Paying tribute to the late legend, Christina Aguilera was among the star-studded performers taking the stage at the "Michael Forever" Tribute Concert in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday night (October 8).
Honoring the late, great Michael Jackson, the "Moves Like Jagger" singer showed off her strong vocals as she belted out one of the King of Pop's favorite songs, "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin.
Hosted by Jamie Foxx and Fearne Cotton, the event included appearances by Michael's children, Paris, prince and Blanket, as well as his mother, Katherine, and siblings La Toya, Marlon, Tito and Jackie.
Other performers adding their star power to the Millennium Stadium based festivities included Cee-Lo Green, Leona Lewis and Ne-Yo, who told the sold-out audience, "It's not about the controversy. It's not about the trial. It's not about his death. It's about celebrating his life. It's about celebrating his music."

Doing her best to deal with parenting post-divorce, Christina Aguilera was spotted out with son Max Bratman in Santa Monica on Thursday (September 15).
The 30-year-old singer/TV personality proudly toted her little boy out of the Child Success Center after he was dropped off at the daycare center by father, Jordan Bratman.
The sighting comes shortly after rumors that Christina was being fired from "The Voice" emerged - with the claims having since been denied by show execs.
Executive producer Mark Burnett told E! News, "You?re the first person I?ve spoken to about this. Christina is absolutely staying. She is not going anywhere, 100 percent. We were emailing with Christina yesterday. They?re all back.?

Christina Aguilera’s life is one full of enablement. She’s a staggering, fall-down drunk who has spent the better part of this year boozing it up and passing out in (of all places) Jeremy Renner’s bed before ratcheting up the drunken drama factor and botching the National Anthem, falling down onstage at The Grammys, and threatening to fire any and all staffers who suggest that she needs some professional help.
All the while, she’s been enabled by her jumpoff boyfriend, Matt Rutler, who doesn’t appear to be employed in any profession other than holding Christina steady as she stumbles out of restaurants and clubs. In addition, NBC has enabled her with a fancy new job on “The Voice.” Of course, we’ve already heard that Christina has been annoying the other judges on the show by refusing to associate with them off camera, and it turns out that the producers of the show aren’t terribly happy with her either. Could she be getting the boot?
X17 can report exclusively that producers at NBC’s “The Voice” plan to axe Christina Aguilera as a coach on the show.
While Aguilera is under contract for season two, a source close to the show tells us bosses are not happy to be stuck with her and they plan on replacing her for season three. Said our source: “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on the set with her boyfriend.”
AND we hear she is doing some drinking on the job. But, our source tells us this is part of the on-set culture — we’re told Adam Levine and Blake Shelton frequently take shots while filming to loosen up.
Earlier this year, “The Voice” host Carson Daly said the show would succeed without its original coaches. “This show is bigger than any of its coaches or the host,” he said. “This show will live on in perpetuity with many a star in those chairs.”
Reps for Aguilera and The Voice have yet to return requests for comment

Naturally, Christina’s rep was quick to deny this story as “completely false” to Gossip Cop, but that certainly doesn’t mean that NBC isn’t preparing to can Christina’s drunken ass after her contract ends. In all likelihood, they’re already putting out feelers for a female judge to replace her. So this particular denial means nothing because, essentially, Christina exists in a world of drunken denial and is content to believe that her own music career took a nose dive thanks only to Lady Gaga, who obviously copied her and stole her fanbase. Interestingly enough in the X17 article, Cee Lo Green is not included in the shot-taking club of judges. Good for him.

Yesterday, I did a post on Christina Aguilera - go here for the story. It was mostly about how Kim Kardashian wanted Christina to sing at her wedding? for free. Christina refused, of course. Anyway, at the end of the story, I included these strange photos of Christina and her 3-year-old son Max at the airport. I also included Fame Pictures? note that Max seemed to have two black eyes, and that there were ?rumors? that Christina might be a bad or abusive mother. Honestly, I thought Fame was just still stirring the pot - little boys get into things, they play rough, and sometimes they get bruised or worse. I thought it was unfair to automatically assume that Christina was, like, hitting her kid or whatever. I think she?s a boozehound monster, but I won?t even consider the idea that she?s hitting her child.
Well, Christina and her people were pissed off that so many people were muttering ?abusive? when they saw the photos. So they sent ?sources? out to tell TMZ and Us Weekly: ?Any reports stating she isn’t a good mom are incorrect. The reports are actually disgusting. Christina is an amazing mom. Max is a happy playful and active boy who has a loving and safe home.” Sure. But here?s the kicker: Max got two black eyes from chasing after? squirrels?
Christina Aguilera is firing back at rumors she’s somehow responsible for a giant bruise on her son’s face — telling friends little Max simply had himself a little fall at the park … chasing squirrels.
The photo was taken yesterday afternoon at LAX — with rumors circulating that Christina’s “erratic behavior and alleged booze-filled outings” somehow contributed to Max’s accident.
But sources tells us, that’s total nonsense — 3-year-old Max was out with his nanny last week, chasing around squirrels … and the kid tripped over a rock and bruised his face.
According to our sources, Max was taken to the doctor immediately and everything was fine. No broken nose, no stitches. Just your average boyhood bruise.
As one source put it, “Christina is a great mom … Max is her #1 priority.”

