Continuing to show off her toned bod, Katharine McPhee arrived at 2014 Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA on Thursday (July 24).
The ?Smash? beauty rocked a floral crop top ensemble as she posed for the press before heading inside for the panel and screening of her new CBS drama ?Scorpion.?
McPhee and her co-stars Elyes Gabel and Robert Patrick enjoyed the screening of the pilot before chatting with fans and media about the show.
?Scorpion? premieres September 22 and follows the real life story of Walter O'Brien, an unusual genius holding one of the world's highest I.Q.s.

Here is Katharine McPhee advertising on the beach in Cabo this weekend … showing off her tan-lined body less than two weeks after pulling the plug on her marriage.
She relaxed and soaked in the sun while displaying her toned and fit body. McPhee rocked a copper-colored bikini, which she wore with Clubmaster sunglasses.
“After six years of marriage, and having been separated for the past year, Katharine McPhee has filed for a dissolution of marriage from Nick Cokas,” her rep told Us in a statement. “The two have an amicable relationship and will remain friends. They ask that people respect their privacy during this time.”

I kind of wondered if you guys were even still interested in this story, but I got some requests for some updated coverage, so here you go. Last fall, Katharine McPhee was photographed kissing a man who was not her husband. The man was Mary McCormack?s husband Michael Morris and it was pretty obvious that they were having an affair. Michael returned to Mary and Katharine announced that she and her husband were separated and that she was super-embarrassed that she was caught. Honestly, Katharine seemed like she was sort of pleased with the attention and she didn?t really act like she was upset with the idea that Mary and Michael?s marriage was now hanging by a thread.
Skip ahead four months and Us Weekly recently announced that Katharine and her husband Nick Cokas are now giving it another go. A ?source? (named Katharine McPhee) told Us Weekly, ?Katharine and Nick are working on their marriage.? They?ve been photographed out and about together several times too. Reportedly, Mary McCormack and Michael have reconciled too, after she briefly kicked him out.
And now everything?s coming up homewrecker, because McPhee has just signed on to be the lead in a CBS pilot:
Katharine McPhee is returning to the small screen. The Smash and American Idol alum has booked the female lead in CBS’ genius drama pilot Scorpion, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Based on the life of Walter O’Brien, the drama revolves around Walter (Body of Proof’s Elyes Gabel), an eccentric genius, and his international network of super-geniuses who form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age.
McPhee will play Paige, a working-class hero and diner waitress who understands geniuses who becomes a nanny of sorts and a translator for Walter’s super-team of socially misunderstood masterminds.
For McPhee, the casting marks her return to series television following her two-season co-starring role on NBC’s Broadway drama Smash. The American Idol runner-up also has feature Depravity in the works. She’s repped by WME and the Schiff Co?McPhee joins a cast that also includes Robert Patrick and Eddie Kaye Thomas.

So, did Katharine score a lead role in a network drama just based off of her Smash skills? Or is this yet another example of Hollywood rewarding the worst people who misbehave? I find it really strange that Katharine McPhee is somehow qualified to star in a network drama. And I think this whole thing is fishy as hell.

Refusing to let holiday tradition get in the way of her work, Katharine McPhee shot scenes on the set of "In My Dreams" in Vancouver, Canada on Thanksgiving Day (November 28).
Combating the cold with a khaki overcoat, the "Smash" starlet wore a sexy stylized sun dress, holding a bouquet of flowers, and completing her look with a pair of brown high tops.
Although very little is known about the synopsis for "In My Dreams," the flick comes out in 2014, and the 29-year-old American actress plays the lead female role of Natalie Russo.

It was WEEKS ago when TMZ got photos of married Katharine McPhee making out with married Michael Morris. Katharine later claimed that she and her husband were separated, but as for Michael?s marriage to Mary McCormack? well, the initial word was that Mary kicked him out of the house, although lately it does seem like they?ve been trying to work it out. What bothered me (and what I?m sure bothered Mary) was the over-familiarity of Katharine and Michael?s make-out session in public. It made me wonder just how long their affair has been happening.
Unfortunately, we couldn?t even ask those questions because Katharine was acting like this affair was the worst thing that ever happened to her, and by ?worst? I mean ?she was so happy that people were paying attention to her.? Katharine went Full LeAnn, getting ?sources? to drop quotes to People and Us Weekly about how Katharine was ?so embarrassed? and how she felt like the victim. Meanwhile, Michael Morris seemed to drop her completely and he was working on his marriage. So, how do you read this move by Katharine?
It’s been a rough fall for Katharine McPhee. On Oct. 22, the former American Idol finalist was caught in a lip-lock with Michael Morris, who directed her in the now-canceled NBC musical series Smash ? even though both were married to other people.
Now, a McPhee source tells PEOPLE, “Katharine is no longer seeing Michael ? at least for now.”
In fact, the actress’ marriage to Nick Cokas, her husband since 2009, is still in a state of limbo. Despite the fact that McPhee and Cokas have been separated for months, “Katharine still has no plans to move forward with divorce at the moment, though they are not living together,” adds the source.
Meanwhile Morris’s wife, former In Plain Sight star Mary McCormack, prefers to keep her focus on her daughters ? Lillian, 2, Rose, 6, and Margaret, 9.
“Mary is a strong woman,” a second source tells PEOPLE. “Her dedication to her children will remain her focus and gift.?
Amid all the uncertainty, one thing is true, says the McPhee source: “This is an incredibly hard time for Katharine.”

