate pieces in real life and on red carpets. So why is her wedding band so bulky?

When Jennifer Aniston married Justin Theroux last week, I made a ?joke? that the wedding was likely sponsored by SmartWater, Aveeno and Living Proof, because sister?s always getting paid somehow. While Aniston?s career hasn?t been going gangbusters for a few years, she still makes a lot of money every year from her very lucrative endorsement/advertising deals ? my guess is that SmartWater and Aveeno are the most lucrative and Living Proof (which she invested in and of which she is the sole celebrity face) probably isn?t making that much money for her at this point. But Aniston is still looking to ink new deals, and it looks like her ritzy wedding probably did have a sponsor, because this little item appeared in Page Six this weekend:
Jennifer Aniston scored a very lucrative gift to herself ahead of her secret wedding to Justin Theroux. The actress has just landed a deal with airline Emirates worth around $5 million, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
We?re told that Aniston, 46, has shot a campaign for Emirates, which is based in Dubai and is the world?s biggest international carrier.
The move to sign the former ?Friends? star comes on the heels of Nicole Kidman?s ad campaign for Etihad Airways, the second-largest UAE airline after Emirates.
A source told us: ?Jennifer Aniston has shot a high-profile campaign for Emirates as part of this deal, for which she is being paid around $5 million. She will appear across TV and print ads worldwide.? Reps for the airline and Aniston declined to comment.

This makes me wonder if Emirates perhaps gifted Aniston with the private jet she used to fly herself, her new husband and some friends to Bora Bora for their group honeymoon. I?m not even joking ? I feel like there?s a reason why this piece of news came out only a few days after her wedding. There?s some kind of sponsorship deal, like all those times Jennifer and her other boyfriends got pap?d with SmartWater.
Speaking of the ?group honeymoon? ? for sure, Aniston and Theroux brought friends to their honeymoon, but Chelsea Handler wasn?t one of those friends. Thank God. That sounds so much better, right? It would be FUN to hang out with Jason Bateman during your honeymoon, but Chelsea Handler? Nope.
Final thing ? Justin?s The Leftovers costar Liv Tyler posted this Instagram on Saturday. Presumably, Liv had her baby Sailor Gene on the Texas set and I guess Justin?s reaction to seeing Liv?s baby was to kiss the baby?s hand. Which is very sweet. Remember those rumors last year? I still don?t think this is anything other than ?Justin and Liv have a friendly relationship.? The other woman in these photo is Margaret Qualley, who plays Justin?s daughter in the TV show. Qualley is also the daughter of Andie McDowell.

I?m sorry, but this ad ^^ made me laugh out loud. Dear Jennifer Aniston: why so budget? You are a very wealthy woman and if you want to release a fancy new perfume, please invest in quality photographers AND quality postproduction people so you won?t look like a Photoshopped Kardashian-cat hybrid.
Yes, Aniston is releasing a new perfume. Her first perfume was supposed to be called Lolavie but there was some trademark issue and it became ?Jennifer Aniston the Perfume? or something. Those ads were terrible too ? there was one ad that looked like Aniston had been dumped on a beach after her ex had stolen her clothes. That first attempt at a perfume launch was back in 2010-11 and it was a disaster. As I said at the time, Aniston should have just gone to a major perfume house and developed a scent WITH the house, but she tried to reinvent the wheel when it came to celebrity perfumes. Then last year, Aniston finally figured it out. She began working with Elizabeth Arden and she released J by Jennifer Aniston. Did it sell? I have no idea. But she?s now releasing a new scent, Near Dusk.
Near Dusk is described as ?a heady mix of jasmine, peony, musk and white amber with bright top notes that feature nectarine, sweet Pink pepper and coconut water.? Aniston spoke to E! News about it:

Growing up in NYC surrounded by buildings and cement, when I would visit family at the ocean it felt like paradise to me. I always feel peaceful and inspired when I’m there.
Did you have a go-to scent as a teenager?

