Clearly age is just a number as Sofia Vergara proved during her trip to Campeche, Mexico to kick off her 40th birthday celebrations.
The stunning ?Modern Family? actress looked better than ever as she posed with various artifacts on the gorgeous countryside and tweeted ?ciaooo Campeche!? when she arrived at her hotel to a swarm of fans.
With her birthday being on Tuesday, July 10th, Miss Vergara also voiced her elation over a plastic figurine crafted in her likeness, of which she messaged, "I have my own bubble head! Gracias Chi !"
Miss Vergara is spending her trip with on-again boyfriend Nick Loeb, of which a source tells E! News, ?They are very much in love. They have been sightseeing together in Campeche, and are extremely happy. Nick would not be anywhere else but by her side for this important occasion."

Far from her suburban housewife gig on ?Modern Family,? Sofia Vergara takes on a totally different role in the upcoming ?Machete? sequel ?Machete Kills.?
The ?Three Stooges? actress is featured in a new behind-the-scenes video from the set of the Robert Rodriguez flick, and she?s looking awfully sexy.
In ?Machete Kills,? Sofia plays a leather-clad dominatrix alongside Danny Trejo?s hero character, and there?s plenty of action, guns, and sex appeal.
According to one synopsis, ?The sequel reportedly centers on Trejo?s hero being hired by the U.S. government to kill his way through Mexico so he can prevent an arms dealer from launching a weapon into space.?

Sofia Vergara covers the Spanish July issue of Vanity Fair, and she’s smoking a ciggie in grand fashion from the front of the magazine. Yes, I get this is an obvious “she’s smoking hot” message dreamt up by the photographer and approved by VF itself; but in this day and age, it’s a bit shocking to see what is essentially an advertisement for cigarettes on the cover of a (fairly) well-respected magazine. Maybe I’m making too big of a deal out of a silly metaphor though.
As for the other shot released by Vanity Fair, Sofia looks absolutely gorgeous in a tight black dress. I’m also envious of her highlights as I am obsessed with achieving the perfect set of subtle highlights. My current hairstylist does a pretty good job, but I’m thinking of taking this photo to her on my next visit.
Meanwhile, Sofia’s on-off boyfriend, politician Nick Loeb, is spitting mad at recent allegations in National Enquirer that he loves a good prostitute, Viagra, and Ecstasy cocktail on occasion. He’s not only publicly refuting these allegations but is also threatening to sue:

Sofia Vergara’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb–who recently was accused of getting wild and crazy with a few call girls and living a Charlie-Sheen like adventure while dating the stunning Vergara–is adamantly denying the allegations made by the tabloid, The National Enquirer.
Loeb, who was mulling a U.S. Senate bid for almost a year, says the rumors are simply not true.
“My first priority is to protect the people I love, and I hope they are not impacted by these lies and irresponsible reports,” Loeb told the New York Post.
“I am mortified that false illicit behavior has been attributed to me,” he added. “It’s hurtful and unfair.”
The gossip comes just days after Vergara and Loeb reconciled–after a brief breakup due to repeated arguments.
The New York Post says Loeb, who is the grandson one of the Lehman Brothers, is mulling taking legal action against the tabloid for spreading false rumors.

Yes, that’s all well and good to say that the allegations are nonsense and potentially hurtful. But will he actually do something about it and sue the tabloid, or is he just throwing shade? That’s the ultimate question.

Getting in some quality mother-son time, Sofia Vergara was spotted hitting the streets of New York City with her boy Manolo Gonzalez on Monday afternoon (June 18).
The pair walked through the Soho neighborhood with a group of friends as the gorgeous ?Modern Family? actress donned a bright yellow top with her signature flared jeans and wedges.
Roaming from shop to shop, Sofia noshed on cherries and licked away at an ice cream cone in what was quite the pleasurable sight to see.
In personal news, Miss Vergara recently sent a very special message to Aimee Copeland, the Georgia student who is recovering from a flesh-eating disease.
In the video, the 39-year-old beauty expresses her hope for the 24-year-old and says she appreciates her brave fight to survive a body-ravaging infection. As a result of the condition, Aimee?s left leg, right foot and both hands have been amputated.
?We always have you in our minds,? the Columbian beauty said, adding, ?We also believe you are such a strong person, we are so proud of what you are doing and going through. Hopefully I can met you soon and give you a hug.?

