Eva Mendes is pregnant. We can say that for sure now, although I think it?s slightly weird that Ryan and Eva haven?t legit confirmed it to any outlet directly. Instead, ?sources? have confirmed the pregnancy to nearly every magazine, gossip show and even Ellen DeGeneres. Since the news broke, Ryan has not been seen or photographed. But Eva was spotted a days ago, I guess trying to get into her car ? you can see the photo here at TMZ. She?s carrying what appears to be a large wrap, a big tote bag and a beach blanket in front of her mid-section. I guess she knew she was being photographed. This whole thing is so bizarre. Anyway, People Mag got another weird confirmation via a ?source?.
Hey, girl! Or, boy! While there’s no word yet on the sex of the baby Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are expecting this October, a source tells PEOPLE the couple are over the moon with happiness.
“They literally could not be more excited,” says the source. “She’s feeling great.”
This will be the first child for Gosling, 33, and Mendes, 40, who began dating in 2011 and, the following year, played parents in the dramatic film The Place Beyond the Pines.
[From People]
Correct use of ?literally?? Doubtful. While I think they are excited and maybe even thrilled, I do not believe that this is LITERALLY the most excited they?ve ever been in their lives. Literally, I think it?s strange that the whole thing has been so undercover because Eva literally loved the attention she got from dating Ryan and she literally would get pap?d several times a week in 2012 and 2013. Something is literally fishy about this.

I’m sorry I didn’t get to this sooner but I didn’t believe the first reports and I thought it could wait until tomorrow. Not so much. First, let me say this: Eva Mendes has been relatively quiet this year. I mean, she?s done some stuff, months ago, but the tri-weekly pap shots have stopped and we haven?t seen Eva and Ryan Gosling together in a while. People Mag even idly wondered back in May if they had already broken up or were close to breaking up. Ryan promoted Lost River in Cannes without Eva, which was weird because she?s actually IN the movie. So, I was expecting more breakup rumors. Instead we get lots of pregnancy rumors
Women of the world who dream of having Ryan Gosling?s baby: Eva Mendes has beat you to the punch! Star can reveal that the Hitch actress confirmed the news to friends that she?s seven months pregnant with her boyfriend?s child.
Despite recent rumors of a breakup, things are going better than ever for the couple of three years. In fact, thanks to the baby news, the relationship has found a new sense of direction, with Eva finally secure in Ryan?s commitment ? and even talking marriage!
Throughout her pregnancy, the 40-year-old has been in hiding at her home?but she?s not alone. ?Ryan has been by Eva?s side night and day since she found out the happy news,? the insider says. ?He?s so amazingly considerate and thoughtful, always taking care of Eva. It?s like he?s already a doting daddy! No one would be surprised if they got married before the baby is even born.?
[From Star Magazine]
I was going to make a big deal about how OK Magazine was the first to report this and how OK is never right… but then Us Weekly “confirmed” it. According to Us Weekly, “An insider confirmed the news after rumors surfaced earlier on Wednesday, July 9, that the Hitch actress is seven months pregnant.” Ah, so that is why Eva has gone so far underground lately, it?s because she?s hiding a bump. SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT. Damn. Way to keep a secret, y’all.

| Ryan Gosling vs. Matt Smith: who looked hotter at the Cannes photocall? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from today?s Cannes photocall for Lost River, which is the film Ryan Gosling directed last year. Lost River stars Christina Hendricks and Matt Smith (Doctor Who). I don?t have much to say about this stuff, other than they all look really nice, don?t they? Christina looks beautiful, even though that top makes her look pregnant. Ryan Gosling and Matt Smith look handsome and lovely. The Cannes sunlight just makes everyone glow. I know so many of you are really, really into Matt Smith, but we rarely have photos of him, so enjoy. I think he looks so much better with hair -he shaved his head for this film, and he’s been growing it back ever since.
You know Eva Mendes is in this too? He directed his girlfriend. I wonder where she is? Did she come to Cannes? I haven?t seen any photos of her, and he arrived in France alone. Huh. I mean, if you tell me that they?re still together, sure, I?ll believe you. But I do think they?re really weird about their relationship.
A clip from Lost River has come out this week. This movie looks? bizarre. Like, forced bizarre. Trying too hard to be avant-garde and weird.