Can you give us a little insight into the testing process for your fragrances? Do you have your friends, family and fianc weigh in on a scent? Do you wear a tester perfume for weeks or longer?
When creating my fragrances, I start by smelling almost every note I can get my hands on in the lab, from different flowers to leather belts. Once I’ve created something I like, I give it a test run for a few months. I find it really interesting, seeing how different notes are expressed as the day goes on. I always ask my friends and family feedback.
You once told us that Justin hijacks your beauty products. How about your perfume?
He definitely doesn’t hijack my perfume!
You said you wanted to recreate relaxation with the scent. What are your favorite things to do to relax? When are you most relaxed?
Sunset is my go-to. I’m always my most relaxed at home at the end of a day.
Fragrance is about dusk, so what are some of your before bedtime rituals?
It’s all about pampering. Wash my face?maybe a mask?and then moisturizing. I get very girly at night.
What’s one beauty product or item people would be surprised to find on your vanity?
A tiny pair of bronze feet.

I wonder if this is the extent of Aniston?s promotional work? I hope not, but it could be ? I really don?t think she did much promotion at all for her second fragrance and E! News says this perfume is just going to be sold at Kohl?s. Personally, I think there are too many celebrity fragrances, but if a celebrity does get a ?hit,? they can really rake in the money. Britney Spears makes a lot of money off of her perfumes (which are terrible). Jennifer Lopez?s Glow is still selling really well (and I love Glow and wear it all the time). Sarah Jessica Parker?s Lovely sells well too, and that?s a really nice scent too. Eh. Aniston really is just a lifestyle/beauty model at this point, she?s barely working as an actress these days.

Jennifer Aniston has a new interview. Guess what she talks about? HER HAIR! And her skin, because mama?s gotta shill for Aveeno too, baby. Jennifer spoke to Bobbi Brown for Yahoo Style yet again, and this is just another in a long line of interviews Jennifer has given in the past few years where she just goes full infomercial. She just talks to the press to shill Living Proof and Aveeno. A lot of celebrities do these kinds of interviews, but what?s notable is that those celebrities usually have other stuff to talk about too. Jennifer has not signed on to any new films officially since her big Oscar campaign/fiasco. She has no reason to talk to the press these days other than to chat about her hair and her skin. And how she?s not doing injectibles. O RLY?
Jennifer claims (again) that it?s not OK to do injectibles: ?Not only is it OK, it?s better. It just doesn?t help. It?s a slippery, slippery slope. And like we were saying before, they just start to lose perspective, it?s their new normal, so it?s a hard one to come back from.?
She still feels like she?s in her 20s: ?Maybe because ignorance is bliss, but I don?t feel much different than I felt in my 20s, except I feel physically better. I also love myself more. That?s the most beautiful thing that reflects out is inner confidence and inner sort of love. Our generation knows what we should put in our bodies, and that we shouldn?t be trashcans putting all sorts of crap in there. We know all the benefits of eating organic fruits and clean foods. We learned that smoking and sugar are the enemy. Our generation knows these things. We knew to take care of our skin from an early age. We also have all these technologies that come out. There are things that we can do to avoid any drastic, clown-making looks ? microcurrents and stuff that keeps you exercising your muscles in your face. There are 83 muscles in your face, from what I understand.
Her fitness routine: ?Usually, my love is running. I like to do a good trifecta, where I do the bike for 15 minutes, elliptical for 15, and then I run for 15. On the elliptical I kind of do sprints for 90 seconds, take it back to a jog for 30 seconds, and do intervals for the last minutes. Then I mix a day of yoga. Lately, because of my injury, I?ve only been able to do Barre method. Boy, I forgot how much that really hurts and kicks your butt.
Bobbi compliments her on her ?beautiful skin?: ?Yes, that is a blessing. I?m really good with my skin. I think it?s the luck of having a mom who was a model and was always obsessed with her skin. She always taught me to moisturize and wash my face every night, drink lots of water. It?s probably been the same routine since I was a kid. I use a Neutrogena face cleaning bar, then I use the Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer. Every once in a while, I bring in some toners or serums from my facialist. And did you see the new products from Living Proof??
Endless shill for Living Proof: ?Night Cap is my new favorite one. It?s amazing. You put it in your hand and it looks like a cream. At first, I was like, ?Why am I going to put cream in my hair at night and ruin the sheets?? But as it turns out your hair absorbs it, it wakes up fuller and bouncy and shiny.
She wants to do a lifestyle thing: ?I would like to do a lifestyle thing, for people who struggle with dieting. I could just make anything for a diet taste delicious.
She?s working on a cookbook: ?I?m working on it! I?m a good alchemist. I can mix certain things together that are all very healthy, but you don?t feel like you?re depriving yourself in any way.?
Tequila: ?I love Patrn. I also love Don Julio 1942 as a nice sipping tequila. It?s so yummy, it has a little sweetness to it, which I usually don?t like. Justin actually makes the perfect margarita with it, because there?s no agave, no sugar, no mix. It?s pure tequila, lime juice, a squinch of Cointreau. It?s delicious.

