Jennifer Aniston gave yet another interview about economic policy, Brexit, international relations and the strength of Euro. Just kidding! She gave an interview about her hair. Aniston is currently promoting Mother?s Day, although you wouldn?t know it from this interview because she?s just shilling (endlessly) for Living Proof, the haircare company she partially owns. There is, I believe, a lot of junky non-science in here. Like, Aniston is about two seconds away from suggesting that women rub healing crystals on their split ends. Some highlights:
Her new favorite haircare product: ?The newest, coolest thing I?ve discovered from Living Proof and its scientific world is the Timeless Treatment. It?s a hair color protector. It goes on and looks like a cream conditioner, but you put it onto your hair from the roots down to the tip. You let it sit for five minutes and then shower and shampoo, which activates the product to seal and protect the color. Then you condition. The concept allows you to keep the richness of your color longer. It?s kind of amazing.?
Don?t wash your hair with hot water: ?Hot water is never good for your hair or skin, so I wash in warm water. It also depends on what day it is. If I?m working then I usually do wash it, because it has to have continuity, but if I?m not working I try to give my hair a break for as many days as possible. After the gym, if I have to be somewhere, I usually just throw some heat on it to dry the sweat and then do a little dry shampoo and a little Night Cap, and I’m fresh as a daisy. I can last a good three or four days without washing my hair, and all of this stuff just kind of keeps it fresh and alive and smelling great.?
Her workout hairstyle: ?I just wrap it up into whatever rubber band or clip I can find and it usually gets thrown on top of my head.?
Her favorite hair trends: ?I love a cut from afar, but I?m pretty classic and like to stick to what feels good for me. I don?t usually follow hair trends. I wish I could, but I always feel like I?m trying to be something I?m not. I love seeing these ’70s shags, though. They?re all super cute! And I always love a good highlighted head of hair.?
Her least favorite hair trends: ?Pink and green hair could go away. I don?t understand that to be honest, especially the green!
Her hairstylist?s best advice: ?His big advice is the less you mess with your hair, the better. Less is more, don?t touch it, don?t wash it every day, and just let it be. That way, it saves up your hair?s energy for when you have to go to work and be on camera and put it under the hot lights and driers and rollers. It?s really just about doing less and using good products to maintain its health.?

While some of this makes sense ? and I?ve heard variations on it before ? some of it just seems like someone who thinks way too much about her hair, to the point where she?s sort of talking nonsense. ?It saves up your hair?s energy? doesn?t mean anything. If you want to argue that you shouldn?t overprocess your hair, fine. But you?re not ?saving up your hair?s energy.? And I?ll never understand people who can go four days without washing their hair ? especially if you?re going to the gym every other day or more! ? but then again, I have really fine, oily hair.
Here?s a weird profile shot of Jennifer at last week?s premiere ? is she wearing a wiglet/hairpiece in the back??? After all of this hair talk, I still think she relies heavily on hairpieces and extensions.

While this surprised me, it shouldn?t have. Jennifer Aniston is promoting the Garry Marshall film Mother?s Day, which looks terrible but will be catnip to the so-called Minivan Majority. And Aniston is one of the most popular celebrities with that demographic too, so there you go. That?s how Jennifer Aniston gets named People Magazine?s Most Beautiful Woman for 2016. This is Aniston?s second time around as Most Beautiful ? her first time was in 2004, when she seemingly ?had it all.? She was finishing up a decade-long run on Friends, she was married to Brad Pitt and she was about to make a major transition to film. Plus, People Magazine thought she was about to have babies at any moment. And now, a dozen years later, Jennifer is married to Justin Theroux, a man who dumpster-dives for home dcor and wears JORTS in Cabo.

