| Jennifer Aniston does 'intermittent fasting?: 'I noticed a big difference' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Last year, we talked about intermittent fasting like it was the trendy new diet, which is what Chris Pratt made it sound like in December 2018. Intermittent fasting has been around for a long time, and it has roots in nearly every religion. But in 2018-19, fasting is being divorced from religion and being rebranded as a cool, interesting way to lose weight. Or something. The idea behind intermittent fasting is that you only allow yourself to eat solid food for a certain portion of the day, like a six-hour or eight-hour window, and then you ?fast? (or only drink liquids) the other 16 or 18 hours of the day. Well, fasting is getting a new celebrity face: Jennifer Aniston is a fan.
Add Jennifer Aniston to the growing list of celebs who love intermittent fasting. The 50-year-old actress said she?s had major success on the eating plan, which requires fasting for 16 hours a day and eating only during an eight-hour period.
?I do intermittent fasting, so there?s no food in the morning,? she told U.K. outlet Radio Times. ?I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours.?
Instead, Aniston ? a late riser who gets up around 9 a.m. each day ? sticks to just liquids in the mornings, like green juices and coffee. ?Today, I woke up and had a celery juice,? she said. ?Then I started to brew some coffee, but I don?t drink coffee that early.?
Before sitting down with her cup of joe, Aniston said she meditated, worked out and fed her dogs. Her Morning Show costar Reese Witherspoon, on the other hand, is up with the sun because of her 7-year-old son Tennessee, who wakes her up at 5:30 or 6 a.m. But she, like Aniston, prefers a liquid breakfast.
?I just have a green juice and a coffee in the morning,? Witherspoon, 43, said. The mom of three also forces herself to start exercising in the morning. ?I find it really hard to work out before 7:30 a.m. But that?s the time I start one; 7:30 a.m.,? Witherspoon said. ?I probably do that six days a week.?
[From People]
I?ve never been a breakfast person, and I only do a big morning meal if it?s brunch and there?s bacon involved. At this point in my life, I do force myself to eat something in the morning (yogurt and a banana) just because I know that A) I?ll be starving by lunchtime if I don?t eat something early, and B) I legitimately feel like that?s a healthier way to start my day. Several years back, commenters recommended starting my day, first thing, with a glass of water, so now I try to do that too (I drink about half a glass most mornings). My point is? I could probably not eat anything in the mornings, and I could probably stick to eating in an eight-hour window, but I would end up eating too much in that window of time. As for Jennifer? I wonder if she still does some version of the Zone diet too. She was so big on that?

| Jennifer Aniston talks literal goddess circles, sexism & turning 50 with the NYT | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Aniston has a new profile in the New York Times this week. She?s promoting her Apple+ streaming series The Morning Show. The NYT describes her character as an Ann Curry-type, but? I think that?s kind of off-base, at least judging from the first trailer. I would say that it seems like Aniston is playing a Katie Couric-type perky & personable morning show anchor whose sunny optimism has become much more stagnant and jaded over time. Think, Katie Couric if she had stayed at the Today Show for all of Matt Lauer?s bullst. Anyway, this NYT piece wasn?t all that if you ask me, her InStyle cover interview was much more interesting and thorough. Some highlights:
Jennifer & her friends really do literal goddess circles: The women landed safely, switched planes and, the next night, gathered for a ritual they?ve been doing for three decades: a goddess circle. Seated on cushions, cross-legged on the living room floor, they passed around a beechwood talking stick decorated with feathers and charms, much as they had done for every major event of their lives. They had circled before Aniston?s weddings to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. They circled when babies were born, and when Aniston and Theroux had to put down their dog, Dolly.
On turning 50 this year: ?It?s so weird. There?s so much doom around that number? I?m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life. Seriously, I?ve been doing this for 30 years and I feel like it?s just about to really bloom.?