Again, I have two questions about the injectibles stuff. One, does it feel like her comments are in any way pointed to or about Courteney Cox? Because Cox has really messed up her face with Botox and injectibles and it really feels like Jennifer is calling out her friend publicly. Two, do you believe that Jennifer doesn?t do injectibles? I do not. I don?t think she?s at Cox-level f?kery, but there were moments during Jennifer?s Oscar campaigning where I thought, ?Damn, easy filler-face.?
And God help us all if Jennifer actually develops a lifestyle brand or a cookbook or something. We?ll never hear the end of it!

Another week, another product-placement interview/infomercial from Jennifer Aniston. Glamour Magazine did a Q&A with Jennifer and they barely hid the fact that she only did the interview to shill for Living Proof and Aveeno. Glamour literally interspersed Aniston?s answers with links to buy certain Aveeno and Living Proof products. There?s another purpose here as well: Jennifer makes sure that Justin Theroux gets some shout-outs. Probably because they haven?t been seen together since the Oscars? And they seem to have been apart for the better part of two and a half months? Anyway, here are some assorted highlights from Jennifer?s Glamour piece.
Her best hairstyle of all time: “Long, natural-looking beachy waves. That feels most like me.”
Her hair secret: “I was not a fan of the ?Rachel.? That was kind of cringe-y for me. Looking back?honestly, even during that time?I couldn?t do it on my own. I needed Chris [McMillan] attached to my hip. Left to my own devices, I am not skilled with a hairbrush and blow-dryer.”
Her no-fuss daily hair strategy: ?I?ll wash it, brush it, then put styling cream in and let it air-dry on its own.?
Her beauty miss: “I got the goth look?black lipstick and white foundation?out of my system in the eighties. That?s something I don?t do well now.
Her preferred look on a man: Clean-shaven. Scruffy is good, but you really have to wait until you get to the soft moment.”
Her cherished flaw: “I always love a beautiful scar. I think they?re sexy.?
Her stay-fit food: ?I?m good to go with a kale salad. Actually, Justin [Theroux] makes a great one with a poached egg and quinoa. It?s really delicious.”
Her favorite scent on earth: “The beach. The combination of ocean water, sand, suntan lotion?all those smells?I just love it.”
Her most confident moments: “I feel beautiful when I wake up with my sweetheart. When I leave a photo shoot, because somehow miracles have been worked. When I come home from a night out with my honey and my makeup?s a little smudged. I have many moments when I feel beautiful. It?s all about having that inner confidence.”

If I?m being honest, I actually miss the goth look. I never went full goth ? with my Indian coloring, it would have looked like I was doing whiteface – but I definitely played around with black lipstick, heavy eyemakeup, all-black clothing, Doc Martens, etc. It?s a fun look and I still sort of enjoy seeing it on other people. Also: in other interviews, Aniston has said that after a few years with Chris, she got a lot better with the brush and dryer and she can do her own blowouts now. Or did a hallucinate that? No, I?m pretty sure I didn?t. Her hair drama is all over the place. I think she?s just trying to ?relate? to average woman who presumably doesn?t have a full time hairstylist on call.