She was ?very flattered? to be chosen: “I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ there was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment.”
Mindful of diet: “It’s funny, it’s a really quick transition from not a care and now all of a sudden, we’ve got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies. And how we sleep and take care of ourselves. You can get away with a lot in your 20s.”
Being told by her agent that she was ?too chubby? in her 20s: “I was like, ‘What?!’ But my diet was terrible. Milk shakes and French fries with gravy [laughs]. It was a good thing to start paying attention.”
Being married to Justin Theroux brings her the greatest joy. “He makes me laugh. He’s so interesting and so interested. He’s unbelievably talented in more areas than one and he’s just a good man.”
The importance of contouring: “When I was in my 20s, my face was almost a complete circle. So I really needed contouring. And now I’m slowly chiseling away, wishing I had that round face back.”
She wishes she had tried a pixie cut when she was younger: “If I knew I could instantly push it back. I’m very curious to see what I would look like with really short hair. But I’ll never do it. Never. I’m a long hair girl. It’s like a security blanket.”
So how does Aniston define beauty? “Inner confidence. Peace. Kindness. Honesty. A life well-lived. Taking on challenges and not feeling shame for things that haven’t gone the way you felt they should have. And not feeling like a failure or allowing people to critique your life and make you feel like you’ve failed at something. That’s just toxic noise.”

Sure. It?s fine. I don?t really have a problem with this, especially since it?s not like it came out of nowhere ? this is so clearly cross-promotion for her film, and so be it. It is what it is. Incidentally, GossipCop actually swooped in on People Magazine?s exclusive again this year. GossipCop has done that several times over the past five years, and even GossipCop makes this cover sound like it?s just People Magazine doing cross-promotion for Mother?s Day.

Here is Jennifer Aniston’s cover for Harper’s Bazaar’s April issue might be a lot for your brain to process once you see how insanely beautiful she looks.
Jen works out five days a week, and each session is a combination of cardio and stretches. “[I do] a 15-minute-quad thing. I do 15 on the elliptical, 15 Spinning, then I do 15 run. And then I do portions of the Body by Simone DVD for floor work. It’s so freakin’ hard, it’s unbelievable.”

Here is Jennifer Aniston showing off her gorgeous ripped crepe Galvan dress beside husband, Justin Theroux, who sported a classic black suit and tie, for attend the ?Zoolander 2? World Premiere at the Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
But truly, they do look cute. There is not one notable thing about his look, since he?s worn it all before, but we?re pleasantly surprised to see Jen sporting a color, which is not a thing she normally does.

Here are some photos of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux at last night?s NYC premiere/runway show for Zoolander 2. Aniston did not walk the runway. Which is too bad, because I sort of like what she?s wearing here. The last time Aniston and Theroux walked a red carpet together, it was for the Critics? Choice and Aniston?s Saint Laurent dress was widely panned as one of the worst looks of the night.
For this premiere, Aniston wore a burgundy Galvan dress which apparently has a built-in corset. It?s fantastic to see her in a dress that it?s black or beige, and she should consider wearing more shades of red, burgundy, maroon, etc, because those colors really warm up her coloring. Even though Aniston still managed to have her hair in her face (she?s like Duchess Kate in that way), I like that she changed it up and went for a high ponytail too. The yellow-gold accents are fantastic as well ? she?s wearing yellow-gold jewelry and gold strappy heels. My one minor complaint? Her manicure clashes with the dress. This would have been a great moment for black nail polish.
People Magazine asked Justin about his Valentine?s Day plans, considering he?s been traveling so much in the past month to promote Zoolander 2, and he and Aniston have barely had any time together. A romantic dinner, perchance? Another gift of a quartz ring? But this is Justin?s V-Day plan: ?I want to get into some sweatpants because I feel like I?ve been in a suit forever. So we?ve done like, I don?t know, 6 cities now. We?re tired. So yeah, I?m going to get cozy and watch some HBO Go.? Yeah? don?t get me wrong, I don?t have an V-Day plans either (the BAFTAs fall on V-Day, so I?ll be working), but I?m also not married to America?s Sweetheart. Props to Justin for working in an HBO plug though.