What her ?Morning Show? character is about: ?Children, guilt, power struggle, being a woman in the industry, going through a divorce, publicly going through a divorce, feeling alienated, being just a little bit of a screw-up.?
Whether she has a #MeToo story: Aniston says she does not, though she has certainly experienced her share of sexism in 30 years in the business. ?Agents. Studios. Finding out what this actor made versus that actor made.?
On being well-known but never really, truly known: ?There?s a similarity to my life. I relate in ways of feeling like, when you don?t want to be seen, and you don?t want to go out of the house, and you want to just scream, and you don?t want to walk on a red carpet. I don?t want to stand behind a podium, I don?t want to have my photograph taken, I want to just cry today. You know??
Whether she could have played this character years ago: ?No. I didn?t have the experience. It?s taken time for me to get where I am and I put a lot of work into my craft. I?ve failed. I?ve succeeded. I?ve overcome. I?ve, you know, I?ve stayed around. I?m still here.?
[From The NY Times]
While I am not tempted (whatsoever) to subscribe to Apple+, I think The Morning Show will be very successful, and I?m sure Jennifer will probably get nominated for awards and probably even win awards. Part of that will be about the work itself, part of it will be the prestige and money Apple puts behind the show, and part of it will be just Hollywood reaffirming to Jennifer that they?ll always see her as a TV actor. There?s nothing wrong with being a TV actor. But she ran away from that for years, and now she?s back in people?s homes again. And she?ll be rewarded for it. As for the literal goddess circles I always thought it was a figure of speech, like she was just talking about hanging out with her girlfriends. I really didnt know that they did true goddess circles for prayers and a talking stick and everything. Whoa.

| Chris Hemsworth's wife isn't happy when he uses her La Mer on his whole body | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Chris Hemsworth has a contract with Hugo Boss he?s the face of BOSS Bottled Infinite, their latest cologne. And much like Jennifer Aniston, Irina Shayk and assorted model-actress ladies, Chris Hemsworth will totally give interviews solely to rep his beauty/fragrance contracts. Chris sat down with GQ to chat about living in Australia, his favorite scents, sunburns and a lot more you can read the full piece here. The best part is where he talks about using his wife?s La Mer as a full-body moisturizer. Some highlights:
What he packs when he?s traveling: ?A toothbrush, toothpaste, beard trimmer, a bit of coconut oil, and a moisturizer. I steal various moisturizers from my wifes section of the bathroom. A little cologne, and some deodorant. Some sunscreen, if Im in some hotter climates, an outdoor place where Im gonna surf. I usually have a whole bunch of surfboard wax if Im going on a surf trip. That usually takes up most of the room in my vanity kit.
The products he borrows from his wife: ?She uses a lot of La Mer products, which, you know, cost a small fortune, so shes less than happy when I use that face moisturizer over my whole body. I found out the hard way when I used her $400 cream for a sunburn one time. That wasnt the best option? My shoulders were sunburnt one time and I lathered up my shoulders with some La Mer products not realizing how expensive they were. She wasnt really that impressed. It smells so delicious, I wanted to eat it.
How he uses coconut oil: ?Usually just on my face. Especially when its really dry and Im surfing a lot, spending a lot of time in the sun. Its better for sunburn or dehydrated skin?and much cheaper?than La Mer.
His favorite cologne: ?Nothing too overpowering, nothing too sweet. Thats why I like the Hugo Boss stuff. Theres a versatility to it that Ive always appreciated, and its not just for one occasion. But I like to wear it sparingly. Not a whole lot. You want it to be subtle. I dont like walking into a room and having everybody be aware of what cologne youre wearing. So the earthier, more relaxed tones.
[From GQ]
I bet Chris smells good, no joke. He looks like the kind of guy who would smell like the ocean and something earthy-yet-pleasant. Maybe that?s the next battle for ?who is the Best Chris?? That?s one area where I think Hemsworth might win out of all the Chrises, I bet Hemsworth smells the best. Then Chris Pine, and then a steep drop-off and then Chris Pratt. As for using La Mer as a whole body moisturizer? gotta spend that Marvel money somehow! Seriously, this was a better ad for La Mer than it was for Hugo Boss.