Just FYI: Jennifer Aniston?s llama sweater is Isabel Marant. These are just some assorted photos of Aniston out and about in NYC last week. She seemingly went to NYC just to hang out with friends and not to see her fianc Justin Theroux. I don?t think Theroux was in NYC at the same time. Weird, right? But it felt like Aniston wanted to be seen all of a sudden after ?going dark? for two months following the Oscars. Aniston waged one of the most aggressive Oscar campaigns in recent history, and at the end of the day, Academy voters denied Aniston a nomination. But she did get to present, so at least there?s that.
Aniston repeatedly said during her aggressive Oscar campaign that she hoped Cake would be the signal to directors and producers that she could handle more complex roles, that she wasn?t just a rom-com actress. For what it?s worth? I have issues with Jennifer Aniston, but I?ve always thought she was a gifted comedienne. She has great timing, she can deliver well-written comedic lines and she?s not afraid to look foolish for the sake of a laugh. Her attempts to be ?more? than a comedic actress have always gotten her into trouble. So? I for one was hoping that Cake would not bring her a truck full of drama scripts. And it hasn?t. It looks like Aniston?s first post-Cake film will be? a sequel to Mean Girls?!
New Line Cinema is setting Sean Anders to direct Mean Moms, and is targeting a summer start date for a film that has Jennifer Aniston eyeing the female-driven comedy. They worked together in Horrible Bosses 2 at New Line.
Mean Moms matches the spirit of Mean Girls with an adult cast. A happily married mother of two who moves from small-town America to the high?class suburbs suddenly must confront the cutthroat world of competitive parenting. Jill Messick is producing with Offspring Entertainment partners Jennifer Gibgot and Adam Shankman. Aniston doesn?t have a deal at this point and insiders in her camp said she has other options this summer, so stay tuned on this one.
Like Mean Girls, this movie is based on advice books written by Rosalind Wiseman. This film is based on Queen Bee Moms And King Pin Dads: Dealing With The Parents, Teachers, Coaches, And Counselors Who Can Make ? or Break ? Your Child?s Future; Mean Girls was based on Queen Bees And Wannabes. It isn?t precisely clear what role Aniston will play or if it will be closer in spirit to Rachel McAdams or Lindsay Lohan.

This has the potential to be really good and really funny. I hope that Aniston doesn?t get cast as the fish-out-of-water Lohan character. It would be much funnier (and truer to her real personality) if she was cast as the Queen Bee of the cool moms, the McAdams character. There?s a Mommy Mafia in LA and Aniston is very much aligned with that group (despite the fact that she doesn?t have kids). That?s who she is ? she?s the ?you can?t sit with us? Queen Bee.

Jennifer Aniston has been in NYC for several days now. These are photos of Aniston out last night ? she went out to dinner at Blue Hill, again with Jason Bateman and his wife. She was also spotted out with them on Tuesday night, dining at Omar?s. In these pics, Aniston has been described by some outlets as looking like she?s having a rough night. I don?t think so? She probably had a few drinks, but she?s not fall-down drunk. And it was windy, which is why her hair is all over the place.
Should we discuss the leather pants? I don?t mind the leather pants. I didn?t know she had it in her, honestly. Justin Theroux might have converted her ? Justin has worn leather pants before, although he does seem to prefer skinny jeans and JORTS. I actually like Jennifer?s whole outfit here, that sweater is the bomb. My only minor complaint is that I don?t like the ?matte? look of her boots side-by-side with the shiny leather pants. That?s one of my big issues with wearing leather or vinyl pants (I had and loved vinyl pants in college): what is the best footwear? I think boots are fine, but you do have to make sure that the black of the boots and the black of your leather pants ?go? together.
As for Justin Theroux? where is he? Some say he?s in Rome working on Zoolander 2. Some say he?s in Texas filming The Leftovers Season 2. Season 2 doesn?t air until September so? I don?t know what to tell you. I do think Justin and Jennifer are having issues, but she?s still wearing her ring in these photos.