He prefers to fly beneath the radar most of the time, but Ryan Gosling showed up at LAX International Airport on Sunday afternoon (May 18).
The handsome ?Lars and the Real Girl? hunk ignited some serious excitement among fans inside the terminal as he scurried to his gate while wearing a blue button-up short sleeve shirt with blue trousers.
Mr. Gosling was likely catching a flight to the South of France to attend the 67th Annual Cannes International Film Festival, now going on.
Ryan?s latest flick ?The Lost River? is one of the season?s most anticipated movies, also starring Matt Smith, Christina Hendricks, Eva Mendes and Saoirse Ronan.

| Eva Mendes & Ryan Gosling decided to 'take a break' to 'reevaluate their romance' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Even though the tabloids spent a lot of ink trying to make Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling into some kind of tabloid-y couple, it never really stuck. Ryan succeeded in taking a step back from the limelight, working on smaller projects and his directorial debut and being out of the country for most of 2013. Meanwhile, Eva has definitely been keeping it more low-key. She hasn?t been getting pap?d on a daily or weekly basis and? it?s not like she works that much or on big projects that get lots of attention. So, in the absence of gossip, did something actually happen between them? As in, are they over?
Superstar couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are taking a break in their relationship after it was decided they were moving too fast, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The 2 Fast 2 Furious actress and The Notebook hunk haven?t officially split, but, ?there was a realization before Thanksgiving that they took things way too fast and were rushing toward a marriage that neither of them particularly needed,? a source told Radar.
?They?ve decided to take a break to reevaluate their romance.?
Still, according to the source, Gosling, 33, is the one who is undecided, but ?Eva wanted to have his babies.?
The movie beauty, 39, has been Gosling?s girlfriend for more than two years. The source tells Radar that Gosling has been laying low because he?s coming off a flop movie, Only God Forgives, but he has big things planned for 2014, including the release of his directorial effort, How to Catch a Monster, co-starring Mendes.
?The real question is how Eva is going to figure into Ryan?s plans,? the source noted.
As Radar previously reported, sources told the U.K. tabloid Now magazine that Mendes was upset with Gosling early in 2013 when his ex-girlfriend, Rachel McAdams, called him for comfort after her split from Michael Sheen.
?They both know they need some kind of resolution in their relationship before they go out and promote their movie, in which Ryan directed Eva in a very big part,? the source explained. ?At the end of the day they are both so uncertain about their future.?
Still, they might be pulled back together.
?Don?t be surprised if these two resurface together for New Year?s,? the source concluded.
[From Radar]
I?ve seen some stories that were basically like ?Ryan wanted a traditional path, marriage then babies, etc.? And those people were like ?Eva didn?t want to get married but she was all for having Ryan?s baby.? I?m not sure I believe that though. Eva has always seemed kind of anti-marriage, but you would think? hey, she?s with Ryan Gosling, and if Gosling wanted to get married, she probably would have done it. But maybe not. That being said, I don?t believe the Rachel McAdams part of the story.

Neal Brennan was on The Pete Holmes show where he talked about being Ryan Gosling’s landlord. Turns out that while he really is as dreamy as they say, he’s a horrible renter.
Brennan, who sublet his place to Gosling, says at the time, Gosling was dating… someone. The name escaped him.The couple bought two junk bikes, probably worth around $20 each, to ride around in. When Gosling moved out, he left the bikes there like he was doing Brennan a favor when in fact he was just making the guy clean up his trash.
But as Brennan recounts, Gosling is as he seems. Going inside he found books of poetry and candles everywhere.
Aww, no one can stay mad at you, Ryan Gosling. What a sensitive soul. Gentle bro hug. Shh, no, that’s not my hand on your ass.