| Jennifer Aniston's colorist: Jen is 'a style icon because she doesn't go trendy' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|

|
|
I started dyeing my hair years ago to cover the grey and I?m not going to stop anytime soon. My grey was premature I had grey streaks and grey around my temples in my 20s, and I really don?t want to think about how grey my hair has gotten at this point. I?ve only ever wanted to be my original hair color, a dark brown-black, so that?s the color I?m aiming for with the dye job. Jennifer Aniston?s original, born-with-it hair color was a medium-to-dark brown. In the ?90s, she kept going lighter and lighter, and eventually she settled on a caramel blonde (I consider it ?bronde?) which has become something of a ?signature? for Jen. She?s had that caramel-bronde for literally decades now. And her colorist says that Jen is never going to change it.
Jennifer Aniston?s hair is her signature, which is why she has no plans to switch it up anytime soon. Or ever.
?Jennifer has been Jennifer for more than 25 years without a lot of change,? her longtime colorist Michael Canal told Page Six Style. ?For some films, we?ve moved her more blond, but other than those momentary steps into different tones, Jennifer stays true to the original and I really don?t see her changing it up too radically. That?s not her ? or me.?
The pair first met when the actress was filming the ?Friends? pilot more than two decades ago: ?Jennifer had medium brown hair, a little past shoulder length. I decided to switch her out from her natural brown to a caramelized blond with feather-thin highlights, a color that looked like she loved being on the beach,? he recalled. ?Chris [McMillan] then cut it and made it easy for me to drop in those signature highlights around her face to bring out the cut and accent her eyes and face. This collaboration became known as ?The Rachel.? That was in 1994, and all these years later, her cut and color is really quite close to what we did back then. I saw her every five weeks after that, and still do today.?
To achieve her iconic look, ?I pull the color from root to end to create a graduation of dark to light, and always keep the hairline freshly done. That really is my signature,? Canal explained. ?While most other celebrities have tried long and short and wildly different colors, Jennifer has become a style icon because she doesn?t go trendy. And she could. She?s so beautiful and has such an amazing bone structure and eyes; she could totally pull off something different. But she?s a classic, and she knows it. She skews toward the completely natural, sun-kissed look, and doesn?t force anything ? it?s what I love about her.?
[From Page Six]
I mean? it?s weird that we?re still talking about Aniston?s hair like it?s STILL the most interesting thing about her, but that being said? of course I have some thoughts! I always have thoughts about Jen?s hair. One person?s ?classic? is another person?s ?dated.? I get that Jennifer loves that California-bronde look and I agree that it?s her signature color/cut and that it would be weird if she went with whatever seasonal trend is happening. That being said, is it weird that save for one dramatic chop 10 years ago, she?s had the same basic look for about 20 years? It?s the same thing as Gwyneth Paltrow?s center part, straw-blonde, pin-straight hair look we just associate those hairstyles with the ?90s, and it?s weird that neither woman has thought to switch things up a little bit. What kills me about Jennifer is that she would look really cute with a shaggy lob and darker hair. She really would.

Jennifer Aniston barely had to promote Murder Mystery, her Netflix film with Adam Sandler. I think she did one magazine cover, two TV interviews (Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel) and one premiere. I bet she got a really nice paycheck for everything too. And why not? It would be hard to say ?no? to some of the easiest money ever, just to hang out in Europe with friends. Well, the good vibes don?t stop there - Murder Mystery is now Netflix?s ?best opening.? Nearly 31 million people watched the movie on Netflix in its first three days. It was the biggest ?opening weekend? for a Netflix film of all time. People just love to see Jennifer on television, that?s what I?m getting from this. Jennifer Aniston: Movie Star never really happened, but TV movies and TV shows? People are totally there. Good for her.
