During a break from filming, the ?Say Goodbye? gal looked cute in tall boots, red pants and a jacket as she and her ?Smash? co-star Wesley Taylor chatted away while her little dog relieved herself.

Its premiere is less than two weeks away, and the pilot episode for NBC?s highly-anticipated ?Smash? has hit the web.
Starring ?American Idol? alum Katharine McPhee, the much-talked-about musical series is produced by iconic director Steven Spielberg.
The show surrounds McPhee?s character, Karen Cartwright, who is trying to live her dream of becoming an actress in New York City.
With A-listers like Debra Messing and Anjelica Huston included in the cast and Spielberg at the helm, the series certainly has a shot at prime-time success.

Looking picture perfect for the red carpet festivities, Katharine McPhee turned up for the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 15).
Taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "American Idol" alum was in her usual cheerful mood while working the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky Hollywood fete.
Not just a mere spectator, Miss McPhee happens to have the important task of announcing one of the night's esteemed winners while doting the triumphant nominee with their trophy.
Top contenders this time around include "The Artist" with six bids for glory while "The Help" and "The Descendants" follow closely behind with five apiece.
As for the ceremony, Ricky Gervais is the host of the Golden Globe Awards - which air live on NBC beginning at 8PM ET/PT.

Her incredible vocals were first recognized on ?American Idol? back in 2006, and now Katharine McPhee will be starring in the upcoming musical drama called ?Smash.?
Earlier today (November 28), a promo trailer for the NBC show debuted online which features the ?Over It? songstress belting out Christina Aguilera?s ?Beautiful.?
In the clip, McPhee?s character is shown taking off for New York City and pursuing her dream of being a singer.
The series, which premieres in February, also stars ?Will & Grace? star Debra Messing and ?Ever After? actress Anjelica Huston.

Meeting up for a swanky Royal Bank of Canada hosted soiree, Katharine McPhee and Brittany Snow were on hand for Expedition Blue Planet's "A Night with Alexandra Cousteau" reception in Orange County on Monday night (July 26).
Held at the Revo headquarters, the "American Idol" alum and her "Hairspray" actress gal pal sipped on Blue Planetini cocktails before joining Alexandra as she showed a sneak peek of the first short film from her 2010 Expedition Blue Planet tour.
During their time posing for pictures, Brittany chatted with Katherine about topics such as fashion, saying, ?My shoes are Steve Madden. They?re like $40 but so comfortable. I love them! I have them in every color!?
Meanwhile, Miss McPhee seemed inspired by the short film - as she congratulated Miss Cousteau and thanked her for the chance to view the film.