Sofia Vergara recently broke up with her aspiring politician boyfriend Lurch Nick Loeb, probably because she wasn’t down with the cocaine-fueled orgies he was having with prostitutes while they were dating. You know how jealous Latina women can be. According to the NY Post:
Two prostitutes told the National Enquirer they had slept with Loeb, with one saying: ?He?ll party with anywhere from two to five girls, usually in luxury hotel penthouses, with porn playing on all the TVs, lines of cocaine laid out and liquor flowing like water.?
But furious Loeb ? who still harbors political aspirations after flirting with a US Senate run last year ? told us in a statement: ?I am mortified that false illicit behavior has been attributed to me. It?s hurtful and unfair. My first priority is to protect the people I love, and I hope they are not impacted by these lies and irresponsible reports.?
Illicit sex parties with hookers, cocaine, and booze? No doubt about it, that’s guy’s a conservative Republican if ever there was one. He’s definitely got my vote next November!

I might have completely misread Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb?s now on-again relationship. My take - which almost none of you read – was that Sofia was not and is not interest in ?settling down? and becoming Mrs. Loeb, and that was why they broke up. I also thought that no dude in his right mind is really going to give up having sex with Sofia Vergara, so Nick came begging for a second chance. As I said, I might have been reading it the wrong way, though. The National Enquirer (via The Mail) has another theory: they claim that Nick Loeb is a sex addict, a recreational cocaine user, and a frequent user of prostitutes. Let me just put Loeb?s denial up top before we get to all of the dirty stuff:

So? it will be interesting to see if Loeb sues The Enquirer. For now, I?m going to discuss the allegations leveled against him and I?ll just throw up a giant ?ALLEGEDLY?:
They split last month after reportedly constantly fighting. And now there may be a reason behind the arguments, as it has been reported that Sofia Vergara’s ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb has been hiding a secret. The National Enquirer claims that the Modern Family star’s wealthy businessman beau is a ‘sex addict’ who regularly indulges in multiple-partner cocaine-fuelled orgies.
Two prostitutes came forward to the publication and alleged that they have both had ‘intimate encounters’ with Nick. A woman, who goes by the name of ‘Cindy’ told the magazine that Sofia had no idea that Loeb was cheating on her.
‘Sofia’s in the dark!’ she said. ‘Nick was willing to risk his future with Sofia for his own selfish pleasure.’
The second woman Bianca believes that Nick is addicted to sex. ‘I think Nick is definitely a sex addict,’ she said. ‘He just can’t get enough. He’ll party with anywhere from two to five girls, usually in luxury hotel penthouses, with porn playing on all the TVs, lines of cocaine laid out and liquor flowing like water.’
Bianca claims that Nick takes Viagra and provides the girls with Ecstasy tablets to ensure that they have a good time.
‘He takes large doses of Viagra and provides sex toys, lingerie and drugs, including Ecstacy. He doesn’t use it but he likes the girls to take it because he believes it makes them enjoy sex more. His favourite thing is to watch two women make love while he has sex with another girl.’
According to Bianca, Nick told her that Sofia wasn’t into the same things as he was when it came to the bedroom, and that is why he turned to sex workers.
‘When I asked Nick about his sex life with Sofia he said, “She’s not into what I like,”‘ Bianca told the magazine. ‘He told me “Sofia won’t even talk about it.”‘
Nick’s racy behaviour doesn’t apparently just stop there. The aspiring politician also reportedly likes to visit strip clubs, according to the publication. There, he allegedly pick up girls, pays them $1,000 and takes them home. In Facebook and phone messages obtained by the National Enquirer, Nick allegedly tried to set-up sex up sex parties with Bianca, but once said he couldn’t interact because Sofia would check his phone. The women allege that Nick was once nearly caught out by the Modern Family star when she called during one of his parties.
‘Sofia would call in the middle of an orgy,’ Cindy told the magazine. ‘Nick would grab his cell phone and bolt. When he got back, I asked, “Does Sofia know what you’re doing?” He said, “No way! She’d kill me.”‘

