She’s been receiving all kinds of criticism for going overboard with plastic surgery, but Heidi Montag says her mom’s reaction was the hardest to handle.
The “Hills” babe traveled to Crested Butte, Colorado to see Darlene Egelhoff and show her the 10 procedures she’d undergone, only to find that her mother was disgusted with the results.
Heidi explained, “I was nervous, but also excited … I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did.”
“She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. It wasn’t like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak. I think she was most upset that Spencer was there for me and she wasn’t. She was saying how sad it is that my confidence is gone because of the music industry I’m trying to get into.”
Ms. Montag added, “I tried to leave it as best as I could, but my heart was breaking.”

Some people get their mom flowers for Mother’s Day, others buy jewelry. But Heidi Montag is getting her mom plastic surgery.
The “Hills” babe told press she plans on giving her mom Darlene Egelhoff a “mommy makeover” including some time under the knife.
Ms. Montag told press, “Actually, she was excited for me and she’s asking me ... for her surgery next. So for Mother’s Day, I have to ask [surgeon] Dr. Frank Ryan if he’ll do the mommy makeover.”
Interestingly enough, Heidi claimed earlier to be broke from spending $2 million on her Superficial album that has completely bombed (less than 1000 copies sold) so where’s she coming up with the dough for her mom’s gift?

With the release of her new album and a new cover story in People magazine, Heidi Montag is getting all kinds of attention.
But with reports about excessive plastic surgery procedures swirling around gossip land, she’s afraid people are getting the wrong idea about her.
Retracting her previous statement about being “beyond obsessed” with plastic surgery, Heidi explained, “I would say that none of those people know me at all, and that’s just a judgment. I’m not addicted. If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries.”
Montag continued, “I think I look like myself. I think I just look like a different, improved version of myself. I’m living in my skin. And I look in the mirror and it’s my career and my life, and you only have one. So, I want to take advantage of everything and be the best me, in and out, every way.”

Heidi Montag admitted to People magazine that she is ?obsessed? with plastic surgery, and plans to go get more work done in the future. ?For the past three years, I?ve thought about what to have done. I?m beyond obsessed,? she said. This obsession led her to undergo 10 surgeries in one day: brow lift, Botox in the forehead, nose job revision, fat injections in her cheeks and lips, chin reduction, neck liposuction, ears pinned back, breast augmentation revision, liposuction in her waist and thighs and buttocks augmentation. The long list will expand with future surgeries. Montag defends her choice under public criticism, saying, ?I?m the one living in my skin.? ?It?s my body, I need to feel comfortable as a woman and as a person,? she said.

She’s always stirring up drama, and yesterday (January 13) Heidi Montag ended up with the LAPD knocking on her door.
The “Hills” chick walked into her house with a scarf over her face, causing a neighbor to call the police for fear of a possible kidnapping.
One of her employees was briefly detained before Heidi revealed that everything was okay. “We’re grateful this was only a false alarm and I just had my Pink Hermes scarf over me,” Montag explained.
“A neighbor was concerned and called the police. We’re thankful to the LAPD for their response and making sure we were safe.”

Cops were called to Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s house after a neighbor allegedly reported a kidnapping, and the result was a mini-circus complete with circling helicopters, loudspeakers, and a guy escorted out and cuffed. It turns out that the guy was Heidi’s assistant and that he was suspected of kidnapping her after leading her out of the car with a pillowcase over her head. Heidi was either trying to limit photos of herself following her coveted “addicted to plastic surgery” People cover, or trying to hide recent evidence of said plastic surgery addiction. The whole thing - Heidi in a pillow case and the cops swarming the house - screams “publicity stunt.” Can Heidi and Spencer be charged for wasting taxpayer money a la Balloon Boy’s family?
On Wednesday afternoon (January 13), police arrived at “Hills” stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s home after receiving a call about an attempted kidnapping. TMZ initially reported that a 911 call was placed by a neighbor who said that someone was trying to kidnap Montag.
According to reports, a man who allegedly works for Pratt had been arrested after police stormed the house. The suspect has now been released and Montag said in a statement to People magazine that the whole incident was a misunderstanding. TMZ added that no crime had been committed and that the man who had been briefly detained by authorities did eventually make his way back into the Pratts’ residence.
According to Montag, she was making her way into her home and the sight of her face covered with a scarf prompted a neighbor to call 911 thinking she was in danger. The misunderstanding was quickly cleared up.

Of course Heidi had to name drop the designer of her scarf. She’s ridiculous. Again, I’m thinking “publicity stunt,” “they called the cops themselves,” etc. It’s all too conveniently timed to promote Heidi’s People cover. Let’s hope that once the circulation numbers come back People will realize that featuring annoying reality stars on the cover doesn’t sell enough copies to justify the paper they’re printed on.

What the hell is going on with People Magazine? The editors seem to be at a loss for what is considered ?newsworthy? in entertainment. After last week?s cover of Kate Gosselin?s ?starting over? budget weave, I didn?t think it could get any worse. But I had no idea. This week we have Heidi Montag: ?Addicted to Plastic Surgery?. People put up a little cover story teaser too, in which Heidi admits to having ten surgerical procedures done? in one day!

Thankfully, it looks like she?s changed the album cover - which previously was one of the most unflattering pictures of her ever, and made her look like a donkey. The new cover is a lot darker and shadowy, thank God. But she still looks like a donkey:
