Checking out some of the local shops, Jessica Simpson was spotted out and about in Aspen, Colorado last night (December 28).
The ?With You? songstress was joined by her fiance Eric Johnson as she hit up the Fendi boutique with family and friends nearby.
Over the Christmas holiday, Jessica expressed her gratitude to be celebrating with her brother-in-law Pete Wentz, nephew Bronx, and her fiance Eric.
Simpson tweeted, ?We are lucky to have 3 new studs in the fam: Pete, BX, and EJ. Oh and I can?t forget Bentley [her dog]!!!!?

Poor Jessica Simpson! Poor, poor thing. She announces her engagement, simply hoping to steal Nick Lachey?s thunder, only to get her thunder stolen by Kate Middleton. And then Tony Romo! SOB. And now she even has to compete with Hugh Hefner and Natalie Portman and LeAnn Rimes? QUADRUPLE SOB. No one is ever going to pay attention to Jessica ever again! So Jessica took to Twitter to give thanks and well wishes to the ?3 new studs in the fam? - Pete Wentz, Bronx and Eric Johnson. Sigh? sure. Whatever.
Jessica Simpson spent Christmas with her family, including her groom-to-be Eric Johnson, and the singer-turned-designer wants everyone to know about it. “Eric is the perfect addition to our family!” she Tweeted.
RadarOnline.com has learned the family all gathered at Simpson’s parents’ Encino, CA home on Christmas Eve.
It was Johnson’s first Christmas with Simpson and her clan, and she tweeted that many more are ahead. “I’m so grateful this holiday season!!! I hope everyone had a magical Christmas! Love you X.”
She and Johnson became engaged in November, in the same week her ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement.
Simpson even spread the love around, acknowledging other family members. “We are lucky to have 3 new studs in the fam: Pete, BX, and EJ!” she tweeted, in reference to her sister Ashlee’s husband, her nephew Bronx, 2, and her fiance.
“Oh and I can’t forget Bentley!!!” she said, referring to her dog.

You know how I totally called the time frame for Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes announcing their engagement? Well, I?ve been wondering and theorizing that Jessica and Eric would marry on New Year?s Eve or New Year?s Day. I?m not feeling as ?this is definitely going to happen? as I was with LeAnn?s engagement, but I?m giving this a ?very solid possibility? as far as gossip goes. After all, Jessica and Eric officially got engaged on 11/11 - why not marry on 1/1/11? It could totally be on. We?ll see.

The ?With You? singer flashed her ruby and diamond engagement ring as she headed inside to meet up with her fianc Eric Johnson, father Joe Simpson, and some friends.

Jessica Simpson has quietly been making a huge success of her fashion label.
The 30-year-old, who launched her clothing label just three years ago, is set to break $1billion in sales next year. This year alone it made $750million in retail sales.
Jessica Simpson Jeans and the new sportswear line alone are expected to make $200 million in retail sales over the next two years.
Simpson personally has an estimated net worth of $100 million.
That’s net worth, not net weight. Although after seeing these pictures of her at the Macy’s Thanksgiving’s Day Parade, I can see how you might mix those two up.

Around here, we often refer to Jessica Simpson as dumb, or pathetic, or tragic. And she definitely has those qualities? sometimes. Other times, maybe not. Yesterday, Jessica and her fashion and business savvy made the cover of Women?s Wear Daily, where they referred to her as ?Fashion Billion Dollar Baby?. For real. Apparently, Jessica multiple fashion, jewelry and fragrance lines (including clothes, jeans, shoes, watches, etc) are selling like gangbusters - to the point where she?s actually breaking records. With a new fiance, a holiday album and news that she is on her way to becoming a billion-dollar mover and shaker in the fashion world, Jessica Simpson is on top of the world these days. “Things are going great for her right now,” says a source close to the singer. “She’s in a really good place now.”
Indeed, Simpson graced the cover of WWD on Dec. 6, with the headline, “Jessica Simpson: Fashion’s Billion Dollar Baby.”
The Jessica Simpson Collection, it turns out, has become one of the most successful celebrity fashion lines of all time, according to WWD. It will most likely become the first ever to earn more than a billion dollars in retail sales, considering her line brought in a whopping $750 million in retail sales this year alone, WWD reports.
Simpson’s estimated net worth from all the shoes, clothes and accessories she’s selling? A cool $100 million. Not bad for the gal who famously wondered if tuna was chicken on her hit MTV series ‘Newlyweds,’ with ex-hubby Nick Lachey.
“She is the girl next door and has great product that surrounds her,” Vince Camuto, the founder and CEO of Camuto Group, her brand’s master licensee, told WWD. “People like her. People look at her as a style icon.”
A style icon with plenty of high-wattage competition. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are launching an apparel and accessories collection, which will be distributed exclusively at Kohl’s this fall. Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes, launched the Material Girl collection at Macy’s earlier this year. Celebrities including Gwen Stefani, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Victoria Beckham also have their own lines.
The Camuto Group has licensing partnerships for 22 of Simpson’s product lines, including swimwear, dresses, outerwear, watches and fragrances, and recently licensed The Jones Group Inc. to create and distribute Simpson’s new sportswear line for next fall.
The success of her jeanswear collection, to which The Jones Group also has the license, has gone “beyond our expectations,” Jack Gross, CEO of Jeanswear for The Jones Group, told WWD. Jessica Simpson Sportswear and Jeanswear are expected to generate between $150 million and $200 million in retail sales within the next two years, he says.