There?s some stuff about how Sofia is in the dark about all of these alleged activities. I?m not sure what to think – I haven?t read the full story at The Enquirer yet, but I?ll be reading it this afternoon. The Enquirer does some sex scandal coverage really well – remember Tiger Woods? Remember John Edwards? And considering they?re going after Nick Loeb, a man with ties to Hollywood AND Washington, I think the Enquirer would really try to get double and triple confirmation on a lot of these allegations. What I?m saying is this report (or parts of this report) could possibly be true. Allegedly.

I don?t know what to make of this. Back in May, Sofia Vergara dumped her boyfriend of two years, Nick Loeb, after widespread reports of their constant bickering and lack of joint goals. Loeb is a Republican from a prominent and politically active family, and it seemed like he wanted to turn Sofia into a housewife and a political asset for when he eventually runs for a Senate seat (in Florida, probably). Sofia, on the other hand, seemed to indicate in interview after interview that she had no interest in being married again, or having babies, or giving up her career. So? it was a stalemate, there were fights, and everyone kind of understood why they split up. But now it looks like they?re back together? These are new photos of Sofia and Nick last week – it looks like they?re back on.
Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb split last month, but the pair certainly didn’t look like exes on Thursday night in New York. They pair snuggled up together in a corner booth at the preview of Bagatelle New York with a handful of friends, just like old times.
“They we’re laughing a lot and would embrace each other with long hugs,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The Colombian Modern Family star wore a skin-tight white dress that showed off her famous curves. After dinner, Vergara ordered the Bagatelle Mega Sundae, and even though the kitchen was closed the owners personally made the dessert for her ? which Loeb spoon-fed to the actress.
“Sofia was having the time of her life dancing around Bagatelle and chatting up the deejay,” says another source. “They later went to Double Seven and they seemed really affectionate all night. They embraced each other and you can tell they’re still in love.” At the club, the couple danced to tunes spun by DJ Martial.
So are they officially back together?
A Loeb source tells PEOPLE that the couple, who have been in communication ever since they split, still have differences to work out, but really care for each other.
“Nick is crazy about her, and they do have heated arguments and disagreements, but they enjoy many of the same things and have been seeing each other again,” the source tells PEOPLE. “There are compromises to work out on both sides.”
Whether the pair will go back to being a full-blown relationship is still up in the air, says this source.

I?m kind of disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing Sofia as a single girl in Hollywood, making celebrity dudes weep with her hotness. I had high hopes that George Clooney would eventually find his way to her, and the angels would sing. My guess is that Nick Loeb is still really, really into her (who isn?t?) and that he came begging for another chance on whatever terms she would give him. That?s just how I read it – I think Sofia knows what she?s doing, and she?s not prepared to give up her career, nor does she want to be some Republican housewife. And Nick is okay with that. For now.

Kicking off the weekend a bit early, Sofia Vergara was spotted out on a dinner date with Nick Loeb in New York City last night (June 7).
The ?Modern Family? actress was all smiles in a leggy white minidress with a powder blue clutch as she strolled past shutterbugs and headed into a swanky eatery.
Sofia and Nick?s outing last night is just the latest in a string of sightings that confirm that they?re back together.
A month ago, Vergara and Loeb broke up, and a friend of theirs told press, ?THey have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.?
Looks like they missed each other too much to stay apart!
