Finally Jessica Simpson has left her house in something that doesn’t resemble a tarp you use to cover up an old car in the garage. Here she is the other day in a nice little coat letting us celebrity bloggers know that she’s not pregnant or putting on fifty pounds worth of chilly cheese fries.

Either Jessica Simpson isn?t pregnant, or she isn?t at all concerned about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Honestly, I wouldn?t put it past Jessica to not know what FAS was, so I?m still somewhat unconvinced that she is not with child. According to Page Six, Jessica and her fianc Eric boozed it up two nights ago after the Rockefeller Center tree lighting. You know what doesn?t get enough coverage? The idea that Jessica is a total boozehound. Don?t get me wrong, I like nothing more than pouring myself a stiff cocktail to watch NCIS (for real), but it seems like a lot of stories about Jessica revolve around her drinking. Todd at IDLITW often refers to Jessica as a barely functioning alcoholic - although he could just be writing that for comic effect (?).
Jessica Simpson put pregnancy rumors to bed once and for all by downing margaritas and tequila shots with new fianc Eric Johnson at Stanton Social after performing at the Rockefeller Center tree lighting on Tuesday. The singer took a table of 20 which included father Joe Simpson, her assistant and security guards.
A spy told us, “They were very well-mannered and drank basil lime gimlets, pineapple 75’s, Maker’s on the rocks, margaritas and wine. They ordered a lot of food. Jessica let her guard down enough to steal a few kisses from her fianc in front of papa Joe. Jessica, Eric and the crew settled on shots of Don Julio to finish out the evening.”

That sounds like an enormous amount of liquor, right? If I had a night like that at my age (I?m close to Jessica?s age), I wouldn?t be able to function for days, probably. We?re not in college anymore, you know?

Continuing their stay in the Big Apple, Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson were spotted leaving their hotel in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (December 1).
Both looking stylish in matching blue jackets and jeans, the recently engaged pair were greeted by an awaiting pack of paparazzi as they strolled out to an awaiting car.
The sighting comes after Jess partook in the Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony the previous night, during which time she was asked how the wedding planning is going.
To this, the ?Come On Over? songstress replied, ?We have not started any planning.?
"I'm trying to get through all this promotion," explained Miss Simpson. "I personally have no idea! I have not set a date and I can't even think about putting together table settings at the moment."

They recently became engaged to be married, but Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have not started planning their wedding.
On Tuesday night (November 30), the hot couple attended the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting party in New York City and, when asked how the planning is going, the ?Come On Over? songstress replied, ?We have not started any planning.?
"I'm trying to get through all this promotion," explained Miss Simpson, who's been crazy busy promoting her latest ?Happy Christmas? album.
"I personally have no idea! I have not set a date and I can't even think about putting together table settings at the moment," the blonde beauty added.

Last night, Jessica Simpson appeared on NBC?s coverage of the Rockefeller Center?s tree-lighting ceremony. I think Mariah Carey?s bit was pre-taped, but Jessica sang live (unless she lip-synced, always a possibility). Jessica also sang a duet with a young soldier? and she tried to diva him, even though I think the kid had a better voice:
I had forgotten how dumb Jessica looks when she sings. She makes the stupidest faces. Speaking of dumb, the pregnancy rumors keep on coming, despite Jessica’s denials. Jessica Simpson has a lot to be thankful for this year. So on Nov. 24, the day before Thanksgiving, Jessica and her fianc, Eric Johnson, brought their parents and close friends together for a celebratory evening at Coppola?s Italian restaurant in NYC, and Life & Style has all the details.
Toasting the couple?s Nov. 11 engagement with white wine, Jessica quickly charmed her future in-laws with stories of lost earrings and how Eric played doctor while she had the flu.
?She and Eric were very loving ? hugging, kissing and whispering in each other?s ears,? an eyewitness tells Life & Style. ?She also showed off her engagement ring. She even took it off at one point and handed it to Eric’s parents to look at.? Jessica and the group dined on a feast of grilled eggplant with marinara sauce, short ribs with homemade pappardelle, lobster with rigatoni in lobster sauce, homemade meatballs and sausage.
Though Jess has denied baby rumors, she?s already thinking about a newborn in the near future, saying, ?I definitely see myself having a family with Eric, so that?s exciting to think about!?
And her mother, Tina Simpson, is just as ecstatic about the prospect of more grandkids. ?Obviously I?m looking forward to having more grandkids!? Tina, grandma to daughter Ashlee Simpson-Wentz?s son, Bronx, told Life & Style after dinner. ?Bronx is the love of my life.? And whether a boy or girl, she?ll be thrilled. ?I?ll take anything I get,? Tina said. ?I?m not picky!?
The couple began dating only six short months ago, so it?s no surprise that their engagement may be even shorter. An insider tells Life & Style that the bride-to-be will be walking down the aisle very soon. ?It won?t be before Christmas, but it?ll definitely be before spring,? reveals the insider. ?January or February at the latest. They don?t want to waste any time.?

So? they?re not claiming that babies are actually happening right now, just that Jessica is going to be knocked up at some point in the near future. Good to know!

Lending her vocals to a very special occasion, Jessica Simpson was spotted singing at the 2010 Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting Ceremony last night (November 30).
The ?Come On Over? songstress, who was joined by fianc Eric Johnson, looked lovely as she took the stage at the Midtown Manhattan affair, sporting a black coat and gloves.
During her performance, Jessica gave a fabulous tribute to American troops overseas by singing ?I?ll Be Home for Christmas.?
And Ms. Simpson wasn?t the only diva in attendance - preggers superstar Mariah Carey also participated in the festivities.