Jennifer Aniston is surprisingly not holed up in Bel Air. Shocking! She?s been in NYC for a few days, and these are some photos of Jennifer and Amanda Anka out for dinner last night. Anka is Jason Bateman?s wife ? Bateman and Aniston have worked together so many times, and Jason and Amanda are part of the group of friends that Jennifer has cultivated in LA. It makes sense that Amanda and Jennifer would do dinner by themselves, I guess. They went to Nobu, and from what I can tell, Jason did not join them. And neither did Justin Theroux. I guess Jennifer is in NYC to spend time with Justin, although I couldn?t honestly tell you that Justin is currently in NYC. Last I heard, he was in Rome working on Zoolander 2. Last I heard, there was trouble in JustJen-ville.
Let?s talk about Jennifer?s street style, shall we? I?ve always thought that Jennifer?s personal, casual style was a lot better than her red carpet style, probably because I identify with Jennifer?s casual style. She has some great jeans in her closet, and some really cute sweaters, coats, sandals, blouses. I don?t hate her look here ? I was going to bitch about the rolled-up jeans, but I think she needed to do that for the boots. The coat and scarf are too bulky, but there?s been a chill in the air on the West Coast, so I?ll give her that too. She?s still wearing her engagement ring too (SO CLOUDY, like a quartz).
I wonder if Jennifer is going to turn up at a dinner with Amal and George Clooney. Remember, George and Jennifer are ?friends? now. They party together in Cabo. I would think that Amal is trying to jettison some of George?s friends though, so does Amal approve of Aniston?

Call me crazy, but I?ve been missing Jennifer Aniston. All of a sudden, she got sort of interesting when she was hustling for an Oscar nomination. But since the Oscars (where she failed to get a nom but did score a presenting gig), she?s been really quiet. Which is her M.O. ? she turns on the hustle and then she?s capable of ?disappearing? or staying off the radar for months at a time. So I?m glad that she?s giving interviews again. Unfortunately, her new interview with Fashionista is all about?wait for it? hair. It?s just infotainment/product placement/shilling for Living Proof, the haircare company that she co-owns. Some highlights:
Her hairstylist & BFF Chris McMillan convinces her to try new things: ?Oh god, yes. Always. Chris has that thing where he?s like Edward Scissorhands. He just sees hair and he wants to cut it. He would love for me to go… he wants to just cut it all off, kind of like a pixie, which I will never do. And he always likes to give it a good two inches every year, just a healthy cut. He?s also suggested going back to dark brown. We play with different things. I do listen to him sometimes.
Whether she ever felt the urge to go platinum: ?No. No I don?t. I?m not a trend person really. I kind of wait for the trends to go. Platinum blond ? unless it was a wig ? no.?
The no-shampoo movement: ?Silicone is a culprit in most shampoos. Over time, it builds up and turns into a hard coating and it cracks and breaks and snaps your hair. [People were] always saying, ‘Don?t wash your hair every day!’ but it was impossible ? because of all the oils and silicone ? it would create this greaseball head of hair within a day. The Living Proof scientists over there at MIT found a molecule to replace the silicone. Therefore, your hair is lighter and cleaner for days. I?d say I go every two to three days easily without washing my hair.
Whether she shampoos her hair after workouts: ?No, I don?t. I actually don?t. A little sweat in the hair is nice. It?s like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers and it?s actually just fun.
Why she wore her hair down at the Oscars: ?I just wanted to be comfortable that day. The [Versace] dress just fit like a glove and I felt so comfortable. I don?t like [to wear] my hair up very much. I?m not an up-do kind of gal. I feel like if you?re wearing a gown with glitter, you want to have beachy, natural hair to kind of go against that. So that?s sort of my main thing, being me. Being comfortable.

She was doing updos for some of the earlier awards season events, likely in attempt to show potential Oscar voters that she could be serious and award-worthy, that she wasn?t just a shallow lady with famous hair. But once she didn?t get the Oscar nom, the hair came down and it?s never going up again!!! What else? I agree with Chris, she should go dark brown (or even a warm medium brown) for a change. I think darker hair would make her look younger. I don?t think she should ever go platinum though ? that?s a difficult look for many women, and I don?t really think Aniston has the skin to pull it off. As for Chris wanting to do a pixie on her? eh. I think pixies are ?trendy? too, but thankfully the trend seems to be dissipating some.
Last thing: I think it?s gross to NOT shampoo your hair after a workout. But then again, I get really sweaty and I can?t imagine not properly washing everything after a workout.
