Here are some photos from last night?s NYC premiere of The Leftovers, which just shows you that Jennifer Aniston can really fly under the radar when she wants, because I literally had no idea that she had flown to NYC. We usually get pap photos of stars at LAX, so that is how ?under the radar? she is these days ? she didn?t even get pap?d at LAX. This was Jennifer?s first red carpet in months, and it was her first red carpet with Justin Theroux in? like, more than a year, I think. He came to Toronto for TIFF with her last September but they didn?t walk the red carpet together.
Jennifer wore this little black ensemble (I don?t have the ID), Justin wore Dior Homme. I like Jennifer?s look, although that skirt seems weirdly tailored. But it?s a little black dress and she loves those, and I like she went with something sleeved. It does look like she?s wearing a giant scrunchie as a belt though. As for Justin, I always hate that no-tie, buttoned-up look on men. It?s too fashion-y. Plus, I?m pretty sure Justin is wearing guyliner and probably some mascara too. Jennifer groomed the sh-t out of him. She likes her men super-pretty.
Us Weekly got an ?onlooker? (totally NOT Aniston?s publicist!!) to say: ?Jen and Justin were really sweet together. They were both absolutely beaming. Inside the event, Jen was being really sociable and looked extremely happy. They looked totally in love and seemed very relaxed.”
Also: Justin?s costar Liv Tyler is in Stella McCartney. There have been some tabloid rumors about Liv and Justin. I don?t know if I believe the rumors, but we?ll see. Their body language doesn?t seem like ?we?re secretly boning,? but you never know.

Jennifer Aniston has several new interviews, and they?re all about her hair. Of course. I remember a time when Jennifer used to tell interviewers that she was more than the sum of her hairstyles, but that was before she had invested in Living Proof and had to do endless press about how Living Proof changed her (hair) life. Of course, she doesn?t JUST use Living Proof, although she won?t say that. She also uses experimental hair treatments involving formaldehyde. Seriously. Anyway, here are some assorted new quotes from Jennifer about her hair:
Showing off her dark bob for ?Cake?: “I don’t know, man. I did it! I feel great. I feel lighter. It’s simple, it’s really simple, that’s for sure. But I’m always one of those girls who does a big old chop just to get it really healthy, to repair all the [damage from] hair coloring and stuff like that.”
Her favorite movie hair: “I loved my hair in Along Came Polly. Dr. Julia from Horrible Bosses — I loved that. That was fun, glamorous.”
Her look in ?Cake? is not new: “Well it?s not. I just wrapped a movie [Cake] ? It was basically for that ? But I actually like it. This is how god created me.”
Straightening: “The thing that makes me chuckle is when I hear that my hair is so this, or so that. My hair is always at odds with a brush and a hair dryer. To get my hair straight can be a struggle.”
Her problem hair: “As a child [my hair], was problem hair. But ? you sit in enough chairs with enough of these amazing, creative hairstylists and you start to learn how to manage it and now thanks to Living Proof it?s even easier.”

Aniston kills me. She has full, thick, naturally wavy/curly hair and it?s like it would never occur to her to just own that. But no, she wants straight blonde hair and she?s spent so much time, money and energy trying to achieve that. Meanwhile, so many women wish they could have her natural waves. Meanwhile, Radar claims that Jennifer now has a ?drive-in closet?.
Walk-in closets are so last season. RadarOnline.com has learned that fashion icon Jennifer Aniston is about to set fashionistas scrambling with her latest style innovation: a $60,000 drive-in closet!
Aniston is in the midst of renovating her 8,500 square foot Bel Air mansion, and seems to have found it is simply not big enough to house all of her designer duds: According to recent permits filed with the Los Angeles Building & Safety Department, the former Friends star plans on converting her garage to a massive walk-in wardrobe. The documents reveal that the 45-year-old?s new boudoir is more like a Barney?s boutique than a closet, with 24-feet by 36-feet of runway-worthy space, at a cost of $60,000.
And that?s not all! To glam it up the former car park, Aniston is adding a skylight and a powder room to give the new addition some natural light when she?s getting primped and fitted.
The drive-in walk-in is just the latest in the multi-million revamp of the manse, where even the chickens got upgraded digs. Aniston and fianc Justin Theroux also recently remodeled their master bedroom to add 7-feet by 12-feet of extra room, added a 6-foot by 20-foot balcony, renovated the concrete staircase with water features made of lava veneer and glass railings, added living quarters to a guard house, and remodeled the kitchen and pool house.
The impressive estate also comes with a private vineyard, pool, landscaped gardens, high-tech indoor gym, library, gourmet kitchen, butler?s kitchen, a dining room and library, and two upstairs guest rooms with a lanai.

While all of the renovations sound like Pure Aniston (she loves her luxury and why not?), this sounds like the antithesis of Justin Theroux?s hipster shtick. He?s happier in a small NYC apartment, hanging out with his hipster friends and wearing the same skinny jeans and boots day after day. He doesn?t need a drive-in closet for his collection of jorts.