Is that something 3-year-old boys do? Chase after squirrels? I thought it was just dogs. Both TMZ and Us Weekly got the ?squirrel? excuse, so obviously, this is the official story: squirrels. Why not just say, ?Max was playing in the park and he tripped??? I don?t understand.
So you know how I just defended Christina?s honor as a NOT abusive mother? Here?s the kicker: Christina being such a boozehound is another form of abuse. If Christina is drinking as much and as often as I think she is, then it is affecting her as a parent, and in the years to come, it will be a form of emotional abuse for Max. I?m just sayin?.

Christina Aguilera walked through LAX with her son Max on Tuesday and now everyone wants to know why he has a black eye. A few reports say Christina’s “booze-filled outings” and “erratic behavior” played a part in the injuries. Me? I just assume she had to tell him twice.
But sources tells us, that’s total nonsense — 3-year-old Max was out with his nanny last week, chasing around squirrels … and the kid tripped over a rock and bruised his face.

In an ideal world, who would you want to play at your wedding? I?d want Al Green, The Pixies and maybe Jane?s Addiction (come on, why not?). Here are people I would never want to perform at (or attend) my wedding: Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Barbra Streisand, Cher or Christina Aguilera. Okay, MAYBE Rihanna and Cher could come to the wedding, but they couldn?t perform. They?re all divas and scene-stealers, and why would you want that on your special day? Better to just invite Perry Farrell and Rev. Green.
Anyway, it seems like Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner thought that it might be a good idea to invite Christina Aguilera to perform at Kim?s wedding. The problem? The Kardashian-Jenner Klan cheaps out, always. Because they are tacky, tacky, tacky.
This weekend brought the highly anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, in which no expense was spared on the lavish event. But according to insiders, The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star?s mom, Kris Jenner wanted The Voice?s Christina Aguilera to perform at the reception, but why didn?t Christina perform? Believe it or not, it was a matter of money!
Money? The Kardashians? I know you are thinking that we must be kidding, but we are not! According to an insider close to Kris Jenner, Kris originally wanted a big name performer like Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Lopez to perform at the wedding, but there was one problem ? she was not willing to pay!
With private concerts by both of the singers costing around $1 million, Kris opted not to go with Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Lopez, as she told friends she refused to compensate that much for their time. Seriously? Did she expect either of those talented women to perform for free?
The whole idea of Kris Jenner refusing to spend that much seems ridiculous. After all, we know Kim Kardashian wore not one, but three custom made wedding gowns, the couple had a $20,000.00 cake, and dinner prepared by Wolfgang Puck, but she couldn?t spare for Christina Aguilera? Instead, the wedding guests were treated to a DJ and Earth, Wind and Fire ? don?t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, but being that this was the so called ?wedding of the year,? we would have thought she would have gotten a bigger name, more age appropriate act for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humpries? big day.

Now, there?s no mention of the specifics of what happened if and when Kris and Kim every took this unholy communist scheme to Christina and her people. God knows, Christina would probably perform at any wedding just as long as she gets free drinks (it might be cheaper to just pay her a flat-fee, honestly, rather than pay her booze fee). I like to think that someone approached Christina while she was sitting at bar, doing shots, and she said something like, ?That Kardashian whore? I would charge her to listen to my vodka farts.?
Meanhwhile, there are some new photos of Christina arriving at LAX on Tuesday, with her son and her boy toy, Matt Rutler. The photos are below, and this is how Fame Pictures described them:

Now, Fame Pictures likes to stir the pot, and this could totally be nothing. It?s probably far more likely that Max was playing and he fell and there?s nothing sinister. Sidenote: how ridiculous does Christina?s skin look?

Gently carrying her seemingly injured young son, Christina Aguilera toted little Max Bratman while joined by boyfriend Matthew Rutler in catching a flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 23).
The "Genie In a Bottle" singer immediately covered her boy up with a blanket upon exiting their vehicle, though pictures taken at the security checkpoint show Max having a bit of a shiner underneath his right eye.
The out of town travels come as Miss Aguilera's slated performance at an October tribute concert to Michael Jackson is up in the air due to protests over the "Michael Forever" event.
According to Rolling Stone, a group with pull has ?criticizied the timing of the show, which coincides with the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson, and expressed confusion over the event?s charitable donations and high ticket prices."