Meanwhile, someone thoughtfully dropped this little item to People Magazine. This just serves as yet another reminder that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux still haven?t filed for divorce, because they were never really married and they lied to people about that. Behold, a ?who is Jen dating?? update:
With her new Netflix comedy Murder Mystery opposite Adam Sandler and the highly anticipated Apple TV series The Morning Show, Jennifer Aniston has been busier than ever. Following her split from Justin Theroux, 47, last year, the actress has been focusing on her career. Although her hectic schedule doesn?t allow too much time for dating, a source tells PEOPLE in this week?s issue the actress is ?genuinely happy and fulfilled by her work right now.?
But that doesn?t mean she isn?t open to finding love again. Aniston, 50, told Harpers Bazaar in May, ?When [love] comes knocking, it?s going to be welcomed. I?m not like, ?No, I?m done with that.??? And a source adds it?s only a matter of time before she finds that special someone.
?She will be cautious [about dating again]. If something comes into her life, that?s fine, but she is not sitting on the edge of her seat,? says the source. ?It?s not because she doesn?t want to [date], but because there just hasn?t been time for her to focus on it,? says an insider.
For now, she?s excited for her return to TV this fall with The Morning Show also starring Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell, 15 years after saying goodbye to Friends ? and she?s content with her world as it is. Says the insider: ?She knows that she lives a very fun life, and she?s extremely grateful for it all.?
[From People]
Post-Brad Pitt, it really felt like Jennifer wanted to ?compete? with her ex-husband?s headlines, and so for a decade, we were inundated with updates about Jennifer?s dating patterns and boyfriends and how she was in love and then there would be a big breakup and on and on. Even when she got with Justin Theroux, that sh-t still happened for years. Then finally, it really did seem to change. Like, I actually believe Jennifer is content these days after years of only pretending to be content. She?s finally okay. And I think she?s finally understood that maybe she?s just happiest by herself, with her dogs, in her mansion, sipping a mojito and counting her money.

Here are some photos of Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler at last night?s LA premiere for Murder Mystery, which is just Sandler?s latest ?let?s go on vacation with my friends and film a movie? movie. This one is being released on Netflix, so everyone will get to see it from the comfort of their homes. You know what would have been great? If Adam Sandler had just put a little bit of effort into his appearance. Jennifer Aniston thought about her look, she got a new black leather dress and got her hair and makeup done, and then she has to pose beside Adam Sandler, who looks like he just rolled out of bed. I hate that.
As for Jen?s look? I can?t find the ID on her dress, but she seriously owns like 20 little black leather dresses. This one is not my fave I?m fine with Jen showing off her legs in a mini, and conceptually, the LBLD is an okay choice for her. But I hate the ?baggy? top and the mock turtle. It?s not flattering on her, she looks like Suzy No Neck. I do like her mix-and-match jewelry though she?s wearing a charm bracelet, some bangles, and diamond rings. No QUARTZ. No visible reminders of her fake husband Justin Theroux.
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently appeared on The Ellen Show and she said something about how she would be up for a Friends reunion or something. People really need to let this go, this idea of the same actors coming back for another show. It would be awful, and we need new ideas and new shows. On the red carpet last night, Jennifer was asked about a possible reunion again and why she?s now on-board theoretically. She told ET: ?Well, no was getting me nowhere, and maybe was getting me nowhere. So I thought Id try yes. See what would happen. Sorry! Anything could happen. I have no idea though. Theres no plans in the immediate future. Can we not.

| Jennifer Aniston 'is not worried' about turning 50 in a few days: 'she's in a good place' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Aniston turns 50 years old in a few days. On February 11th, America?s ?Favorite Friend? is turning the big 5-0, and there doesn?t seem to be a lot of drama around it? I feel for her though I mean, as much as you can have sympathy for a millionaire living in a huge mansion, I have sympathy for Jen. Those big milestone birthdays are always difficult. This time last year, Jennifer?s fake-ass marriage to Justin Theroux was falling apart. They spent her 49th birthday apart, Jen in LA and Justin in New York, and they announced their split just after her birthday. In the year that?s followed, neither has filed for divorce, probably because they weren?t even legally married, I guess. And now we?re not even supposed to mention any of that. It?s all about Jen Is Fabulous At 50.