No one has any idea what?s going on with Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston these days. Life & Style says this week that Justin was getting flirty and touchy with another woman at a bar. In Touch says Jennifer is pregnant. And Us Weekly says that JustJen is for sure (FOR SURE) going to get married in Hawaii. This year. For sure.
Jennifer Aniston had strongly considered tying the knot with fianc Justin Theroux in Mexico. But lately the 45-year-old actress has had a change of heart and is now interested in getting hitched in another tropical location – Hawaii – according to a Wednesday report from UsWeekly.
The ceremony will still be small with only about 20 people in attendance, added the publication.
The Hawaiian islands are a fond place for the couple, who have been engaged for nearly two years.
In 2011 they vacationed in Kauai where they were seen holding hands and enjoying the laid back beach lifestyle. They reportedly were staying at Ben Stiller’s mansion.
‘They had a very special trip there,’ said a source.
Not wedding date has been set yet for the Wanderlust co-stars, but the weekly has reportedly the duo will definitely walk down the aisle in 2014.
Though Jennifer and Justin have been working on separate coasts – he has been in New York City making HBO’s The Leftovers while she has been in LA shooting Cake – they did reunite on Tuesday when he stopped by her film set to see her.

Do you think Justin took one look at Jennifer?s Oscar-bait prosthetic scars and thought, ?Well? at least she?s rich??? No, he really loves her. Or something. He?s committed to seeing this through, which is better than every other dude she?s dated in the past nine years. I for one would be very happy for them if they did a low-key wedding in Hawaii. Also: it was my understanding that Justin owned a beach shack in Hawaii, or did I hallucinate that?

Last Friday, we had some of the first photos of Jennifer Aniston on the California set of Cake, her new drama (dramedy?) which has Aniston looking? well, kind of rough. You have to remember, through Aniston?s career, her movies can usually be described as ?the one where she wore all the scarves? or ?the one where she was in the bikini? or ?the one with that cute white dress.? My point? Aniston usually makes a point to only do films where she looks cute and has a great wardrobe. Cake is not that kind of film.
Anyway, these are some assorted new and newish photos from the set. I?d heard that Aniston?s character had some kind of backstory that involved chronic pain, but as you can see in some of these photos, Aniston is wearing prosthetic/makeup scars on her face. That surprised me. I think she?s got some scars on her hands too, or maybe the lighting is just weird. So? start your engines. Everyone is already talking about how Aniston is ?uglying up? for an Oscar bid, like Charlize Theron in Monster or something. I don?t know though? you can give her bad clothes (and seriously, her outfits are NOT CUTE in this movie) and scars, but will she still flap her hands, pout and tilt her head like Rachel Green? If so, maybe not so much with the Oscar talk.
That being said, I applaud Jennifer for mixing it up at long last. Cake is the first film Aniston is executive producing through her recently inked deal with Shenghua Entertainment/Cinelou Films, which basically means that Chinese producers want a foothold in Hollywood. Shenghua has financed Cake for $7-10 million, which means it will probably be eligible for Independent Spirit Awards. Maybe that?s what Aniston should aim for.

Plugging away at her latest film, Jennifer Aniston shot a restaurant scene for "Cake" in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 8).
The "Friends" star was dressed down for the scene in a white top, gray cardigan, and light pants as she exited the building without a smile.
In the upcoming dramedy, a grieving mother suffering from chronic pain in the aftermath of a fatal car accident finds an unlikely source of inspiration.
Joining Jen in the cast are Anna Kendrick, Sam Worthington, Britt Robertson, Chris Messina, and William H. Macy.

Here is Jennifer Aniston spending the morning filming for her next film project, Cake, at a Los Angeles cemetery.
The former Friends star was seen dressed in an oversize gray sweater, khaki pants and another beige sweater underneath to keep warm in the chilly weather.
Cake is about a grieving mother suffering from chronic pain in the aftermath of a fatal car accident who finds an unlikely source of inspiration. Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington recently joined the cast.

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Aniston on the Pasadena set of her new film, Cake. It?s a smaller drama (or a black comedy) which Jennifer is producing herself. It?s about a woman grieving a dead husband, I think? And she?s supposed to look like this, which? props to Jennifer. Usually she only does movies where she can look cute and wear wedges and scarves. She looks properly grief-stricken in these photos. The film also stars Sam Worthington, William H. Macy, Anna Kendrick and Chris Messina.
In other Aniston news, Star Magazine claims that she?s flirting with the idea of joining Kabbalah because she thinks it will make her look younger and be more centered:
Demi Moore has a new soul sister in Jennifer Aniston. The pair recently got together to discuss their rom-com Mean Moms and Jen noticed a marked change in her old pal. ?Jen was struck by how calm and centered Demi seemed? Demi explained that it?s a combination of Kundalini yoga, meditation and studying Kabbalah.?
Intrigued, Jen signed on for Kabbalah lessons. ?Kabbalah is a fit for her because it?s about ?finding your light? and helping others.?
But her fianc Justin Theroux is worried that others are helping themselves to Jen?s cash!
?Justin is skeptical, it sounds to him like a waste of time and a way to get money out of people,? reveals the insider. ?He doesn?t like it.?