I find it surprising that Christina Aguilera is still with her jumpoff lover/enabler Matt Rutler. He was the production assistant that she met on Burlesque, presumably had an affair with, and then became her official boyfriend once she split from her now ex-husband. They even got arrested together! I thought Matt would get dumped after that, but Christina has kept him around. She must like the way he pours. And she must like his moves, because let?s face it, Christina is not one of those divas who doesn?t need to have drunken, crazy sex. She totally needs it. Poor Matt Rutler. Anyway, Star Magazine has a story this week about how Matt and Christina are planning on getting ?secretly married?:
?The ink is barely dry on her four-month-old divorce, but Christina Aguilera is already planning to secretly marry her boyfriend, production assistant Matt Rutler,? begins a piece from the latest issue of Star magazine.
A so-called ?friend? of the singer reveals, ?Christina is telling us that she?d love to marry Matt. She?s absolutely consumed with him and can?t stand to be apart for even a minute.?
?She began talking about marriage within months of splitting with [ex-husband] Jordan [Bratman],? notes the alleged ?source.?
The mag also says Aguilera and Rutler?s wedding will be ?hush-hush and low key ? the exact opposite of the million-dollar extravaganza she put on for her first wedding in 2005.?
However, this may be a bad move because some suspect that Rutler is shopping 109 scandalous photos of Xtina to various media outlets. (Actually they’re mostly silly bachelorette party photos of Christina mimicking sex acts on lollipops.) Star has seen all the pics and wonders, “Who’s selling Xtina’s saucy photos?”

Unfortunately for lovers of seeing brides in clown makeup, a ?source close to Aguilera? told Gossip Cop, ?The story is entirely false? the couple is happy, neither has plans to marry.? So, it?s a battle of the unnamed sources, because Gossip Cop didn?t even get a denial from Christina?s rep, which makes me suspicious. However, I don?t think Christina is going to end up marrying Matt? yet. She just got out of her first marriage, I can?t see her jumping into another one right away. All of that time planning a wedding could be used for getting hammered.

Do you remember how Christina Aguilera is a drunken, delusional, lie-filled monster? She is. She also has some kind of sand in her biscuit about Lady Gaga. Over the years, Christina has gone on the record in interviews mocking and belittling Gaga (?I don?t know if it is a man or a woman?) and then turning around and copying Gaga?s current M.O. In Christina?s recent W Magazine, the writer summed it up well:
While Aguilera once owned the little-girl-with-the-big-voice pop-star niche, with Bionic, she willfully entered the land of Lady Gaga. In the press, she pretended not to care or notice. ?Oh, the newcomer?? Aguilera told reporters when asked about Gaga. ?This person was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I?m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don?t know if it is a man or a woman.? Despite her feeble claims to confusion over Gaga?s gender and her uncharitable reluctance to give her credit, the video for ?Not Myself Tonight,? Bionic?s first single, had eerily similar tableaux to Gaga?s smash video ?Bad Romance.? Image for S&M image, they matched up. Old fans of Aguilera?s weren?t intrigued by her revamped identity, and new fans didn?t materialize. As the album sputtered, her 20-city summer tour didn?t sell and was canceled, at a cost of millions. There were rumors that her record company wanted to drop her. Things were not good.

CB reported that Christina even used her position on The Voice to slam Gaga, allegedly telling conestants that she (Christina) was bigger than Gaga, more influential, etc. So this new story - also from the Enquirer - is nothing new, and I believe it entirely:
Christina Aguilera blames Gaga for steal both her style and her fans, sources say, and Christina is determined to outshine her. Now that she?s wrapped the first season of The Voice, ?she now plans to write and record two albums? worth of material that she can promote when the show returns in early 2012,? a source divulged. ?She?s determined to make them better than Gaga?s albums.?
?Christina loves being on top, and in her mind, it?s Gaga?s fault that she?s no longer there,? explained an insider. ?She feels that Gaga has stolen her young fan base and has also outdone Christina with her outrageous outfits and stage shows. Christina plans to show Gaga up by creating two new albums that will put her back on top of the charts.?

I could see how Christina would fall into that trap. In her defense, she?s probably too drunk to see the trap. The trap is that Christina is trying to out-do the Lady Gaga of today, and by the time Christina?s album comes out next year, Gaga will be doing something else and everyone will listen to Christina?s album and say, ?Hey, that looks and sounds like Gaga? from a year ago.? As for Gaga ?stealing? Christina?s fan base? idiotic. If Christina wasn?t such a liquor-soaked, unoriginal catastrophe, there would be plenty of room for both she and Gaga (who is a coked-up, unoriginal catastrophe). Christina just has a ?thing? about copying whoever is popular at the moment - first it was Britney, and now it?s Gaga. It?s a shame because Christina does have a powerful voice. She just needs some good songwriters, and she needs to stop with the Gaga crap. Most of us don?t even like the Gaga crap anymore, anyway.