Jennifer Aniston gave an exclusive interview to People Magazine for this week?s issue. Is she promoting a film project? No. She is not. Considering there?s a prominent photo of a SmartWater bottle within People Mag?s story, and considering Aniston is referred to as ?the smartwater sparkling spokesperson,? I suspect this is just a small, paid shill/infomercial, although Aniston herself doesn?t name-drop SmartWater in the interview. There?s also another possibility ? Kung Fu Panda 3 came out this week. I?m just sayin?. And it goes both ways ? both women like to do some thunder-stealing when the other one has a film out. Anyway, this People interview. Aniston?s big life goal: she wants to wear bikinis into her 80s.
She’s nearly 47 years old, but Jennifer Aniston isn’t planning to hang up her two-piece bathing suit any time soon.
“If I can be the first 80-year-old to go out there successfully in a bikini, then I’ll take that on,” the sun-loving actress tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue.
And why not? “I don’t think anybody needs to rein in anything because of an age,” says Aniston. “That is absolute BS. To each his own! Everybody needs to stay in his own backyard.”
Not to mention, her 40s are shaping up to be the best decade ever for Aniston, who wed longtime love Justin Theroux last August. And newlywed life is “awesome,” says the smartwater sparkling spokesperson. “I love it!”
As for her upcoming birthday (Feb. 11), Aniston might just let that milestone pass without much fanfare.
“Is my birthday happening soon?” she asks with a laugh. “Oh, that’s ridiculous. It’s too soon for that. I’m going to pass this year.” Or, maybe not. “I might just quietly celebrate,” continues Aniston. “But I do love any excuse for a party!”

I think the whole ?you can only wear a bikini until you reach a certain age? thing is mostly an American construct. I see European women wearing bikinis at any age. I see European men wearing Speedos at any age too. While I think that some Americans, mostly long-time beach residents, surfers and the like, feel like ?anything goes, who cares,? there is an obsession in America with being ?bikini ready? or whatever. So on that, Aniston can do what she likes. I agree, who cares? But just the fact that this was the big takeaway from her exclusive People interview is a bit weird.

Personally, I think the awfulness of her Saint Laurent dress is totally a two-day story, but there are other moments to discuss. Like, Jennifer wasn?t just there as the wife of a nominee ? Justin also got to present an award alongside Liv Tyler. And when he was on stage, Jennifer couldn?t see him, so she ordered someone to ?MOVE!?

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were surprise guests at last night?s Critics Choice Awards. By that I mean that I was surprised to see them, because I forgot that Justin Theroux was finally nominated for something for The Leftovers. While Justin didn?t end up winning Best Actor in a Drama series, he and Jennifer were two of the biggest names at the event, which was sparsely attended.
Jennifer also chose this moment to debut a new look. And by ?new,? I mean a look that was pretty dated and ?90s, but it?s new for her. She?s gotten ultra-blonde highlights upfront, and she was doing something different with her makeup. The result was enough to make me quit bitching about how she never changes anything up. I was wrong! She shouldn?t change anything up, ever. Because her new look is no bueno. The blonde highlights combined with the too-dark eyes make her look like an over-the-hill biker babe.
Jennifer?s dress also didn?t do her any favors. She wore this Saint Laurent gown in a pale blue, which was actually on-trend for the night (SO MANY women wore this color). But the design? Yikes. Everyone thought she accidentally split her dress up the middle, the slit was so high. And the bust ruffle is just? bad. The whole thing is really bad. She needs a mulligan on the whole look, quite honestly. But I guess we should be happy that she tried to change it up. And I?m happy that she walked at least one carpet during this awards season ? it feels like forever since we?ve seen her on a red carpet.
As for Justin? he looks quite ?tight? doesn?t he? A little Botox?

With a successful career and a new marriage, Jennifer Aniston is certainly sitting pretty this holiday season.
The ?We?re the Millers? actress is featured in a new piece by Goop and despite her fame she really only requires a few simple pleasures in life.
When asked about the things she values most, Jen gushed, ?Spending time with my husband [Justin Theroux]. My dogs, and long-time girlfriends. Those times are sacred to me and I would never give them up.?
As for her holiday wish list, Aniston proclaimed, "The health and safety of all my loved ones [top the list]. I know it may be corny but in these times we now live in, I wish for peace!"