The lower-grade tabloids (In Touch, The Enquirer, Star) love to talk about all of the drama in Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes? relationship, but it?s rare that Us Weekly or People Magazine have much to say about it. The tabloids have been claiming for months that there?s trouble in Hey Girl paradise, and I think the legit outlets didn?t know what to say because Ryan has been largely MIA from everything for the better part of a year, year and a half. He directed his first movie (How to Catch a Monster) and I guess he?s still in post-production or something. He?s also been in Iceland, I believe, and Eva has been to visit him a few times. But now Us Weekly is saying that something has changed between them:
Back on the market soon? They went public at the Happiest Place on Earth, but after two years as a couple, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are in a decidedly unhappy place, sources tell Us Weekly.
One insider reveals that the duo broke up briefly six months ago and adds that the relationship has remained rocky ever since. “He can be moody, and she’s insecure,” explains a source close to Gosling, 32. “She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he’s talking to other girls.”
Pals have noticed a shift in the actress, 39, who in July gushed to them about visiting her man in Iceland, where he was working on How to Catch a Monster. Now, “she shuts down anyone who brings up Ryan,” says a friend. “It’s clear something is wrong.”
Though a rep for Mendes denies any trouble, the Gosling source believes the end is near: “I wouldn’t be surprised if they split for good soon.”
[From Us Weekly]
Quite honestly, as much as all the little Hey Girls like to dream that Ryan is the most perfect boyfriend ever, I bet he?s actually a difficult man to get close to. He just seems like he?s really closed off, and maybe he could be sort of controlling or judgmental. Maybe I?m projecting, but it?s just a vibe I get. Now, that being said, I bet Eva isn?t the best relationship person either, although I do think she?s worked extra hard to keep this relationship afloat. I do see it that way ? that she?s the one making all of the concessions just so they can stay together. So, will it last? Eh. Who knows? The only thought I have is that it will be really awkward if they break up before How to Catch a Monster comes out.

Latino Review reports that Disney is looking to make aStar Wars: Episode VII which takes place 30 years afterEpisode VI: Return of the Jedi. The studio is rumored to be looking at two stars to play major roles. Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron.
As for what role Efron would be playing, we don?t know. He could be a Solo kid. But what I was told for sure is the Gosling went in for Skywalker?s son. Yes, that?s right Luke?s kid.
So Luke’s kid and Solo’s kid walk into a bar. One of them says, “Hey, girl,” and the other one breaks into a high school musical.Episode VII practically writes itself.

