Not far removed from her breakup news, Christina Aguilera bravely took the stage at the 2010 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (November 21).
Bringing the Nokia Theatre LA Live crowd to their feet, the "Bionic" beauty offered up a stirring performance of her showtunes.
The appearance comes as Miss Aguilera is currently in the midst of promoting her new movie "Burlesque".
Co-starring Cher, Julianne Hough and Cam Gigandet, the musical picture is set to hit theaters on Wednesday, November 24th.

Taking care of some promotional duties, Christina Aguilera dropped by ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? to talk about her new movie ?Burlesque? last night (November 17).
During her time on the show, the ?Ain?t No Other Man? singer also performed a ballad she wrote for the flick called ?Bound to You.?
Of single motherhood, Christina told Jay, ?It?s hard, definitely. It?s hard just even being a working mom and trying to balance and juggle everything on your plate. I like to be the first thing [my son Max] wakes up to in the morning and the last thing he goes to bed at night seeing and singing him his lullabies before bed, it means the world to me to be able to do that.?
Ms. Aguilera also noted that she recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, near Greta Garbo and Julie Andrews, both of whom she deeply admires.

I don?t even know where to start with Christina Aguilera these days. Yesterday was a big day for her - she received (paid for) a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she had her big premiere of Burlesque, with CHER. Sigh? okay, let?s do the Walk of Fame stuff first. Christina was drunk off her ass, judging solely from these photos. Her hair was a mess, her makeup was applied with a shovel, and she came close to flashing her cooter at the world. She?s just a f-cking mess.
Next up, the Burlesque premiere. Cher looked especially waxy, like she had just frozen herself in 1989. Christina is wearing Elie Saab, it seems, although I first thought it was Roberto Cavalli, because Elisabetta Canalis wore an almost identical dress LAST YEAR to the Venice Film Festival, only Eli?s Cavalli was more of a blue-green, and Xtina?s is just green. Almost the same cut, though. Is Elie Saab copying last year?s Cavalli? A discussion for another time - Christina looked totally jacked for the premiere too, and her cotton candy hair is just? f-cking tragic. She could be a cute girl, but I have no idea why she feels like these drag queen styles are good for her. I?m not even joking about the drag queens either - there are drag performers who wear less makeup than Christina.

Christina Aguilera flashed a little cooch as she posed with her new star on the Walk of Fame yesterday, confirming what I’d always suspected: Christina Aguilera has a Barbie vagina. Or Barbie’s lack of vagina. I’m not sure which. All I know is that life-size animatronic plastic dolls give me the fucking creeps.

Continuing on with quite the busy day, Christina Aguilera was looking lovely at the premiere of Screen Gems' "Burlesque" in Los Angeles, California on Monday evening (November 15).
Clad in a flowing green frock, the singer/actress joined co-star Cher as the pair worked the crowd as they slowly but surely made their way into Grauman's Chinese Theater for the debut of their upcoming movie.
Also on hand for the red carpet fete were lovely ladies including Julianne Hough, Khloe Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari, AnnaLynne McCord and Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
"Burlesque" was directed by Steve Antin while boasting a star-studded cast also including Kristen Bell, Julianne Hough, Cam Gigandet and Eric Dane.
Due out in theaters on November 24, the musical drama is about "a small-town girl who ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer."
Prior to the premiere, Christina paid a visit to the Hollywood Walk of Fame - as she was bestowed a star on the legendary Tinseltown locale.

Joining the ranks of thousands of celebrities, Christina Aguilera was spotted receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (November 15).
The ?Ain?t No Other Man? songstress was all smiles in a white dress as she proudly accepted her notable award.
As Christina deals with a divorce from husband Jordan Bratman, she revealed that her ?Burlesque? co-star Cher has helped her get through it.
She told, ?She gave me so much advice, both personally and professionally. She didn't even have to open her mouth. She is just such an incredible presence and person. Been there and done everything before any of us came along. I admire and respect that truly.?

?I was jealous of all the boys on Burlesque because they always had combat boots, but they?d never come in my size . . . Not everything has to be pushed up and out . . . I like to keep my options going. I get bored with the same old thing.?
As for her sexual personal, ?That?s where the bondage and latex came in for Not Myself Tonight, because sexuality is such a freedom. Sexuality is where I feel a lot of times I get to express my voice. Throughout the ages, women are always shamed for it or labeled for it and so it makes me feel empowered to give it a voice and to stand up for it and to be strong about it.?