50 and fabulous! Jennifer Aniston celebrates her golden birthday on Monday, February 11, and a source tells Us Weekly the actress ?is feeling great? about it.
?She?s not worried about the number 50,? says the insider. ?She feels like life gets better with age and she isn?t looking back. The older she gets, the more comfortable she is in her own skin. She?s in a good place and happy.?
Aniston?s milestone birthday comes one year after she and estranged husband Justin Theroux confirmed their split after more than two years of marriage and nearly seven years together. In this next phase of her life, though, ?She?s not worried about meeting a man or dating,? notes the insider. ?It?s not a priority for her or something she?s thinking about. Being single is just fine for her.?
Instead, the Dumplin? star is ?focused on work, her friends, and taking great care of herself.?
?She feels like, ?Bring it on,? says the source. ?A new decade is always a chance to turn over a new leaf and see what?s in store next. Life is good and she?s content. She?s just going to keep doing what she loves.?
[From Us Weekly]
Ever since the split with Theroux, Jennifer really has seemed? fine. No drama, she?s not getting in our face about anything. I suspect she has been quietly dating, but there?s no one she wants us to know about? perhaps because if she stepped out with a new guy, people would wonder ?hey, did you ever get divorced from Justin or what?? So, as much as I think Jennifer is just fine and enjoying her life, I also hope that her big milestone birthday isn?t a giant mindfk. Oh, and you know the tabloids are STILL going to claim that she?s pregnant with Brad?s baby at 50. Fabulous And Pregnant At 50!!

I haven?t seen Dumplin? yet but I want to I ?ve heard a lot of good things about it. I?m supposed to wait for my daughter to see it but I can get an appointment at the DMV sooner than find a hole is her schedule. In the meantime, I?ll just have to settle for Jennifer Aniston working the talk-show circuit to promote it, which is fine by me, especially when she appears with Dolly Parton. Jennifer and Dolly swung by The Late Show with James Cordon. While there, James seemingly broke the news to Jennifer that Netflix had just paid $100M to keep Friends reruns up for one more year. Naturally, this led to a discussion about the possibility of a Friends reboot. According to Jennifer, ?the girls? are all for it but it?s ?the boys? that are the holdout. To hurry past any more speculation, Jennifer proposed that Monica, Phoebe and Rachel put out their own Golden Girl-esque show.
I don?t think they will ever reboot Friends. I really hope they won?t. I agree with Lisa Kudrow that the story just wouldn?t work now. All but Joey are married and/or with kids. If they were all still hanging out together all the time, we?d find them sad and neglectful parents. I loved Will & Grace when it was at its height and gave the reboot a try but I had to stop, it was ruining my fondness for the original show. The one episode I watched of the Murphy Brown update did the same. Just watching Friends reruns through today?s lens points out its flaws and foibles, rebooting it would surely kill my crush. But I also wonder if the cast really does want it to happen. I never get the impression they do. I know they, the women especially, like working together but they?ve all appeared on each other?s shows so they can continue that and the occasional skit. I think their ?desire? to do a reboot is lip service for the fans. I don?t hate the idea of a Golden Friends show with the three women. Maybe they could propose that in like, 20 years.
Since I have no desire for a Friends reboot, I would far prefer to hear about the haunted apartment Jennifer lived in when she first moved in to LA. She told a skeptical James that they even brought in a ghost hunter who found out the ghost hated Jennifer?s roommate ? so Jennifer moved out. There?s your reboot idea ? have the Golden Friends move into a bungalow with a ghost who serves as the fourth roommate.