| Hey, Girl: Ryan Gosling wants you to care about pregnant lady pigs in small cages | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Hey Girl. Ryan Gosling wants you to care about pigs. Especially lady pigs. Don?t get jealous, girl. Ryan?s interest in lady pigs (Ryan knows they?re called ?sows? but to him, every sow is a lady) is purely humanitarian. Ryan wrote a lovely, anthropomorphizing essay/column in yesterday?s Globe & Mail called ?A Tiny Cage Is Not A Life?. I imagine that at one point, Ryan wrote a poem with that title and it was about you, girl, and how you put his heart in a tiny cage and how he knows why the caged bird sings. For you, girl. In all honesty, this is a sweet/nice thing to do, and he actually is trying to do something to protect the pigs. Here?s Ryan?s column:
I take my beloved dog George with me almost everywhere I go. Once, George even shared the stage with me on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The bond I have with George is not unique. Like me, countless Canadians share their homes and lives with pets they consider to be part of the family. We know that they have individual personalities and quirks (George loves apples, for example) and that they feel both physical and mental pain.
Our pets share these traits with other animals; including those we don?t share our lives with, such as farm animals. As primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall has noted, ?Farm animals feel pleasure and sadness, excitement and resentment, depression, fear and pain. They are far more aware and intelligent than we ever imagined ? they are individuals in their own right.?
Pigs, specifically, outperform even chimpanzees on some tests of cognitive prowess. So of course these animals also deserve our care and attention. That?s why I was so heartened to learn that Canada is taking steps toward improving the treatment of animals in the food supply.
Specifically, Canada?s National Farm Animal Care Council, which sets regulations for Canada?s agricultural system when it comes to how animals are treated, recently released a draft code of practice for the pork industry to follow. Within this draft code is a mandate that the pork industry stop relegating, for nearly their entire lives, mother pigs to tiny cages so small they can?t even turn around.
Currently, mother pigs are kept in these cages called ?gestation crates? for four months while pregnant, moved to another cage to give birth, reimpregnated and put back into a gestation crate for the cycle to repeat. It adds up to years of immobilization and millions of smart, inquisitive animals relegated to iron maidens.
The process has been criticized by veterinarians, animal protection advocates, consumers and even major food retailers as inhumane and unnecessary. Tim Hortons, for example, announced recently that it is working ? alongside 60 other major food companies ? to eliminate these cages from their supply chain entirely.
While NFACC?s progress is important and laudable, there is a major loophole in the code that I hope will be closed. As written, the draft still allows the pork industry to lock pigs in gestation crates for up to five weeks at a time. Over a pig?s short life, which is just four years long, this amounts to about nine months of solitary confinement in a cage so small she can?t even turn her own body around.
Pigs in tiny crates suffer beyond anything most of us can easily imagine. They are unable even to turn around for weeks at a time, so that their muscles and bones deteriorate. And these extremely social and intelligent animals lose their minds from being denied any social or psychological stimulation at all.
I applaud NFACC for working to improve life for Canada?s pigs, and I join Farm Sanctuary and Humane Society International in asking that it close this dangerous loophole by prohibiting the pork industry from confining pigs for weeks at a time ? something I would never dream of doing to George, and that no compassionate Canadian would ever do to any animal.
[From The Globe & Mail]
Ugh, so sad. You know I?ve always wanted a pig, right? They are really smart animals, and they?re incredibly cute (to me, at least). I?ve been known to spend hours on the computer, looking at photos of ?teacup piglets? and such. I even think my dog looks sort of like a pig too. Anyway, I like that Ryan?s essay has a real mission and it?s not just some ?woe are the pigs, we should all feel terrible? guilt trip. His mission is to end the loophole which allows pregnant pigs to be crated. Good for him. I hope it makes a difference. I hope the Canadian Hey Girls support his mission.
Here?s the piglet that I want:

| Eva Mendes, 39, 'told Ryan Gosling that she wants to be engaged by 40' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Yesterday, LaineyGossip had a good ?Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are still together? update ? go here to see. Apparently, Ryan has wrapped on his directorial debut, How To Catch a Monster, and Eva and Ryan are still hanging out in Detroit (where the movie was filmed), and some fans got some sneaky photos of them together. So, Ryan and Eva have been together for two years, which is a lot longer than I thought it would last. I also didn?t expect them to spend the last year together, with so little drama. There have been no pregnancy announcement, no engagement announcements, no elopements, no major fights (that were made public), no drama for the haters to cling to. It?s almost like they?re a solid couple in a serious relationship, and like they?re taking their time. WTH? Well, the tabloids keep trying to make something happen, so this week Star Mag says that Eva gave Ryan an engagement ?ultimatum? but that he was already planning on proposing anyway.
Ryan Gosling may be busy directing How to Catch a Monster, but his girlfriend Eva Mendes is busy playing How To Catch a Husband! Since giving Ryan, 32, an ultimatum shortly after her 39th birthday in March, Eva could finally get her wish.
?Eva told Ryan that she wants to be engaged by the time she?s 40,? dishes a close pal. ?But Ryan was already planning a proposal. He?s been in secret talks with ring designer Neil Lane.?
And while Eva was making commitment demands, Ryan planned a romantic getaway for the two once their film wraps.
?Ryan tricked her into believing the trip is to celebrate the movie,? continues the source. ?Eva is completely clueless.?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
Completely clueless? unless she reads Star! Completely clueless? unless she was the one to leak this story. Whether or not any part of this story is true, I have no idea. But what I?d like to talk about is the ?plan? or the ?ultimatum?. I really am curious ? does this kind of ultimatum work on men? Because I think that for most women, this kind of ultimatum would backfire. It would only work on a man if he already adored you and wanted to marry you and just needed that final ?push?. And even then, I don?t think those men would appreciate an engagement ultimatum.