I?ve sort of been joking about Katharine being like LeAnn Rimes, but seriously, this is straight out of The LeAnn Playbook. This is aimed straight at Mary McCormack ? like, McPhee is saying, ?I could get your man but I choose not to? RIGHT NOW.? As for Katharine still thinking that she?s the victim in this mess? Michael and Mary have children. Enough. Katharine needs to see a shrink.

We can debate about who is more ?wrong? in the increasingly gross situation involving Katharine McPhee and her married director, Michael Morris. But can we agree that Katharine McPhee is not a victim whatsoever in this situation? Even if she and her husband were separated months ago (which is what she keeps claiming), that doesn?t mean that she has the right to play the victim in the press after she was caught making out with Michael Morris, who is married to Mary McCormack.
In fact, this entire catastrophe is making me wonder if Katharine doesn?t need a new publicist, because she?s handled this situation incorrectly from the beginning. First off, if you?re banging a married man, don?t make out with him in public. Secondly, if you get caught making out with him, STFU. Go dark. You can issue a sincere and general apology at the beginning, but the most important thing is to STFU and don?t put out any stories in which you try to tell your ?side? of things. You just need to ride out the drama in silence. But Katharine (and her publicist) keep leaking stories about how ?embarrassed? Katharine is (that she was ?caught?) and ?she should have known better.? And now her publicist leaked this story to People:
Ever since photos of her kissing married Smash director Michael Morris hit the Internet, things have been difficult for Katharine McPhee.
“This is a very hard time for her,” a pal of the actress tells PEOPLE. “She’s very upset.”
Morris has three children with his wife, Welcome to the Family actress Mary McCormack. And McPhee has been separated from her husband Nick Cokas for six months.
Now that the news of her relationship has been made public, the former American Idol sweetheart appears to be at a crossroads.
“Katharine cares about Michael,” the pal adds. “But she still cares about Nick too. She didn’t mean for anyone to be hurt.”

They have three kids together. Katharine is married to a 47-year-old producer and they don?t have any kids. WTF is going on?
Katharine McPhee is dating her former “Smash” director Michael Morris, TMZ has learned … and they’re even making out in public — problem is, THEY’RE BOTH MARRIED TO OTHER PEOPLE.
Morris is married to actress Mary McCormack (who played Howard Stern’s wife in “Private Parts”) … and they have 3 young daughters together, ages 2, 6 and 9.
29-year-old Katharine is married to 47-year-old producer Nick Cokas — they have no children.
Sources close to Katharine and Nick tell TMZ … the two have been separated for 6 months and are living apart. They were married in 2008.
It’s unclear where Michael’s relationship with Mary stands — but it seems it’s also on the ropes, because over the weekend he was sucking face with Katharine in broad daylight in L.A. like he didn’t care who saw.
The two weren’t shy with the PDA either — holding hands and cuddling each other in Hollywood.
So far, no official comment from any of the parties involved.

What?s weird is that if you look at TMZ?s photos, it doesn?t seem like Katharine and Michael feel they have anything to hide. So maybe they?re flaunting their relationship, or trying to drum up some media hits or something. I don?t know. I don?t know how to read this. Other than shouting ?homewreckers!? at them, of course.

The "Smash" star chose a simple black halter-top bikini as she sipped on a cool drink and floated on an inflatable swan in the pool.
Stoked for the fun, on Tuesday she tweeted, "I can't wait for #coachella2013 this coming weekend. Whose going to be there??"
Recently, the 29-year-old "American Idol" alum turned heads when she chopped her long locks to a chin-length cute cut.

Taking care of some promotional appearances, Katharine McPhee showed up in New York City this morning (February 5).
The ?American Idol? alum strolled over to the ?Live with Kelly and Michael? studios to plug her television show ?Smash,? now in its second season.
Earlier during her interview on ?Today,? Katharine declared that the program is upping the ante this time around, including more craziness for her character Karen.
Ms. McPhee explained, "This season, season two, it's really exciting to see (Karen) take some initiative. She's now Marilyn (Monroe in the production,) she's going to -- hopefully -- go to Broadway, and she's finding another opportunity to start another show on the side."
So what can fans expect from Season Two? "No more drama! And when I say no more drama, I mean lots of drama!"