Wow - I?m really impressed. Jessica may be dumb, and her father may have no idea how to successfully market his daughter as a celebrity, but they know enough to surround themselves with really smart business people. And to give credit where it?s due, I do think Jessica probably insists on quality - if she didn?t, the multiple lines would skim and cheap out, and the lines wouldn?t be as popular. Good for Jessica.

According to a report, the ?Dukes of Hazzard? actress has risen from the celebrity designer crowd and could be on her way to a $1 billion fashion designer.
CEO of Camuto Group Vince Camuto told press, ?She is the girl next door and has great product that surrounds her. People like her. People look at her as a style icon.?
According to Camuto, Simpson has sold over $750 million in retail receipts this year, and it could be even bigger in 2011.
?One thing I like about Jessica is she?s a celebrity, but she?s really a brand. Her celebrity has created a brand that is more sustainable than many others.?

You can tell, because Jessica looks toasty - and we know how she loves to get drunk. However, The Daily Mail reports that before they even went clubbing, Jessica at least had a big meal. Jessica took her VEGAN fianc to BOA Steakhouse. Um, I guess they have salads there?
Jessica Simpson’s fianc Eric Johnson took a firm grip on his lady as they took a stroll out for dinner last night in West Hollywood. The newly engaged couple laughed and smiled and seemed delighted to be together after enjoying a meal at BOA Steakhouse.
The restaurant was quite clearly Jessica’s choice, given her partner of seven months is a staunch vegan.
The 30-year-old singer looked casually chic in a monochrome outfit for her date night with her man. She wore a black and white chequered mini-skirt and paired it with a black blazer. Her black Louis Vuitton bag accessorised her outfit perfectly.
Promoting her new album Happy Christmas she said: ‘We have not started planning. I’m trying to get through all this promotion. Who knows what will happen? I personally have no idea. I have not set a date and I can’t even think about putting together like table settings and all that. We’re just going to enjoy the engagement and we’ll get married the moment we feel like it.’
However, the star revealed she hoped the marriage to the 31-year-old American footballer would take place within the next year.
‘By next Christmas, hopefully,’ she said. ‘We don’t have any plans but I’m pretty sure by next Christmas we’ll be married.’

Yeah, I think they?ll be married on or by New Year?s, so what do I know? I don?t think this ?whirlwind? romance is going to have an extended engagement. As far as the whole vegan thing, jointly with the steakhouse thing? I honestly don?t think Jessica understands what ?vegan? is. Eric probably told her that he couldn?t eat turkey because he?s vegan and Jessica is like ?Oh, but he can eat steak, right??

But I thought there was something to it - and Jessica just confirmed the 11/11 connection in an interview the other day, telling a radio interviewer: ?We were at my house and he wanted to do it at 11:11 a.m. on 11/11 because 11 is very significant to us.? I totally think this could happen. I?ve been thinking for ever since they got engaged that Jessica would find a way to rush down the aisle. Lainey theorized that Jessica would wait until Nick Lachey announced his wedding date - but I think Jessica will want to be ?the first? down the aisle, before Nick. Plus, Nick and Vanessa seem to be doing an old-fashioned long engagement, and the whole 1/1/11 thing is too good to pass up. I mean, who really thinks Jessica would wait until 11/11/11? Not me.

Either Jessica Simpson isn?t pregnant, or she isn?t at all concerned about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Honestly, I wouldn?t put it past Jessica to not know what FAS was, so I?m still somewhat unconvinced that she is not with child. According to Page Six, Jessica and her fianc Eric boozed it up two nights ago after the Rockefeller Center tree lighting. You know what doesn?t get enough coverage? The idea that Jessica is a total boozehound. Don?t get me wrong, I like nothing more than pouring myself a stiff cocktail to watch NCIS (for real), but it seems like a lot of stories about Jessica revolve around her drinking. Todd at IDLITW often refers to Jessica as a barely functioning alcoholic - although he could just be writing that for comic effect (?).
Jessica Simpson put pregnancy rumors to bed once and for all by downing margaritas and tequila shots with new fianc Eric Johnson at Stanton Social after performing at the Rockefeller Center tree lighting on Tuesday. The singer took a table of 20 which included father Joe Simpson, her assistant and security guards.
A spy told us, “They were very well-mannered and drank basil lime gimlets, pineapple 75’s, Maker’s on the rocks, margaritas and wine. They ordered a lot of food.