It sounds like BS, for sure, although I wouldn?t put it past Jennifer to ?flirt? with the idea of a scam ?religion.? The real Kabbalah is the mystical sect of Judaism ? the Hollywood version of Kabbalah is just slightly less culty than Scientology, and I would buy the idea that Justin is a bit more street-smart when it comes to cults. Also, this made me laugh: ?But her fianc Justin Theroux is worried that others are helping themselves to Jen?s cash!? Don?t they know that only Justin is allowed to do that?! Justin is just protecting his sugar mama from being taken by anyone other than him.

Jennifer Aniston is still hustling for Aveeno. The Forever Hustle, right? If not Aveeno, then SmartWater, and if not SmartWater, it?s Living Proof. She?s mostly a model and a brand at this point. Which? I mean, props to her. Aniston is a seriously wealthy woman and most of the money she?s made over the past three to four years has been from her endorsement deals rather than her film career, although her film career is still pretty lucrative too.
Anyway, Aniston has some new interviews on behalf of her Aveeno contract. She gave one to E! News which we covered on Sunday ? Jennifer talking about how Justin ?hijacks? her Aveeno products. And now there are some new quotes from an interview she did with WWD:
Doing a voiceover for an Aveeno commercial: ?The mini movie is basically just informing the audience on what is behind Aveeno products and how they are made and where they come from and the detail that they pay [attention to in terms of] what goes into the products. What I learned about is how they make the products, the farm that they go to in Canada, the climate and the importance of the soil and how they get that oat from being an oat in the field to being in a bottle.?
Enunciating: ?It was an easy day. No makeup, no hair. I rolled up and learned some stuff about oats. But it is interesting how you have to hit certain inflections and hit certain words. It is very specific. There is also a time issue where you have to speed up.?
Doing so many product endorsements: ?The demand with time isn?t that great. You just do it when you have those few months off here and there, and it is nice because it is balances out the other stuff. It?s nice to be a part of skin-care companies and hair care and all that. It?s just a different business to dip your toes into.?
Public mentions of aging: ?Your age always has to be mentioned and men don?t really get that for some reason. It?s not like you see Joe Schmo, 37. Women and men today in their 40s are so much healthier than they were 30 years ago in their 40s. It was a different time. We know how to take care ourselves. We know what to put in our bodies to fuel us that?s healthy and organic and not processed, and the importance of drinking water and cutting out sugars and bad fats. Before, we just didn?t know that, and we didn?t have the technology with skin care that we have today.?

Is she right about society always noting a woman?s age but never a man?s age? I think she?s half-right ? society does make a point of always noting a woman?s age, but I?ve noticed that in the past five years or so, men have really begun to face the same kind of aging/beauty standards as women. We talk about men and aging more often, we note which men look good or bad for their age, what men are gaining or losing weight and which dudes have lost their pretty. Is that a good or bad thing? It?s a good thing if you?re like, ?Yeah, why shouldn?t men face the same kind of superficial standards women face?? It?s a bad thing if you?re like, ?Damn, why should anyone have to face those standards?? Glass half full/glass half empty.
Aniston has been doing these interviews because there?s a new commerical/infomercial for Aveeno which just debuted this weekend. As she says in the WWD interview, Aniston narrates it and I have to ask? is her voice always this nasal and stuffed-up sounding? She sounds like she has a sinus infection. Also: I think I?m obsessed with the way she says ?oat?. For real.

She's dealt with the downsides of fame for decades, and now Jennifer Aniston is opening up about the less-than-fun aspects of it in a new Associated Press interview.
Speaking about tabloids and paparazzi, she complains, "All that stuff, it's toxic. It never gets un-jarring, but you do have to not let it imprison you, which is possible too."
As for how she keeps herself grounded, the "Friends" star explains, "There?s times when you see people climbing and getting success and you start to see, oh, they?re starting to really change. So I always just make the effort to be as humble and grateful as possible."
Later, the 45-year-old actress shares, "You just have to work really hard to tune out the noise and the static. Because it gets louder, and people really have an opinion, and you don?t want to shy away from taking chances for fear of what people will say, or living in the wreckage of the future [of] what may be if I do this."
If you're wondering, Jennifer is quite aware of the speculation surrounding her and fiance Justin Theroux's relationship, as she notes, "It?s weird. I think because we are so normal. We?re very non-fabulous in any way. They try to create all sorts of narratives to go with a very normal, wonderful life that?s just two people loving each other and living life and working and doing the best they can.?
