It's no secret that their separation wasn't the most congenial matter, but Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have respectfully put their differences aside for the sake of their children.
The former husband and wife met up in New York City over the weekend, with Denise taking a private jet into town on Saturday with daughters Sam and Lola before Sheen turned up at the hotel later in the evening.
On Sunday (October 24),Sheen and Richards stepped out with their adorable girls for a shopping spree at the American Girl Place store.
Previously talking with Extra about the importance of being civil for their children, Denise said, "It's so important to anyone going through a divorce to put that stuff aside. Definitely our girls benefit from that."

Now that she’s embarking on a new career as an author, Denise Richards finally ditched her signature overprocessed blonde for a darker hue. I don’t know if it quite does the trick, though. That hair doesn’t so much say “best-selling author” as it does “Lifetime Original Movie co-starring Yasmine Bleeth and Nicole Eggert.” “I Do (But I Don’t) 2: With a Vengeance,” anyone?

Doing her best to keep cool in the west coast heat, Denise Richards showed off her hot beach body in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday (September 30).
The former wife of Charlie Sheen donned a skimpy black bikini as she hopped in the pool for a refreshing dip in the chilly waters.
After her pool play, Miss Richards headed into the homefront to mix up a tasty smoothie to quench her midday thirst.
The day's doings come just as gossipers have been speculating that Denise has recently had a few plastic surgery procedures performed on her to perfect her look.
Previously asked about breast augmentation by Howard Stern, Richards replied, ?Um, natural on outside, on the inside they are not.?

It?s always a draw for celebrities and earlier today (September 13), Kelly Osbourne and Denise Richards were spotted front row at the Tracy Reese Spring fashion show at New York Fashion Week.
The two lovely ladies sat side-by-side and looked to be enjoying the upcoming spring trends being shown on the runway after mingling in the backstage area.
Richards, who was sporting a dark new ?do, met up with fellow model friend Naomi Campbell and, after taking a picture together, Denise tweeted, ?Naomi and I...She is stunning!?
Meanwhile, Kelly took to her Twitter and wrote, ?Getting all made up to go to the Tracy reese show!!!?

Remember back in 2006 when there was all that controversy about Denise Richards dating Richie Sambora, who just happened to be the very recent ex of her neighbor and former BFF, Heather Locklear? There were no homewrecking allegations against Richards at the time, as Sambora and Locklear had already split up after 11 years of marriage for other reasons. (Locklear is said to have surprised Sambora with divorce papers after finding nude photos in his e-mail of one of his assistants. Richards had recently broken up with Charlie Sheen for more compelling reasons like threatening to kill her and an online porn and gambling addiction.)
Richards and Sambora eventually broke up after about a year, shortly before Sambora went to rehab for alcoholism. (He got a DUI the following year, in March, 2008, with his 10 year-old daughter in the car. He got off with probation and a fine.)
Now The National Enquirer is claiming that these two are back together, and they’re trying to keep it quiet.

The actress and the Bon Jovi guitarist have been secretly dating for weeks, sources tell The Enquirer - and they’re trying to keep their rekindled relationship on the down-low because of the troubes of their high-profile former spouses.
Denise, 39, and Richie, 50, began dating in 2006 after their marriages crumbled…
Although things fizzled after a year, “Denise and Richie never really stopped loving each other, a close friend told The Enquirer.
The two recently shared a quiet date at home, cuddling up with DVDs and popcorn, deliberately staying out of the public eye because they didn’t want to become part of the media hoopla surrounding their ex-spouses….
Richie had worked hard to stay on the straight and narrow [after his DUI], say those close to him.
Added the friend: “Denise was impressed enough to give him a second chance.”

I’m guessing this “friend”/source is Denise, who can’t stand it that Richie won’t go out with her for a “quiet” date at the Ivy or a shopping trip to Kitson. You know that Denise would love to make it known that she’s back with Richie so she’s telling the Enquirer and hoping it looks like people still care. We do, I guess, I mean we’re reporting on it. I just wish that Denise would figure out that she can do so much better than Richie, but maybe she doesn’t want to. She seems to have a thing for addicts with serious baggage, although Richie is definitely a step up from Charlie Sheen.

Reuniting for the good of their family, Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards celebrated daughter Lola's birthday alongside one another on Tuesday afternoon (June 1).
Also joined by their other daughter, Sam, and Denise's father, the group hit up the always-popular Disneyland theme park with Charlie lurching behind Denise and his daughters as paparazzi snapped up shots.
The family outing comes just as it has been announced that Charlie will be locked up for 30 days after reaching a plea deal in his domestic violence case with wife Brooke Mueller.
Upon agreeing to plead no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge, the "Two and a Half Men" star will have his felony menacing charge dismissed outright.
The plea is expected to be entered this Monday with the jail sentence beginning right away. Sheen could be out in 17 days with good behavior.

As if he needed any more bad news, Charlie Sheen may have just lost his hopes of avoiding jail time for attacking his wife Brooke Mueller, as his ex-wife Denise Richards is on the Prosecutor’s witness list for his upcoming trial.
According to a report, the “Wild Things” actress may be called to testify against Sheen, given that she also complained of domestic abuse while they were married.
Back in 2005, Denise obtained a restraining order against Charlie, claiming he “pushed me, shoving me with his two hands between my shoulders.”
If Ms. Richards takes the stand, things will go from bad to worse for Sheen. The “Two and a Half Men” actor is currently undergoing rehab for alcohol and cocaine abuse.

Denise Richards made a major Twitter faux pas this morning when she tweeted her phone number, thinking she was sending a private direct message using the social networking service. This just goes to show that celebrities should be super careful when they use Twitter and try and consider whether they want to use it regularly.
The thing is, Denise didn’t even include an @username at the beginning of the tweet indicating the message is meant for a certain person. Those @username messages are still public, but many new users mistakenly think they’re sending a direct message that way. I know this because I’ve seen that “deleted” tweet with Denise Richards’ phone number - I’m not going to say where - but there are several websites online that index celebrity tweets.
Denise explained her mistake by tweeting that she was trying to multi-task and got distracted “thats what I get trying to make lunches, breakfast and tweet at the same time. sometimes multitask is too much… i was on tweetdeck and all the screens were up and just wasnt paying attention. lots of calls though..” Denise has 1.28 million followers on Twitter. She seems to have changed her phone number as a result. She tweeted “ok number is changed!! won’t make that mistake again.” Since I’m nice and don’t feel like talking to Denise Richards anyway, I didn’t check and call the number.
The service Tweleted.com, which used to recover deleted tweets, no longer works. The Tweleted.com site explains that “Twitter fixed the bug that meant that deleted messages still showed up in Twitter search.” If you’re a celebrity there are plenty of sites and users following you, though, so you should be extra careful.
Celebrities have been gradually leaving Twittter, with 16 year-old Miley Cyrus deleting her account earlier this month and explaining that she wanted to keep her private life private. You can still get access to Miley’s thoughts, though, by paying $39.95 a year to her site MileyWorld.com.
